In other news, the Mormons rejoice as the Catholics take a bigger lead on being assholes who want to be all up in your business even when you aren’t part of their fucking religion.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington said Wednesday that it will be unable to continue the social service programs it runs for the District if the city doesn’t change a proposed same-sex marriage law, a threat that could affect tens of thousands of people the church helps with adoption, homelessness and health care.

Fearful that they could be forced, among other things, to extend employee benefits to same-sex married couples, church officials said they would have no choice but to abandon their contracts with the city.

Because keeping gays as second class citizens is more important than helping society? Who in the fuck is writing their priority list? I’ll tell you who:

Fucking Farmville, Man.

If you have a Facebook account (and who doesn’t?) you’re probably either playing Farmville or know someone who is. Every day I’d log on to FB I’d be updated on who just leveled up, who just won a ribbon for growing pumpkins, who found a pink cow or black sheep, who just became Master of Corn, or whatever the fuck else it is that farmers do.

I was thinking it would be great if there was a Drug Farmville where you grow pot and mushrooms and avoid being detected by the police. I bet these guys wish that too.

Regardless, I decided to try it out, and to its credit, it’s very addicting. After getting used to it I decided to make things look prettier than my friend’s farms, and I thought I did an okay job with my fruit stand and nice neat little rows of dirt beds and trees and not caging my animals in like other inhumane farmers do.

So I decided to poke around on the internets and see what other people have come up with. Now I’m jealous and need to get back to rearranging …after my next harvest of course.
