Just as always, my watch list ended up longer than I had anticipated. It’s okay though since most of the shows I’ve been watching from past seasons have wrapped up. There are the usual magical girl and idol stuff I watch of course, but it seems like there will be more sci-fi and action shows for me to indulge in. Since I’m low on time, I’ve decided to skip specials and movies this time around. Anyway, on to the list!

Definitely

Love Live! School Idol Project 2nd Season [CM] [PV] #lovelive
I was a fan from the very beginning so it’s not too hard to imagine how ecstatic I was when last year’s anime aired. It was basically everything I wanted and more, easily making it one of my favorite shows of 2013. I was quite sad when it ended so I’ve been eagerly awaiting the continuation ever since. I can’t wait to have more adventures with the girls!

Pretty Rhythm All Star Selection [PV]
Pretty Rhythm is another franchise I’ve been a fan of since the beginning. However, it wasn’t until I hit Rainbow Live that it reached a new level of fandom. Rainbow Live is definitely one of my favorite anime ever and possibly my number one favorite ever. I just love it so much. I’ll be looking forward to seeing past characters coming back, but at the same time the premise feels a little weird since I had always thought that Aurora Dream/Dear My Future and Rainbow Live took place in separate universes from each other. Given the stuff revealed throughout the course of Rainbow Live, I have a solid idea of how everything fits together though. Anyway I hope the new characters are just as likeable and relatable as past ones.

Mahou Shoujo Taisen/Magica Wars
I need to make a full disclosure in order to explain why I’m planning to watch Magica Wars. I entered a contest for the series on Pixiv to design a magical girl for the chance to have her appear in the show. As of this writing, I don’t believe the results have been announced and I haven’t been contacted. It’s not like I think I’ve won or anything but I feel obligated to watch the series no matter what. (I’d be extremely happy if Dorothy were brought to life on television though)

Gokukoku no Brynhildr [PV1] [PV2] [PV3] #gokukoku_anime
I was pretty much set to watch this as soon as I found out the protagonist wants to fulfill the dreams of a deceased friend which really resonated with me. The part about the girl that looks like his friend further piques my interest and has the potential for powerful moments.

Sidonia no Kishi [PV1] [PV2] #SIDONIA_anime
I love the whole sci-fi concept especially how the solar system has been devastated and humans hold onto survival. It seems like it has a lot of potential for action and intrigue.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei [PV3 (Miyuki)] [PV3 (Tatsuya)] #mahouka
From what I know, the world seems interesting especially how magic and technology are intertwined. I had thought of reading the novels at some point, but now I can jump in more easily. (Anime adaptations of light novels are my version of listening to audio books I guess)

Nanana seems like it’ll be fun and entertaining in my sort of way. It’s really hard to describe but this seems like something I would really like.

As implied earlier, I enjoy stories where humans are on the losing side. The concept seems interesting and the action scenes look kinda cool. The fripSide and Yanagi Nagi credits also give it a few extra points.

I’m in this for the yuri. Other than that I dunno.

M3 ~Sono Kuroki Tetsu~ [PV] #m_sonokuro
This landed on my radar thanks to the Kawamori factor. He’s only doing the mechanical designs as far as I know so I don’t expect the same sort of goofiness inherent in his usual shows. However, Okada Mari is working on the script and I’m always a sucker for her work.

Lady Jewelpet
I’ve held off on diving into the Jewelpet franchise for a few years but I’ve always toyed around with the idea of watching one of them. The artwork looks really cute so maybe this time I’ll make the leap. There’s a decent chance I’ll love it given my past history with little girl shows.

Honestly the synopsis makes it sound like some otaku wish-fulfillment anime but for some reason I want to watch it. The action looks kinda cool too.

I would have overlooked this show had I not watched the PVs which make it seem more serious than I had expected. I might watch this depending on what sort of dark content it holds.

I quite enjoy Hiroyuki’s style of humor and how he draws reaction faces so it took no time at all for me to decide to jam it in. I also find it kinda interesting how these episodes will be the same length as Doujin Work‘s episodes.

Puchimas!! Petit Petit iDOLM@STER [PV] #ぷちます
Puchimas is so goofy but so entertaining. I can spend a couple of minutes an episode for silly laughs.

Inuneko seems cute and funny.

I’m almost always amused when I hear about some aspect of Anno’s life or work so I think a few minutes a week will be worth it.

Happy New Year! With 2014 around the corner ready to bring the new season with it, I’ve finally gotten around to compiling my winter watch list. When I did a quick look at all the shows for the winter season I thought there weren’t too many I was interested in. After a more thorough look however, my list ended up fuller than I had originally estimated. Sequels, a remake and a new entry in a franchise pad out the list but there are a fair number of new shows I’m looking forward to. This time I didn’t bother to add any commentary to the OVAs/Movies sections since they’re all related to things I’ve watched before. Anyway let’s get started!

TV Series

Happiness Charge Precure! #precure
I probably don’t have to explain why Precure is on the top of the list considering my love of the franchise. Although I have stumbled upon a couple of pictures from the new show, I’m trying to avoid as much information as possible so I can go into it fresh. I’m looking forward to meeting the new girls and finding out what gets reused from previous series and what gets introduced. The 500th episode of Precure should also be the 14th episode of Happiness Charge so maybe it’ll be fun to do something special when it airs. The only thing that sorta bothers me is the name since it makes it sound like some Smile sequel or spin-off.

Nobunaga the Fool [PV1] [PV2] [PV3] [PV4] #nobunaga_tv
I’ve been waiting for this ever since it was announced. It’s been a few months since Kawamori’s last show and I’ve been missing his unique brand of craziness and mecha action. I’m sure I’ll be shouting his name on a regular basis while I watch this (in a good way). I will laugh if it has an Aquarion EVOL end (just because of the two planet thing lol).

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (2014)
I’ve been waiting for this forever too especially since it keeps being delayed. I’ll be happy just for it to actually air. I’ve only seen the English adaptation with its long list of changes so I’m looking forward to experiencing Sailor Moon in a new, more authentic way. Can’t wait to see modern versions of the transformation sequences. Also Momoiro Clover Z lol.

Wake Up, Girls! [PV1] [PV2] #WUG_JP
I don’t really know too much about this but I usually love idol shows especially if they’re about the struggles of trying to push yourself and rise to the top. I wonder how the music and dancing will be.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren [PV] [CM] #chu2koi
I thought the original series wrapped things up pretty nicely and really doesn’t need a sequel but since I enjoyed it so much I’ll watch this anyway. I’ll have my official eyepatch ready to wear when I watch each episode!

Saki: Zenkoku-hen #saki
I’ve been waiting for this since the original finished airing. I’m so ready to see all the characters return. Can’t wait for Saki’s destined match.

Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta [PV] #koiuta
I’m a big fan of aerial dogfighting and this looks like it’ll have plenty. The romance also seems like it could have potential and the political stuff could also be good. I should probably watch the previous movie spin-off, Toaru Hikuushi e no Tsuioku, at some point too to get ready.

Wizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil [PV] #wizardbarristers
One look at the art style and it’s easy to tell this is by the same person as Mezzo and Kite. The concept seems like it could be interesting but what really got me were the cool action scenes. I’m not quite sure what to expect other than that since I’ve never watched the previously aforementioned shows but I hope it’s good.

No-Rin [PV1] [PV2] #のうりん
I wasn’t originally interested in this even though it has an idol since that’s not the main focus. However my opinion started to change after I watched the PV and saw that the story is set in an agricultural school. It was surprisingly entertaining. The second PV with the concert scene was fairly nice too.

Sakura Trick [PV] [CM] #桜Trick
It’s been a while since I watched a series focused on yuri (as a side element or only teased at doesn’t count). Other than that I have no expectations but I need to feed the craving.

Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda [PV] #sekaiseifuku
I have absolutely no expectations for this. The only reason I’m watching it is because I’m strangely mesmerized by some of the costume designs. As such I won’t be devastated if it isn’t that great but it would be nice if it ends up good.

D-Frag! [PV] #dfrag
I wasn’t really considering watching this until I saw the PV and found out that the characters are part of a game development club. Since I’ve had experience working in one before I figured it might be entertaining on a personal level. I’m also curious about how the whole gang thing plays into this.

The time has finally come to be fashionably late posting the list of shows I plan to watch this season. This time around I’ve tried to limit the number of shows I plan to follow due to time constraints. In fact I haven’t even watched some of the things I was planning to from last season. The list is shorter than normal since I decided to forgo a few shows I was only sorta interested in. With that said it’s not as small as it could be but I think it is a much more manageable and might give me a chance to catch up on some older series included stuff from the aforementioned previous season. Interestingly enough the list contains a lot more action-oriented material than usual which might be a nice change of pace. As for the OVAs and Movies sections, I’ve once again omitted writing explanations if it’s obvious why I’m watching something and don’t have anything important to say. I also haven’t listed stuff I have mentioned in previous posts. Anyway, that’s enough of an intro so onto the list!

TV Series

White Album 2 [PV1] [PV2] #wa2anime
Let’s start off with one of my most anticipated shows of this season. It’s kinda strange that I’m looking forward to this so much given that the first White Album wasn’t exactly my favorite show (nor was it something hated it). However I was quite captivated by the messy and tragic way it handled its crazy love polygon. In a way I found it appealing in the same fashion as Kimi ga Nozomu Eien which I both love and rage at simultaneously. Even without that prior exposure though, I’ve heard very good things about the games’ story not to mention the PVs look pretty nice. I also have fate in Satelight when it comes to “music” shows. I wonder if they’ll split the show up into two seasons between the Introductory and Closing Chapters.

Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio -Ars Nova- [PV1] [PV2] [PV3] [PV4] [PV5] [PV6] #アルペジオ
This is another one of my most anticipated shows. Unlike the romantic drama above, this satisfies my craving for military action in particular naval warfare. I’m intrigued by the premise and want to see what kind of crazy threat the Fleet of Fog poses and how they will be tackled. I find it interesting that it looks like the show will be done completely in CG. The vessels themselves look fine but the characters sometimes look a bit weird. I don’t think it’ll be too distracting but perhaps my outlook is tempered by the fact that I really want to see sci-fi ship-to-ship combat.

Kyoukai no Kanata [PV1] [PV2] #kyo_kai
I’m not really sure what to expect from this show in terms of story or characters but the promo videos certainly look pretty. The fight scenes remind me of another KyoAni show, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, not that that’s a bad thing at all. The main heroine seems like a Honya-type character and her blood powers look pretty cool so I’ll be looking forward to seeing her adventures.

Nagi no Asukara [Dengeki PV] [PV] #nagiasu
P.A. Works is another of my favorite studios and this looks like it might be similar to works like Hanasaku Iroha. The visuals look quite beautiful and the soothing music have me excited to learn more about this fantasy world.

Coppelion [PV1] [PV2] #coppelion
The nuclear disaster backdrop coupled with genetically engineered girls is right up my alley and sounds like it could make for an interesting sci-fi anime. The PVs had a little more action and military vehicles than I had expected from the synopsis but it looks like fun. I’ll be greatly amused if this turns into something vaguely resembling Metal Gear.

IS: Infinite Stratos 2 [PV1] [PV2] [PV3] #is_anime
I know that the light novel has switched publishers but I don’t quite understand why it was kinda being marketed as a “reboot” since the anime itself is a continuation. Anyway I’m mainly watching this to see more of Charlotte and to a lesser extent Laura. I found the dynamic between these two the most enjoyable from the original and it looks like there will be some more fun moments between them. I really want to know what the context behind the pajamas and stuff is all about. I also hope there’s more aerial action this time.

Gundam Build Fighters [PV1] [PV2] #g_bf
Based on my experience with Gunpla Builders and other similar shows, I can say I’ll probably enjoy this series as well. The explanation for how the technology works is kinda silly but the lighthearted self-parody nature of it sorta adds to the appeal. I expect there’ll be more examples of this which is perfectly fine with me. My body is ready for Bearguy.

Outbreak Company [PV] #ob_c
This seems like it’ll be one of those stereotypical otaku shows so I’m going to keep my expectations at bay at least for now. I heard the story actually gets serious at some point dealing with topics such as political and social issues so I want to know how the protagonist’s moe knowledge figures into that.

Kakumeiki Valvrave 2nd Season [CM] #valvrave
Honestly it’s not like I particularly want to watch this or anything. However my curiosity is driving me to find out what’s even going on in the series. I just want answers to the goofy stuff that happens but I have a feeling I’ll be trolled again. At least it sounds like it’ll have nice music again.

As a Key fan it’s kinda strange that I haven’t finished watching the precursor. In fact I’ve only watched the first two episodes which isn’t because of disinterest. I rather enjoyed it but as mentioned I’m finding my time being consumed by more serious matters. However I’ll be sure to catch up once I find a good chance.

Aikatsu 2nd Series [PV]
I’ve only watched the first few episodes of Aikatsu! but I really enjoy Ichigo and company’s idol activities so I’ll catch up at some point hopefully soon. (I’m more of a Pretty Rhythm person myself though.)

Ever since I saw the animated promo videos for Pokemon Black and White 2, I’ve been wishing for a more serious take on a Pokemon anime. Although this is only a few episodes in length, it seems to deliver plenty of what I want. I hope we get to see more Pokemon anime like this.

After watching the specials I was really captivated by the strange world and wanted to know more about the unusual gravity and the societies the protagonists live in. The direction looks magical and I can’t wait to see how the relationship develops between Patema and Age.

Persona 3 the Movie: #1 Spring of Birth [PV1] [PV2] #P3_M
I’m interested in this since I’ve played the game albeit as the female protagonist. I wonder how much they’ll end up compressing the story between all the movies though.

Bayonetta: Bloody Fate [PV] #anime_bayonetta
As much as I like the game I’m not particularly excited for this movie especially since its best aspect is the gameplay. At least it might provide a novel way of presenting the very silly story.

This song is a lot more vague and poetic than Prism Sympathy, so we had a much harder time translating it. I think someone else might interpret it differently and come up with a completely different translation for the song ^^”. In our interpretation I find it really romantic, about a girl that made promises with someone but is too insecure to take their hand. Inspired but the gentleness and kindness of the person, she embarks on a journey to find the courage to finally show her true feelings.

It’s finally time for another translation. This time I partnered up with Anya (@anya_fennec / Crescent Lilies). She actually did most of the work and I just helped a little. Here are her thoughts on the song:

I liked this song a lot more after I translated it. I love cute upbeat songs, and the meaning of the song made it even better. It’s optimistic and encouraging, about running forward together towards their dream. They’re certain that each day will be bright.

I’ve been pretty distracted by other things lately so I almost forgot to write this before the season actually started. I wasn’t too familiar with what shows were airing this season until I did some last minute research so I’m surprised by how much my own personal list ballooned. I’m sure it would have saved me a lot of time if I were to write about what I probably am not going to watch but oh well. There are so many things I’m interested in this time that I’ve decided to not write anything for some of the OVAs. I don’t want to waste time and get repetitive by explaining each one is a sequel to something I’m already watching. Even though the number of entries is larger than normal the amount I wrote for each one is pretty small so maybe I’ll go back and expand them later. Anyway time for the list.

Definitely (New)

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya [PV1] [PV2] #prismaillya
This is one of the anime I’ve been most looking forward to this year. I really like the manga so I was so excited when it was announced to get an anime adaptation. I wonder when we’ll get to see material from 2wei. I’m guessing it’ll be a separate series since this is only going to be 10 episodes long.

Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui! [PV] #ワタモテ
The manga is so hilariously painful to read that I can’t help but laugh weirdly during each chapter. The anime artwork doesn’t look quite as deranged as the manga but Kitta Izumi’s performance as Tomoko more than makes up for that.

Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou [PV1] [PV2] #geneitaiyo
The artwork looks interesting and the powers look kinda cool. The main thing that drew me to this besides magical girls is the solving mysteries aspect. I wonder what that will be like.

Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu [PV] [CM] #C3部
A girls doing club stuff anime. The CM looks nice and I think the survival games will be exciting and fun.

Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou [PV1] [PV2] [PV3] #犬ハサ
This is another show that caught my attention with its mystery aspects. However everything else also has its own merits and has me interested for completely different reasons. The PVs look absolutely wacky and I want to know how it all comes together.

Servant x Service [PV] #鯖アニメ
After reading the synopsis my first thought was that it sounded like Working! so I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is also by the same author. If it has a similar sense of humor I’ll be satisfied.

Gin no Saji: Silver Spoon [CM] #ginsaji
Similarly my initial interest in this stemmed from it being a creation by the author of FMA. I also couldn’t help but make comparisons to the other agricultural show Moyashimon. The PVs seem to indicate that it’ll have a similar sense of humor which is absolutely okay.

After watching the PVs however I can see why everyone’s ovaries are in danger. Those muscles are too intense. I’m sure this will sort of make up for the lack of guys in all the other shows.

Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS [CM] #rokyubu
Loli basketball was one of my favorite series from 2011 so it’s no surprise how much I’m looking forward to the sequel. Sure there are moments of questionable material but there are a lot of sweet things in the show. Also Mokkan is so cute.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear G: In the Distance, That Day, When the Star Became Music… [PV] #symphogear
It’s hard to explain but I’m looking forward to this more than I should. Even though the execution of the original wasn’t the greatest I loved so many of the ideas and designs from it. I guess I can’t resist the combination of idols and magical girls.

Genshiken Nidaime [PV] #げんしけん二代目
For whatever reason it took me a while to warm up to the original Genshiken but by the end I was a fan. It’ll be nice to visit the clubroom again.

Rozen Maiden (New Series) [PV1] [PV2] #ローゼンメイデン
Judging by the PVs it looks like this will be a remake of the series. I’m okay with this since it’s been almost 7 years since Ouvertüre came out and almost 9 years since the first one aired. I just hope we have a real conclusion this time.

Monogatari Series Second Season [PV1] [PV2]
It looks like this will be starting with Nekomonogatari Shiro but I have yet to watch Kuro. Hopefully that will get me excited for it.

Tamayura ~More Aggressive~ [PV1] [PV2] #tamayura
I’m guessing the More Aggressive in the title refers to how the show has evolved into a girls do club stuff anime or something. Much of the story took place outside of school so it’ll be interesting to see what happens after creating the Photography Club.

Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi [PV1] [PV2]
I really love the title of the series and the concept seems like it could have potential. I also love the music in the PVs. I get the impression this might be one of the more serious things I could end up watching in a good way.

Choujigen Game Neptune: The Animation [PV1] [PV2] #nep_anime
I’ve been interested in the Neptunia series ever since I found out about the first game but I have never had a chance to play any of them. Since this is an original story I figure this will be a good place to start.

Gatchaman Crowds
I remember watching some of the original Gatchaman when I was a lot younger. I have no clue how this connects to that if at all but power suits always have the potential to be cool.

I’m not really sure what to say about this other than it seems so cute. It looks like it will be a very warm and fuzzy anime.

I might end up watching this eventually if I get around to the previous series. It took a couple of episodes for me to warm up to the first series but I soon found myself constantly laughing at all of the absurdity.

Nothing in particular stands out but I do like the card system and it looks like it could be cool and cute.

There seems like there could be some sorta yurish moments but I have no idea. I guess in any case there will be silly antics that could be amusing.

I usually tend to love these types of shows but it’s hard to tell how much I’ll like it without a more concrete idea of what sort of club activities happen.

I still haven’t gotten a chance to play any of the Corpse Party games so I hope this can serve as a temporary substitute. I’m really curious about what’s going on. Also don’t watch PV3 if you’re squeamish.

I’m interested by the fact that the main character gained the potential to be a competitive cyclist through sheer dedication to buying otaku junk in Akiba. If it interests me enough I might watch the TV version in the fall.

At long last it’s time to reveal what I’ll be watching during the upcoming season. Just like the previous season it looks like it’ll be a nearly even split between watching new shows and watching sequels. Overall my level of excitement is roughly the same as last time. However somehow my idols got replaced by robots and as a whole this season may be more action-packed than last. Except for TV series I’ve decided to omit things which have already started (I’m looking at you RDG). Anyway time for the list!

Sequels

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S [PV] #railgun
Railgun was one of my favorite shows while it was airing and I have been craving more ever since it ended. The character interactions were quite entertaining and endearing. Speaking of which I found it amusing when me and the 3 friends who were also watching it at the same time ended up having different favorite girls. My pick was Kuroko of course. My body is so ready for more Onee-sama loving and fripSide. Of course I also enjoyed the other more serious Judgment desu no material so I can’t wait for that either.

Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. [PV1] [PV2] #oreimo
Oreimo was another show I enjoyed while it was airing. It wasn’t perfect or anything but is was funny and full of feels. I really loved when Kyousuke put his neck on the line for his sister. I’m also interested in seeing more of the game club material from the true end specials especially since that’s one of the things I really relate to. I don’t have too strong of a preference in regards to final relationships but with that said I may or may not need life counseling afterward depending on the finale.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W [PV1] [PV2] #nyaruko
I’m sure everyone got tired of me talking about this last spring. Suffice it to say I enjoyed it a good amount although at least to me the last few episodes didn’t feel quite as strong as the first ones. I’m not sure what to expect exactly beyond more outragous gags which will evoke reactions from me (in during baby-making).

Hayate no Gotoku! Cuties [PV]
I haven’t actually finished the previous series just yet so I’ll probably end up watching this a little late. As such I don’t know how it’ll follow up but I guess there’ll be more girl troubles.

New Series

RDG: Red Data Girl [PV1] [PV2] #RDG
So far I’ve watched the first two episodes but in low quality. My initial interest came from the fact that P.A. Works was animating it so at first I didn’t know in great detail what to expect. However after watching a bit of it I can say confidently that I am intrigued. In terms of premise it really reminds me of Sasami-san if it were a lot more serious. I’m curious to find out more about the nature of RDGs and the creepy conspiracy thing around them.

Shingeki no Kyojin [PV] #shingeki
The synopsis was what grabbed my attention at first. The setting with the last remaining humans hiding inside a walled city from giants sounded like it had potential and the trailer seems to confirm that. The giants rushing into the city and eating the humans looked intense and kinda terrifying. The hip-mounted grappling hook launchers seem like novel mechanics which look like they’ll make for dynamic and cool action sequences.

Suisei no Gargantia [PV1] [PV2] [PV3] #gargantia
Gargantia is another show which attracted my attention with its synopsis. I’m curious what will happen when the war in space collides with the peace of earth. Err, I thought I had more to say about why I’m interested in this but I’m at a loss as to how to explain it. Anyway I’m ready for Urobuchi to troll me.

Kakumeiki Valvrave [PV1] [PV1.5] [PV2] #valvrave
Honestly from the synopsis it sounds exactly like a Gundam series and the fact it’s made by Sunrise only strengthens that case. However the design of Valvrave itself is pretty cool. I’m also excited that they got some artists I like to perform the theme songs. Mizuki Nana and angela! I know there’s a lot I’m unsure about so I’m not too fired up just yet but I can’t get the show out of my mind for some reason.

PhotoKano [CM] #photokano
I’m mainly interested in this because of its status as the spiritual successor to Enterbrain’s KimiKiss and Amagami both of which I enjoyed for different reasons. The thing I’m most curious about is how the show will be formatted. Will it be like KimiKiss showing everything as a single storyline or will it be like Amagami‘s multiple routes for each girl. KimiKiss was better for drama but Amagami had a lot of pure albeit silly entertainment value. I doubt it’ll follow the Amagami method though considering the number of girls and the 12 episode count unless they make another season. The trailer doesn’t do a very good job of selling itself to people who have not already read the manga so I’m not as pumped up as I could be. However judging from the synopsis the psychological aspects stemming from the situation could be interesting.

Why does this get its own category? Unlike Hayate which I think I can catch up to quickly, subs for the original Pretty Rhythm are so far behind that it may be years until I reach this.

I found Yama no Susume more enjoyable than I initially expected especially considering it was one of those short anime. I’ll gladly take another episode.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kaku: Outbreak [PV]
I’m ready to return to the world of Hinamizawa circa Showa 58. This is based on one of the short stories from the series that I’m not too familiar with so I’m really excited to see how things play out. Kira had it’s own brand of entertainment but I’m ready to step back into the more serious material.

The synopsis for this movie sounds so much like Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai that I can’t help but be excited. However it has it’s own things going for it to set it apart. The relationship between the leads looks promising and I am really curious how they’ll deal with the bullying aspect.

Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu [TV Spot] [PV]
I don’t want to get into spoiler territory but I will say I’m excited to see Okabe and the other lab members back in action. El Psy Congroo!

Saint☆Onii-san Movie
I watched the first episode of the OVA and found the everyday antics of Buddha and Jesus to be quite amusing. With that said I have no clue what kind of overall story this movie will have but I’ll be okay as long as it delivers in the comedy department.

Overall I like Shinkai’s works which means I’m looking forward to this too.
