On what was a beautiful Autumn Sunday, Tara, Sam and Olly came down the highway from Bendigo to Brighton Beach.  We were fortunate enough to get to hang out with them and take some shots of their life and relationship before they tie the knot in December.

Tara and Sam are absolutely wonderful together.  Add in Olly and you have something that just keeps you smiling well after meeting them … something that many of us wish for … something that transcends all other emotions, even love.  It is a completeness where everything just fits.

When people meet, no matter where they are … sometimes it is simply meant to be.

The attraction for the other so strong, the personalities in sync … that an overseas trip where they do meet and the tyranny of distance between two states cannot stop love from blossoming.

Jamie and Ellie are two of these people. Whether luck or fate played a part in bringing them together matters not when back on home soil Jamie can pack up a life in Adelaide and move to Melbourne to be with Ellie.

That is love. That is Jamie and Ellie and we are terribly excited to share their day with you!

What to do on a warm and sunny day?  Head on over to the Queen Vic Market with two wonderful people, their gorgeous pups and a list of items required for the weekly shop!

Meet Ruth and Myles, two people who just “click”.  Be it the weekly ritual of heading to the markets, bringing to life a beautiful old house, or lazy walks around the Coburg Lakes, these guys just know how to live in the moment and take everything in their stride.

We cannot wait to photograph their wedding in December!

Sophie and Mark have a wonderful story to tell. It is one of meeting in a far flung place, bumping into each other on the way to another … and wondering what it would be like to move heaven and earth to see exactly where that spark would take them and doing just that.

What an honor and a privilege it was to be part of their big day. Daylesford, the sun, the warmth, the convent, family and friends. What more could you ask for?

The setting was perfect, but Mark and Sophie made the day spectacular.

This is only part of their story. A new chapter begins…

December is a lot of things; Christmas, Summer and holidays for many.  It is also a time for two fantastic people to show how much they dearly love each other by way of an engagement shoot.    Jeff and Hannah are made for each and well, as you will see, it shows.

We had plenty of fun with them running around Royal Park in Parkville and the inner ‘burbs of Brunswick and are really excited to be photographing what we will be a very original and wonderful wedding in July.

A couple of Sundays ago I pottered over to Kew to meet Meredith, Anil and their gorgeous little ladies Charlotte and Amelia.

Having just woken from a morning nap, it didn’t take the girls long to bring out the smiles and adorable cuddles.

At the Preston end of High Street lies one of my all time favourite melbourne shops, The Manufactory. Having recently moved from the neighbourhood it was a delight to head back over and potter around amongst the eclectic mix of of vintage homewares and ephemera, industrial furniture and new knick knacks.

If you don’t already know of The Manufactory and have an obsession with the mix of old and new it really is worth hopping on the 86 tram and having a look. If you are anything like me, there is no way you will be able to leave empty handed. -P
