Justin Bieber treated his girlfriend Selena Gomez to a good ‘ol fashion meal-and-a-movie this weekend. On Saturday, the pair were spotted grabbing some lunch at Los Angeles’ Sushi Dan before catching a flick at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. SelGo looked absolutely smitten as she stayed close by her man the entire afternoon.

Recently, Selena opened up to us about her tattoo experience. “I was really scared,” she told Celebuzz at Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Women in Film cocktail party on Friday night. “I was a pansy so I’m good for now for a while.”

Looks to us like Justin won’t be taking her to the tattoo parlor any time soon! Even though SelGo only has one small tattoo — a musical note — on her right wrist, her boyfriend Justin has been inked at least three times. The latest addition to his growing collection includes a portrait of Jesus Christ on his calf.

Before attending the upcoming 84th Annual Academy Awards this coming weekend, some big stars in movie industry celebrated the prestigious event at Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party. Among those who stole attention upon arriving at the bash was Selena Gomez.

The girlfriend of Justin Bieber opted for a cute-yet-mature look in a daring dark-colored bustier which she matched with a short nude-colored skirt and a pair of matching high heels. The 19-year-old star wore her hair down and styled it in soft curls.

The party took place at Cecconi's Restaurant on Friday night, February 24 in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. It was co-hosted by Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who also looked lovely showing off her cleavage in a black deep-plunging number.

Also coming to the soiree were Vanessa Hudgens, Viola Davis, Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer. They lighted up the event with their choice of bright colored outfits. Vanessa donned an orange gown, Viola opted for a purple ensemble, Jessica rocked a pink number, and Octavia chose a yellow dress.

Selena Gomez has some fresh ink on her wrist. The singer stopped by Under the Gun tattoo parlor in Hollywood last night and employee Jordan Sandoval Tweeted a shot of his work on Selena's body: a tiny little heart just under her right forearm.

"She was excited...she wasn't nervous. She is way cute," Jordan Tweeted along with the photo, adding that Gomez "took it like a champ" and didn't mention if the heart was in honor of someone in particular. But we all know the answer to that question, don't we? Selena's boyfriend is no stranger to do body art himself. Justin Bieber made headlines in January for his Jesus Christ tattoo.

Selena Gomez: 'I Was Never Confident in School'

Selena Gomez has revealed that she was never "the popular kid at school." She recalled her old days at school to Mail Online, saying, "I had two friends, but I just sat at the back of the room and got on with my work." She spilled, "School is such an awkward time in your life. I was never confident in school."

Although she was not in the popular crowd, the leading lady of "Monte Carlo" never got bullied. "Nobody picked on me because my cousin was one of the popular gang," she explained before adding, "She was always very protective of me, so I guess I was very lucky."

During the interview, Gomez also admitted that she wasn't lucky when it came to romance. She remembered, "I never went out with guys at school. I had a crush on a guy, but I never told him about it. I did the thing that a lot of girls do: I avoided him!"

"You need that self confidence if you want to chat to the guy you like," the girlfriend of Justin Bieber further gushed. "If you're confident with yourself, and you're okay with that, then you should go for it."

On how she handled negative criticism coming from others, Gomez said, "There's a lot of rejection in this industry and it's tough. There are also a lot of obstacles that you have to go through and it can be really exhausting. But if you love it, then that's all that matters."

"You've got to go for it. I still have people trying to bring me down, but I'm happy because I love what I do. Ignore the cruel jibes and stick with the nice people," the brunette actress said. "I'm lucky because I have a lot of support from my family and friends. I have so many amazing things in my life."

In the interview, the former Alex Russo depicter on "Wizards of Waverly Place" continued, "I have a healthy, loving family and I have amazing fans." She shared, "That's all that matters to me. I try my best to not dwell on the bad stuff. Focus on the positive."

Selena Gomez has unveiled an eye-popping new version of her ‘Hit the Lights’ video to accompany the remix version of the song.The remix is nearly identical to the original recording, except that an extra layer of synths has been added to the poppy beat. Similarly, the new video matches the old one, but the contrast has been cranked up to distort the colors. It looks like something an art student would create, and it’s a really cool visual.

In the video, Selena and her friends forget about all their cares and spontaneously enjoy life. That means dancing through cornfields, playing baseball with pumpkins, chasing each other with flashlights and jumping into piles of balloons.

There’s also a scene that looks like it might be Gomez and boyfriend Justin Bieber engaged in some hardcore lip locking, but a peek at the original video shows that it’s actually another set of young lovebirds who resemble the teen pop power couple. The original ‘Hit the Lights’ appeared on Selena Gomez and the Scene’s 2011 album ‘When the Sun Goes Down.’

In the magazine, Selena’s super cute style is celebrated and dissected by the editors, but in a positive way. They dole out tips on how to achieve a style similar to the ‘Who Says’ singer. Even though she is 19, Gomez always looks fresh, fun, appropriate and never shows too much skin. She is classy and timeless, all the while remaining age-appropriate and youthful.

The mag points out that she mixes unique fabrics and metallics with neutrals while showcasing images of the star’s changing locks through the years, such as her fashion-forward bob or her long beachy waves.

Looks like things might be getting more serious between teen heartthrobs Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. And this time a ring is involved. On Monday (Feb. 13), Gomez posted a photo on her Instagram page of the happy couple holding hands. But what was on Gomez's finger was the big surprise - a ring with something that sure looks like diamonds in the shape of the letter "J."

Gomez writes, "I'm finally home :)"The two had split for a while while Gomez toured with her band through South America. As for what this ring means for the future of Bieber and Gomez, only time will tell.

Selena Gomez got some new bling for Valentine's Day, and she's showing off to the world. The singer, whose famous boyfriend is Justin Bieber, posted a pic of her new "J" ring for all her fans to see. "I'm finally home :)," she wrote as the caption to the Instagram photo. The red-hued pic, we presume, showed Justin holding Selena's hand, which was adorned with a sparkly new ring.

It's clear that the beautiful piece of jewelry is not an engagement ring, but could it be a promise ring of sorts? Who knows? Maybe the 19-year-old singer bought it for herself to show her love for her guy. So far, Sel hasn't made any additional comments about the sparkler, and the only Valentine's Day tweet she sent was about a holiday sale on her single 'Love You Like a Love Song.'

Justin Bieber is smart enough to know Selena Gomez is quite a catch—but did he just put a ring on her finger? Gomez shared this photo of her hand with an extra sparkly "J" ring holding Bieber's hand via Instagram with the caption, "I'm finally home :)" Um, so what's the dealio?

Unfortunately, we don't know whether it's a promise ring or a Valentine's Day gift or something else entirely. But whatever the ring does or doesn't mean, we're pretty jealous of all the love going on here (oh, and those beautiful flowers).

Though Gomez and Bieber seem to be going strong, the lady singer did have to part ways with a few loved ones recently. "my band and I are going our separate ways for a while," Selena wrote on her Facebook page. "This year is all about films and acting and I want my band to play music wherever with whoever. We will be back but, it will be a good while. I love them and I love you guys :)"

Justin Bieber loves being creative when planning dates with his girlfriend Selena Gomez - remember how he rented out the Staples Center in LA for a private screening of her fave film Titanic in September 2011? Of course, Valentine's Day would only lead Bieber to raise the bar. In fact, he got started on the romantic dinner route even before 14 February.

JB and Selena missed the Grammys (yes, really!) for a pre-Valentine's Day dinner on 12 February at Chanpen Thai Cuisine in New York. They both ordered chicken - Penang curry for him and Pad Thai for her - and appeared cosy and comfy together through dinner. A source told Hollywood Life that the couple were “very pleasant to the staff” and acted very much “in love”. How sweet! We can’t wait to see how they celebrate tonight! Watch this space...
