I know that I have been out of the net for a while, but I'm back and with a new show. My wife and I have combined Jazz, Poetry and Magic. We are ironing out the bugs, but stay tuned for a snippet of the act .

Another Booking

I was just booked for a magic performance in Richmond, Va on Thanksgiving Day. I am still trying to weld all of my pieces together to make an entertaining show. I want it to be at least 40 mins. I do balloons also, I just have not perfected blowing them up by mouth. I think it looks more entertaining if you can do it that way.

Back from the Beach

Well I’m back; the performance at the beach was successful, musically, which is what we went for, but I did not have an opportunity to perform magically. We were kept so busy; I had no time to perform like I wanted. I will update with pictures later.

Vacation/Work

I am getting ready for a performance in Myrtle Beach this weekend at The Breakers Hotel. My Wife and I are booked to perform musically, but I intend on slipping a magic performance in also; maybe talking to management about performing for hotel guests in the lounge.

On the Road

We had a show in Roanoke, VA this weekend and it was a success. I had the pleasure of opening up for the Magic Man, Cory Holder (See the my links on the sidebars). Cory is an exciting entertainer and I hope to be able to do more shows with him. This show was booked by Jamir Productions and Entertainment (also on the links sidebar). Who is This Man

This is Mitch Blackman. A Musician and a Magician. I started out playing Bass at a very young age and later added Guitar, Piano/Keys, and Drums to my repetoire. Upon being stationed in Germany in my early 20's, I met another soldier who would later teach me a few magic tricks and the rest is history. I was hooked. My whole military paycheck went to the Berliner Zauberkellar, the local magic shop in Berlin. And now, here I am, on my quest to do what I love, professionally.
