I stopped by for lunch today. The prices are comparable to Five Guys. The quality of the burger and fries was excellent, and they have Coke Zero.

Staff was a little over-attentive, I was asked 3 times if I was satisfied!

Definitely stop by if you are in Wynnewood Rd-Lancaster Ave vicinity.

FYI: This is in the old Alex Long space.

now that Maia is closed, what is next for this restaurant group? I can’t tell you how much we miss Basil! Please try again somewhere else with some menu highlights from Basil. We miss the neighborhood feel of Basil - perfect for any night, not just a special night.

When Grog first opened we went there frequently and really enjoyed it. Then the food took a bad turn and the service was even worse. After a long hiatus we decided to give it another try and the problems seem to have been corrected. We do only go on weekdays, however. I can’t say what the service might be like on a Friday or Saturday night. I am thrilled that they have made a comeback because they make my absolute favorite cheese steaks.

The Big Easy Saloon has a very creative menu and great nightly specials. When I was there I had an awesome Jambalaya salad and there world famous NOLA fries. The all u can eat prime rib on mondays is a great deal as well, only 15.99.It seems like The Paddock in Wayne tried to copy alot of what the Big Easy is known for,be original please that place is average at best. I reccommend this spot to anyone visiting the area or just out for a good dining experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. Try The Big Easy its awesome.

Moving to Rt 30 would conceivably give Meridith’s a big traffic boost, but the Bistro M spot is about as hidden as a rt 30 restaurant can be — we drove by dozens of times before we even noticed it. Hopefully Meridith’s will figure out a way to remedy that.

As far as Meridith’s quality… though they had many, many problems early on, the last 2-3 times we’ve been there have been great, both for brunch and dinner. We’d encourage anyone who hasn’t been in a while to give them another look.

Hopefully Meredith’s will resolve some of its long-standing problems with quality of food, service and over-pricing during this move. If Bistro M, which was much better-albeit a tad more pricey, couldn’t survive the location, Meredith’s has little chance unless it improves significantly. The owners should finally address >2+ years of poor reviews. I hope so. It will take more than a change of location to make Meredith’s a destination.
