I went from kind of wanting to be a chef to kind of wanting to own a bookstore that only sold books about food to kind of wanting to conduct cooking classes. I love food and I am good at cooking, and maybe more importantly I am good at the planning and choosing the best food for my family. So I thought why not be a Food Designer? There are fashion designers, interior designers, even web designers - what do they all do? They plan, sketch blueprints, go out and purchase their supplies, and then get to work to create a masterpiece. Why can't I do that with food? Why can't I help people do that with food? Everyone has to eat, so why not plan for, chose and cook food that is beautiful - like a website, evening couture or our living rooms? Food should be beautiful - as beautiful as you are.
