Good Morning World! It’s Emma again, bringing you today’s Daily Jam. I don’t know much about this band at all, and know no other songs of theirs. All I know is this song is catchy as hell and it’s been a firm faveroite of mine ever since my friend showed me it a year ago. One of those feel-good song’s that never get old. I guarentee you after the 4th or 5th time listening, you will be shouting out “HEY!” along with the song. Enjoy!

Daughter – Run

Hey folks! I’ve kindly been asked to start posting for Mack of Hearts on a regular basis. I’m Emma, and I’d like to share with you all the wonderful Daughter aka Elenor Tonra. Everytime I hear this song I’m chilled to the bone, her voice is haunting. I am a big fan of Lucy Rose, but after discovering Daughter I’m left wondering why this girl isn’t getting any of the Hype that Lucy is! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this dimond as much as I do. Her Demo EP is a free download and has this song included, you’ll find the link underneath along with her facebook, soundcloud and youtube accounts. Heal – Party Roads

You heard it here first!  Heal has a captivating sound that instantly had me hooked and left me wanting more! This is a great find on a Saturday night! After listening to listening to this awesome track you NEED to go and check out the rest of what Heal has to offer! I can’t wait till they make their way up to Detroit (2012?) so I can check them out live! I can only imagine the intense amount of energy that would be put out in a live show! I’m looking forward to finding out someday hopefully sooner then later!  One of my  favorite new electronic finds of the year!

Lucy Rose – “All I’ve Got” (Live Acoustic)

What a voice! Found this great acoustic jam last night right before calling it a night. I was so happy with what I found I decided to call it a night while I was ahead   I headed over to her soundcloud after watching this a few times and was so very happy/excited to see that there were a bunch of remixes for her song “Middle Of The Bed” on her SC,  the original is also worth checking out (see links below)! Watch for the release of her record early 2012!
Unfortunately, this is all I have time to post until much later this evening. I’m back to work as an extra in a really big movie! It’s very exciting and I’m thankful I was lucky enough to get called back! I’ll do my best to keep up with posts, I promise, though I will not be able to post anything like I have been in the past week. There is plenty of links that should hold you over and Anne and I will be keeping up with our Farmington2Flagstaff posts! I’m off to start getting ready for the long day.

Brother & Bones – Gold and Silver (Live Acoustic)

This live acoustic performance from the BBC studios juuusssstttt might  grab your attention Brother & Bones is an five piece band with a acoustic guitar begin the centerpiece. This is just one of the six videos on their official youtube account, and happens to be the one with the fewest hits among five other goodies for everyone to check out! . Their first official music video for the song “Hold Me Like The Sun ” premiered last month. You aren’t too busy, right? Well… I have to recommended you taking a break from the break  that you’re currently on or if you’ve already posted up on the coach with your laptop for the day and are looking for a break from being bored and all that facebooking you’re doing and do yourself a favor and check out a great band with a sounds that not only delivers but will leave you wanting more. I.

 She walks home along the train tracks; school,
teachers and counselors all distant now, all seem less

kind, the long blue lines of metal sing the sun’s song,
sad notes held from town to town to town

she lays along that blue black track practicing,
listening to the stories that curve, that have died

within those ties. She knows no other destination.
Even when she tries, at night, to imagine travel

or success or love, the train yards become playgrounds
of rust, gentle and rough at once, she lifts her arms

pressing her chest against the dark metal hissing
at her like a blue engine lover. She laughs

 in railway rhythms swallowing vowels
like another caboose pounding through downtown

 at noon, she weeps like a faraway whistle at midnight
imagines the tune wandering east, loving its certainty.

II.

 When she rides as a mystery passenger next full
moon, she’ll glimmer on the grill, she’ll go

 somewhere, she’ll run along that opalescent path
with a plan, then wait for darkness, wait for the

 train to nod, tell her “now,” nudge her across the stories,
across the blue tracks. Read the ticket. Her destination
will         be         right         there.

Best Friends – Wasting Time (2011 December Demo)

I came across these guys over the weekend, what a weekend for new music! Best Friends out of Sheffield and have already have one release under their belts with the Best Friends EP being released earlier this January. Luckily for everyone who loves new music and up and coming band/artists, Best Friends hit the studio this past weekend and emerged with this song that just hit their media players a couple of hours ago. This song is guaranteed to get a bunch of playtime in a couple different new playlists I have going on my mp3 player over this holiday season to and I’m sure they’ll make their way on to a bunch of yours:) Love what you hear? Head on over to any of the links bellow and show your support for these guys! The only had less then 30 followers on soundcloud when I was lucky enough to click my way over to their music,  Would be pretty cool to see them finish of 2011  with at least double that Enjoy!

Four Tet – Pyramid

I hope you’re ready to move around a little .I’ll put a bid in on this being of one the best music video for 2011? I mean, come on. Four Tet is a Dj/producer out of London. This is one of the many great tracks of his mixed album ” Fabriclive 59“, that was just released this past September. It’s a mix of this song and several other tracks by various artists, also work checking out.  This video totally made my night, so creative
