I can’t believe this time has passed so quickly. 3 years ago, I welcomed Miss Adisyn into our lives. She is the most lovable, independent, caring little person.

She loves her buuby, baby dolls, and playing outside. She watches Dora everyday, and loves to play with make-up and lotion. =)
She is the perfect little girl, and I thank god for her everyday.

I have had the opportunity to download and use MyMemories Digital Scrapbooking Software.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved scrapbooking. Placing memories inside a book that can always be looked at again and again is priceless. Not only looking at them yourself, but being able to pass these down to your children when they are big enough.
My grandma is the one who got me interested in scrapbooking. She saved EVERY single picture and made all her kids and grandkids scrapbooks. She made My kids several. They were all so beautiful and meaningful to me and I love them to pieces.
When I started scrapbooking myself- I realized that everything was so expensive. Just the books to fill up were close to $20. Then you have to buy the paper packs and all the embellishments- Oh, was my head spinning.
When I first noticed Digital Scrapbooking, I was all over it. I wanted to be able to create those special memories for my children as well, and didn’t have the funds to do it traditional. Not only is digital scrapbooking cheaper, but you can REUSE the papers and embellishments.
When I was introduced to MyMemories Suite I was a happy camper. The best part about digital software is that you don’t have to print the pictures to be able to use them. You can just take pictures you have on your computer or memory card (that you can insert into the computer) and use them.
I love that it is less time consuming than regular scrapbooking. You don’t have to clean up all the paper shreds that come from cutting all the paper. It took me forever to get all of it out of the carpet (when I did regular scrapbook).
The MyMemories Suite didn’t take very long to download and doesn’t take up much space on a hard drive. It is easy to work and doesn’t take long to figure stuff out.
I haven’t been able to use ALL the different choices within the software, because it is so well developed and I haven’t had a lot of time to just sit down and play with it.
It comes with pre-made layouts that you can just paste your pictures in and change the embellishments around or add more.
Or you can download TONS of free digital scrapbooking packs and embellishments from their website. They also have kits for sale starting at .99 in the dollar store.

When you download the software you have the option of signing up for newsletters. I would recommend you do so. This will let you know of the newest freebie packs as well as new kits that are being sold for money.

I really like how they have SO many different layouts and embellishments. It isn’t hard finding packs for boys as it usually is. They have so any different cute ones, it is hard to design. I love looking through the site and imagining putting the packs together.
Since it was Adisyn’s Birtday and Aidan already has a million billion scrapbooks from my grandma, I decided to make Adi one.

This was a template that was already on the software. It was so fun because it was easy. You just click where the pictures are supposed to go and then upload your own. I love the papers and embellishments, it fits her so well. I couldn’t have PURCHASED one that fit her better. =)
You can add embellishments, text, word art, and background pages where you want them. You can rotate the text to fit inside embellishments, and add wordart at the top of the page. You can customize text and colors.
I love every THING about it. I love that it isn’t that expensive. It’s only $40 for the software, so it will pay for itself within the first couple of months if you usually scrapbook a lot.
This helps me because I have a ton of digital pictures. When I mean TONS, I seriously mean it. Now I can go back through all the stages I didn’t get to make scrapbooks for and make them now.

I have always wanted Vinyl Lettering. I have seen so many cute quotes that could accentuate my walls. I have seen many different choices in magazines and on different blogs.
Although they were all so elegant, I wasn’t sure about purchasing. I live in an apartment (I don’t own) so I thought if it had issues coming off the wall I would be in some deep water.
Design With Vinyl clearly states that it is EASY as pie to peel off. You place it on your wall and when and if you want it off, all you have to do is take a blow dryer to it.
So I thought, Why NOT try it? It was exciting to see all the awesome quotes and pictures to choose from. They had TONS. It took me quite a while to choose. After choosing which you would like to have, you also have the choice of size and color.
So you are getting an extremely customizable wall quote or picture that is easy to put on and take off.
I ended up choosing 2 wall quotes ($30). I got the remembrance quote for my grandmother.

I posted 3 pictures because my flash wasn’t getting the whole picture every time. It was blinding some of it out.
I really love this. This is a great way for me to pay my respects to my grandma (who passed away 1 year ago) while teaching my children to remember her. We are going to make a grandma collage and put her pictures with the kids around it.
I love how it has the cross laying sideways with flowers entwined. I meant to put 4-29-47 to 2-5-11 but it only got the birthday part.
The second quote I chose was “ A Leader Can’t Lead Until She Knows Where She is Going”. I love this quote because I have always wanted to BE someone and DO something with my life. Now that I have my niche and found what I enjoy in life, I love having the quote to remind me everyday how far I’ve come.

You can’t really see it because I chose Lime Green as my color. I can see it at my house, It’s just harder to see through pictures.

I had Adam and his friend install these, because I just wasn’t pressing hard enough. Adam did it, and it was no hassle to him.

I really love the designs for the kids room. As soon as we move into our new house, I will be buying some of these. So much easier than putting up wallpaper that will have to be torn down when they get older and grow out of.

I also love the mother/mom ones, and secretly want them all.

Pricing is amazing on these wall decals. I expected them to be pretty expensive- but they aren’t. They are based on size, so if you choose a small/medium one, you will pay less than if you chose one to go on the entire wall. Quality is top-notch. They have been on my wall for a month with no peeling, no broken letters, and they look amazing.
When people enter my apartment, it’s the first thing they see. I had a neighbor say “Oh, my god- where did you get those?” She wanted a remembrance one for her son who passed away 3 days after birth.
Whether your looking for an inspirational corner, a remembrance spot for someone in your life, or just want to spice up your home, Design with Vinyl is the place to go.

My Review:

For the first couple of years after I had Adisyn, I used Barrettes. Or I should say TRIED to use. She wouldn’t keep them in her hair. No matter what size, shape, or color. It would end up lost in her toybox because she would yank it out within seconds.

I eventually had to end up cutting her bangs although I didn’t want to. It was literally messing with her eyesight. They were long enough to reach her eyes, but not long enough to be tucked behind her ear securely.

So, when the clips, hairbows, hair ties, and a million other products didn’t work- I started looking for hair products to keep her from being cross eyed.

There has always been a limited choice of products to style Aidan and Adi’s hair. This frustrated me to no end. Even though they did have SOME products that were natural, most didn’t do the job they were supposed to do. Either they left hair greasy or just didn’t work at all. Talk about one disheartened mama.

Detangler

The bottles are so sleek and cute. They look so amazing sitting on Adisyn’s Bath Mantel. The brown and lime green mixture with the cute “peas” on the bottle just give it a very sophisticated yet adorable look.

This is a lightweight detangler, not weighing down or making hair look oily. It goes a long way. A couple of sprays and your good to go. It can be used on wet or dry hair, which is a plus. Every time Adisyn wakes from a nap she has HUGE tangles that she hates for me to brush out.

I was having to wash her hair 2 times a day. Once after nap, and then again at bath time. Now I don’t have to fight with her to drape her head over the tub so I can wash it.

All I have to do is spray it in. I wait a second for it to work it’s magic on the tangles, and then brush them out. No more screaming, crying, and acting like she has just had half of her hair ripped out of her head.

It has a plant based formula that isn’t tested on animals. It is chemical free, which means it doesn’t contain parabens, sulfates (SLS), petrochemicals, or phthalates. (Click on the names to learn more about how these chemicals can harm your children) and why being “green” is better for your health.

The ingredients and how they work: Vitamin E, panthenol, and aloe moisturize petite strands, while silk amino acids seal in moisture and strengthen hair.

This detangler smells good enough to eat. Yum, blueberries.

Hair Balm

This product is great for curly or straight hair. It helps keep straight hair smooth and from having hair all over the place. It helps curly hair from knotting up and looking like something from the Tarzan movie.

A little goes a long way with the balm also. All you need is a tiny amount on your finger. You then rub it in and see the AMAZEMENT. Adisyn has straight hair, but she usually messes it up ALL the time. If I fix it a certain way, she will go above and beyond to make it look like her hair was never brushed. (Hats anyone?) LOL

I don’t have to deal with that anymore though. I just dab a little in her hair and she never messes it up. I think it’s because she see’s me use hair products and she thinks she is like mommy. I love that she now looks like a little girl and not a caveman.

She also cut her hair about a month ago while I was washing dishes. I thought she was playing in the bedroom, until I discovered that she had snipped the front of her hair to pieces.

Her birthday is here and I seriously didn’t want to have to get her pictures taken with that big gap in the front. It looks horrible. It wouldn’t fit in a pony tail because she cut it very short. Now I can just rub a little on her hair, place a clip on it, and it stays put. The tiny hairs would fly away before. Slipping away from the clips. NOT NOW

I am a worry free mom, ready to bring on the presents, cake, and a bunch of little kids. Hair problems are the least of my worries. =)

My Review:
The Amazing Mat, it isn’t your ordinary welcome mat. It is an anti-bacterial adhesive mat that traps dirt, germs, and bacteria off your floor. It traps the particles inside it’s sheets so your floor is healthy. It has 30 “sheets” on top of the mat. When the top sheet get’s dirty, you just peel it off to a clean sheet.
Winter is here, has been for awhile. In Kentucky we don’t usually have a lot of snow, but it rains a lot. My husband works outside all day. He is a foreman for a tree trimming company here, so his shoes are usually pretty dirty.

Although he would take the boots off at the front door, some dirt usually made it’s way into the carpet. Before the amazing mat, I had to invest in a carpet shampooer because there was so much dirt from not only his work boots, but from the kids playing outside. Can you say “Gross"?”
Adisyn immediately was by my side wondering what the huge canvas like picture thing was in my hand. I opened it and immediately put it beside my front door. She was all over it. “what is it, what is it?” I told her it was to help keep our floor from getting dirty. That it traps dirt and germs from the bottom of our shoes.
When Adam got home I told him to make sure he walked across the mat. When the top sheet gets dirty, just peel it off and throw it in the trash. How easy is that?

Then you just peel it off..

Not only do I love the product. The quality and how well it works, I love the bamboo design on it. It honestly kept my carpet from getting track marks everywhere. Anything that keeps my house cleaner without too much hard work is a plus in my book.
I bet this amazing companies had MOMS in mind when designing. Less shampooing for me. YAY. I love that you don’t have to literally WIPE your feet. My kids are young and Adisyn doesn’t really get the concept of it. With this- you just walk across and it pulls all the dirt and germs off for you.

I was cleaning the house and had moved to the sink to wash dishes. I turned cartoons on for the kids so they didn’t fight while I was trying to get stuff done.

I rinsed the last of the dishes and went to sweep the living room floor. I didn’t see Adisyn- ANYWHERE. I looked in her bedroom, Aidan’s bedroom, the bathroom, my room, the closets, and NOTHING.

I didn’t hear the door open so I thought maybe I had just overlooked her. I went back through the rooms again. Checking behind the shower curtain, under the beds, and under the coffee table.

STILL NO ADISYN.

I started yelling her name. NOTHING. I went outside and yelled for her- NOTHING.

I started thinking the worst possible scenario’s like I always do. I have always been like this and don’t know why. I looked around the front and back of my building. No Adi. I went back inside and searched again.

I found her.!! She was hiding in her busy body car that was under a blanket. I had put it there while cleaning- meaning to fold it.

I grabbed her, wrapped her in my arms, and told her “You scared Mommy” “Never ever hide from me and not answer, OK” I started crying and she said “You cry, mommy?”

Yes, baby. I cried. I cried because I couldn’t imagine you not in my life. I cherish everything about you and your brother and am glad that you are with me.

I didn’t say this- of course- being a 2 year old. She probably would have only understood “You and Your Brother” out of the whole convo.

I now keep the doors locked at all times to make SURE she doesn’t go outside without me..

The craziest reason..

I ever got in trouble as a child.

I remember I was about 5 or 6. I lived in a house on Main Street with my mom, my dad, and my little sister.

This seemed HUGE to me. It used to be a store house. It had tons of rooms, but someone before had made it into a store. Each room held different items. One for giant porcelain dolls, one for whatever else. The only room I really remember while the store was in use was the doll room.

She got older and wanted to sell the “store”. My dad loved the inside, and so we got it and made it into our house.

We had lived there for almost a year—and I can remember my dad helping my cousins paint their bikes. So there was spray paint on the ground outside (beside huge Wooden planks they put the bikes on)

I’m not sure HOW or WHY I ended up getting that spray paint. I seriously don’t. I just remember walking into the house with my hands behind my back.

My dad leaned over and said “what you got there"?” “Nothing” I replied.. But truthfully, in my hand held NOTHING. I had blue hands and I didn’t want him to see.

I had taken the spray paint and painted the “under the house storage areas door”. I still don’t know why, but I remember being scared to death when I walked in the house.

Seen the disappointment on his face that now he would have to repaint the house. I did a lot of stuff that I shouldn’t have when I was young. I was curious, adventurous, and always up for a challenge.

Hey, what can I say? I had NO girl cousins to play with. They were ALL boys, so I got in trouble for doing what they did most of the time. =)

My Review:

We received the Dancing Hair Detangler and Bubbly Body Wash. I really liked the how the bottles are bright and colorful.

Bubbly Body Wash

My kid’s are REALLY messy. They are always getting dirt on their face and juice on their shirts. So, needless to say- they need A LOT of baths. I was looking for body washes for kids that was chemical free, and FUN for the kids to use.

Did I find it? Yes. With the Bubbly Body wash, a little goes a long way. I just squirt a little on a washcloth and get to scrubbing those dirty children of mine. It bubbles up extremely well. (So well in fact that they wanted to use it as bubble bath) So we did. I put just a tiny drop under the faucet, and they were playing forever it seemed.

This body was is safe for sensitive skin, because it removes the surface oil without stripping the skin of natural oils and drying it out. Aidan has sensitive skin, he always has. When he was a baby I had to use unscented wipes and lotions on him because he would get tiny little bumps from the chemicals in the “Scent”. I had to end up using Johnson’s Regular Wash most of his life, until now.

Aidan and Adisyn both love playing in the water, but Aidan HATES having water poured over his head when I wash his body, ears, neck, and face. He says “No, give me a towel”. I go ahead and wash him off and then give him a towel to wipe his eyes with. He has been so much better at letting me wash him off with the Bubbly Body wash. He thinks the Bubbles “tickle” him.. Anything that will keep him from twisting and turning and acting like he is having a heart attack in the bath.

It smells citrusy, and is just the right amount of smell. It isn’t overpowering, but it is strong enough so that I get a whiff if the kids if they fly by me after the bath.

For $8.99 you have your kid WILLING to want to be bathed, whether they hate having water on their face or not. It also doubles as a bubble bath, so they can spend some adventure time in the land of bubbles.

Dancing Hair Detangler

Adisyn HATES having her hair brushed. Before we met the Dancing Hair Detangler, I would put my conditioner in her hair and let it sit for about 3 minutes before washing it out. She would scream like I was killing her, and I was barely even brushing. She tends to get a million tangles in her hair.

I loved the Detangler from Trukid because I didn’t have to soak her entire head for it to be tangle free. Just a couple of spritzes of this and no more hurting while brushing. I hated having her feeling like her hair was being pulled. No more.

I had tried several detanglers before. Sure they smelled amazing, but they all left a greasy residue in her hair. A child’s hair is much different from a grow-ups because it is thinner. So you don’t need put many ingredients in a child’s hair. This was perfect because her hair still looked clean and smelled great after.

I also used the Detangler for myself. I don’t usually have a lot of tangles, but when I do- I hate brushing them straight out. Brushing tangles without a product to help can actually hurt your hair. It breaks it and makes it uneven.

These product gets an A+ from me. I love it. I love that it smells amazing, has no chemicals, and has the awesome bottles that my kids think is “magic”.

would be lost. I am a stay at home mom. I don’t have many friends that just randomly stop by to say hi. I live in an apartment building that has practically no play area for my kids. So we are inside ALL day just about. Except when it’s warm and we go to the park just about every other day. But still- it’s just ME with the kids at the park. No other mom beside me talking. So I usually just keep updated and say hey through social media.
It also means a lot for my blog. I have been blogging for awhile now, and the most hits come from Social Media. I have met some really AWESOME people through blog groups on Facebook.
I am not sure that I would be the same me without all the blog friends that keep me sane through the day.
Although we ARE planning to move this year and get a house with a fence and a yard. More space for toys, our clothes, and a million yards of fabric and yarn. =)
I seriously CAN’T wait.
Until then, Social Media is my outlet.

My Review

When meals are over there is usually food left on plates at my house. Whether it be eggs, spaghetti, or taco’s.. it all goes down the disposal.

Having food being thrust into your sink doesn’t exactly give you the feeling that it is very clean. Why? Because as food ages, it grows bacteria. That bacteria may live on the inside of the pipes of your sink until you clean it.

Until I had seen and used Fuller Brush Disposal Clean, I had never really known of a EASY way to clean the sink disposal. The Fuller Brush Company has been keeping American homes clean for generations and they follow 3 simple rules: Make it Work. Make it Last. Guarantee it no matter what.

So with that being said.. They held true to their promise. I kept the disposal clean without having to do any HARD work.

It comes with a capped top, and a thick straw like attachment. You take the cap off, and put the attachment on. Then put the attachment down into the disposal and spray until you see it emerge to the top. You then go about your business for 3-5 minutes while it works it’s magic.

While it’s working, it is ridding the drain of germs and breaking down food particles that could have been left and stuck inside. It also rids the sink of any odors that are caused from the germs and bacteria from the food. Then you just run warm water down the drain to flush it out.

This disposal clean leaves behind a nice clean smell, while using natural grease cutters. I really like the Fuller Brush Companies products that I have used so far.

The Disposal clean works like a dream, ridding the sink of the disgusting stuff you don’t want to have to think about. The Premium Floor Care cleans your floor without a heavy bucket to pack around. Just squirt the product directly on the floor and get to mopping.

My Review
We got a chance to review the Cach Cach Precious Black Hat w/hot Pink Flower.

Adisyn loves this hat. She wears it everywhere. I love the way that it will fit an infant as well as a toddler. We tried it on the neighbor baby, (6 months) and it fit her as well.
The design is very adorable. It is strong, not shedding or coming lose. The flower is attached very well, not falling down or falling off.
We were shopping on Saturday for Adisyn’s Birthday, and we were asked a million times about where we got it. It is an attention getter. People notice a girl in a hat, it is so cute.
When Adisyn seen me open the package she ran over and said “Oh, pretty.” She immediately wanted it on. This is a child that DOES not like hats, bows, or hair ties. I was extremely surprised, but at the same time GLAD.
She cut her hair horribly short one day while I was washing dishes, and there wasn’t a way to fix it. She wouldn’t keep headbands or clips in very long. She was taking them off and throwing them on the floor.
I was lost for words until we got the hat. Now I can just slip it on her head when we go out, and nobody notices that she has the shortest hair EVER in the front. Thank you Little Fashion’s Boutique. =) Now her Birthday pictures aren’t going to be terrifying.
This shop has some of the cutest outfits I’ve seen all year. I definitely want to add some of these to Adisyn’s wardrobe.
I really like that stuff is so easy to find. Usually I search a website, and then Adam gets on the computer and X’s it out. Then I can never find the same item again. Here you can search by size, Brand, or whatever your specifically looking for (dresses, shoes, accessories…)
They have some beautiful Valentine’s Clothes. Such a great selection for all ages. They have brightly colored dresses if that is what you’re looking for, or they have lighter more feminine colors (like the one on the bottom right)

They just got a new shipment of 2012 Spring Arrival of Clothes, and they are all so adorable. From Babies to tweens- dress them all. These designs are so awesome. I wish I had all of these. They are all beautifully made, with the highest quality.

I also really like their selection of hair bows. Very wide selection of styles and colors. Would definitely find something for every outfit or child your looking for.

My Review*
My 3 year old daughter goes Banana’s for any kind of stuffed animal. She will play with them day and night if you let her. She packs them around, covers them up, puts them to sleep. Acts like they’re crying.. the whole nine yards.
We were lucky enough to review a Blanket Pet. I chose to get Furbie the Feline because Adisyn loves Cats. It was extremely hard for me to choose though, because they had so many different animals.

When she seen me opening the Zoobies Pal, I thought she just might have a heart attack. I mean, how many stuffed animals come with their OWN blanket? Not many. She was in play pal heaven. She played with it until she fell asleep with it under her arm.

I was also in heaven, because the company most definitely had mom’s in mind when they were designing them. Less clutter comes with having a Zoobies Pal. A pillow, Blanket, and Pet all in one. The blanket is HUGE. I seriously didn’t think the blanket was that big. I thought it was going to be a small baby type of blanket for them to play with the animal.

I am seriously impressed with the blanket sizing. I loved how big it was. She can use it as her blanket, or put tons of her “babies” under them. It is VERY soft, made with polyester fleece. The blanket is big enough for a toddler to crawl under and sleep with. The blanket zips off the animal and is easy to do so. It is machine washable and dryable.
Not only does this blanket provide comfort and warmth to your little one, it also provides security. They feel safe wrapped in their own blanket at night, and drift off to sleep with their blanket and pet that are as soft as the clouds they dream of.
The pets are extremely soft and huggable. They are adorable. I love how Furbie the Feline came with a collar that has the Zoobie emblem on it. Adisyn

This is a great item for birthday’s, Christmas, or just a thank you for being good. This is an essential item for taking long trips, sleep overs, or just having something awesome to play with. It is only $35, and your getting a full size blanket, and the animal that also doubles as a pillow.

The head of the animal is stuffed with microbeads, so it moves around and is squishy to the touch. You can wash the animal also. It is preferred that you spot wash it with a warm washcloth, but you can also machine wash it in a delicate bag if needed.

I have a label fetish, I admit it. If I could manage it, everything in my house would be labeled. I think it is such a great organizing solution, while keeping kids from fighting and me from losing stuff.

Most schools today ask that everything that is brought with kids to school be labeled with their names to avoid confusion and mix-ups. Whether it be jackets, backpacks, binders, lunch boxes, or notebooks.

If we lived in the olden days, we mom’s would have the problem of hand sewing all the names into clothing.. What a hassle that would be. We already have to get the kids to school fully clothed with no mismatching sock and shoes, with a backpack on, homework done, and lunch to eat.. Who has time to hand sew labels? Not me.

And not a lot of other people do, either.. That’s why lovable labels has become to go to site for labeling.. My kids loved the labels. Adisyn kept trying to get in them because she wanted to use them as “stickers” and “tattoo's” for her.

We got to choose from the icons below. So we got the football for Aidan and the butterfly for Adisyn. So these aren’t gender bias or age bias, you can find an icon for any age. Even if they are older, or you want to buy some for yourself, you can choose to get “no icon.”
