With so many dot com domain names registered on the web, it becomes an uphill task to get the domain names you desired for your website. In fact, getting a good domain name is important for your site. It's like an address to your house. You want it to be easy to remember and at the same time matches your site content.

Here is one way which I learned on creating a domain name that suit your site even when it's taken away. For example, your site is on internet marketing. Obviously, internet marketing.com is taken up by others. Now, you have to think of another. Maybe, you could have a descriptive web address like internetmarketingisfun.com which is also easier to remember. Hope this helps you in forming your domain names.

Singapore Currency is now on PayPal list finally!

The new currencies are the Czech Koruna, Danish Krone, Hong Kong Dollar, Hungarian Forint, New Zealand Dollar, Norwegian Krone, Polish Zloty, Singapore Dollar, Swedish Krona, and Swiss Franc.

PayPal announced that it now supports payments in 10 new currencies, allowing customers to send, receive and hold funds in a total of 17 currencies worldwide. These new currencies add to those already available to PayPal customers, including US Dollars, Australian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, Canadian Dollars, Japanese Yen and Chinese RMB.

PayPal also announced that residents in 48 new markets can now use PayPal in their local markets to send money online. These new markets include Indonesia, the Philippines, Croatia, Fiji, Vietnam and Jordan. A complete list can be viewed here.

"International expansion is a key part of PayPal's growth strategy, and we are thrilled to expand our services to 103 markets and support 17 currencies worldwide," said Dana Stalder, senior vice president, PayPal. "With these new offerings, PayPal continues to make domestic and cross-border trading easier and more convenient for its millions of customers around the globe."

PayPal currently has 114 million accounts globally. In the second quarter of 2006, PayPal's total payment volume - or the total value of transactions - was $8.9 billion. The addition of new payment options and the expansion into new markets helps PayPal customers trade domestically, and helps sellers expand cross border trading.

Internet Marketing Online Conference

Oh! I can't help it but to blog immediately after attending Stuart Tan's online internet marketing conference. Today's conference is on Affilate Marketing. I could tell you I learned so much things in a short span of 2.5hrs and what's more, he is providing this for free (for a short period of time.Now it's trial for him to test the captabiliy of his conference program.). 3 Hrs ago, I was still very lost with affilate marketing especially after joining in Ewen Chia's secret affilate weapon membership. He gave me the products set up all the forms and everything and what i need to do is to sell. Before the conference, I don't know how to deal with this whole chunk of materials that I have from Ewen Chia. Now, I really know where to sell and how to sell. Suddenly, I see shed of light in affilate marketing after trying it out for one month without much results.

I could tell you by far the best coach in this field I have ever met. Recently, I mentioned that I went to a preview seminar by an organisation which claimed to provide training in internet marketing for free to its member. They are doing so to create credibility and testimonials. (Click here to read the previous post-Rare Opportunity or Scams?.) I think I should not cite which organisation it is here. It's not very nice to do so here.

This is what I found out about this organisation. They claimed themselves to be expert. They lie their way through to the beginners saying that these methods work. However, when I do a research on this, I found out that these methods are outdated or simply label as scams/spams. Let me give you an example. They claimed that pinging blogs work to bring massive traffic to your site. A check on that expert who claimed this works, his blog in fact has a page rank of 1 and I found alot of things which he should not do on a webpage. He actually placed a whole chunk of repeating similar keywords at the bottom end of the webpage hoping search engine will tag his site and give him higher ranking. This is not going to work. This is an unethical mean of search engine optimatization and he claimed himself to be an expert cheating on beginners.

Actually, I found out that most of these self-claimed experts are reiterating information which they found on the net. If these abundance information on the net works, 95% of the people won't fail in internet marketing. My advice for you is to find a reliable source and build up relationship with them.

Now, having a comparisan between Stuart and this so called 'expert', Stuart is much better than him. Don't believe me? Go to Stuart's site and see for yourself the tons of information that he is providing on his blog and compare it with the ones you read elsewhere. I am sure you will see the big difference!

Yesterday, I attended a workshop and discovered the power of forum. To a normal surfer, a forum is a place for discussion on different topics and getting tips from experts. However, to an internet marketer, it's a tool for generating traffic.

I just found a plenty good website which explains with examples the kind of scams out there and how do we can actually detect it ourselves.
