Well, nobody said Indiana Jones was supposed to be historically accurate. And for that matter, it’s not how real archeology works either. On the other hand, I haven’t seen the movie yet but I can see how Russian Communists could be upset about it.

I still haven’t made up my mind if the U.S. Government still cares enough about Cuba to keep up things like this. Sometimes I think so, other times I don’t. This does seem to keep in the line of U.S. history with Cuba throughout the ages.
