Vienna, June 16th 2026 – Noctua today introduced its first all-in-one liquid CPU coolers. With first-class cooling performance, superb quietness of operation and industry-leading reliability, the new NL-LC1 series brings classic Noctua virtues to the world of closed-loop liquid cooling. “The performance headroom of liquid cooling has always been tempting to us, but we first had to make sure that acoustics and reliability met the strict standards that customers expect from a Noctua product,” said Roland Mossig, CEO of Noctua. “With the NL-LC1, we are proud to have achieved a level of thermal performance, acoustic refinement and dependability that sets a new standard.” The NL-LC1 series is based on Asetek’s renowned, premium-grade Emma V2 platform, which has established itself as a gold standard for both thermal efficiency and long-term dependability. What makes the NL-LC1 coolers unique is Noctua’s custom-engineered NL-PNA1 pump noise absorber: Leveraging a three-layer acoustic soundproofing structure and the tuned-mass damper effect, the NL-PNA1 reduces both air-borne noise and structure-borne vibrations, which can yield significant improvements in pump acoustics. For fine-tuning performance-to-noise characteristics, the NL-LC1 series pump integrates a mode switch that allows users to choose between three different pump speed profiles: While the pre-selected quiet mode guarantees that the pump will stay near-inaudible, the balanced mode provides extra performance headroom, and the manual mode gives users full control over the pump’s entire RPM range. Available in 240 (NL-LC1-24), 360 (NL-LC1-36) and 420mm (NL-LC1-42) form factors, the NL-LC1 coolers utilise Noctua’s award-winning NF-A12x25 G2 and NF-A14x25 G2 fans for cutting edge performance-to-noise efficiency. Working in tandem with the pump noise absorber, the G2 flagship fans are the second key factor to the NL-LC1 series’ unique capability of delivering first-rate thermals while running extremely quiet. To ensure a smooth, unobtrusive sound signature, the fans utilise a speed-offset to avoid undesirable harmonics phenomena such as periodic humming or vibration build-up due to beat frequencies. While the NL-PNA1 pump noise absorber comes with a magnetically attaching metal faceplate, users who require extra ventilation for VRMs, RAM modules, M.2 SSDs or other near-socket components have the option of replacing it with the NL-ACF1 auxiliary cooling fan that is available separately. Noctua’s proven SecuFirm2+™ mounting system not only enables easy installation, broad socket support and future upgradability, but also helps to improve thermal performance through optimised force transfer and offset mounting options. Topped off with the renowned NT-H2 thermal paste and Noctua’s usual 6-year manufacturer’s warranty, the NL-LC1 are a deluxe choice for customers who are looking for premium grade all-in-one liquid coolers that satisfy the highest demands in terms of performance, reliability and quietness of operation. Suggested retail prices The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices are as follows: NL-LC1-24: EUR 219.90 / USD 219.90 NL-LC1-36: EUR 249.90 / USD 249.90 NL-LC1-42: EUR 279.90 / USD 279.90 NL-ACF1: EUR 19.90 / USD 19.90 Availability The NL-LC1 series coolers and the NL-ACF1 auxiliary fan are available as of today via Noctua’s official Amazon stores. Other sales partners will receive stock shortly.

Black Tides sees players go up against two mysterious Templars who have journeyed to Japan to hunt Yasuke and Naoe and fulfill their own ulterior motives along the way. Players will need to complete all previous free post-launch content drops in order to access the Black Tides quest, except for Claws of Awaji. The update also adds Domains, a new, replayable, arena-based endgame activity that challenges players and encourages build diversity. Read More

Following the recent updates to the Keychron wireless keyboard line-up, with new ZMK firmware and mechanical and Hall effect models reaching gamers, Keychron has started to tease an upcoming version of its V6 keyboard that it is calling a next-gen keyboard architecture. The post on X revealing the keyboard’s design and existence reveals that it will have TMR sensing technology, which is known to be more efficient than Hall-effect sensors, and a “Nova Socket architecture,” with a hybrid platform. This all suggests that Keychron, which has long used TMR sensors in its wireless “HE” keyboard series, will leverage TMR sensors in order to support both mechanical and analogue magnetic switches.
We recently reported on comments by Xbox Gaming Chief Strategy Officer, Matthew Ball, about a future of Xbox Gaming experiences subsidized by non-intrusive in-game advertising, although it seemed as though Microsoft had yet to actually go down that route. More recently, EA (Electronic Arts) has announced EA Advertising, which it says will allow brands to “tap into the power of play,” and access views from “some of the most invested gaming communities online.” The idea is that brands can partner with EA to include ads in the gaming giant’s games without breaking player immersion. EA chief experiences officer, David Tinson, said that the new ad platform “gives brands a meaningful opportunity to show up in ways that add value and respect the player experience, while maintaining authenticity in the worlds our teams are building.” Read More

This week, at the 2026 IEEE/JSAP Symposium on VLSI Technology and Circuits, imec, a world-leading research and innovation hub in advanced semiconductor technologies, in partnership with the lithography solution provider ASML, and semiconductor foundry TSMC, presents a novel, robust and scalable 300 mm integration route for 2D-material based n and pFETs. For the first time, scaled nFETs (implementing MoS2 as the channel material) and pFETs (either WS2 or WSe2-based) with 50 nm contacted poly pitch (CPP) could be demonstrated, with good current-voltage characteristics. These results represent a crucial step in the lab-to-fab transition of 2D-material based transistors, envisioned for ultra-scaled logic as well as for back-end and wafer backside applications.
It seems as though CD Projekt Red is not in the business of resting on its laurels, with the studio recently celebrating the 13th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with a newly revealed update and DLC for the game, working on both The Witcher 4 and a Witcher 1 remake, Cyberpunk 2, and apparently a new co-op Witcher game, which has started to appear in rumors of late. The rumors of a co-op Witcher game started with a spin-off game called under the codename Sirrius, that would be primarily a single-player game with optional multiplayer layered over the top. Project Sirrius seems to align with rumors of a new Witcher co-op game, as reported by MP1st. The biggest change from previous games in the Witcher universe is that this will be a multiplayer co-op experience, with players working together to hunt and take down monsters.
