As an Catholic, this is the time of year when we have to give up something for lent. Lent, is a Christian tradition, is the period of the liturgical year leading up to Easter. This lent season last for 40 days, where we have to "give up" or "fasting" for any kind of food, festivities, and by other acts of penance. Some people gave up meat, smoking, alcohol, clubbing, fast foods, and for me, i gave up SHOPPING. Yes, shopping is one my fave thing to do when i am bored, sad, depressed, happy, any mood i am, shopping makes me happy. =D. And so far, i am doing a good job for not shopping for almost a month. There are times when i feel tempted, but other things distract me so the urge to shop stop. =] But once in awhile, i would wander my eyes here and there... I've been eying on these for a while now and just want to share with you all. =]

Hey everyone, i know i been skipping blogging again, but i have my reasons for the cause of that. My car got stolen last week and i've been weeping over it since now. It did not came back fully recovered, so i had to let the car go. Now i have to look for a car to buy which really sucks cuz i am dead broke! This has been a bad year for me, i donno what God plans is for me but as of now, i am stressed about everything! Money, car, school, blah blah blah...i hope blogging again will be my stress reliever so i don't have to weep over this bad luck tragic! Tutorials and month favs. things will be posted up soon. I recently told you all that my other hobby is photography, i've studying and taking pictures for around 2 months now. My two real photoshoots that i took myself is my friend's maternity pictures and my sister's engagement session. For now, i will be posting my sis's engagements pictures first, we took about 500+ pictures, and these are the few that i edit so far. Hope you all like it. =D

Hey everyone, i know its been awhile since the last time i blog, just so busy with many things and haven't caught up blogging! Well i just want to say that i am back! Just want to say Happy New Year to those that follow my blog these past years. My new year resolution for this year is to blog, blog, blog! =] Just blog about everything, my travel trips, beauty, fashion, photography, and everything else! I been traveling to a couple of places these past months since summer, and wanted to share with you all where i went(That will be posted later). So please stick by me all the way! I really need your support to make this blog better!

My second new year's resolution is to also carry out my interests more. I love photography for a long time but never really got a chance to do anything about it. So this year, i am saving up money for a camera and lens to start off my "obsession" LOL. For now i am using my BF's camera. I been playing around with it this past month and i am LOVING it! I have a Flickr website and will posting that up for you all to see soon.

Anyways, back to beauty, i really admired Rhianna's makeup whenever she's on red carpet. So this is one of the inspiration i found really chic and cute on her and wanted to try it out for myself.

My take on her look. =]

1. I use regular black gel liner to make a winged look, after that, i use a blue color glitter pencil and traced around the top of the black eyeliner.

2. This is what it look like, added with some falsies.

3. Then i use a brow orange blush on my cheeks, what i am using here is Mac Melba blush color.

4. Next apply a fuchsia color lipstick, this is Mac Pink Nouveau lipstick

5. The finish look! Hope you guys like it!

Eyelashes update!

Hey girls, I've been trying Revital lash product for quite awhile now and realized that it is such a great product for those who has shorter eyelashes. For me, I have short, thin hair lashes. But since I use Revital lash for a couple of months, i do see results! I was a bit skeptical but tried it anyways! Here are the results...

Product Rating: 4/5
-If you want fast results for thicker, longer lashes, this product might not be for you. This baby takes at least 2 months for results. So if u have patience then I recommend it!

I also heard good reviews of LI LASH, anyone used it yet?? IF yes let me know how it turns out!? =]

This is a great mascara that I am currently using, its inexpensive and super waterproof! My lashes curl so well with this mascara. Its MAX Factor waterproof mascara in Hydrofuge.

Hey girls, sorry its been so long since i post anything, its just some difficulties on my blog layout and seems like nothing is updated eventhough I do write new post. But somehow it doesn't get update on other bloggers site when they added me on their bloglist. So I kind of got discourage to write now! =[

Anyways, this month is pretty busy cuz I got 2 midterms and so many homework that I dont even have time to blog. However, I am on my spring break now and taking my time to chill. =]
I went to Marukai supermarket in Costa Mesa couple days ago and got this Sebum makeup remover that I heard many good reviews about. It was on SALE for only $9.80 something...online they sell if for $13.00 not including shipping!

So I got really excited and got 2 of them. They had 3 different type of removers but couldn't understand Japanese so I got the one the many people do reviews on.

It does feel like water, theres no oil residue. Removes my makeup well!!! I think I am gonna start to fall in love with it! =]

This is my results...( I had a photoshoot that day and wanted to try it out how well it removes my makeup) You be the judge!!!

School girl doll look and ebay haul

Hey guys, sorry its been awhile. I did a haul for a last couple weeks and wanted to just do a review on them once. Thats why it took a while because I had to wait for it all to come at once. Anyways, I bought a 120 Manly e/s palette, 28 blush palette and the 66 lip palette on Ebay. The 120 palette comes from a different seller. But the other two is from a different seller. If you want to know where I bought it from, please email or comment me, I will link you to there.

The look I am going for today is doll look using all my palettes that I bought! All the colors are so pigmented as you can tell in the pictures. I am in love with my lip palette and my blush palette! They were actually better than what I expected from them. If you are interested in the product, I highly again recommend it! =]

What I have on:

FACE:
-Mac select foundation in NC40
-Pressed powder
-Pink blush using my 28 blush palette

EYES:
-Bare study paint pot as a base
-using 4 colors on my 120 manly shadows
-coastalscent gel liner in black

Gel liner review and new Layout!!!

How do you guys like my new layout??? So far i am liking it, but there are some problems that i still need to figure out.

Anywayssss..I had a hard time buying the coastalscents gel liners in the color True Black, they are always been out of stock and I just couldn't wait any longer. So I went on ebay to check out some shadows palette they had, and I found this SELLER that also sell the gel liners the same as Coastalscents. I was so thrill because they were "in stock".

Anywho, so I got myself the gel liner in True Black , 66 lip palette (coastalscents was out of those too), and the 28 blush palette. The shipping took around 2 weeks since it was shipped from China. I will do the review on those palettes soon because I am waiting for the 120 e/s palette to arrive home so I can do all the reviews at once. But for now, I want to do the review on the Gel Liner. And seriously, I LOVE this liner! I think even more than the Mac fluidline! =P

PROS:
-easy to work with
-the color are darker than the fluidline
-creamy, a tad creamier than the Mac fluidline
-waterproof!
-smudge proof!!
-last a long time!!!
-CHEAP!!!!

CONS:
-None

I really recommend this gel liner! My JANE gel liner is so dry up now,
I had to blow dry it for it to melt a lil bit to use. =[

Even after I washed my face, the gel liner is still on. It really means what it claims! LOL

Hey guys, i am getting tired of the layout on my blog and really need to update it, however, if i change my layout, some of my widgets will be gone, like my followers, ads, etc. There is a way to keep all this but I am not a computer pro so I can't edit some codes, I did google but havent find a way yet. My friend tried and helped me. But it doesnt work. So if any of you guys know how to save some widgets for a new template please let me know!!! Thank you so much! If not, I will be updating this blog layout soon and will lost everything. So if any of you are my followers, thanks for following and if you don't see any update from me, its because of the widgets that got deleted. I will add it up again once I get a new layout. Sorry for the inconvience.

Clinique cream cleanser review

Hey girls, sorry for the long update, I've been studying for my Bio class and don't have time to do any fotds, or reviews. Please forgive. =]. Anyways, I went to the CCO (Cosmetic Company Outlet) at The Block yesterday and found this Clinique cream cleanser that also removes your makeup and leave your skin healthy and soft looking without that dull dryness. Sounds decieving, so I bought it for around $14.00, orginal price is around $17.oo.

The reason I bought this was because I need a face cleanser that actually removes my makeup and those stubborn waterproof mascara. I don't like using makeup removers so muchbecause they have so much oil residue on my face after. So yea, I finally found the face cleanser I needed but become very dissappointed after I used it! =[

I wanted to test it out to see if it does really means what it said, so I put on my waterproof mascasra and gel liners in a torquois and black color. After I apply on the cream and gently rub it around my eyes to remove the makeup, then wash my face with water, but it hasn't completely comes off! So I had to do it again! Yes, it was very dissappointing that it doesn't removes my makeup as it said. If any of you guys know any other cleansers that can removes makeup please let me know!

Mac HK glitter liner review

As many of you girls know, I bought this glitter liner from he Mac hello kitty collection and wanted to test to see how it turns out, and you guessed it right, I LOVE IT!! It is not like any glitter liners you see, its pigmented, sparkly, dries quickly and actually stays on your skin! I love this glitter liner so much and now I am thinking of buying more colors at Mac! I especially love this color because its so natural and sparkly, it great for just going out on the daily basis, because it doesn't make you feel like you have to wear this for the night life only. I recommend this Mac glitter liner for anyone who loves glitter and aren't afraid to use them!!

( I havent tried any other brand besides Mac, I heard that NYX has glitter liners too but don't know if they are as good as Mac)

PROS:
-comes in great colors, dries fast, pigmented, and lasts for long time!

CONS:
-NONE!!!

Hey girls! I went to Mac yesterday and got myself a little HK haul that most every beauty blogger has been talking about. I must admit that I was anxiously waiting for the HK to come out. I got myself a NC40 lidquid foundation, HK Lucky Tom e/s palette, Her Glitz glitter eyeliner, and She Loves Candy lipgloss. I know that I didnt buy much because I plan to save money for the brush sets they have. Anyways, I am still debating to get the second e/s palette, what do you guys think???

Hey girls, sorry been so long since i blog again...Anyways, remember when i got my Flirt! eyeshadow palette? Well, since it was in the box, and there was so lid or anything, so i had to come up with an idea of where to put all those. I saw couple tutorials on Youtube showing how to make your eyeshadow palette using a cd case. I got the idea from EnkoreMakeup, so check him out on Youtube! I really admire his makeup skills and ideas! Here is my result. There were some extra e/s so i tried to make it all fit in one of the palette.

What I used to make this palette is just simply a old cd case, and glue or tape to adhesed on the e/s to the cd case.

I cordinate the colors from purples to pinks, browns, blues to green. Hope you guys find this helpful!

Hey again! This week is a busy week for since I start school again...urggh.. Anywho, I know Valentine's Day is coming soon and I came up with another look for you guys! This look fall to the category of blues, purples and pinks. For these shadows colors, I use my coastal scents 88 shimmer palette. I used to love shimmer shadows very much, but now I don't anymore because when I take pictures, my eyes seem to come off really shiny. So I am planning to get the 88 regular palette with more satin and matte finishes.

What I have on:
Eyes;
-Scandalous e/s base
-88 shimmer palettes(uses mostly blues, and pinks)
-NYX Dollface mascara in black volume
-Jane gel liner

Cheeks:
-La Femme blush in rusted rose

Lips:
-Lip palette i got from VN, its a light magenta color

Hey girls, yesterday I went to Sally's beauty supply store to get myself a hair curler. I've been searching online to find the perfect hair curler, but its always been the expensive kind, which I can't afford! So I just went to Sally's and got myself a Jilbere 1 inch hair curler, and its a pretty good one out of the other brands I got at Walmart. Its cost $30.00 for this curler, heats up to 395 degree Fahrenheit and I think it might be worth it!

I did this tutorial on how to do wavy hair, its pretty well said and done with the pictures!

My makeup look for this FOTD is basically using Mac Fluidline in Blacktrack, NYX Eucalyptus round lipstick and some falsies! Very retro but fun look for V-day! Hope you guys enjoy!

1. This is me with straight hair

2. Section your hair in half and start to curl the bottom part like so...

3. Leave it for about 8-10 seconds and take it out, it will look similar to this..

4. The outcome when I curl all of it

5. After its been curl, use your hands to comb through the curls(don't worry if it get straight, we'll get to the hairspray)

6. Then use your finger to twist the curl into place.

I think its been awhile since I do FOTDs, but here is another one for yah. This look is my first look on purple and magenta I think...? =/.

I would say this look will be great for Valentine's Day since I know most ladies who will be going on dates and spending time with their love ones. So I created this look using magentas and purples! Hope you guys like it. I think I will use this look for my date for V-day! LOL

So there was a Mac sale 25% around 3 weeks ago and of course I had to take that great chance to buy something off on Mac website. My package arrives about 7-10 days after I purchase my order. I bought about 10 items using my Mac gift card I got from Christmas! I was kind of disappointed that some of the things on Mac was either sold out or out of stock!
