Apple has reduced the price of the SSD (Solid State Harddisk) MacBook Air. These beauties used to cost of $3,000 and now they are a touch about $2,500. They reason for the cut is two fold, one was for the Core2Duo upgrade, now costs $100 instead of $200 and the upgrade to an SSD costs $599 instead of $999 for 64Gb version. So now for two and a half grand you can get a MacBook air with 1.8GHz Core2Duo processor and 64GB SSD. We have some MacBook Airs reviewed if you are interested in reading customer feedback.
