So I finally saw The Help on Friday. I'd been meaning to see it for a while, but I really had no one to see it with. So, since I'm all by myself for the month, I went ahead and saw it by myself.

So, what's happened? I took my boards and crashed for a week. I went through orientation for third year and found out that I passed Step 1 (woo!), but other people in my class did not -- which I was not expecting. I'm almost done with my first rotation, and I'm not completely sucking at taking care of patients. Some of our grass in the front yard is dying.

I read the book (The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game) and was wondering how some of the more technical aspects of the book would translate to the big screen. Also, gratuitous use of The Fray in the trailer really didn't help my expectations.

I also ate gelato, which destroyed my Lenten discipline of not eating sugar.
