September 2014, Lighting Technologies moves into their new Moscow corporate offices. Incorporating a wide range of LT luminaires and control systems, the new office represents a blend of design priorities and considerations including best in class luminaires, progressive energy efficiency, optimized comfortable working environments, and ecologically friendly materials.

The new offices are divided into a range of different functional areas such as reception, work centers, meeting areas, cafes and utility spaces. Each zone has its own unique application of lighting including; open spaces with suspended LED luminaries, comfort oriented work spaces, visual enhancement of open spaces like corridors and reception areas, extensive horizontal and vertical lighting, and particular attention to background and work surface lighting contrast. Using a range of the latest and most stylish luminaires from our EMOTIONS line, the new LT offices provide a very comfortable, optimally illuminated working environment.

Completing the new office, LT incorporated its latest set of Lighting control systems, enabling the use of lighting scenarios to create changeable lighting environments. Motion sensors allow saving energy expenditures in spaces where there is no need for constant lighting.

Lighting Technologies Company Unveils Its First Luminaires Smart Control Suite – “Human Centric Lighting”

Interlight-2014, Moscow, Russia – Lighting Technologies LLC introduced its first, innovative, smart control system.

Lighting Technologies, a leading luminaire Designer, Manufacturer, and Innovator, unveiled their first public demonstration of the company’s new Smart Control suite. This “Human Centric Lighting” system allows for lighting scenarios and adjustable color temperature, using color fusion luminaires. For example, by selecting the Summer Time mode, imitating the solar cycle of the day – this lighting scheme selection provides lighting environments ideal for people working in conditions of no or low light.

It is scientifically proven that lighting conditions have a significant impact on human comfort, productivity, and alertness. For example, cold color spectrums energize human performance, but over the long-term, can cause stress. Warm color spectrums, on the contrary, promote relaxation and produce a positive effect on the nervous system, but can affect concentration. The combination of multiple LED modules, tunable to different color temperatures, allows the LT Human Centric Lighting solution to maximize the potential of cold and warm lighting environments.

The actual Human Centric lighting demo consisted of OTX CF (reflected light) and Liner CF (linear) luminaires. Two drivers control the intensity of each module, allowing lamp color temperature adjustments in a range from 2800 to 5800 K. All parameters of Color Fusion series luminaires are managed through a remote control, with several pre-programmed lighting scenarios or manual control. Color Fusion luminaires are characterized by stable optical characteristics and low power consumption.

LED luminaires enable significant energy cost reductions, allowing Auchan to benefit from lower electricity bills and repay this project expense within a year of operation. The newly installed luminaries, LNK LED, are ~ 53% more efficient than traditional technologies. Initial estimates predict electric energy savings up to 47.2 kW a year.

Lighting Technologies Launches a Priority Investment Project in India

Project of Lighting Technologies implemented in the Indian city Dzigani, Karnataka, is part of the priority investment projects for Russian-Indian cooperation. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Mr. Alexei Likhachev, who participated in the second meeting of the Indo-Russian Working Group on priority investment projects.

“The project is a subsidiary of the IGC Lighting Technologies, LT Production India, Pvt with an industrial platform for the production of LED luminaires for various applications. It will consolidate efforts of the Russian and Indian engineers, developers, designers and managers to create and promote energy-efficient lighting based on the environment friendly light sources in Russia and in India” – mentioned in the statement of the Working Group.

The list of the priority projects included such projects as construction of a plant for the production of the butyl rubber in Jamnagar in Gujarat jointly by the Indian company Relayens (Reliance Industries) and the Russia Sibur, organization of assembling production of KAMAZ vehicles in India, the creation of a joint center in India on the basis of the development of the helicopters Ka-226T, organization of assembly production of industrial tractors with the participation of Tractor Plants and promotion of the India’s passenger aircraft MS-21 and Sukhoi Superjet-100.

Information on the project of Lighting Technologies in India:

Plant – about 6 000 sq.m

Production capacity – 60 000 luminaires per month

Number of staff by the end of 2015 will reach 150 persons

The factory will manufacture exclusively LED luminaires for office and administrative buildings, industrial facilities, shopping centers and roads.

The office and demonstration center of the company is opened in Bangalore with the showing space of 450 sq.m. Before the end of 2014 regional offices will be opened in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kerala, and in the beginning of the next year few new ones will be opened in other 3 regions of India.

On November 24-25 the 3rd Annual Middle East Smart Lighting & Energy Summit took place at the Dusit Thani Conference Center, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The event, held under the patronage of the Department of Municipal Affairs, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, boasted over 400 attendees.

Lighting Technologies participated in the event as an Exhibition Sponsor and displayed some of our most popular LED products: FREGAT LED, HB LED, and HB mini.

Municipality Representatives, Architects, Engineers and Industry Consultants visited the LT booth, showing interest in the LT product portfolio, International manufacturing capabilities and Quality standards of Lighting Technologies’ Luminaires production.

Lighting Technologies has successfully operated in the Middle East market for several years, participating in a number of installations in the region, as well as continuously working with our current partners on upcoming project opportunities. Project description:

High-tech warehouse is located in the southern part of St.Petersburg. Warehouse has all the necessary infrastructure for storage and transportation of goods and corresponds to the highest quality standards. Engineering infrastructure of the warehouse provides modern ventilation and air conditioning, water, heat and electricity supply, fire safety, as well as modern illumination.

Among the tenants of the complex are some large distributors of cosmetics, clothes, food products, in particular, such brands as Rive Gauche and Frujet.

Target:

It was required to offer the energy-efficient LED lighting. The feasibility study was prepared for the selection of the equipment in compliance with all the illumination standards for different areas/zones.

Solution:

In the refrigerating shelf storage areas with high ceilings HB LED 76 D30 was installed (suspension length – 10m, illumination – 150lx).

In the sorting zone – HB LED 76 D64 (suspension length – 6-8m, illumination – 300lx).

Loading/unloading area – HB LED 76 D100 (suspension length – 6m, illumination - 150lx).

Rive Gauche area for the main illumination – HB LED 76 D64 (suspension length – 12.6m, illumination – 200lx), storage shelf area – HB LED 76 D30.

Result:

LED luminaires manufactured under the brand Lighting Technologies are installed in the most of the storage areas of the warehouse complex.

Lighting Technologies International Group of Companies participated in the 8th Russian-Indian Trade and Investment Forum, which took place on November 5th in New Delhi. This event gathered together a large number of participants from both sides. The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Rogozin, was one of the spokesmen. He emphasized the importance of integration and cooperation not only on the level of the large investment projects, but also at the level of the medium-sized businesses.
