So happy to have Major(ISH) back... I was so worried on the morning of the shoot. I didn't have a photographer and I didn't have a camera. I had to trail my butt to Wal-mart to buy a brand new camera. I wondered if the pictures would look decent and how dumb I would look with a simple digital camera. But to my surprise the pictures turned out very good. Allayna was a perfect model! She is sooo made for the runways of NYC. I really lucked out by finding her.

So, for this look I had to go for a very soft look. It dark but very sensual. My favorite color is black.. I love black dearly.. its so sexy, sophisticated and can be very demure which I think is the case here. People alway recognize black as being so negative but I find it to have its own little light. Its something very haunting and mysterious when a person wears black. That's why its so drawing.. there is something deep and unknowning about the color.

Hey I'm Elle.

I was suppose to be doing a magazine holiday feature but they canceled on me. I have a bunch of clothing and accessories being shipped from Los Angeles and NYC and its costing me money! I don't want to simply waste my money and send the clothing back!

So, if I can find a PROFESSIONAL AND EXPERIENCE Fashion photographer, model, make-up artist, and hairstylist, I would continue with the shoot!

Everyone gets the right to publish in portfolio or social networks ONLY! I will post pics on my fashion blog, http://www.majorish.com. If you do publish it on social networks I would ask that you please give everyone credit for their potion of the work.

Models need to be sample sizes 2/4. If you wear a 9/10 in heels that would be perfect!! White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, or anything.. EVERY ETHNICITY IS WELCOMED.

MAKEUP ARTIST/HAIRSTYLIST MUST HAVE THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT AND BE LOCATED IN ATLANTA.

Clothing for this shoot is very holiday party/cocktail party inspired. Lots of sparkles, glamorous gowns, beautiful accessories. Some of the name brands included Blaque Label, Muubba, Street Ahead, 80%20, and a bunch others!

I wanted to brighten things up a bit. I'm not very big on color and I figure the best way to work myself into a colorful mood is to work it in with some nudes. There are actually two main looks here. The first is with the orange chiffon draped overlays w/ asymmetrical hem skirt.. this is a bit romantic but I added some architectural and textured accessories. There is also the more chic and classic look with the green pencil skirt. The second look is very clean cut. You could easily layer the corset w/ a sheer top to give it an interesting twist.

TOTALLY GRUNGE INSPIRED.

I really dig this look because it looks hella comfortable a rocker, a little punk, and a lot of style. Another effortless look! I love this.. When I look at this outfit, I can't help but think garage band... plus its perfect for the cooler weather. You can always opt to wear a denim instead of the tights of course and add more layers.. like a cool sweater and the a maxi skirt for a more over-sized look.

BASIC FASHIONISTAS

Today, I wanted to keep things a little basic. These are just basic layering pieces that should and could already be in your closet. I totally believe in wearing an outfit more than once, twice, and at least 18 times.. lol. I really wanted to do something that is more fall/winter inspired. You could put a military jacket or coat with this just to keep the basic look and keep warm.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!... This dress is from Asos' Curve line and I love the peep-a-boo cleave... just perfect for a girl who needs a waist line (my noodle/ruler & apple body shaped women) or you need to hide a little tummy. This dress is perfect in every way.. down to the sleeves and hemline. I decided to add some color to this.. Yellow is such a powerful color with purple. Plus I wanted to add a dash of black and green. I love my black!

This is just a great look overall! I would rock this!

Both of these looks are inspired by my personal style! I love BLACK and I love leather! Both of these looks require you to be a little bit of a fashion brave heart cause PEOPLE WILL BE LOOKING!!! The first look above is perfect for a night out with the girls and I love it cause it will look just as hot with or without the jacket on!! The shoes are just an added badassness! I had to do it!!

Now this look was kinda inspired by a look I saw from Lady Gaga a few days ago.. BUT this look has some color to it with the pumpkin orange blouse! I love the tail of the blouse then added with the tuxedo jacket makes it look so formal. I wanted to add a spike necklace and knuckle ring to make it tough.. more street. The leggings are just cool!!! and you are gonna need a cool boot to wear this look.. LOVE THIS!

I pretty much wanted to do something that reflected warmth against coolness.

MAC Studio Fix+

“Blue Box” Lashes (Choose what you prefer. I used a lash but natural look.)

Step by Step:

Take the NYX Chrome Brown on a brush and spritz it with the MAC Studio Fix+ and spread it across your lid. This will be your base/primer.
Next, use the NYX Ultra Peal Mania in Bronze and spritz it with the Studio Fix+ and apply it to the inner corners of eyes and blend.
Then, use a dark brown from the Coastal Scents 88 Palette and blend it along the outer corners of your eyes and crease. You can also blend towards your brow bone.
Also in the 88 Palette, use the light tan color and sweep it on your brow bone and blend it into the dark brown. With this, you can use and blend the pink part of the NYX “Push Up Bra for Brows” Pencil underneath the arch with your ring finger.
Fill in eyebrows with NYX Brow Pencil in Dark Brown. (Or whatever color best matches your brows) Remember light strokes until you’ve found the right thickness of your natural brows.
For the blush, apply with ring finger; from your apples of your cheek moving towards your hairline and down to help lighten (and blend) the pigment. You can use more as you apply to get to the achieved look. If you’re not familiar with using cream blush, use powder. Still, go from apples to hairline, then down.
Back to eyes: From the 88 Palette, use the teal pigment and use a liner brush to apply to bottom lash line (spritz with Studio Fix+) and wing out. Then use from the 120 Palette, the shimmery turquoise over the teal.
Apply NYC Liquid Eyeliner to lashline and slightly wing out alongside the teal wing. Then apply lashes. And after that dries, another coat of liner. For lips: Use the KISS Lipstick in Tea Rose as a lipstain by using a finger to pat the color on and go over that with NYX Girl Lipgloss in Honey. And your look is DONE.
