Vienna/Prague, July 28, 2026 – Noctua and Prusa Research today expanded the lineup of 3D printing filaments in signature Noctua colours. The new PETG Prusaments complement the previously released PLA materials, offering higher toughness and temperature resistance for more demanding applications. “We’ve already seen amazing projects come to life using the Noctua-coloured PLA Prusaments”, says Roland Mossig, CEO of Noctua. “The new PETG materials are stronger and can withstand higher temperatures, so we can’t wait to see what users will create with them.” While PLA is undeniably the easiest material to print and therefore ideal for both novices and experts who seek maximum convenience for parts that don’t require high mechanical or thermal stability, PETG remains convenient to print while offering superior toughness and temperature resistance. This makes it ideal for parts that are subject to structural load or used in environments that may exceed 50°C. For example, the new Prusament PETG materials are perfect for custom PC cases, electronic enclosures or air ducts that may be exposed to temperatures above this level. Just like the previous PLA filaments, the new Prusament PETG Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown materials have been carefully fine-tuned for maximum consistency with Noctua’s signature colours so that you can take the guesswork out of colour-matching your prints with Noctua fans. Like other Prusa filaments, Prusament PETG Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown are manufactured in-house by Prusa Research in Prague, Czech Republic. This guarantees flawless, consistent quality with extremely tight tolerances (±0.02mm), maximum colour accuracy and continuous monitoring. Prices and availability Prusament PETG Noctua Beige and Prusament PETG Noctua Brown are available through Prusa’s online store for EUR 32.99 (VAT incl.) / USD 32.99 (import duties included). Links Buy Prusament PETG Noctua Beige on Prusa3d.com Buy Prusament PETG Noctua Brown on Prusa3d.com How we built a ‘Noctua Edition’ Prusa MK4S 3D printer Official Noctua models on Printables.com About Prusa Prusa Research was founded as a one-man startup in 2012 by Josef Prusa, a Czech hobbyist, maker and inventor – and now one of the most famous names in the 3D printing industry. Josef found his passion for 3D printers as a student of University of Economics in Prague. That was in 2009. Back then, he considered 3D printing to be nothing but a hobby, an amazing new technology open to changes and improvements. Josef then joined the open-source RepRap project and the rest is history. About Noctua Noctua’s award-winning, premium quality quiet cooling components are internationally renowned for their superb acoustics, industry-leading performance-to-noise efficiency and remarkable longevity. Since its foundation in 2005, the Austrian manufacturer’s engineering-first mindset, history of innovations and relentless pursuit of continuous optimisation have become just as iconic as its long-term product support and excellence in customer service. Today, PC enthusiasts and industry clients alike swear by the signature blend of cutting-edge performance, outstanding quietness and ultimate reliability that makes Noctua’s products unique.

High-performing all-in-one water cooling units with IPS display, vivid ARGB lighting, and whisper-quiet operationGlinde, July 28, 2026 – be quiet!, the German manufacturer for premium PC components and peripherals, is proud to announce Light Loop IO LCD, a new addition to the Light Loop all-in-one water cooling series. Designed for heavily overclocked systems, Light Loop IO LCD combines high cooling performance and whisper-quiet operation with a striking IPS display and intense RGB lighting, in 240mm and 360mm radiator sizes and in two color options (black and white). An included IO Controller enables software control, while daisy-chained Light Wings LX PWM high-speed fans and extensive customization options make Light Loop IO LCD a visually impressive and highly capable cooling solution. “With Light Loop IO LCD, we are expanding the Light Loop series with a model that combines powerful cooling, quiet operation, and a new level of personalization,” says Aaron Licht, CEO of be quiet! “The IPS display, vivid ARGB lighting, and included IO Controller make this cooler a compelling choice for users who want high performance as well as a truly distinctive look for their system.” Peak performance with whisper-quiet operationLike the regular Light Loop models, Light Loop IO LCD is engineered for maximum cooling performance. A specially designed jet plate accelerates the cooling liquid flow velocity, while the cold plate with a high-density fin stack maximizes heat dissipation for today’s flagship and high-performance CPUs. A state-of-the-art pump with progressive IC minimizes switching noise for whisper-quiet pump operation, while the daisy-chained Light Wings LX PWM high-speed fans with funnel-shaped air outlets and airflow-optimized blades deliver both high performance and vibrant illumination. Outstanding IPS display and vivid lightingLight Loop IO LCD features an eye-catching cooling unit with a 2.1-inch IPS display with 480×480 pixel resolution and 500 nits brightness to show system information, videos, or images. The round display is paired with RGB lighting and can be customized extensively through be quiet!’s IO Center. The included IO Controller transmits signal and power to the all-in-one water cooler with a single cable. It can be magnetically attached anywhere in the case, while hidden fan cables along the tubes help create a clean appearance and reduce cable clutter. Flexible sleeved tubes ensure easy handling, and an easy-to-access refill port with included coolant bottle helps support a long lifespan. Full control over your hardware and lighting with improved IO CenterIO Center for Windows has received a major update, now offering vivid presets and customization options for ARGB lighting, fan profiles, and system-monitoring displays. Through an intuitive interface, users can personalize the Light Loop IO LCD display with several preset or custom background effects and showcase real-time sensor data, such as CPU, GPU, or liquid temperatures and clock speeds. IO Center also supports color calibration to match LED colors with other RGB devices in your system. Backgrounds and lighting effects can be saved directly to the cooler’s onboard memory, ensuring that preferred settings remain active even when the software is not running. New in IO Center is Hardware Monitor, which provides real-time system data at a glance, keeping you informed about temperatures, frequencies, load levels, and the battery status of compatible peripherals, such as the Dark Perk gaming mice. Additionally, IO Center Web offers web-based access to most of these options from Windows, Mac, or Linux from most Chromium-based browsers. It runs without admin access in most environments, making it ideal for workstations and restricted systems. Settings remain active after the browser is closed because they are stored in the onboard memory. Light Loop IO LCD will be available in retail from August 11 at the following prices: Light Loop IO LCD 360mm White: €234.90 / $254.90 / £179.99Light Loop IO LCD 360mm Black: €229.90 / $249.90 / £179.99Light Loop IO LCD 240mm White: €209.90 / $229.90 / £159.99Light Loop IO LCD 240mm Black: €204.90 / $224.90 / £159.99 Light Loop IO LCD is backed by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.
NVIDIA is in talks to provide roughly $250 billion in financing guarantees for OpenAI’s planned data center campus in southern Ohio, according to the Wall Street Journal, cited by Reuters. The project is being developed by SB Energy, a SoftBank subsidiary and is a 10-gigawatt facility sited on a decommissioned uranium-enrichment site about 50 miles south of Columbus, Ohio. The total cost, including chips, could exceed $500 billion making it the largest data center project announced to date. The financing structure would have NVIDIA backstop a set of lending instruments to reassure investors, which is necessary partly because OpenAI hasn’t turned a profit and can’t qualify for investment-grade credit on its own. The $250 billion commitment covers the lease and construction financing but not the chips. For those it seems that NVIDIA is also in talks to help fund OpenAI’s chip purchases, a figure the WSJ puts at up to $350 billion. Remember that last year, OpenAI and NVIDIA teamed up on a huge project to set up 10 gigawatts of NVIDIA systems, the latter planning (at that time) to invest up to $100 billion into OpenAI.
TSMC has reportedly reached a new milestone in scaling its 2 nm node high-volume manufacturing, now producing 20,000 wafers per month on the N2 node alone. Manufactured across five fabs in Taiwan, the company currently has only one fab in volume production on the N2 node. This is reportedly Fab 20, which has reached this figure. TSMC began high-volume production of its N2 node in the fourth quarter of 2025. Fast-forward two quarters to today, and the 2 nm node now accounts for only 3% of the company’s revenue, while the 3 nm node commands 30%, and the 5 nm node holds the top spot at 33%.
