Relationship Experts Disregard Their Own Advice in Bravo's Miss Advised

Bravo will premiere Miss Advised, a docu-series about three single relationship experts who make a living dispensing dating advice, but struggle to make their own love connections. The series will premiere Monday, June 18 at 10pm ET/PT. It follows Julia Allison in Los Angeles, Amy Laurent in New York City and Emily Morse in San Francisco, as they maneuver through the dating world disregarding their own advice.

In the premiere episode, dating columnist Julia Allison makes a big move to Los Angeles on a quest to find Mr. Right. With a mere 73-point checklist to guide her, Julia is ready to settle into the storybook romance of her dreams. Matchmaking maven Amy Laurent has built an empire in New York City by bringing perfect matches together, but when an old flame comes back to town, she struggles to follow her own guidelines. Radio host and sex expert Emily Morse is on a life mission to help people have better sex. She proclaims that monogamy is an epidemic, but when her happily-married brother comes to visit, Emily admits that she would be open to falling in love.

President Obama's Love Letters and Poetry Revealed in New Biography

Becoming Obama, a new biography of President Obama by David Maraniss, reveals some of the President's love letters from his college days with two young women he met before his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama. Some of the book is excerpted here in a Vanity Fair article.

Fox to Launch New Dating Game, The Choice, in June

Fox has announced a new dating game show, The Choice, which will debut on June 7. The show will feature eligible celebrities and will be hosted by Cat Deeley. The series borrows a few elements from the hit show, The Voice, such as the celebrities sitting in chairs with their backs to the singles - able to hear only their voices. Here is a description of the show from the press release:

Filmed in front of a live audience, each episode begins with four of the world's most eligible bachelors sitting in rotating chairs, turning their backs on love and unable to see the sexy singles looking for a date with fame. In this initial "Blind Round," each celebrity can only use his suitors' voices - as they share information about their life, passions, turn-ons and turn-offs - to help himself make The Choice. When the celebrity bachelor likes what he hears, he pulls his "love handle," spinning his chair around to bring him face-to-face for the first time with his potential mate. If more than one celebrity pulls the handle, they must battle it out for her affection until the sexy single gets The Choice to pick whose dating pool she wants to swim in.

Once each bachelor has his three hotties, the teams enter the "Speed Choice" round, where each woman has only seconds to convince her leading man to sweep her off her feet to the final round.

In the final round, love is on the line when host Deeley poses a challenge question to each of the team's final two. The celebrities must then make The Choice between each of their two remaining eligible ladies, whisking one away on a dream date and leaving one in no man's land.

The celebrities that will appear on the show have not yet been revealed. Here is a short teaser:

Eva Longoria and NBC Launch Ready for Love

Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) is the executive producer of a new NBC reality show called Ready for Love. Eva is pictured above at the NBC Summer Press Day 2012 with the show's other executive producers, David Garfinkle and Jason Ehrlich.

Eva hand selected selected three men who are committed to finding the right women with whom to share their lives. The three men include: Ben Patton, a financier from Dallas, Texas; Tim Lopez, a musician from Santa Barbara, California and Ernesto Arguello, a philanthropist from Miami, Florida.

The series begins with the matchmakers' nationwide search for the potential perfect mate for each man, and then launches into a romantic journey that will combine in-studio competition and reality show elements. Each week, the women who fail to make a connection with the men will be sent home. In the finale, the quest for love culminates when the three men choose their final three women who together must decide if they'll get engaged, married, or simply live happily ever after. Tastebuds is a Music Dating Site

Tastebuds is a music dating site. The site finds matches for your based on the favorite artists you enter in on the Tastebuds homepage.

Tastebuds says people can see that you have visited their profiles. An incognito mode is available. The site says on its FAQ, "The first thing to remember is that a profile visit is only ever recorded the first time you visit another users profile. Showing profile visits helps you discover new people on the site who have come across your profile that you might not have found otherwise. Also, you only see those visits of people who match the criteria of what you're looking for, e.g. gender, age range."

Here is the first look at Emily Maynard as The Bachelorette. The season will premiere on Monday, May 14. She is getting a second chance at reality love following the end of her relationship with Brad Womack, who chose her on season 15 of The Bachelor. Emily will have 25 men to choose from.

People reports that the season will be shot in North Carolina.

Survey Finds 50% of Men Have Said I Love You by Accident

Glamour interviewed 1,000 men for its annual 2012 Guy Survey. The lengthy 50-question survey covered a wide variety of topics. Men were even asked about Suri Cruise (why?). One of the questions was about whether they have ever said "I Love You" by accident and 50% admitted to do this. Here are the reasons why:

I was drunk: 23%
She was crying: 8%
It just came out: 56%
During sex: 13%

56% of men surveyed also admit to have said "I Love You" first.

Possible Bigamy Revealed on Facebook

A woman posted photographs of her wedding to a corrections officer on her Facebook page. It turns out the man was already married to another woman. The other woman (wife #1) saw the newly published wedding photos on Facebook and was shocked to see her husband marrying another woman. The man married to two women is facing bigamy charges and could face a year in prison. Take a look:

Study Finds Cohabiting Couples are Happier Than Married Couples

A new study published in the February issue of the Journal of Marriage and Family found that cohabiting couples are happier than married couples. The research was co-authored by Kelly Musick, associate professor of policy analysis and management at Cornell's College of Human Ecology, and sociologist Larry Bumpass of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Musick says, "We found that differences between marriage and cohabitation tend to be small and dissipate after a honeymoon period. Also while married couples experienced health gains -- likely linked to the formal benefits of marriage such as shared health care plans -- cohabiting couples experienced greater gains in happiness and self-esteem. For some, cohabitation may come with fewer unwanted obligations than marriage and allow for more flexibility, autonomy and personal growth."

The study followed 2,737 single men and women. 896 of the men and women married or moved in with a partner over the six year study, which focused on key areas of well-being, considering questions on happiness, levels of depression, health and social ties.

Matchmaker Siggy Flicker Talks About Her New VH1 Show

Matchmaker Siggy Flicker talks about her new VH1 show, Why Am I Still Single?. Siggy says she likes to put people on a test date first to try and figure out what they are doing wrong. Siggy says, "You need somebody who is strong enough and brazen enough to tell you what you are doing wrong, but in a nice way."
