Especially since Google’s recent dance, it is now more important than ever to get hundreds, if not thousands of varied 1-way, incoming links to your website.

Gone are the days when you could pick a niche market keyword that just a handful of incoming links would be good enough to promote. Now the stakes are higher and the links must be too.

But you can’t just spend all your time and money working on one TYPE of incoming link. That would be pointless now, since Google clearly rewards those with lots of different TYPES of incoming links to their sites.

So if you think you can dominate Google’s Rankings just by submitting 100 articles to the various article directories, you’re up for a disappointment. That just doesn’t work anymore.

So what does it take to rank well in Google now?

Lots of links from lots of DIFFERENT places. Article directories, blog directories, social bookmarking profiles, social networking profiles, blog posts, wikis, blog comments, RSS feeds, Blurbs, video sites, podcast sites, picture sharing sites, file download sites, classified ads, forum posts, mobile site directories, press releases, and Link Directories… just to name a few!

If you were to pick any one or even two types of links off that list above and work hard for a year building just those types of links, it would only be useful enough to promote a site with nearly no competition at all. It’s basically a waste of time.

However, if you build a couple of links that Google sees in ALL of those areas, then you, my friend, have just unleashed a link-love BOMB. Unless you’re competing for a super-hard keyword like Car insurance, then doing this will likely vault your site past your competition to the head of your SERP within weeks!

Hey, that’s not so easy to do though!

Yep, you’re right about that. I have tried automating this personally. Many, many times. It’s so much easier doing one action over and over than it is doing one action for each of those methods once. -Even outsourcing this becomes a nightmare because you have to spend so much of YOUR time to explain all the different instruction sets to your outsourcing team.

SEnuke was designed to tackle this challenge.

But you still have to pick the right Keywords to use.

Let’s face it, if you do all this work to compete for an impossible-to-achieve keyword, you’re still wasting your time. Don’t worry though, SEnuke thought about that too. The application starts out with an extremely handy Keyword Research tool… Just pop in your phrase and it will tell you if your phrase is “Extremely easy” or “not too difficult,” all the way up to “Don’t even bother.” -It very intelligently judges this based upon many factors, including the number of Web 2.0 properties it finds in the search results for those phrases… Which is very good to know, since you want to pick a phrase that has some but not too many Web 2.0 properties listed already. -That way you know you can dominate it using lots of them yourself!

The thing that attracted me personally to SEnuke

As if the sheer power of all these bulk incoming links wasn’t enough, I have to say that the SEnuke team had my number from the start. Their membership levels are a little lopsided… If you subscribe to their smaller level of service, the SEnuke application only allows access to the Keyword Research tool and the Social Networking tool. You do, however, get all the other nice downloads (including 25 PLR articles a month to spin & use) and access to everything on the website.

But the full version, for a little less than twice the price (at the time of this writing) has a lot more functionality, including the video directory submitter, the Social Bookmarking ‘nuker,’ the RSS feed directory submitter, and the brand-new Wordpress multi-User blog submitter too.

You can see a full description of all of these tools on the front page of the SEnuke site; however I’d warn you not to watch any of the films on that page… Their ordering server is slower than Antarctic molasses. Not to be confused with creator Alex Sysoef’s first Wordpress package product, Web 2.0 Wealth Unleashed, (already reviewed here) this new package is really aimed for a different set of people, and is in my opinion much more powerful.

If you have any needs for a powerful blog, (and who doesn’t?) no matter your current state of knowledge on blogging, then I’d advise you to read this review to the end. There are some very eye-opening features in Expert Wordpress, including the awesome 3-step install that literally takes seconds to produce your entire blog installed and fully configured.

I should first point out that Expert Wordpress is only $27, and there is a 2nd Level beyond that which will train you to become a full-fledged Blogging Superstar. However many people don’t need all the extra training and resources included on that up-sell when starting out, so I’m going to keep my review centered on the $27 package itself.

This basic level of membership includes the Installation file for your server, directions to install it, and access to a membership site with lots of free resources, downloads, Video tutorials on many great blogging topics, and even a forum for you to get any and all blogging questions answered 24/7 by experts like Alex and his new partner Dmitriy.

Note: Yes, you will still need a domain and hosting account to use this blog. No blog worth it’s weight in silicone would Ever be popular without these vital basics. Luckily for you, Alex has included a film of exactly where to go and what to do on your server to run the super-easy installation process.

The really good part…

Best of all though, the quick installation pre-configures your blog for you in ways you never would have thought possible. It’s literally ready for you to start blogging with in a couple minutes of uploading to your server, and it walks you through the only things you have to configure, like choosing the header banner graphic and naming your blog.

For instance, people who purchased Alex’s Web 2.0 Wealth Unleashed package (like I did) were not finished by a longshot when we got the blog installed. We had to activate many plugins, configure them, and configure the settings of the blog itself, such as theme changes and the permalink Path for search-engine-friendliness.

In two words or less; Alex’s Experience. Alex Sysoef is a master professional blogger that has a very popular blog in the hardest niche to be popular at: How to make money blogging. I’ve personally learned tons of traffic generation strategies from Alex and as a regular reader of his blog, I’m still learning them all the time.

In Expert Wordpress he’s already done all the hard work for you of choosing the right plugins and configuring them properly for the most powerful SEO advantage possible. If all you do is pick a topic, follow Alex’s instructions, and make some blog posts, chances are that your blog will be the most popular one on that topic before long. I don’t know of anyone else I can say that about.

Then Why is Alex Selling it So Cheap?

The front-end product, described above really is way to inexpensive. If he didn’t have an ‘upsell’ product too I’d say it should cost around $200 or more. It is my guess that Alex feels he can sell more of his upsell product if he lowers the price on the front-end… That way we all get to learn who he is and what he stands for, and that way we’ll feel more comfortable learning how to become a blogging superstar from him.

In this day and age of internet deals, I think this is his best way to get the word out. -And your best way to get a KILLER blogging package for peanuts.

When it comes to building hundreds of quality, one-way links to your site that stick around and actually bring you the Search Engine Rankings that

you need, there is no substitute for a Google-friendly 3-way Linking network like Jon Leger’s 3Way Links, or now the new, inexpensive LinkSerp service by David Zohar… But how do you know which one is right for you?

Well, on the one hand Jon Leger pioneered this area. He invented the 3-way network concept and knows Google’s limitations better than anyone else I know. 3WayLinks was the first such network and offers the most ’safety’ for your links, the largest feature set, and of course the biggest customer base. This is clearly all important stuff.

On the other hand, however, LinkSerp gets the same job done at less than half the price. Furthermore, LinkSerp actually gives you an account with 1 Domain’s worth of incoming links (250) for FREE. -Nothing to pay, ever, just 250 high-quality, incoming links to the site of your choice for life!

There are actually many factors that you must consider before picking one of these great networks to build your traffic with, so it would be irresponsible to choose based on price alone. Joining such a network is a major, long-term commitment that you will be stuck with for a long time, so I’d advise you to read this whole page before deciding which is right for you.

What they Both Do:

In case you’ve never used a 3-way linking network before, I’ll start by explaining the whole process just so you see the sheer power and know what they will all have in common.

All such three-way linking networks that I know of require you to pay an ongoing, monthly fee in order to keep receiving the 250 incoming links to each of your websites. First they allow you to pick some keywords that you want to rank well for, and it splits up your allotment of 250 links towards each of those, making them the linking text of your incoming links. (Which is the real ‘currency’ in Google.)

Next, you put a new page on your website for a links page and link to that new page from your home page. (Just one link, anywhere on the index.html page of your site.) In case you were wondering, yes, you MUST have a hosting account of some kind where you can upload files to use any linking service. They give you the file to upload to your server, you only have to set it up the first time and they take care of everything else.

Then, the links start rolling in at a rate between 1 and 8 links a day. For every 1-way link that you receive from someone, the links page on your site gets a link added to it going to some 3rd person’s website.

Finally, after a few weeks you’ll have 250 one-way, incoming links to that site, and your links page will be linking to 250 other websites, but never to the sites that link to you. This results in a very natural-looking set of links that grew randomly over time, just as if you made them the old-fashioned way.

After using a both of these services for 50 of my websites, Each, I have concluded that there simply is no more cost effective way to get incoming links to my many websites, Period. I’m using these services for life, and I have no fear that Google will figure out a way to put a stop to this… Jon’s eBook that I reviewed here months ago, Search Engine Myths Exposed, sums up very well why this is not likely to ever happen.

If they all do all of that, then what could be so different about them?

Lots of things!

For instance, Jon’s network is very strict about what sites it lets in. At the same time, it offers more features, such as a way to see, at a glance, how well the service is working towards your actual rankings in Google.

Meanwhile, LinkSerp lets you choose more keywords per domain to optimize for, meaning that smaller niches can dominate more phrases in a niche market. Pricing structure, too, is very different between them, so although these two services deliver the same end results, they all need to be chosen carefully to fit your particular business model. I’ll hit all the major Issues one by one for you below.

Number of Linking text choices

This is an issue that probably won’t sway your opinion, but is really good to know. 3WayLinks only gives you 3 linking-text choices per domain, split up 60%, 30%, and 10%. This means that you get 150 incoming links with your first keyword’s text as the anchor, 75 links with your 2nd Keyword’s choice, and 25 links for the 3rd keyword. Overall, one 3WayLinks account allows you to rank better in the search engines for 150 keyword phrases in total.

However, the split for Linkserp is much more flexible, giving you 5 choices. 100 links using your first keyword phrase, 75 for your second, 38 for your 3rd, 25 for the 4th, and 12 for the 5th keyword phrase. That’s a total of 250 Keyword phrases you can rank for in Google with one Pro account.

The end effect is that if you are trying to land only 1-3 keyword phrases for your niche, then 3WayLinks can be better, but if you have more keyword phrases, and almost everyone does, then Linkserp is going to give you more selection… And cast a wider net into Google’s stream of traffic.

Size & Stability of Network

Obviously 3wayLinks is a much larger network with many more active members. Their member forums are packed full of helpful users & 7130+ forum posts at the time of this writing. These members seem genuinely helpful and happy to be there, so I would surmise that this is a great, healthy network that isn’t dying out soon.

Meanwhile, Linkserp is pretty much brand new, and faces the same challenges that all new Web 2.0 sites face, which only time will tell if they’ll survive. Even still, with their excellent pricing structure, I am convinced that Linkserp will continue to grow and eat up the market share for all new webmasters simply because it is just as effective as 3WayLinks for less than half the price.

On the upside though, I spoke with the owner of Linkserp and he’s already gotten well over 1,000 members, so there are no worries about getting your 250 links… There certainly are enough people in the system to cover the needs of all new users.

Content Restrictions

Why in the world would 3WayLinks have a problem with a website on Mythology? Christmas shopping? How to get your wife back when she doesn’t love you anymore?

Believe it or not, those are the very topics of three websites I know of personally that were rejected by the 3WayLinks network. The first two were rejected for being “too Religious,” while the third was “not family friendly.”

Yes, I’ve added over 50 other sites without a problem but every now and then some random keywords (such as the word “God” on a mythology site or “Christ” on the Christmas site) will set off their sensors and they simply won’t allow whole websites in because of it.

To date I’ve had no such issues with Linkserp at all. Their FAQs page reads almost word for word what 3WayLinks’ rule on the subject says, but it appears that they have a human making the decision who is much more sensible.

Reporting Features

This is a pretty one-sided issue… Although both systems tell you in real time how many links are coming into and going out of your site, 3WayLinks has the upper hand on reporting with an excellent link-counting panel for each and every one of your keywords… Whereas Linkserp has nothing like that at all.

The 3WayLinks reporting panel is very helpful to let you know how effective your campaigns are. It tells you how high your ranking position is in Google for each keyword. I feel this is a very helpful addition that everyone should be using, so when I asked about it, the owner of Linkserp, David Zohar, assured me that he plans to offer something like it there soon too.

Pricing

Normally I don’t like mentioning prices in my reviews because they change too often, but I’m making an exception today because it will be major factor for most people.

Since Jon knows his system is the first & biggest, he’s charging $47 per month every month. Yes, that’s a lot of money for some, but think about it this way: That account will drive up the rankings for 50 websites that you own. If each of those only makes $1 a day in AdSense earnings (my average sites in there actually make much more, like over $5 a day, but we’ll be conservative) then that’s earning you $1,500 every month. I’d certainly pay $47 to get back $1,500, wouldn’t you?

It’s when you want to add other domains that you get charged for something. To upgrade from a free account with 1 domain to a “pro” account with 50 domains, it costs a monthly $19.97.

That’s still less than half the price of 3WayLinks, so naturally I expect for everyone who reads this to see the value and run over to grab your free account if not more.

So which is right for you?

Well, the final score appears to be 3-2 in favor of Linkserp. It’s got price, flexibility, and a wonderful lack of content restrictions, while 3WayLinks wins out on the issues of reporting features & network size. Both of those shortcomings I feel confident Linkserp can make up for soon though.

Even still, I urge you to make your choice based on your current & future business plans. It’s all about which issues you feel are important for the operation & growth of your websites.

If you’re just getting started on a limited budget though, you just can’t beat free!

If you have been reading anything I’ve written for a while now, you most likely know that I’ve made the bulk of my money with AdSense farming. (Virtual Real Estate) Yes, I’ve made some money with Surefire Success, this blog, and a few other smaller ventures too, but my main income in this lifetime has and will always be from my large group of 390+ AdSense-enabled informational websites that I have made with unique content, spread over about 100 different niche markets.

All in all, I have about 15,000 pages of unique content cast out among the web right now, all earning me steady income from AdSense, Kontera, and other monetizers. Having someone else create & run those all for me would be too expensive, as would using a cheap software that isn’t powerful enough to create, keep, categorize, upload, and keep track of them all for me.

In short, it is a LOT of work to run a large Adsense farm. While you’re growing it, there are constant hassles keeping up with the domain registrations, creating all that content, dealing with the changing technology, tweaking the site for SEO purposes, tweaking the monetizers to be more profitable, watching constantly to ensure my server is up and running, and of course, getting incoming links to all that content so Google can send traffic to it.

So is it really worth all this work? -You betcha!

As long as I keep adding those little AdSense boxes to my empire over time, my Adsense income will keep growing. I have discovered this to be an undeniable fact. This has been going on for over 4 years now and my growth has been very constant. In fact, I have seen AT LEAST $1,000 in growth each month for this entire year so far! (And that’s just in AdSense… Kontera is growing too!)

So I feel pretty qualified to write this particular review. In my waking hours, I am more often than not tinkering with or testing my sites to optimize my revenue stream. I steadily test and track and test some more, and I won’t brag but I can say it has been very successful for me.

If I had to attribute this success to just one software program, without hesitation I’ll admit it was XSitePro. XSitePro version 1 has been there with me since 2005 and was an incredibly powerful tool I used to create all these websites in.

I could go on all day long about how it has a pure WYSIWYG interface, does SEO work for each site automatically, and is optimized for AdSense farming right out of the box.

But this review is for XSitePro version 2, which is much MORE powerful and has at least twice as many functions and tools!

The Goodies:

For starters, they have completely re-designed XSitePro version 2 from the database engine up so that it can handle much larger amounts of data and run much faster. This was especially good news for me because I had filled it to the point where I could notice a system slowdown often.

But that’s just the start of it. XSP2 adds all kinds of wizards to the interface that very easily allow you to add RSS feeds, Mobile versions, Audio, Video, templates, scripts, forms, and other kinds of content to your existing sites. And by ‘very easily,’ I mean it’s usually just two clicks away on a right-click menu… It couldn’t be better without using telepathy on you!

They really pulled out all the stops and did a complete overhaul for version 2. If you’ve ever used XSitePro version 1, you’ll appreciate how different and more streamlined version 2 is overall, from the tiniest little detail up to the biggest features… And then there are plenty of new features too…

List of my favorite NEW features in XSitePro 2:

• XML Feed Auto-Generation. Yes, your static, plain-old Html files now get their own RSS feeds that others can subscribe too, and all you have to do is check the right box. (And XSP even Pings the feed aggregators for you automatically too!)

• MOBI Site Auto-Generation. With just one more checkbox, a mobile-phone version of your website is generated for you too… Double the amount of your content in seconds…

• Siloing! XSPv2 can now re-create your menu structure in true Silo form for those who understand the SEO benefits of the Silo theory. -Very powerful SEO Mojo!

• Content-release scheduling. You can add 50 pages into XSP one day and have it upload a few pages to your site each day afterwards (or each week, it’s totally customizable) to show Google that your site’s growth is natural!

• Self-Managing Links Section. A directory of links that other webmasters can use to swap links with yours in, upkept automatically!

• BEAUTIFUL new templates. Hundreds of them, all footprint-free and AWESOME out of the box!

• Retrospective Template adjustments. You can trade out templates for your new sites as often as you like, just like if they were templates on a wordpress blog!

• Advanced Payment integration. Sell things through Paypal or Amazon without ever losing your traffic off site!

• A Huge Image & Clipart library for adding professionalism to any site.

• Instant Social Networking tool links. The fastest way I know to put those little “Share This” widgets into your pages.

• An SEO Analysis Suite. XSPv1 had a simple keyword analysis suite that was handy, but nothing like this… It has to be seen to be believed!

This last feature really can’t be applauded enough. The picture here is a screenshot of how the reports are run in default mode, telling you much more than Google’s Analytics can about your site for SEO purposes. It will be a favorite of yours once you start getting constant traffic.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say, after only 1 week of using XSitePro 2 now, that these new additions and more importantly, the new power under the hood in this version make it TWICE or so more powerful and useful for me than Version 1 was.

That means it will enable me to get twice as many links, and point it to twice as much new content, doing twice the job of SEOing the site for me, and so on. So I’m not talking about making only twice as much money that I used to make… Multiply all those doublelings together and you will see that XSPv2 is going to me a LOT richer just by updating my sites from Version 1 to Version 2 format with all the quick & easy bells and whistles. Perhaps 10 times as much!

One Caveat: If you’re Upgrading from XSitePro version 1…

Version 1’s files have to be converted to Version 2’s file format. The converter is included and is free, but it is a painful step that must be done before you can view your files in XSPv2. It took me 2 days to convert my large chunk of websites from XSPv1’s format to XSPv2.

In fact my old computer couldn’t handle all the power and I literally went out & bought a brand new computer to use XSPv2 on. -It was well worth the purchase and now despite all the extra power that the software requires, I’ve got it running much faster than XSP1 ever did!

Who Exactly would I Recommend XSitePro 2 for?

This is the simple part. ONLY buy XSitePro 2 if you own or plan to build a large number of Website pages. More than a hundred pages, or maybe even 500 pages minimum. (Across any number of domains.)

While XSP would do a great job of making a small website very easily and I know you could get a lot of value from it that way, honestly there are other programs that cost far less for such purposes.

XSitePro 2’s power is in it’s ability to handle & help market large numbers of pages… Automating a huge percentage of your work for you in those ways.

So the bottom line on deciding if XSitePro 2 is for you or not has everything to do with your goals for an online empire. If you still think you can be successful with just a few small sites, or even just one website online, then XSite Pro 2 is not for you. Not Yet. It’s for those people who need help automating large amounts of ‘Empirial’ data, and that’s what it took for me to become successful.

At this task, Nothing else online even comes close. Or I wouldn’t have based my online Empire in it.

You get Happar M.E., a new sort of website that is so mind-bogglingly smart & powerful that you start to wonder if is even legal!

The Happar Monetization Engine, or just Happar M.E. as it is usually referred to, is without reservation the most powerful automated website builder I’ve ever seen. So let’s say you feel like making a website about Dentistry or something not too ‘nichey.’ You could either find your keywords and build all of the content yourself for each and every one of those keywords, or you could buy a license to Happar, configure it, and simply upload your LIST of keywords into it’s database and it will start making pages for you like I described above.

You won’t have to create any content at all to get a page in the search engines for each and every keyword on your list! (Of course if you do then your site will be all the better for it.)

“Why would I want them to use a search prompt on my site?”

For two great reasons. First, since Happar M.E. will make the resulting page for you automatically, whipping it out of thin air as it’s asked for, you get to keep your customer ON YOUR SITE. Surely you can see how that beats losing them to an off-site resource, right? They’ll be exposed to more of whatever you’re advertising!

Although very rare, I was afraid of that at first too, but Happar has the perfect solution. Since you don’t want a ton of new pages added to your website all at once for search engine optimization reasons anyway, Happar automatically spaces out it’s postings, as often or as slowly as you choose.

In the meantime you can see in your admin panel what people have been searching for, and far in advance of the questionable phrase being posted, you can simply delete it from your list. It couldn’t be easier.

It’s really easy and works much more efficiently than creating pages one at a time the old way.

If you have ever made more than a dollar online, you most certainly started with some form of keyword research.

The tools out there to help you find profitable or at least high-traffic keywords are now simply uncountable… With more appearing on the radar every day, even for free.

But unless you’ve been using them for years, it’s hard to know exactly what features you need for which part of the job. For instance, sometimes you need a huge list of targeted keywords to build tons and tons of pages with, or even just to throw in your AdWords account to run PPC campaigns on… This tool is NOT what you’d need in those situations.

How it differs from other KW research tools

Not only is there a “Hot Trends” button right there in the software that will show you the top 100 Google hot trends at the moment for you to start your searches by, but I’m more impressed with the Terms of desperation that MNF supplies you with so you can find money-making niches for that aren’t already public knowledge.

For instance, one term of desperation might be “Alleviate.” If you pop in the word alleviate into MNF you’ll get back 100 or so KW phrases that people are searching for lately where they have some problem or symptom that they want to alleviate. -Such as heartburn or a skin rash.

Just that kind of search alone has already found me TONS of great little niches! It’s like taking candy from a baby, really… Because this software lets you find them easily and best of all, cherry-pick your results so you only have to spend the time it takes to find the good stuff, not waiting on the numbers to be churned for hundreds or thousands of other phrases.

Sounds too good to be true… Any Drawbacks?

Well, there is still no way to get search numbers from Google without filling in the captchas every tenth search or so. -This is a google issue though and not at all unique to Micro Niche Finder… Even Keyword Elite requires you to fill those in.

Also, in the current version of MNF (3.0.3) I noticed that sometimes the attention of the screen in Windows XP is difficult to get back after you go do something else like check your email while processing search numbers. There have been a couple of times that the program crashed and I had to restart it for this reason, something that the product maker assures me will be worked out in the next upgrade.

I already know which Niche I want to work in… Can this still help me?

Absolutely. Not only can you simply search your general niche keywords to find great keywords inside your niche, but you can couple a term of desperation with them to pull out the most profitable phrases there too!

The thing that I want to stress here is that no other software out there will give you such a great, highly-relevant set of keywords so easily and then let you cherry-pick the results for finding your best, most-profitable keywords.

Heck, I don’t even know any other tools at all that show you that “Strength of Competition” guage, which I now rely on like no other… With one glance you can know if that keyword is worth your time to compete over or not, making it the most important metric I rely on by far.

With today’s review, Bribery itself has finally been made transparent & easy enough for the average Newbie to use immediately.

Obviously the concept of bribing our readers to take some form of action is certainly nothing new… Internet Marketers have ALWAYS, each and every time without fail, used bribes of some kind to get their traffic.

Bribery online comes in all forms, from articles, to videos, to downloads to even cash… But these bribe machines that my good friend & neighbor Ken Reno invented are nothing short of the purest form of the online bribe.

To truly understand this concept, let’s examine what an internet marketer really needs in order to bribe his or her readers ethically.

First off, what’s in it for the reader?

Short of handing out cash, this machine should ideally facilitate the download of any kind of electronically-formatted document or software package for maximum flexibility. More specifically, it should simply send the reader, after taking the desired action, directly to the page of your choice on which you can do whatever you want to on. (It could be a membership site, your product, a special report, another bribe, an article, a secret, a rating system, a service portal… Anything at all, really.)

But more importantly, what’s in it for the Marketer using this script?

Let’s be honest here… All marketers, and that includes all website owners, really want the same thing. Traffic. If it was possible to trade your downloads directly to Google in return for AdWords traffic, then that is exactly what this script would be doing… But unfortunately, Google doesn’t want your reports nor software.

Bribe Machines are the next best thing. Instead of getting traffic from AdWords, Bribe Machines use other sources of traffic, including YouTube, Digg.com, StumbleUpon, and Technorati to drive people to your bribery page! In fact, since this is a monthly service, there will be many more sources in the future, too!

In Technorati, they have to add the link of your choice to their Technorati “Favorites.” At StumbleUpon.com, it’s a little different, and all they have to do is hit the “Thumbs Up” button in their browser while on your page to get your bribe. With Digg.com, they simply have to be logged into Digg and then Digg the content of your choice.

It’s even more flexible than that, in fact. You have the choice of making them take mulitple actions per bribe, so you could, for instance, make them Digg or Stumble every single article under your AssociatedContent.com profile before they can get to your bribe!

Add to that the way you can stack these bribes and you will soon realize that there has never been such a flexible way for a marketer to get his readers to take the exact desired action that he or she wants them to before.

As I said, it’s really a turning point for the industry. What this means is more HONESTY & CLARITY… Ironically enough.

The Transparency Factor

At first glance I thought that bribe machines, like their names imply, would actually make the industry more ’seedy’ or ’shady.’ I’m sure your first reaction to them was similar… Perhaps you thought that this product would move the “ethical” line a few inches one way or the other?

However if you think about it for a moment, you can easily see how every internet marketer’s business is already more seedy and shady than this product. -Mine included.

We all survive by putting content of some kind out there online and if the customer likes it, there is some kind of ‘hook’ on it like an opt-in form, affiliate link, or some other plan to monetize it that might not be obvious and transparent to a newbie.

Our industry isn’t evil, of course, but it is far from Transparent. All too many new folks online have fallen into traps where they think that some marketer is giving them this content out of the goodness of their hearts with nothing asked for in exchange.

Bribe Machines cut through that totally by asking the user for something in exchange right up front… No messing around, no deceptions, 100% pure bartering, plain & simple.

See? It’s completely straightforward, fast, & harmless. You get what you want, and I get traffic in exchange for it, but now it’s transparent so no one gets fooled about anything. -I feel that all of the marketers with the most integrity will be using this service soon and forever afterwards.

The Downside

Every silver lining has a cloud, and sticking to the clarity theme, this downside is very obvious… You have to own the rights to give something away first before offering it as a bribe.

This could be anything though, including those free things that are always being given away online such as a PLR Pack, some eBook or software with MRR Rights, or even just a short report you write yourself.

There is one other small issue which bugs a few people but I hesitate to mention it.

Some people feel that using Digg.com, StumbleUpon, Technorati & YouTube in this way is a little bit immoral. In some instances they feel it may even be against the terms of their service.

I have no moral qualms whatsoever using those services to promote my business with, as I know that the VAST majority of the people using them are doing the exact same thing. Every blogger there who has a monetization factor on his or her website (& that’s likely all of them) is making more money using these services. That’s how things work online. -And there is nothing at all in the terms of service to say they shouldn’t.

If anything, they may change their TOS in the future to specifically say that their individual service no longer accepts content on a page that uses bribe machines. -They would be within their rights to do so if they feel Bribe Machines are skewing their results… However I would suspect many years will go by before they notice and such ’skewing.’ (Our industry simply isn’t that large.)

If that does happen one day, it’s simply one less service you can use Bribe Machines with. -Keep in mind that the bribe machine website plans to add more services every month!

At the time of this writing, one week after Ken launched the Bribe Machine website, there are only Four services to use it on but several more are on his workbench. He’s told me about
6 others and I can’t wait to get my hands on them. (Especially that FaceBook Machine!)

So, how well do they drive traffic?

So far I’ve only tested out two Bribe Machines, both to give away my “How to Get Rich with Web 2.0″ report that pre-sells Surefire Success.

One is a StumbleUpon Bribe Machine, and the other uses Digg. Since the number of StumbleUpon users who see a web page once stumbled is much higher than a ‘dugg’ page, it would be unfair to compare them to each other… The StumbleUpon page would appear much more powerful but in fact the people who arrive on the page are less likely to read it.

So what I’ve done is tracked DOWNLOADS of my free report from each one. -These are all people who have successfully Stumbled or Dugg my page and then arrived at the “reward” page where they can download the free report.

Within 2 weeks, (Yes I got my hands on them well before they were offered to the public… It’s really good to be Ken’s Neighbor!) I’ve enjoyed the following hands-free downloads:

• StumbleUpon Downloads: 28

• Digg Downloads: 19 *(Note: Some users “Buried” my story too so my Digg count is lower than the number of people who downloaded.)

Keep in mind I only set them up and Stumbled/Dugg them both just once to set them in motion. The traffic has NOT stopped yet, although it didn’t really keep growing exponentially.

Bonus:

All these votes are Backlinks to my website as far as Google is concerned, so I’m already seeing some search engine traffic from all these easy backlinks.

On the first day I got over half that number of downloads, as it seems that both services show an explosion of interest right out the gate. -Each time someone downloaded the report, they were forced to first make my site more prominent by digging or stumbling it… So naturally the growth would happen very quickly.

Then the Digg.com traffic eased off gradually, whereas the StumbleUpon traffic came to a halt almost all at once. -I worried that StumbleUpon removed my listing for a little while, but if you look at my profile right now you can still see it there. (And a tiny amount of traffic does still come from StumbleUpon, even today.)

Now just imagine if I told my whole list to visit such a page. -Instead of just one stumble or digg to start things off, I’d get a hundred or more… Since it’s free I could liekly get a huge conversion if the bribe is right, and be on the first page of Digg.com within minutes!

Let’s also not forget that the level of interest in my report accounts for a lot of this traffic too. If you simply write trash that no one wants to read and give it a crummy eCover graphic, then you shouldn’t expect anyone to want to download it at all. -But if you give away something with more apparent value than my 12-page report there, you really should expect a much better response than the numbers I just showed you!

Final thought

I’m going to start working these clever scripts into my marketing more and more… If for no other reason than to show more integrity in my business…

But if we’re going to be brutally honest here, I’m probably doing it because I finally want to see my face beside the #1 story in Digg.com!

Five days ago I signed up for the Social Bookmarking 50 package (Just under $17 US) to test out this handy traffic generation service.

I did nothing at all other than send HyperBlur the URL to a page I’d like to get traffic & backlinks to, and I then choose my package from their large selection of services.

Early the next morning the owner there, Brent Nicholson, completed the 50+ submissions very quickly. He wrote the tags and descriptions and submitted my page to over 50 Social Bookmarking sites including all the big ones, such as Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Del.icio.us, and Propeller.

Many of these services used “NoFollow” tags, so I didn’t expect many backlinks that the search engines will spider… But about half of them do, so I was hoping for something in the neighborhood of 20-25 incoming links.

The site I used this service on was just a regular, average, even slow & boring Adsense site in a financial niche market. I wanted to test this out on a challenging site, not one that already had exciting content & traffic.

The traffic came in over the next several hours and by the end of the day that page had at least 500 hits to it from this effort alone!

As you can see from this picture in my stats panel, the traffic spike on the 24th alone was a nice plus, and my adsense earnings from that day & site spiked in a similar manner. However the number of backlinks I got from the service was sadly fewer than I would have thought. Almost 20 did appear the first day, but only 5 of of those have lasted through to today, four days later.

I really should have seen that coming. Social Bookmarking services are by nature very temporary. They all have a ‘freshness’ aspect to them that causes older news to roll down and off the front page and eventually out of their listings entirely.

I guess that’s why HyperBlur offers many packages, such as combo packs including Search Engine & Directory submissions too. You can buy a similar package there that includes directory submissions coupled with these for the best of both worlds.

However, if your content is interesting, it probably will have the opposite effect… The more interesting it is, the more people will see it as it’s ‘voted’ for in the various places. Then more and more of them will link to it too, so technically you could get millions of incoming links from the exact package I used.

So who exactly do I recommend this service for?

I thought about it long and hard and have come to the conclusion that it is excellent for people in one of two situations:

1. Bloggers who want to pay others to promote each & every post.
2. Anyone who gets their hands on some LinkBait.

If you’re not familiar with the term “Linkbait,” it simply refers to a chunk of content that is really interesting, like an article, film, ebook or podcast that is so catchy that everyone who gets it wants to tell their friends about it. -Stuff that doesn’t need much marketing, because people will come to it.

Even good linkbait will need to get the word out initially, and if you just created some then you will no doubt want to give it the best start you can by having someone thoroughly submit it around to all the various places that it could go.

So if you are a blogger who wants to outsource your promotional efforts, or you have something incredible to say but don’t have time to say it to enough places, then this is precisely the service I’d recommend for you.

Notice I didn’t say 5% more, or even 25% more… Some of them, like FaceBook, for example, gets well more than 60% more of their new customers from on-site referrals. ICQ spread to over 10 MILLION users in 18 months flat using NOTHING but a powerful tell-a-friend script, like the two mentioned here today!

I bet your business could use a little of that magic too. The problem though, is that the scripts that really work well are very complicated.

Just in case you are wondering what’s so complicated about a tell-a-friend form, I’ll start out by telling you what an industry-leading TAF script or service should offer, just so you get an idea why that silly little tell a friend box on your blog never sends you any traffic.

First of all, it will most definitely need the power to connect to your reader’s existing contact list in other services so you can import their friends easily. Having it tell just a name or two just won’t generate any traffic for your site anymore, you HAVE to make it easy for them to report dozens or even hundreds of their friends at the push of a button.

I’m not saying that I’m against this concept of course, but we all know it feels a little uncomfortable to send your entire email contact database an email at the same time introducing a new product or service.

Let’s face it, if Myspace, YouTube, and Facebook are all leading the way then there’s no reason you shouldn’t follow. More and more people are simply being training by these titan companies that it’s OK to “rat out all your friends.”

So since it’s becoming commonplace, and using this strategy truly is the most viral and powerful way to build a subscriber base, you simply have to grab onto this trend and ride it or live with being the only one in your niche who doesn’t.

Today I’m reviewing BOTH of the options you have available to you at the same time, Viral Opt-in Generator by Ken Reno, and Your Tell a Friend Beta, by Matthew Glanfeild. -Both are well-known marketers whom I already knew for a long time and respect.

When both marketers approached me within the same week to take a look at their product I thought this would be an awesome time to do a comparison.

Other Features that such a service should have are:

• As many import sources as possible. (gMail, Hotmail, AOL mail, etc.)
• The ability to let readers personalize their Out-going Message.
• The ability for you to use it on many different kinds of applications. (Such as on your website, or blog, or when you give out eBooks anywhere, or just to get people who read your Squidoo Lens, etc.)
• The ability to be placed at different places in your ’salesflow.’ (At purchase, while just browsing, after purchase, in affiliate resource areas, etc.)
• Low cost, of course!

I can gladly say that both of these products easily meet each of these criterions. Both have done their homework well, and I see no major flaws in either one of them.

However, surprisingly enough, these two services are very different from each other! When you consider investing into one system I highly advise you to be careful and think about what these differences mean to your business…

Difference #1 – Hosting & Bandwidth

Viral Optin Generator is SOFTWARE that resides on your own server. When you purchase it you may install it on as many domains as you’d like but keep in mind that it will be counted as YOUR bandwidth, all user interaction on your domain and all emails sent from your email server.

If you have known email deliverability issues, VOG may not be for you because the emails sent out will be from your account. VOG also requires that your server be a Linux server with PHP and use a MySQL database as well as an email account. These are all technical considerations that you must consider very carefully, but most hosting providers do in fact supply you with all of this.

Your Tell A Friend, on the other hand, is all run on the YTAF site. It uses their Bandwidth, their resources, and even their email service. One might think it has VOG beat completely on this issue, but there are many people out there uncomfortable with letting a 3rd-party service be in full control of the user Database.

For instance, what if the YTAF site were to go down often? Or worse, develop email deliverability issues of it’s own? The simple fact is that with and 3rd party service you don’t have full control over your data.

So if you’re a control junkie (like I am) VOG clearly wins the issue. But if you’re new and worried about the Technical aspects of these services, then VOG will be more difficult to get started with and perhaps YTAF is a good enough service for you.

Difference #2 – Import Sources

Since VOG is just being released today, this is a very close call. A week ago it would have been a no-brainer in favor of VOG simply because YTAF just added this feature. (I can’t imagine what Matthew was selling before that point… But it’s still in Beta so I’ll try not to judge.)

Since it’s all-important to let your visitor import their entire address book from other services, the name of the game is to be able to access the most, biggest services.

Viral Optin Generator is slightly in the lead on this issue for importing from:

• gMail
• Hotmail
• Yahoo! Mail
• Lycos Mail
• Mail.com

These five services make up a huge amount of the contact address databases on the web.

However, YTAF is not too shabby either. They offer import for:

• gMail
• Hotmail
• Yahoo! Mail
• AOL Mail

The AOL mail option may make all the difference for you. So the bottom line on this issue is that if you want sheer numbers, perhaps VOG is right for you… Meanwhile, if you have reason to suspect that a good percentage of your readers have AOL accounts, then YTAF is the way to go.

Difference #3 – Cost structure

Since VOG is a software product, it must be sold with a one-time fee. (Actually I believe there is an upgrade purchase item to it as well so for optional services not mentioned we’ll call this a 2-time fee.)

YTAF is an online service, still in beta, and is therefore Free for a limited amount of options. To upgrade to their “Premium” service you must pay a monthly fee, and that will make you forms much more customizable and remove their “Powered by YTAF” links from your TAF form. It also gives you a higher commission rate on referrals that you make to their service. All in all it’s not a bad deal but their Free Service is good enough for beginners.

So of the two, YTAF has the better price for most users. That changes for those of us who need more control and do promote it, because the extra commissions are really nice and will be seen by more people automatically.

That’s about it, all the rest of their differences won’t make you change your mind… You should choose one of these two fine services completely on the three criteria above. Clearly, the very most important issue should be the first issue, whether or not you want it hosted for you.

Again, this is a very important issue for all people who make money by getting traffic to their websites. I can’t stress enough how you will surely be using one of these two systems in the future and those who don’t use one will simply not be getting as much traffic as the others.

Even if they BUY a lot of traffic!

I learned that she’s not just about the money at all, she truly tries to help as many people as she can with her newsletter and products. In fact I’ve come to model my business close to her model because we seem to have the same goals in mind.

So what’s in this product, Luke?

Joint Venture Seeker is more than a product. It consists of many parts, such as a bunch of different high-quality videos teaching you all of the Joint Venturing techniques that exist. Another page there has Worksheets and swipe-files for you to use in setting up and executing your Joint ventures, while even a third area has audios for you to download and listen to from some of the greatest Joint Venture speakers around.

However, the most impressive part to me was the extremely interactive networking membership site. This is kind of like Myspace in form and function, but geared towards finding and participating in Joint Ventures.

I was really impressed with it… It was extremely useful!

Once you join and get access to that website you’ll very literally be rubbing your cyber-elbows with many of the biggest and brightest names in Internet Marketing. People like Liz and myself, Frank Sousa, Mike Ambrosio, Chris Morris, Jeff Dedrick, and the JV Queen Herself, Gina Guadio-Graves!

I just love how minutes after viewing all of Liz’s great instructional videos you can waltz in the next room and put them to use immediately with some of the brightest stars in our market.

But I don’t have a list of any kind yet, nor even a product… What can it do for me?

Plenty!
