Are Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama Together or Not?

Are Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama together again or have they split for good? Every couple of weeks or so something comes up about a split, a reunion, or a sighting of the former Sonny With A Chance and That 70s Show actors complete with PDA. What gives?

According to a report from Hollywood Life, the two have reportedly been carrying on in a bit of a flirtatious manner via Twitter, so fans are speculating that the two are back together or never really split for good in the first place.

"Who's gonna watch @WillyVille on his new show Awake?!!!!! I am!!!!!" the Skyscraper singer recently tweeted to her followers. "Thank you my @ddlovato, with #Awake a new chapter begins!" Wilmer Valderrama tweeted in reply.

Does Wilmer's reference of a 'new chapter' indicate a second (or is it third now?) chance for Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama in the romance category or is it simply in reference to the show the two plan to watch?

It's so easy to speculate and read more in to tweets and Facebook messages than the writers ever intended. That's just one of the perils of social media. Hopefully if Demi and Wilmer really experienced a split and/or a reconciliation of late, they did it away from the social media networks.

So what do you think? Are they together? Are they apart? Do the tweets each sent indicate anything whatsoever except what they're going to watch on TV. And most importantly of all--do you even care?

Demi Lovato Reveals Emotional Journey To Recovery In New MTV Special…

Demi discusses her personal struggles, from her eating disorder to her cutting!!! Demi Lovato enlisted MTV’s help to document her public recovery after she departed the Illinois treatment center she checked herself into in Nov. 2010.

“I wanted to share my story but I knew it had to be honest, it had to be real,” Demi tells MTV News. The MTV special Demi Lovato: Stay Strong will show us how Demi confronted her demons while still pursuing her dreams. Fans will see Demi on the road touring and returning home to Dallas, as well as her visit to the treatment center that helped her return to a healthy lifestyle.

Demi opens up about her decision to enter rehab and how she hopes her story will help someone else struggling with similar issues. “If opening up and sharing my story inspires even one person to stay strong or to get the help they need, I’ve succeeded,” she says. Be sure to catch the MTV special at 10 p.m. on March 6.

Demi Lovato is giving fans an insider view of what life's been like for her since leaving a treatment center last year, documenting it for the MTV special "Demi Lovato: Stay Strong," debuting Tuesday, March 6, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

The special will follow the singer in her most private moments, as she deals with her very public recovery from personal issues, including an eating disorder and cutting. "Stay Strong" shows her confronting these problems while still working on her career, including going back on the road for a tour. Since leaving a trek with the Jonas Brothers in the fall of 2010 to enter treatment, the singer has leaned on the support of her family, friends and devoted fans, known as Lovatics.

Lovato will go into detail about the events that caused her to seek treatment and how she decided to share her personal struggles and journey with the world. "I wanted to share my story but I knew it had to be honest, it had to be real," Lovato said in a statement. "I have daily challenges but so do many kids who are struggling to feel comfortable in their own skin. If opening up and sharing my story inspires even one person to stay strong or to get the help they need, I've succeeded."

Fans will get to hit the road with the singer, as well as travel home with her to Dallas, Texas, to see her family. She will also head back to the Illinois treatment center she entered in November 2010.

Lovato first teased the project on Tuesday when she tweeted a photo of her tattooed wrists reading "Stay Strong." "Lovatics-I wanted to tell you FIRST about a special I worked on with @MTV," she tweeted. "It premieres March 6th at 10pm!! #staystrong" Lovato hit the road late last year for a solo trek shortly after dropping her third album, Unbroken. The personal record included the chart-topping hit single "Skyscraper."

What does Demi Lovato have up her sleeve? We'll know in good time. But for now, the singer/actress tweeted out a photo teasing a super-secret special project she is working on with MTV. The photo features her wrists, emblazoned with her tattoos that read "Stay Strong." The picture offers up a couple of hints: the date "3.6.2012" and the hashtag #staystrong.

"Lovatics-I wanted to tell you FIRST about a special I worked on with @MTV," she tweeted. "It premieres March 6th at 10pm!! #staystrong."Lovato first showed off the ink back in March 2011, just two months after she left an Illinois treatment center to deal with personal issues including an eating disorder and cutting.

"The journey that I went through and the support of my fans was so meaningful to me that I wanted to thank my fans in a way that I know can never be forgotten," the singer said in 2011.

"It's something that my fans were actually drawing on their wrists while I was still in treatment," she explained about the significance of her tattoos. "Some people even got tattoos of it, so I wanted to show you guys that I will never forget the support that you guys gave me."

Since returning to the spotlight, she has focused on her music career, including her 2011 album, Unbroken, which launched her empowering hit single "Skyscraper." Her next single is "Give Your Heart a Break."

Lovato has become a voice for young people struggling with personal issues. In December, she visited and spoke to patients at the Timberline Knolls Center, where she had received treatment.

"To be able to share my story and let them know that it gets easier ... Life is beautiful ... you are worthy of it," Lovato said. "Please say a prayer for all of those struggling with eating disorders, self-harm, mood disorders and substance abuse."

Demi Lovato is talking about her personal struggle with food. Now Lovato confesses that her eating disorder has been life-long and claims that she was "born" with it. Demi really continues to stick her neck out there and share her personal battle.

Therefore, could Demi Lovato really have been, as the Lady Gaga song says, "Born this Way?" Demi seems to think so...as clearly her own issues with her self-image go way back:cDemi then goes on to admit that she was a victim of bullying by the time she was in middle school. This is a really sad situation, but at least now Demi Lovato sees the patterns in her life that trigger this disease and hopefully she will better help herself in her daily struggles with food. Even more important, by bringing attention to her own personal struggles, perhaps she can help some of her own fans who have similar situations, with either bullying or eating disorders.

Demi Lovato believes she was 'born' with an eating disorder. The 19-year-old singer-and-actress - who checked into rehab in October 2010 to receive treatment for self-harm and bulimia- can't remember ever having a normal relationship with food and has always been plagued with thoughts about being too fat. She said: 'I think I was born with an eating disorder, because I've never had a relationship with food that was normal.

'I remember looking in the mirror with nappies on thinking, 'You're fat, change it'. 'II started overeating when I was about eight; I was a binge eater. I would bake a whole plate of cookies and eat them all. Then when I turned 12 I was bullied in school and they called me fat. I went from being an overeater to stopping eating and I lost about 30lb. From then on I continued undereating, but my weight plateaued.

'Then I started throwing up to lose weight.' Demi also revealed she started self-harming when she was 12 years old and admits to 'self-medicating' with drugs and alcohol. She added in an interview with You magazine: 'I started when I was 12, when I was bullied. It was my way of dealing with the stress and then I often resorted to it when I was feeling overworked.

'Girls who self-harm scratch or cut themselves with razor blades, scissors or sharp objects, or burn themselves. I've pretty much tried all of it. My main thing was cutting and that was so horrible. 'I definitely self-medicated with drugs and alcohol. I would be lying if I said I didn't.' Though Demi is now focused on her recovery, she is aware that she will be fighting her problems for the rest of her life.

She added: 'There's definitely temptation - every meal I fight it. It's an addiction and I'm going to have to fight it for the rest of my life. 'There's no cure and I may mess up, but I want to be a better role model for my fans and my younger sister.'

Demi Lovato’s rep silences fresh rehab rumors

Demi Lovato’s representative has silenced rumors suggesting the singer/actress skipped the Grammy Awards last weekend because she was back in rehab. The 19 year old, who sought professional help for an eating disorder and self-harm issues at the end of October 2010, was allegedly billed to serve as a presenter at the prestigious Los Angeles ceremony – but she was nowhere to be seen.

A Twitter post from Lovato on Sunday only added to the mystery. She wrote, “Away on a mind and body cleansing retreat!! This is exciting.. Won’t be tweeting much this week but I love you my sweet lovatics (fans)!”

Her Grammys absence and her Twitter message prompted some gossips to speculate about her
whereabouts, but a spokesperson has now set the record straight. The rep tells MTV News, “She’s not in rehab. She was not supposed to present at the Grammys.”

Lovato’s publicist was previously forced to dismiss fresh rehab reports in January – one year after she completed her stint at the Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center in Illinois.

Demi Lovato has certainly showed her chameleon tendencies when it comes to hair color. The "Skyscraper" singer has explored her brunette side with varying shades of browns, usually with added dimension from highlights. She's also walked on the darker side, with deeper shades of jet black. More recently, Lovato has experimented with red, specifically a fiery hue that turned heads, especially when paired with a scarlet frock and deep red lipstick, such as during her recent performance at the People's Choice Awards. Now the entertainer is making waves with her latest shade: blonde! Perhaps she's a believer that blondes really do have more fun.

Lovato always seems to be a fan of showing off her new beauty statements via Twitter. In that spirit, she revealed her new lighter and brighter hair on February 11, 2012, tweeting a photo of herself and saying, "Ahhahaha Demi Blondevato is a trending topic?!! Y'all are funny! Haha."

Her new 'do is definitely worthy of the nickname, "Demi Blondevato." While the color isn't a super daring shade of platinum or beach blonde, it is still very striking and seems quite multidimensional with some touches of red and lighter brown highlights for impact. The hue really plays off her complexion beautifully and brightens up her face. Talk about blonde ambition!

As Celebuzz reports, Demi Lovato also gave a shout out to the salon behind the new shade, tweeting, "Thank you SO much Nine Zero One salon for my new locks!! New week, new haircuts! Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus both changed up their hairstyles (again) last week, sharing photos of their new looks on Twitter.

Lovato — a natural brunette who was most recently a redhead — went blonde Saturday. “Thank you SO much Nine Zero One salon for my new locks,” she wrote, asking fans for feedback. They must’ve liked the look: later that day, she Tweeted, “Haha Demi Blondevato is a trending topic?!! Y’all are funny!”

Cyrus’s change was a bit more subtle: the singer, who took five inches off of her hair last month, went a bit shorter and added some face-framing layers. Her Tweet of “You likey?” was met with compliments like “fab” and “beautiful” from adoring followers.
