The LX3's firmware 2.1 has been udated by the 2.2 firmware and can be downloaded on the Japanese Panasonic page at panasonic.jp

This small update includes: Firmware version 2.2 (2010/07/29)

LX5 - THE LX5 IS HERE

More then official, here are the first photos of the new Lumix DMC-LX5.
It's not a hudge update. Some points have been improved as we all have requested. (ex: zoom range). Other aspects on the other hand (ex: lens cap) have unfortunately been skipped.

It's not a totaly new camera but a smooth update of an already exellent camera. The million dollar question would be now: What is going to happen with the LX3 photography blog?

Well, the blog has been doing amazing well, even after almost 2 years of existance. So I must thank you all for the audiance and the contribution. The blog is definitely going to stay what it is. The biggest resource platform of the LX3. The upcoming LX5 is probably going to bring some changes to the blog. I will keep you updated. Thanks again and happy shooting.
