So... I can't believe i haven't posted in months! I didn't know quite what to put on here. I didn't really like posting outfits all the time even though i am studying fashion design. I see a lot of beautiful things in life so maybe i will continue to show and write about that.

Well since my last blog post, i have been working as a sales consultant as well as continuing my degree. I am really excited at the moment for i will be showing my final collection this year in a big event.

I had the privilege of going to America for Christmas with my boyfriend and his family. I thought i would show you a few out of the 1000 taken! I stayed in Cape Coral, Florida for 2 weeks and it was paradise. Sunshine, swimming, and seeing a lot of the areas surrounding. Swam in the sea and a dolphin was literally 100 yards away.

I stayed in Miami for New years, which had to be the perfect end to the holiday. It was such a surreal christmas, in england although it didn't snow (for the first time in years) its always freezing. I was running around at christmas in a bikini!! Those of you who have been away at christmas will know exactly what i mean.

I will show you more pictures of the holiday in my next post and I'm also off to Paris next week so got some exciting things to share with you.

But for now, i'm back and i hope all my readers (if your still here) are well and enjoying a lovely and healthy 2012 xxxx

Orange + Bank Holiday.

I hope you have had a lovely bank holiday and unlike me haven't had to endure final deadline month. I am up to my arms in work and have numerous piles of paper and fabric around me. I can't wait till Summer holidays! On more positive news... i have landed myself a job interview with one of my favourite brands on Wednesday.. FINGERS CROSSED i get the job :)

PS .. Do you like my teeny weeny micro bag from Therapy? I literally crammed my essentials in there!

I apologise some parts of the photos are blurry.. it was extremely windy and my skirt (and hair) was blowing all over the place!

Don't you think these Woven bags are the cutest?

I personally hate carrying leather bags around in the summer for it gets so hot with the sun! These will be perfect if you were going to a Festival this year or even like me going away on holiday. I have a bag in the same shape already and you can fit so much in it!

Do you know the best thing about these bags? Well, thanks to the Wayuu Taya Foundation, the proceeds from the sale online go to benefiting the Wayuu indigenous people aiding with parenting, health and nutrition. Summer is here.. IT IS!

It feels like i've been waiting for summer for ages.. no YEARS. I know i'm a tad dramatic but who actually likes the rain and the cold?

The outfit is casual, perfect for walking around Bath yesterday. I love my skirt i bought it from Miss Selfridge a couple of months ago, they had one in black also but red is my favourite colour :) Im also making use of my boyfriends garden for his parents spend so much time on it that it's beyond beautiful.

Bath was fun, full of tourists, sat in a beer garden and relaxed in the heat! Unfortunately i didn't find any bargains and the battery on my camera went so i'm a complete numpty. I did love one shop, and it's becoming my favourite called 'Instant Vintage'which is a little boutique with their own brands as well as others. It consists of the most beautiful clothes, feminine accessories and home decorations you could ever imagine. Check their website here. If i could i would own all of it.. check out the skirts and the perfume bottles!

i shall be going to Bath again soon i'm sure, so i shall wait to post the few i have till i have more.

Hello Lovelies, I've been staying in Glastonbury for a few days now, the weather is gorgeous. Good enough for a little sun tan i think! Pleaaaase exscuse my dollies as i packed lightly and havent worn them in a long time.

I'm going to Bath today (a city in Somerset) which has a lot of marvellous boutiques and vintage hot spots. Hoping to get my self a coloured blazer :).. guess what colour?! I Will take some photos to show you Bath, as i feel it is a little snow globe of London. For those who have been you will definitely know what i mean. Rosie Huntington- Whiteley. This 23 year old is the new Megan Fox in the new Transformers 3 film. Isn't she amazingly beautiful, so much so you kind of want to never eat and failing that hide away? She is originally from where i live. She became a model after having work experience at 15. She is an english rose. I love how versatile she is and how she can be almost unidentifiable in some photo shoots. She adapts so well. I just wanted to share these with you all, for i was flicking through the magazines and hadn't recognised her the first time i read it! She's also had a book made of her called 'Ten Times Rosie' by Paul Rankin last year.The book showcases the designs of Paula Thomas, founder and head designer of the luxury label Thomas Wylde. It's really fascinating, and shows how unique she is. Below is my favourites out of it..

Dior Rock Coat

Soooo i said i bought the Rock Coat Nail Varnish the other day. It is supposed to give you a smoky black top coat. i decided to test this with colours i already owned. Neon Orange and Pink from BarryM and a darker Glittery Pink from Bourjois. i have been wearing these colours for months and been excited to try the Rock Coat over them for a change. The photos below are my results (apologies for the state of my hands at the moment i am frantically making a felted jumper by hand)

Above is the Neon Orange from BarryM. My index finger has one coat of the Rock Coat and my ring finger is two coats. I leavt the others original to see the difference.

Ring Finger is one coat on top of Neon Pink and my index finger is two coats on top of Neon Pink. My thumb is One coat on top of glittery pink and my baby finger is glittery without Rock Coat.(Sorry if i'm confusing)

I personally prefer the Orange. I like how using the Rock Coat it makes the bright fade, leaving a shimmer of colour from underneath. If you were to use it with another pink or orange brand it would most likely look different again. Unique. So i guess i never have to buy dark nail varnishes again. (until this runs out) :) what do you guys think? Have any of you purchased it?

Floral Me Over.

Im currently enjoying easter break.. even though i have a lot of uni work to be doing. Today i started reading 'Red Riding Hood' by Sarah Blakley-Cartwright. It's about to be shown in the cinema by the director from Twilight Saga. It's a bit weird. I am a massive love of reading. I used to think i was Matilda when i was little for i would always be around the school library. History fascinated me and i would read up on anything we were learning.. ancient greeks was my favourite, i wanted to marry Hercules...hmm. It might be sad to say, but the disney film is still one of my favourite all time films.

I've also been reading lots of beautiful blogs, didn't realise the time until about half an hour ago. The blogging world is an infinity pool, full of unique style, ideas and thoughts. One of the best things i have started in a while. Although it is not helping my bank card. OH WELL.

The Outfit i wore today is rather old. Its a Henry Holland dress, Knitted Jumper, Hat from Next, Shoes from Ebay.

Well i hope everyones happy on this drizzly day. I feel i might of jinxed the no rain malarky in my last post. hmmm. I was feeling rather colourful today but due to the weather thought i would tone it down a tad. I ripped my jeans last week after i spilt wax on them accidentally. All you need is a scourer and a pair of scissors if you have any jeans your binning. My shoes are from my boyfriends parents, they work with Irregular Choice (and many other brands) as distributors, i'm a very lucky girl. The best thing about Irregular Choice shoes are the unique craziness and not forgetting the shoes soles.. always different by season. These have rabbits and red hearts :) Check them out here! These bad boys are on their way to me, i am in love. I have been looking for a pair of shoe boots with a cowl neck look. Aren't they just h e a v e n l y??

I also purchased the new Rock Coat Nail Polish by Dior. I warn you to purchase it asap for it's selling out really quickly, as it's LIMITED EDITION. It's supposed to give a smokey effect to a colour underneath of your choice, i have pink and orange to play with :) Im past excited.

Just found a (new to me) website where you can create moodboards of your favourite clothes and basically show your style wishes .. a bit like Fashiolista but maybe better .. not too sure yet, i shall keep playing. Has anyone else been using this? Any tips? Its a good job my deadline is in, i feel i might procrastinate for a while on polyvore.com CHECK IT OUT if you haven't already!

Slits in the sleeves, Colour is still a trend in the autumn but calming it down with black. Skinny belts to break up the dark fabrics. Making features out of the pockets.. basically i think within this collection its the little details that are amazing. My favourite in this collection has to be the exaggerated collars, it looks awesome don't you think? i really want the long coat in the last image.

Well the voting has closed for the 'Mango Loves Fashion Bloggers' and it was definitely a hard choice for they all created lovely looks. I voted for the amazing blogger Andy, who is the author of the Scrapbook Diaries .. Congratulations are in order for she won! She has a fantastic style, that inspires me with the new trends and obviously she's beautiful! Check her blog out! From winning she chose to donate €5,000 to the Red Cross For Japan! Well as Mango probably hoped it meant a vast amount of shopping addicts being directed to their site... I don't own a lot of denim.. i think this needs to be corrected. IMMEDIATELY. Ha.

Sarah Burton is doing an amazing job at keeping the brand of Alexander McQueen alive don't you think? I love the AW11 collection.. very detailed and the style has the McQueen details here and there except for the colour explosions. But i think She is making up for that in other ways. i adore the harnesses and laced up bottoms, neckline and shoes.. also the functional zips within the skirt is pretty fantastic!

My favourite garment out of the collection has to be photograph 4.. i love 'mullet' dress styles and have been cutting my maxi dresses in salute to them recently. Yohji Yamamoto did a gorgeous black stripped one a few seasons back.

It's so warrior princess, i just wish i could wear a few of these dresses, id feel so powerful!

First of all, thank you to my new and first two followers and comments. Much appreciated and i now officially have friends :)

Anyways, Im in the last few pounds of my student loan so cant really afford much at the moment.. sad life. This outfit is what i've been wearing for a while now, i bought the shirt originally for my trip to Paris a while back. I love Leopard print.. my duvet, lampshade, cushions, mac, scarves, trousers.. basically a lot of my life is adorned in the print! I haven't quite decided if i have overdone it. Possibly. But i don't really care.

I helped out with my university fashion shoots today, I had my hair styled like this and i must say my housemate and boyfriend were surprised when i came home (they were in hysterics) its not really like me to have my hair scrapped back. I always have some hair around my face.

So here goes my first outfit post.

I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have been reading my blog so far.

I wanted to tell you guys a little more about my life.

I live in Devon (yawn) and am far from a country bumpkin as you could possible imagine. I hate bugs, mud and pastry! Im petrified of animals and sea creatures although i really love dogs. I dream of living in a big city where you can do as you please, wear whatever and no one cares. Like today when i wore the above outfit, locals were asking if i'm in fancy dress.. no jokes.

I am a student studying Fashion Design. I have been since i was 16. My style i would like to say is a variety of fabrics, colours and styles. I love leopard print and leather, highwaisted flares and polka dots. I like to customise my clothes to make them different from the original purchase. I don't hate the colour pink but i don't have a simple item of it in my wardrobe. My favourite colour is red and have been dyeing it this way for over 2 years.

I want this blog to be a diary of my thoughts, style and anything in-between.

In the middle of work i have been 'researching' up on high streets versions of the long skirt..their coming in variations e.g... light/pleated/belted/prints.. or even all of the stated styles. Some are showing a peek of thigh with a slash cut going up towards the hemline..

So i have spent the day wondering around the local mall, adoring the 70's inspired garments and accessories. i have been trying on sunglasses and hats majority of the time with my sister. One of the biggest returning trends at the moment has to be the round sunglasses just after the catlike shades.. Lady Gaga, Mary-Kate Olsen, Taylor Momson, Johnny Depp all tribute John Lennon (below) and the Beatles already in retro spheres. Even the fictional Harry Potter adorns them. I've included a few pairs from TOPSHOP and ASOS above, i think my favourite are the small gold winged shades from Unique TOPSHOP inspired by Proenza Schoulers S/S11 collection. Diane Van Furtsenberg also is below.

They are so funky. What do you think?

Lady Gaga did a special guest appearance here, with platinum blonde hair extensions and her iconic attitude. She has apparently already bought the whole collection in every colour, so no doubt we shall see her in them very soon. I loved the sheer body stocking dress. And the vibrant blues in contrast to the dark collection. Futuristic is one of my mainy loves within fashion, for it's more 'outside the box' and obviously striking. My favourite garment in the collection is the last image with the clear mesh around her front, the elaborate sleeves. It looks like the dress has been pulled apart,she's tried her hardest to get out of it and the fabrics rolled into place. LOVE IT

So my weekend is finally here, shall be constructing my own chiffon skirt this weekend for i think i will go insane if i don't own one soon! Might as well make use of my own skills. Not been too keen on posting myself, so i might put a photo up of the result in the next few days.. MIGHT. Yesterday i started an extra credit class that consisted of oil paints.. NOTE TO SELF: Next week don't wear anything you love OR find something that needs improving with paint splatters. :) NOT MY MATTHEW WILLIAMSON BLAZER.. cringe.
