Even though her last album '4' was not the meteoric success the world expected from her, it was still loaded with amazing tracks that managed to somehow create a cohesive piece of work that not everybody could get apparently. And this time, with B's latest song "Grown Woman" something tells me the same is gonna happen.

"Grown Woman" is just that kind of song that you imagine Beyoncé dancing to, you know? As it is, it's definitely not radio material, but who gives a shit, right? She does wonders with this live and that's the only thing that the world should pay attention to.

Oh my, my, now there is no doubt in my mind about why American Idol didn't let Nicki Minaj perform her latest single 'High School' during the season finale, and that may be related to the fact that the song comes accompanied by quite a racy choreography, and it's not like we're complaining or anything... But DAMN Nicki!

Miss Minaj really just went and gave all she has for this performance and well, one can already hear the comments that the world is gonna throw at Nicki.. But I guess her reply will go alone the lines of her 'High School' lyrics: 'Worry about yourself...'

There is not much to say about Taylor Swift's performance at the Billboard Music Awards besides the fact that: "B*tch killed it".

There was not a single presentation that could come even close to the level of engagement that Taylor obtained from the audience, even though she had some flaws on her vocals, she pretty much delivered every note, every move, every smile to the camera as she was supposed to. Something tells me she used the fact that they made fun of her to come out and act even stronger during her performance, and that's why you have to love her.

At the moment that Florence Welch decides to cover YOUR song, you know in that same instant that you have made it, and that's what this sexy Swedish duo should know right now, their track "I Love It" is frickin' awesome and the world still loves it!

Oh dear Billboard, you could have chosen ANY of the top selling artists of 2013 to perform at your show and you decided to choose Selena Gomez and her utterly boring "Come & Get It" (which sounds like something Rihanna puked all over at the minute she was handed the record for 'Talk That Talk' so that explains why she cleverly threw it to the nearest trash can she found, where quite possibly Selena found it)? Well, someone clearly should be fired.

Billboard, let me name a couple of the artists you could have chosen instead of this girl, here you go: Marina and The Diamonds, Imagine Dragons, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Demi Lovato, Christina Aguilera, I mean... God, even Pitbull would have done a better job (oh, he DID perform? In that case, he in fact did a better job!!).

The thing with Selena is that she just CAN NOT sing for her life! She tries, and she has gotten noticeably better, but it's just not good enough. This time they try to turn up the volume of the backing track and she did a bit of lip-sync but still, it just didn't make the cut as you can see. But well, I guess talent is not what everyone wants to buy, right?

Kids, the internet is a pretty wild place where tons of things happen every second of every day, but when you happened to miss the fact that the goddess that is Florence Welch covered the magnificent bubblegum electropop extravaganza that is Icona Pop's "I Love It", you know you are missing the good stuff that's online.

Anyways, it's been more than 2 weeks since this happened, but can't you miss the chance to see how Florence magically transforms the pretty superficial (but awesome of course) lyrics of 'I Love It' into some anthemic record that almost makes you cry.

There is one thing you need to now if you haven't got the chance to hear Demi Lovato's latest album 'Demi', and that is that I don't know what the f**k are you waiting for? I mean, this album has some pretty good records that showcase how great Demi's voice really is! So go get it... NOW!

The thing is that as part of the promo for the record, our girl Demi performed yesterday at the "Kiss 108" concert where she did a bunch of songs that included old hits, soon-to-become hits, a duet with Cher Lloyd and even a Rihanna cover. Overall, our girl did well.

Overall, 2012 and 2013 have been a couple of interesting years for our beloved Marina and The Diamonds, whose second record 'Electra Heart' managed to conquer the American airwaves, making her previously solid fan-base grow even more, projecting her to the superstar league of pop stars right next to Lana Del Rey, Florence + The Machine and even Gaga!

The thing is that while feeding my obsession with pop culture yesterday, I came across this interview that Michael (creator of PopBytes) did with the lovely British artist and I was blown away by how honest and raw Marina is in it! Like you have never seen her before!

Even though Jessie J hasn't been exactly hidden in the dark, for people outside the UK it does seem like it, because after 'Domino' had success in the charts she just went away... Good thing is that she left to record new material and now some of it is finally ready.

Jennifer Lopez premieres 'Live It Up' video (and Pitbull is on it... Again...)

After having found radio success with her Pitbull featured for 'On The Floor' and 'Dance Again', it seems JLo thought that it was his name (instead of hers) what made both tracks successful, so she is back with him for her latest offering, the pretty standard 'Live It Up'.

'Live It Up' sounds like it was handmade for the radio, which is fine I guess, though it gives it a life of about a month tops before people get bored and want another thing. And for the video, Miss Lopez decided to bring her A-game, I mean, can you believe this woman is 43-years old??? It's CRA-ZY! She jumps, she walks down the runway, she dances and she even pops her lips for the camera.

At the end I wonder though: If JLo didn't have these looks, would she be someone relevant in the music industry? I would hit that replay button again, but still my answer would be a sad little "no, I don't think so". So there's that.

It has been a while since the world got to hear something new from Miss Britney Vegas Spears, and if you have been praying to all the existing Gods for a new tune, then your prayers have been answered: Here's "Ooh La La" taken from the soundtrack of the soon-to-be-released "The Smurfs 2".

"Ooh La La" brings you back to the "Blackout" era with its tremendously auto-tuned verses, its over-the-top bubblegum pop chorus and the robotic voice of a Britney Spears who tries to keep it sexy-but-not-really-since-this-is-for-a-kids-movie throughout the whole track.

Bottom line? This is good.

After her latest A-MAH-ZING single 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You' just didn't seem to catch any attention (even after Nicki "The Remix" Minaj released her version of it), Carly Rae Jepsen seems to think that going back to the generic pop formula will guarantee her a spot on the top 10, or at least that's what you can conclude after listening to her latest offer 'I Take A Picture'.

Carly debuted her new song on American Idol, where she was looking quite and everything, but there was something about the track, the performance and the lip-sync that just made her seem like a commercial break next to the American Idol talent for the night.

Anyways, here's hoping Carly Rae Jepsen does something else to avoid being buried in the one-hit-wonder shadow, because 'I Take A Picture' is definitely NOT a good move.

After being away from the spotlight for what to many seemed like a decade or two (she was away recovering from her hip surgery, the one that made her cancel the American leg of her "Born This Way Tour", remember?), Lady Gaga finally let the world see her again at the Versace Versus show, where she was the "musical director" in charge.

And with everybody talking about ARTPOP, it was to be expected that Gaga would take advantage of that to steer the waters a little bit more, so while playing the DJ role, there's word that Mother Monster took the time to preview some of the instrumentals for some of her new songs!

After releasing what may just be the-worst-song-that-they-could-have-released-like-EVER (yes, I'm talking about the shamelessly bad 'Walks Like Rihanna'), The Wanted realized they fucked up, so when they were asked to perform on "Dancing With The Stars", they rather chose to sing their other track 'Fill A Heart', which aims to help fight child hunger in America.

At the end they killed two birds at once: They amazed with their vocals and they avoided their horrendous latest single from going to national TV and instead showed the world how humanitarian are the boys, so I guess everybody's happy.
