Cerulean RX and the iPhone 3GS

My in car iPod connection just got a whole lot smarter recently. It's frustrated me for a while that the iPod dock connector that's fitted into my car stereo wasn't fully compatible with my iPhone, being a cable and connector that was only compatible with older iPods it wouldn't charge the iPhone when docked.

iPhone 3G DIY repair

I've taken ownership of my step daughters damaged iPhone 3G. A cracked screen and a missing power button is going to be expensive to put right. However, I may attempt a DIY job by purchasing the parts separately and trying to take it apart and repair myself.

Internet Tethering

Being away on business this week and stuck in a hotel with no Wifi I took the opportunity to enable Internet Tethering on my iPhone. However it’s taken o2 so long to enable that I’m almost done and ready to head home.

First visit to the Apple Store, Eldon Square

Due to unforeseen circumstances I couldn't get along to the much anticipated Apple Store opening in Eldon Square, Newcastle last week. I did however, finally get to take a look around today and perhaps the most striking part of the store is the huge Apple Logo that stands out as soon as you turn the corner into the new mall.

Sorting Movies in iPhoto

I've been meaning to post about this nice little feature for a whlie. I have a reasonable amount of movies that are stored within iPhoto but they are just scattered across the many photo albums and events and they prove difficult to see. I could never find a way of consolidating all those movies into a single view without actually pulling them out of iPhoto altogether and simply storing them in the Mac's Movies folder. I ideally want to keep them in iPhoto for it's tagging features….and I've recently found there just a way to do it.

Cutting down my internet footprint

I got quite carried away over the last 12 months, registering for every social networking site there was at one point but i've taken recent steps to reduce that, closing accounts and securing profiles and generally not openly sharing as much information about myself throughout the web.

Attending Crowded House – May 2010

It's with great excitement that we've managed to get hold of tickets for the upcoming Crowded House tour at Newcastle City Hall in May of this year. I've seen Neil Finn play live in many forms over the years, as both a solo artist and with his brother Tim as the Finn Brothers so to say I'm an admirer of his work would be an understatement.
