Este es un país de más de 10 millones de kilómetros cuadrados en el que tienen cabida diversas exposiciones en el ámbito de la construcción y especialmente en el sector de la piedra natural. Para nuestro sector, CONSTRUMAT-CHINA, es una buena oportunidad para presentar nuestra oferta en la ciudad de Pekín y en un entorno multidisciplinar de productos de construcción.
CONSTRUMAT tiene una larga experiencia como instrumento promocional internacional del sector de materiales de construcción y consideramos muy positivo su proyecto de trasladar esta experiencia a un mercado tan importante como es el asiático, dado que facilita al sector de productores y fabricantes de piedra natural una posibilidad más de internacionalización de sus productos.
Pekín y su zona de influencia, cuentan con importantes estudios de arquitectura que están llevando a cabo grandes proyectos, a los que las empresas españolas pueden suministrar piedra natural que pueden cumplir las exigencias técnicas que sean requeridas.
El mercado asiático, y concretamente el chino, continua siendo muy interesante para las empresas españolas que llevan cerca 20 años exportando piedra natural a este país. Desde la Federación queremos animar al nuevo Gobierno español a implementar nuevos instrumentos de promoción que potencien el apoyo a las empresas exportadoras en coordinación con las iniciativas con los gobiernos de las Comunidades Autónomas, para que la exportación siga siendo una baza fundamental en el crecimiento de nuestro Producto Interior Bruto.
Por otra parte, CONSTRUMAT-CHINA da respuesta a la necesidad de internacionalización de nuestras instituciones feriales, siguiendo el ejemplo de otras organizaciones feriales europeas y americanas.”

Stone exporting is the traditional and most important industry in Xiamen, occupying an important position in the Xiamen foreign trade export for a long time. So far, there are more than 1500 professional stone imports & exports enterprises in Xiamen and 6000 stone processing enterprises in its neighboring areas, specializing in producing and exporting all kinds of granite, marble, slab, tiles, special-shaped stone, slate, stone-carved crafts, tomb stones, garden stones, strange stone and artificial stone products. Xiamen has already been the biggest stone trade base in China. According to statistics, one third containers exporting from Xiamen port are stone! In 2010, the volume of import and export of stone through the port of Xiamen was USD 2,940 million. This accounts for 60% of the total volume of stone trade in China
