Italy Regions 6, 7, and 8 are LIVE!

Hope you saved up your LIRA as the first job in Calabria is expensive. I also hope you saved some Smart Phones, because Gate Loot is needed in Calabria...

The first job on the Energy Path, 'Deal with the Dock Union' costs you L$25,000 per click. At Silver Level, you get 4% Mastery at a time - much less than in previous Regions at Bronze Level. The 2X Mastery Boosts would help...but I'd save them for later since Ruby will likely be 1% per click.

The first piece of Calabria loot I found (and the only one that dropped in 25 times of doing the first job) is the Italian Porcupine (56A/66D). So far, this appears to be the best of the Calabria Loot. It beats the Nyala (Fight Loot) by 1 point on defense.

The first Calabria Energy Path job requires L$625,000 (25 x L$25,000) to complete - after purchasing 2 Bribed Officials to start the job for additional $160,000 Lira.

The Energy:XP ratio is about 1.6 on this job - pretty low. It's a bit under 1.6 on the second Calabria job, 'Replace the Dock Workers'.

The next job Loot I found was the Giove Velocita (65A/52D). Doesn't beat the Phantasm so also not in top 501. But a nice Vehicle.

The third Energy Route job, 'Smuggle Out the Contraband', gets 5% Mastery per click. Here I found the Rex Enterra (43/54):

Not an especially useful Vehicle, stats wise.

The fourth job - 'Rig the Vote for the Local Governor' - is a Social Job, so you can get help - 10% Mastery from each person who helps you.

You get 5% Mastery at Bronze level doing the job yourself - not so bad. However, this job requires Smart Phones...

You have to go back to MILANO (Region 4) and do the 'Free a Professional Assassin' job to get Smart Phones (for 105 Energy each if you were at Ruby level there), or you can buy them in Calabria for one RP each.

The next Calabria loot item I found was the Arrivederci 20 (55/45). In the Energy Path jobs, the Calabria loot dropped at a 1:19 ratio.

The Asconini 33 Vehicle (38/61) in interesting in that I didn't receive one through hundreds of jobs in Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels - found this when I started Ruby level - even though its stats are not so much higher than other Calabria loot.

You will need Smart Phones again for the sixth Energy Path job - and the Property Job - 'Set Up Your Nightclub'.

You get a DJ - the unique Property upgrade part for the Nightclub - each time you do this job.

You still need the other four Property upgrade parts - Italian Wood, Marble Slabs, Stone Columns, and Terracotta Tiles - to upgrade your Nightclub. (The Stone Column and Terracotta Tile links stopped working in December). All four of these items drop randomly from jobs in Calabria.

Property: The Nightclub

When you finish this job, you'll get your Nightclub:

At first, your Nightclub will look like this:

Closer inspection reveals that your Level I Nightclub is named Antonio's...

...but once you upgrade to Level IV, your Nightclub is called Marcelo...

...only to transform into Stefano's at Level VI.

If you have leftover upgrade parts from prior Italy jobs, you can move your Nightclub from Level I towards Level X quickly.

Boss: Don Vittorio Messino

After completing the six Energy Path jobs, you can fight the Calabria Boss - Don Vittorio Messino.

I finished all of the Fight Path jobs first, to truly "complete" Calabria - but it was not worth it - the loot drop rate in Fights was near zero.

At Bronze level, this Boss is very easy to defeat. You have a henchman; he does not. It took one Shiv and one Attack to end the fight.

Once you defeat him, you earn Messino's Pistol (115A/85D) at Bronze Level. You will move to Silver level in Calabria... with Energy and Stamina costs rising for each job... BUT you can get to Region 7: Citta del Vatticano.

Mission Event: Family Gatherings Walkthrough

One mission ends, another begins. Here comes a 9 part Italy based mission which is very very time consuming. Use this walkthrough to time your property collects, level ups and wars and you should be able to finish on time, but it will be close.

Part 1:

Activate 5 crew in Chicago (8 hour timer). Travel to Italy (easy!). Clear 4 robbing boards (any city will do). Get 5 spam supports from your mafia - this gets a little tricky as Zynga transfers everything to the new gifting system. Not everyone will get the request you send them. Great loot for the first part of this mission, but don't get your expectations up - it gets a lot WORSE.

Part 2:

Collect 6 Severed Pinkies from robbing in Italy (getting them from the Intercept a Handoff job doesn't give you credit, took me 7 robbing boards). Collect 6 Rail Tickets from robbing (no credit again from job, took me 6 robbing boards). Collect 6 Sets of Hidden Charges (41 fights). Finally, collect 6 smart phones from jobs in Italy. It takes you to region 8, but you can go back to region 4 and collect them from the smart phone job for less (105 energy). If you aren't maxed on Barn Owls from fighting/robbing, these will come in handy.

Part 3:

10 more spam supports from your mafia, but these are the last ones. Collect from your Villa 4 times (4 hour timer). Buy 3 items from your Port (23 hour timer). No loot, but you did get 2 Hired Guns (ha!).

Part 4:

Declare a war 5 times (8 hour timer). Rob 35 times (successfully) in Italy. Again, no loot.

Part 5:

Do "Discover the Conspiracy" 30 times (40 energy on Ruby). Ask for 10 Confidential Records via wallpost help. Surprise, no loot.

Part 6:

Assassins are 4 Stamina on the fight list. Ice 30 opponents in Italy (at least it will help towards the new Ice Season event). Collect from your Football Stadium 3 times (18 hour timer). 2 Golden Parrots which are +4 over the Barn Owls.

Part 7:

Win 25 fights in Italy and the job costs 72 Stamina on the fight path.

Part 8:

Win 3 Wars (8 hour timer or you can be the one to finish another member's war). Win 100 fights in Italy and the Assassins are now 10 Stamina on the fight list. Nothing but garbage loot. At least they could have come up with some new stuff for Thanksgiving rather than recycle loot that is a few years old.

Part 9:

Job cost is 243 energy. Buy 10 animals from the city store (or acquire them from loot drops, whatever you prefer). Collect from your Winery 4 times (6 hour timer). That's it! Lots of stalls, not much for loot, I wouldn't be surprised if most people skipped this one. If you time everything out perfectly, it will take you 148 hours in just the property and war stalls - that's 6 days worth of waiting. The Grand Prize is a Chomp Rocket:

Mission Event: Dearly Departed Walkthrough

Just in time for Christmas, a little present from Zynga . . . a 9-part mission!

14 days to finish it. You will have to utilize a few timers, but for the most part, if you don't have a lot of energy, you will not finish this mission.

Part 1:

Acquire 10 weapons (I just bought 10 in NyC). Build 2 armors (18 hour timer) and fight 60 opponents in Chicago. Nice first loot on this one. 3 Hotsy Totsys (102 attack vehicle).

Part 2:

Build 2 items from your Warehouse (23 hour timer). Activate 6 crew in Chicago (8 hour timer). Loot 15 shoes from a 864 energy job (drop rate was near 100%, don't forget to activate your double loot bonus).

Part 3:

Get 5 spam supports. Do 40 jobs at 189 energy. Rob 40 times (successfully) in Brazil. You get 2 Muzzle Madnesses out of this one (119 defense weapon).

Part 4:

Clear 4 robbing boards (any city works). Get 8 supports from a wall post. Win 35 fights in Italy. Done. Easy.

Part 5:

Collect from your Truck Shop 4 times (8 hour timer). Ice 25 opponents in Brazil (will take a lot of stamina). Rob 10 Barracks (try to rob the same one over and over - it's easier than clearing boards). Not sure why the loot got so much worse on this one. At least you can gift it.

Part 6:

1080 energy job 30 times! Declare a war 4 times (8 hour timer depending on family progress). Take out 7 Melvillion Brothers (13 stamina each on the fight list).

Part 7:

Acquire 15 animals (again, buy from NyC city store). 1080 energy requirement again, but this time it's 40 jobs! Fight 80 opponents in NyC. Great rewards with 2 Suicide Spatz (144/127 armor).

Part 8:

864 energy job times 60. Get 10 mafia spam supports. Collect from your Headquarters 3 times (8 hour timer). 4 Sugar Daddy's for a reward. If you don't need them, gift them!

Part 9:

Win 45 fights in Chicago. Ask for 10 free gifts from your mafia (wall post). Loot 25 Incriminating Documents from 432 energy job (I got about a 70% drop rate). Collect the Z Reaper and you're done!!

Mission Event: Conspiracy Walkthrough

Sorry I'm a few days late on this one, but you still have plenty of time to get it done. It's a 9-part mission and most steps are pretty quickly done.

Part 1:

Get 6 supports from your mafia. Fight 40 opponents in Chicago (multiple attacks on one rival counts). Loot 18 Wooden Crates from Job (162 Energy). Be sure to turn on your Lockpick bonus for double loot. Took me 41 jobs. Not much for rewards yet, but they're coming.

Part 2:

Activate 6 Crew in Chicago (8 hour timer). Job costs 270 on Ruby. Collect from your Distillery 2 times (8 hour timer). Decent animals for those of you who haven't maxed on Goblin Sharks.

Part 3:

Win 40 fights in Chicago (same rival is fine again). Loot 15 Hit Squads from Job (324 Energy, took 31 jobs). No loot again, but experience is pretty decent.

Part 4:

Ask for 10 Wallpost helps. Rob 30 properties (successfully) in Chicago. Job costs 378 energy. Sugar Daddys should help most, but if not, they are giftable at least.

Part 5:

Need 8 support spams. Fight 95 Opponents in Chicago. Job costs 756 Energy. No loot again and the cash rewards are decreasing!

Part 6:

Build 2 armors (18 hour timer). Ice 20 Opponents (have to be in Chicago). Take out 9 Ruthless Feds (11 Stamina on fightlist). Good loot and it's all giftable.

Part 7:

15 Wallpost helps. Clear 3 Robbing boards in Chicago. Loot 25 Wooden Crates from Job (972 Energy). Took me 102 jobs. Ridiculous!!!! This step will probably be a stopping point for most players. Barn Owls are good for you unless you already have 10,000 of them from fighting/robbing.

Part 8:

Need 8 of each item. Took me 23 jobs, 9 robbing boards, and 39 fights in Chicago. No loot, but hey, 20 Clams can almost buy you a decent loot item.

Part 9:

Get 5 mafia supports. Job costs 810 Energy on Ruby. Collect from your Truck Shop 3 times (8 hour timer). Loot during this mission left a little to be desired. The Mortal Coil is pretty good, but it's the only piece of loot that helped me in this mission.

Property Skill Bonuses

I had someone ask me for this, so here we go. Nice little tool that helps with your builds every 18 hours. I'll keep it updated as more properties come out. As you can see, there are plenty of extra skills to be had every time you build. Remember that since the fight formula leans more towards personal skills than mafia attack and defense that most of the time, it is better to add +3 to +6 attack and defense rather than build the strongest item. Happy hunting!

Cuba Re-Opened for a Limited Time!!

Cuba is now reopen for everyone for a limited time only. I find it hard to believe that they did a full revamp and added in new features and requirements to Cuba to only leave it open for the next 12 days, but only time will tell.

For those who hadn't completed Cuba yet, you will pick up where you left off and get 3x mastery on the old jobs. Cuba now has 4 levels in each job tier. If you completed Cuba before, you will automatically have Bronze, Silver, and Gold mastery and start in on Ruby level. The job requirements for Cuba have not increased for the Ruby level, but each job done only accounts for 3% towards Ruby mastery. That means that each job in each of the 6 job tiers needs to be done 34 times.

One thing you will notice is that Politico Corruptos are now useless. They have been replaced by Cuban Mercenaries, which can be sent as free gifts, collected from your Bribery Ring or looted from specific jobs in the first 3 Cuban tiers. Total number needed is 34x18 = 612. If you already have your Bribery Ring maxed, you will get 31 each time you collect (8 hour timer). So, you will have plenty to complete Ruby mastery if you collect even twice a day.

It's a Trap - New Mystery Bag Collection

Trying to catch up a little bit here, but in case you haven't seen/heard, there is a new Mystery Bag Collection called "It's a Trap".

Unlike the Superhero Collection, you can get more than one piece per day via Mystery Bag. The most I've picked up in 1 day has been 3, but sometimes you won't get any. Just keep plugging away at it and talk to your mafia if you get extras and attempt to swap some out.

Great reward for vaulting this collection as you get 20 skills points to allocate as you please. Doesn't seem to be any that are more difficult to get than the others, just give it time and open as many Mystery Bags as you can.

Running through Sunday night, there are 2x the fight rewards. That means if you are fighting in Brazil, you will get 10x loot you would get in other cities (yes, you spend more stamina, but it's easier).

Mission Event: Smuggler's Secret Walkthrough

Well, once you finish the "To Smuggle a Mockingbird" mission, one final step pops up and allows you to double your loot. This one is not easy, as it is an all-combined-into-one-step mission. Most players will not be able to Ruby master the Smuggler's Haven District as job costs are extremely high and you only have a limited time to complete it.

You need to ice 50 opponents in Brazil. This will take a ton of Stamina as each fight in Brazil cost 5x the Stamina. The 10 Life Savers were quick drops as I got them in 22 fights. The Ruby mastery will take a while. If you have a bunch of energy, do the first 1 or 2 tiers quickly. After that, make sure you are doing at least your 20 jobs every 8 hours with the Strategist turned on for double mastery. You get another Kookaburra. Extremely time consuming and you already have 1 of them, so it may not be worth it for most players to complete. If you do, congrats!! Everyone - Good Luck!!

Mission Event: To Smuggle a Mockingbird Walkthrough

Same old story - End one mission, start a new one. Here's a 7 part mission that will introduce a couple new ideas for completion. Normally, it's ask for help, job, rob, fight, build and ask for help again through the mission. This one has plenty of those, but with a few new steps. Hopefully they'll keep coming up with new ideas and eventually drown out the ask for help steps. Without further ado!

Part 1:

Get 5 Mafia Supports, Ice 6 opponents. Pretty easy and you get 2 Life Savers (consumables for the limited time Smuggler's Haven district).

Part 2:

Recruit 3 Crew in Brazil (you may have to activate some to clear the way) and the job costs 126/189/378/756 depending on your mastery of the new tier. Great loot and some Brazil cash.

Part 3:

Win 25 fights. Activate 3 crew in Brazil (may take up to 8 hours to clear queue). Jobs costs 99/148/297/594. Vehicle is pretty weak at this point in the game, but should make most mafias.

Part 4:

Travel to Italy. Collect from your Villa once (4 hour timer). Job costs 56 energy on Ruby. No loot, but you get $1 billion NyC cash!!!

Part 5:

3 more supports from your mafia. Take out 15 Assassins (4 Stamina on Fight List). Again, no rewards and no cash.

Part 6:

Travel to Vegas. Job costs 57 energy on Ruby. Rob 9 times (successfully) in Vegas. 2 more Life Savers to help with Smuggler's Haven.

Part 7:

Fight 25 opponents (and win). The Bird Brained Billionaire is 100 Stamina on the Fight List. The first step is the most interesting. "Acquire 5 Weapons". All you have to do is gain 5 weapons in your inventory. I built 1 from my Weapons Depot, purchased one from the Marketplace, looted an Idle Hands from robbing and got 2 Brass Knuckles. Not sure if gifting works, but this shouldn't be very hard for anyone. Kookaburra is 85/154, so the reward is pretty good. Good luck and happy hunting!!!

Reallocation of Skills is Active Again

This is a feature Zynga throws on every now and then. Usually happens about once every month or so, but it is active now for a limited time.

You can reallocate 50 skills for 50 RP or 10 skills for 10 RP. This can be accessed through the Marketplace "Stat Items" tab. If you are a rebuilder, then you can use this to your advantage. The most logical way to reallocate is to pull from Health as it is the easiest to recoup.

Be sure to read the instructions. In this screen you are picking from which skill you will be pulling.

You will then have to go to your profile page to allocate them as you'd like.

Here's the logic with reallocation. From building, the most skills you can gain for each is as follows:
Attack: 6 (Stun Knuckles)
Defense: 6 (Hack Blade)
Health: 20 (Warthog, Wildebeest)
Energy: 6 (Solar Flare)
Stamina: 6 (Rebel 2, Robber's Utility Belt)
Additional Total Skills: 7 (Dirty Trick - 5 Health + 2 Stamina, Electric Prod - 5 Health + 2 Energy).

So, if you wanted to add to anything (except health), the logic is that you pay 50 RP to pull from health, then use rebuilds (x3) to replace the health. For 86 RP, you can gain 60 skills, which is way better than the 12 RP:4 Skills you can buy outright or any of the 12 RP:6 attack/defense/energy/stamina rebuilds.

Long story short - if you are a player who uses RP to rebuild for additional attack/defense/energy/stamina and have at least 86 RP, then this is the best way to spend your RP. If you like to rebuild for health (20 health for 12 RP), this is not for you. And finally, if you spend your RP on limited time loot, boosts, or energy/stamina refills, this is not for you. Mission Event: Get a Grip Walkthrough

A new mission comes to us with great rewards, plus a secret district reward. This may breathe a little bit of life back into the way Zynga does things.

Part 1:

Easiest job ever for an event: 1 energy. Declare a war once (8 hour timer) and you get some great rewards.

Part 2:

Search your newsfeed for 5 war helps. Build 1 Weapon and 1 Armor (18 hour time). No loots, but a fairly easy step.

Part 3:

Get support from your Mafia (MW request help). Fight 40 opponents and build 1 Vehicle (18 hour timer). No loot again and the NyC cash seems unnecessary.

Part 4:

Travel to Italy (pretty easy!). Job costs 162 energy on Ruby and buy 1 item from your Port (23 hour timer). Always wanted the Blood Tiger. It was released back in the Charlie Sheen media craze.

Part 5:

Take out 12 Spies (5 Stamina each on the fight list). Declare 1 war (8 hour timer). No loot again, but at least you get Italy cash.

Part 6:

Travel to Brazil (again, easy). Job costs 81 energy on Ruby and activating the 8 crew members is easy if you have a clear queue in Brazil (otherwise it's an 8 hour timer). Great loot reward with 2 Loki's Helmets and Brazil $$.

Part 7:

Take out 20 Smugglers (8 Stamina each on the fight list). Get 8 supports from your mafia (again, mw request help, not wall post). Job costs 756 energy on Ruby so it may take a while if you are a fighter or lower level account. 5 hired guns are nice if you aren't to 501 yet.

Part 8:

Rob 27 times in Brazil (successfully). Help in 5 more wars and win 1 (8 hour timer). Great rewards with the Grip 950 Special and you unlock the Brazil Secret District.

Mission Event: Wild Thing Walkthrough

Hey y'all, sorry I've been away. New business venture tore me away for a couple weeks. I'm going to try to get back into the informative nature of this blog.

In continuing with their back-to-back-to-back missions, the Bangkok mission ended and now we get the Wild Thing Mission Event. Without further ado:

Part 1:

Start off with only 4 supports from your mafia. Took me 36 fights to loot the 15 Big Cages. Make sure you activate the Lockpick position in Brazil for double loot for the last step. Took me 8 jobs to loot 12 at 459 energy per (6x2 successful loot jobs). You can also go back to District 1 and do the "Ask an Informant" job and loot them for 81 energy per click. Get your experience and Real and on to the next part.

Part 2:

Ice 4 opponents in Brazil. Job cost 351 energy and the Headquarters have an 8 hour collect timer. Great rewards with 5 animals at 87 attack. Should be in just about everyone's top 501.

Part 3:

Get 5 more supports from your mafia. 2-for-1 special with looting 12 Bird Cages while winning 16 fights. Black Market has a 23 hour timer (speed it up for 16 RP). No rewards again, but take the experience and move on.

Part 4:

Rob 18 times in Brazil. Took me 6 boards and almost 400 Stamina to loot the 12 Aquariums. Activate your Lockpick again. Job is 594 energy and requires a Gas Can also. Great animals again (sensing a theme?). You get 2 Kakas (79/92) which will help most again.

Part 5:

Ask for 5 Metal Containers (wall post help). 12 Smugglers are 8 Stamina each on the Fight List. Job costs 243 energy and a Gas Can. Don't forget you can build Gas Cans in your Brazil Property if you run short. Build 2 Weapons from the Depot (18 hour timer) and you're done.

Part 6:

You get 2 choices to acquire the 20 Motion Sensor Explosives. The first option is the 189 energy "Intimidate the Local Crime Ring" job or you can rob in Brazil. Cost me 310 Stamina to get the 20. 2-for-1 special again looting 12 Terrariums (took me 36 fights) while fighting 30 opponents. 2 King Cobras (80/62) are a bit of a step back in loot, but good nonetheless.

Part 7:

12 Fat Cat Bodyguards are 11 Stamina each on the fight list. Job costs 621 energy on Ruby level.

Part 8:

Activate 5 Brazil crew members (may take up to 8 hours to clear if you have all the spots filled already). Rob 12 Private Zoos (15 Stamina each) and loot 10 Exotic Animal Feeds from Robbing (took me 6 boards in NYC). Wish the reward had a little higher attack, but the Golden Tabby Tiger is pretty awesome anyways at 63/153. Collect and Done!!!

Nice little mission, shouldn't have to wait around for too many steps, but some of them are time consuming. Good Luck everyone and enjoy!!

Crack the Safe

Crack the Safe should finally be rolled out to everyone's accounts. This took weeks and although a lot of people were screaming that it wasn't fair, there is a cap to 100 times through on this, so eventually everyone should even out. The concept with this is that new players will receive 100 awesome loots on their way to 501 mafia. I know a lot of people are wondering about deleting mafia and friends to see if it would work, but it doesn't. If you delete from mafia and from facebook friends, then add all back, you don't get credit, so don't get any ideas :) Also, make sure you don't use the "Accept All" button on the Mafia recruit page as you will only get credit for 1 new member. Accept all MW requests individually. Be careful with adding friends on Facebook as there have been lots of players reporting 2 day blocks on friend adding and even some accounts being disabled and flagged as spammers due to excessive friend requests. Thrill of the Hunt Mission Walkthrough

A little different mission this time around cycling you through New York, Italy and Brazil. When it was first launched, there was 9 days to complete this mission, so most should already have a good start on this one. There are 9 parts to this mission so it's a little bit harder than the previous couple. Without further ado:

Part 1:

Not too bad on the supports from mafia this time. They are involved in 3 parts, but nothing more than 8. Part one requires 6 of them. Build 2 armors (18 hour timer) and 10 jobs in NyC (27 energy each).

Part 2:

Easy step for fighters. Fight 24 in NyC and ice 3 of them. Done.

Part 3:

Asking for Hot tips from Mafia auto-completed for me, but it is a wall post, so should be easy anyways. Rob (successfully) 15 times in NyC and loot 8 CSUs (21 energy per job).

Part 4:

Win 15 fights in Vegas. Take out 7 Bodyguards on fight list (10 Stamina each). 20 jobs and 1 vehicle build (18 hour timer).

Part 5:

Collect your Winery twice (6 hour timer). Loot 12 Alarm codes. It's easier if you do the original alarm code job - "Buy some Black Market Info" - in District 3 of Vegas. Almost 100% drop rate there. Take out 9 bodyguards (10 Stamina again).

Part 6:

This part requires 8 supports from your mafia (remind them to help in game and through facebook requests for double credit). Clear 1 robbing board in Italy.

Part 7:

Another one to knock out quickly. Win 18 fights in Italy and loot 10 Motor Oils from fights (Took me 71 fights in Italy to complete). 12 jobs and on to the next one.

Part 8:

Buy 2 Items from your Port (24 hour timer). Use the Gas Can job in Region 1 of Brazil for this step (54 energy on Ruby). Ice 7 more opponents in Italy.

Part 9:

Last 7 supports from your Mafia. Tenement has a 48 hour timer. Loot 12 BMPs from robbing (took me 7 boards in NyC). 15 jobs (16 energy). Cash out and done. Great Reward for finishing this with a 151 Attack and 87 Defense weapon.

Terminator vs. Rambo Event

The newest gifting event is similar to the Super Bowl event and the initial Man vs. Woman fighting event. You can collect 5 of each character which each take 10 of their respective gifts. It is in your best interest to collect 5 of each because at the end whoever has the most completions will win. The grand prize will either be the Get Down or Rambo's Head Band.

The Armory and Private Zoo are upgradeable to level 15 just like the Weapons Depots and Chop Shop. Here are the new build stats for both:

Armory -
Level 11-15 upgrade is 80 each (Hammer, Rivet, Furnace, Vice, Anvil)
Total 1-15 build is 161 each

Zoo -
Level 11-15 upgrade is 70 each (Aquarium, Big Cake, Bird Cage, Feeding Trough, Terrarium)
Total 1-15 build is 133 each

Brazil Precious Collection

Well, the Precious Collection in Brazil is one of the 3 most sought after collections in Mafia Wars now (joining the Lotto Collection and the new Superhero Collection). This is not giftable and is very hard to get. These can be obtained through collecting your Brazil properties, Daily Take Day 5, and from robbing Brazil properties. I have spent over 1 million stamina robbing in Brazil and have not received a single one, so don't get your hopes up. This collection initially will give you the My Precious Gun along with some stat boosters and can be revaulted once per day for a random reward. Be sure to activate the Guardian in your Brazil Crew as it will help from any Precious Gems you have from being stolen. You are safe from 1 of each being stolen without your Guardian in place, but if you have multiples of any, they can be stolen from your properties. Good luck with this collection and happy icing!

Against All Odds Mission Walkthrough

The newest Mafia Wars mission is heavily Vegas based and comes with new loot drops in Vegas as well. Without further ado - here we go!!

Part 1:
Get 6 helps from your mafia. Keep in mind that if your request you send out gets sent in-game too (from my experience, about half of these show up in your mafia's pop-up acceptance screen), that people can actually help you twice. Accept in-game and then accept through facebook requests. If you have some good people to rely on, this should go quick. Loot 10 Sets of Cards through robbing is pretty fast too. Took me 4 boards to get the 10 Sets.

Part 2:
Rob 15 times in Vegas (successfully). The 12 Stubborn Con Artists are 8 Stamina each on the fight list. Depends on timing, but the 2 builds in the Weapons Depot could take up to 36 hours (if you just built before starting this part). Remember - Plan ahead on these!!

Part 3:
Another 8 helps from Mafia (seems to be increasingly important in these). Take out 10 Neo - Imperium Operatives on the fight list (12 Stamina each). The last step is a bit misleading. Says to do "Break into a Luxury Suite" job in Vegas to loot Illegal Transaction Records. This job is 136 Energy if you already mastered it and the ITRs only have about a 10% drop rate. Go to the Steal Bank Records job in NYC and do the original ITR job for 27 Energy instead and the drop rate is almost 100%. This will save a ton of energy.

Part 4:
Ice 6 opponents in Vegas may take a while, but if you have enough Stamina, should be easy enough. Go to the robbing board and find a Table Games property to rob. If successful, click on the profile, then click rob and repeat 7 more times. After each rob, you will have to click the "Refresh (free)" button, but it's the quickest way to go. Top defense Vehicles rewarded here and 5 of them at that :)

Part 5:
Easy enough to fight 24 opponents in Vegas, and yes, it's really just 24 attacks. They don't have to be unique opponents. Clear one board in Vegas and collect from your Restaurant 3 times. This is a 12 hour timer, so it could take 36 hours on this one.

Part 6:
8 more helps. My job step auto-completed for me. Not sure if it will for all those who have mastered Vegas or not, but an easy step regardless. Defeat John Yun which isn't too hard and you are done. The boss had 22k health for me, but this number will vary. Took 6 hits though, so not too bad. Great mastery item and you are done!

Now, during this mission event, there is also 3x mastery in Vegas and 2 new loot drops from all jobs. The mastery gives you 3x the percentage of job mastery as well as 3x the cash from jobs. Once you reach 100% on an unmastered job though, the 3x cash stops and goes back to the original reward. Here's the two new drops:

Brazil Boss Missions - Ruby Level

Here's numbers 51-65. As you can tell from the space between posts on these, it will probably take you a few weeks. The health on these bosses vary from account to account, but just to warn you that on these missions, the health of my bosses was: 10k, 50k, 100k, 150k, 262.5k. The last one took me over an hour to beat so they are tough. Best advice on these is to START the boss fight in Vegas or Italy as it does the most damage. Will do more damage to you, but will be easier to beat the boss in the long run. Good luck with all of them. The improvements in loots are definitely worth it. Enjoy!!

Brazil Properties Build Guide

Wondering how many parts it takes you to upgrade all your Brazil properties? Well, here ya - a detailed guide of each of the 5 Brazil properties. The first 3 parts are giftable and can be obtained fairly easily. The construction workers and Brazilian timbers only drop from jobs and fighting. Just a ballpark figure, but in order to get all the Brazil specific parts, I spent around 400,000 stamina fighting in Brazil. They are included in the 5x loot drops, so when you pick them up, chances are you'll pick up a handful. Ask for help every 18 hours and you can get 5 from your mafia, but you can only ask for help on one or the other. Here's some pics and the stats/rewards. Rewards can be collected every 8 hours and can only be collected through the "Collect All" button.

Spy Hunter Special Event

Another event just like the Broken Hearts and Carnaval ones. You can collect 10 False Identities from each of the following: Jobs, Robs, and Fights. 40 a day through gifting. 15 a day through clicking wall posts (10 False Identity + 1 Golden Identity worth 5) and 5 a day through others clicking your wall posts. Plus there is the mini-game again, so there are lots of options. All told, you can get 90 + mini-game winnings per day. Only the top reward is worth more than current items you can loot.

A Vegas based mission with the usual 6 parts. Not too bad, but there are a few time consuming steps. Here ya go!!

Part 1:
Get 6 supports from your mafia. Should be easy enough if you have some good crew on your chat. Robbing 6 Hotels in Vegas can be a bit time consuming - I went through 20 full boards before I even found my 3rd to rob. Easiest way is to find a Hotel in the robbing board, then click on the profile and rob it 8 times. Loot 12 security keys should be 12 clicks worth now for most people (assuming you finished Vegas and vaulted the +10% loot drops collection).

Part 2:
With a 4 hour timer on your Slots, 3 collects could take up to 12 hours, but you have almost 7 days, so don't worry about it. Fight any 24 opponents (don't all have to be different, multiple attacks on same fighter count) and 15 clicks on the Black Market Info job.

Part 3:
12 supports from your mafia gets a little bit tougher. Click the Get Help button, select all the recommended and hope for the best. 10 Armed Guards in your fight list which are 10 Stamina each and this part is done.

Part 4:
Rob 15 times in Vegas, build 2 vehicles in NyC (could be up to 36 hours) and 10 clicks on the Car Dealer job.

Part 5:
If you have lots of Stamina, this is by far the easiest step. Fight 26 opponents and ice 4 in Vegas. It's nice because you can work on both parts at once.

Part 6:
Win 20 more fights, take out the Heavily Armed Guards (17 Stamina each) and win a war (16 hour wait) and you are all done!! The Exo-Skull Helm is a great reward, but chances are it's the only one that will help you throughout this whole mission.
