The lyrics of this song speak so well of what's inside my heart towards my BA. Wow! Call that super cheesy! LOL. But yes, that's the truth and it was a couple of days ago when my BA reminded me of this song because of what he sent me on SMS. He included the words "heart and soul" in it and since then, I've been humming or singing the song either loudly or silently. Hehe. I even posted its chorus on FB as my status message and I would like to quote what my BA has commented...

And so it's been said, the third time's the charm. And in this instance, the third song is the charm because we now have three special songs that are ours. This one; "You've Got a Friend"; and of most special importance, especially to me......(",), our "special", special song, which truly is "OUR" song----- "Kiss Me". But then again, we've shared many songs, with many more yet to share. And as long as I share them with you, they will all be special.

"The Weather Outside is Frightful..."

...but inside it's so delightful." As the weather man says on the news, the air’s getting cooler because of the cold front that's moving in. When it gets cold, it signals that Christmas is getting close and I really can’t hide my excitement for it’s my favorite time of the year, and I know I’m not the only one who feels that way.

One thing that makes Christmas more enjoyable, especially for kids, is the gift-giving. I know happiness can’t only be measured through material things, but even a simple gift can be joyous, knowing that it was given wholeheartedly with a warm heart. It’s the thought that counts, after all, and I do believe the $8 Prescription Zenni Glasses would be one of the best gifts you could give this holiday season, not to mention the best bargain, too. Robinson's Place GenSan

It was finally opened to the public last October 5 but they had a soft opening a few days before that which was attended by VIPs and the like. The grand opening was attended by VIPs as well (but of course) and a few popular local celebrities like Dawn Zulueta who is Robinson's model, Donita Rose who was the emcee of the program and Christian Bautista who serenaded the people with his amazing voice.

There were hundreds, if not thousands of people who celebrated with the celebrities and VIPs during the opening but I wasn't one of them. I preferred to stay home and just wait for any news. I can't stand long queues. I simply don't have that much patience. Besides, the mall isn't going anywhere. LOL.

The mall has been open for almost a month now but I only visited the place once. There were still stalls that were not occupied yet and most probably, they'll be occupied by December. So, i'll just go back there once I have more stores to window shop. LOL. See you there!

Online games are what my nephews and son are so into at the moment. They wouldn’t even think about doing anything else with their free time, and they even skip their afternoon nap to play. That’s how addicted they are and I can’t really blame them since I’m addicted to online games myself, though we do prefer different games. They’re into war games and those fantasy role playing games while I’m into farming and restaurant games. But boys will be boys.

I do wonder, though, if they’ve played Algadon – a free online RPG. With the many games that they play every single day, I’ve already lost track of what games they enjoy. But knowing them as I do, they’ve probably already got into that one since it’s one of the hottest games online now.

Who would not want a search engine that has got it all – a powerful, regularly updated files base, and download opportunities with just about anything that you could think of without the fear of unsuccessful downloading? And since I have to browse sites every single day, a powerful search engine is what I definitely need, and that’s what I’ve found in Queen Torrent.

Today is the day that both our families have been waiting for... the wedding of my brother Erwin and his fiance' Karen. This isn't the church wedding that I've talked about before though since it will be next year yet. What we will have tonight is a simple civil ceremony and will be a family only affair. The wedding is at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the house of Karen's Aunt where their engagement took place too. We all can't wait.

Dreaming of Sailing

I can imagine nothing more fun and exciting than sailing, feeling the fresh ocean breeze on my face on board a yacht. That's yet a dream, but it is something I hope to do in the future. What a wonderful way that would be to rest and relax my tired mind and body. And when I stumbled upon San Diego Yacht Charter online recently, I couldn't help but be jealous of those people in the pictures. They really looked like they were having the time of their lives.

I saw that you can have your wedding on board a yacht. Knowing that my brother’s wedding is just a few months away, the thought of experiencing San Diego Wedding Cruises would be awesome for sure. And I know, superb food is also served there so dinner cruises in San Diego would definitely be great. I can hardly wait to try it all! It will without a doubt be totally fantastic!

But I too have some future wedding plans. Hmmm, me thinks I need to show my BA about the wedding cruises, and my dreaming of sailing just might become a reality...(“,)

My Birthday Presents from BA

I received two gift bags on my birthday from my BA and I actually posted about them before in a kind of trivia. I asked what's inside the two bags and I got answers such as laptop (oh! how I wish! LOL) and clothes, etc. And today, I thought of divulging what's inside the bags, and here they are...

The first bag which I opened in the morning has this box of chocolates. BA knows how I love chocolates and so he gave me these. Very yummy dark chocolates! There's two layers of it and what you see is only the first layer.

And here's what the second bag was filled with which I opened in the evening and right in front of my friends, huh!... The final chapter of the Twilight Saga, "Breaking Dawn" (I've read the first three books. The 3rd book was also a gift from him), a Digital Camera (a dream come true because I've always wanted to have one), and two CDs - Engine (my BA played as guitarist of this band before) and Guy Sebastian (where my fave song "Angels Brought Me Here" is included).

So there you go... the special gifts I received from my BA on my birthday last month but the greatest gift was his presence because he celebrated it with me. So sweet! (",)

Modern and Sleek This Time

It’s been a couple of weeks now that mom has been contemplating of shopping for dining room furniture specifically dining table. Though our dining table now can still be useful despite the worn edges and scratches, mom really wanted to buy a new one to match her newly-bought area rug.

When it comes to furniture, we both love wood but for a change, I was suggesting of something sleek and modern like the one in the picture - glass table and nice white chairs to match, simply perfect for the red rug. I still haven’t heard of mom’s approval yet though. She’s still contemplating, I guess.

Mini Mini Library

It still can't be considered a mini library so I called it, mini mini. Hee hee. Those books are BA's collection and that's not all there is. I wonder where he put the other books. Scattered on the floor perhaps. LOL. Just kidding, BA.

He loves to read a lot and what you see is the proof. And he always reads himself to sleep. He couldn't sleep without reading a book even though how tired he was. I love reading too but I ran out of reading materials here. BA will send those books to me though, all of them. Nah, I'll just wait for that time wherein I get to get those books from that shelf myself. (",)

The Eight-Footed Sea Creature

Among the many sea creatures, octopus is one of the most fascinating to me. Though it looks a little scary, being the only eight-footed sea creature I can’t help but be amazed at how they use their feet in living their day-to-day life.

Recently I come across Octopus.com. As the name implies, it presents articles and facts about the octopus and their specie as a whole. If not for that site, I wouldn’t have known that there are 200 known species of octopus. That is quite a stunning number, and though I know that the octopus doesn’t have bone structure since they belong to the invertebrates, but I wasn’t aware that they have three hearts. That was really an amazing discovery for me.

Let the Games Begin!

Computer games are what’s in with the teens nowadays, and even adults, too. My brother who is in his mid 30’s is not an exception to that. He can play all night and all day. I know computer games can be addicting since I do play too. But I don’t play those war games which my brother is addicted too.

I’ve heard a lot about computer war games, and just recently there’s been an addition to the list: aion. I visited the site and browsed some pages and, wow, it is really interesting and exciting. It is a multiplayer online role-playing game. There are races that you can choose from and their names are really unique which made it all the more interesting.

The game is now in its beta status and pretty soon it will be officially released. The site also presents an aion forum where you can interact with other players in regard to the game. I find it really nice since for a beginner like me, I need to know more about the game and I’m pretty sure I’ll get plenty of good tips in the forum.

Gifts from SIL

My SIL Karen gave these to us when her parents arrived from New Jersey last month. There were chocolates, shampoo, body wash and a Spiderman inflatable toy. Everybody shared with the chocolates, mom had the body wash and shampoo and the inflatable toy was Yogi's.

Tell you what, Yogi was behind the inflatable toy when I took a picture of it and he was laughing the whole time. You can't see him, can you? Well, he was really good in hiding.

The inflatable toy was just about ten inches in width but Yogi was able to squeeze himself at the back of it without any part of his body showing. And he really had a great time hiding. Amusing! Hee hee.
