“Taste and see” Cell Celebration and creative workshop event 24th March 2012

We are really excited to announce we will be holding creative workshop afternoon followed by a city wide Cell Celebration on Saturday 24th March 2012. Details for the event are still to be confirmed but we are starting to ask the question what areas of creativity are young people interested in exploring. So for the next few weeks we will be taking suggestions from young people involved in cells across Leeds as what workshops they would like to see on this upcoming date. Cell Celebration this Saturday 7pm – 9.30pm

We are two days away from the first Cell Celebration of 2012, and as we’ve mentioned before we’ll be having Dan Brown coming to share with us on the theme of “Hearing and Seeing”, looking at how we can respond and participate in the things God is doing around us. Brand new LYCN website now live!

We are very pleased to say that following lots of prep we have just launched our very exciting new website! Our aim was to create a site that has a fresh new look with loads of features to help support young people in leading cells, pursuing their faith and a site that helps to present the work of LYCN in an easy to digest and logical manner. We will also be looking in coming months to increase the resources available on the site for youth leaders and peer leaders with a new video resource section that we are hoping to launch later this year.

January 2012 Cell Celebration

We are pleased to announce we will be hosting our first Celebration of 2012 in Cottingley, LS11. This will be the first time we have held an LYCN event in this part of the city so please join us for the usual mix of fun, worship, encouraging teaching and loads more. We will be looking at the theme of Hearing and listening, how do we hear what God calling us to and sense what he is doing here in the City. LYCN on the move again!

Many of you will be aware we recently moved along with a number of other LCCT projects to an office in West Riding House here in the centre of town. This tenancy has now come to an end and so over the Christmas period we will be moving to new offices in Ebor Court near the Yorkshire Post hq.
