Here’s the follow -up to yesterday’s engagement shoot post about the steampunk couple, Alison and Eric, who were married recently at the Carnegie Institute in DC. They had a steampunk inspired wedding styled by the amazing Anne Kelley of Atrendy Wedding and the team at Capital Decor and Events. It was lovely. Not only was the wedding decor beautiful, but the couple, surrounded by family and friends, married their best friend. When Alison and Eric mentioned the term steampunk in their first meeting, I was clueless. But the term kept coming up- on TV: CBS News Sunday Morning, on Etsy, in movies including Hugo (OH my, the light in this movie is just stunning), and Sherlock Holmes. I was especially excited to hear that Anne from Atrendy Wedding and the team at Capital Decor would be on hand to make this couple’s steampunk inspired wedding come to life. I never had a chance to blog this couple’s engagement photos, so I’m going to include a few of my favorites to get us started and tomorrow I will post the wedding photos and all the details of their big day!
