That blog was a great avenue for me to share my ideas and experiences in Domino Ajax, nee DHTML, development techniques. It was fun and worked really well for me.

When I joined IBM in 2006, I shut down the server that was hosting the blogshpere database (thanks Declan!). I was looking for a blog host that was going to be easy to setup and maintain and possibly be a better vehicle for promoting myself and my work as an IBMer. I landed at Blogger and have been happy there for the past 5 years.

Working as a Product Manager on IBM's Social Software team, I've been feeling the need to move to a Connections platform. Inside IBM, I've been very active with Connections and I've noticed that my external use of social software and my blog has been on the decline. Some of this was due to work, some due to a new addition to our family, but I think mostly it is an inability to focus on too many streams. Looking at what IBM now has available in developerWorks and the ibm.com Community, I started my plans to re organize myself and to be more available on external social networks, offered by IBM and otherwise.

I'm excite to start anew and hope that you enjoy and get benefits from what I do here.
