I'm using Cosmos Eyelash Applicator in this video. This applicator exactly does the job, with ease and precision. It allows me to fit the false lashes close to my eye lids. So far, I haven't read any reviews about L'egere Purifying BB Facial Peeling Gel. I came across a Taiwanese mask called Deary few weeks ago and I thought of sharing it here. I don't know why these days I'm just so crazy about Taiwanese, Japanese, and Korean stuff. At the moment, Taiwanese, Japanese, and Korean stuff are quite popular on the net, although these stuff are not a brand that particularly caught my attention before… All I can say, these masks are very worth their affordable price, work really well for me, and I highly recommend them. I really love the results alot! I left mine on for about 15-30 minutes and I could see the difference obviously. I really enjoyed it, the next day my skin felt smooth and even!

Here's what I've bought (from left to right):

1. Deary Rose Co-Q10 Mask
Functions: Firming and rebuild skin collagen.
Best for: All skin types, especially wrinkles, fine lines, and less elastic skin.

2. Deary Chamomile and Arbutin Mask
Functions: Whitening and minimizing pigmentation.
Best for: All skin types, especially pigmentation, freckles, and uneven skin tone.

3. Deary Pearl and Vic. C Mask

Functions: Hydrating and repairing dry skin

Best for: All skin types, especially dry skin and dull skin tone.

How to use:

1. After cleansing, wipe it dry, gently apply the mask for 15 minutes.
2. Peel off the mask.
3. Tab the remaining essence all over your face. Do not need to rinse with water.
4. Use it daily or 3 times weekly.

How To Exercise The Face

Facial exercise works well and great for toning up the muscles of the face and neck as facial muscles loose firmness. Unlike plastic surgery techniques, they do not stop the aging process; muscles in the face continue to make their downward slide dragging the skin unnaturally, creating the need for more and more surgical procedures. With exercise, the muscles become stronger, the skin looks revitalized and lifted. Most importantly, facial exercises can be performed inexpensively at home. These exercises if they are done correctly and every day will greatly improve the look and expressiveness of your face. Just a few minutes a day and you'll see amazing positive changes in your face in just a few weeks.

Here's some effective facial exercises:

1. Open your mouth wide as if you are ready to scream, spread wide your eyes, stare ahead; and then revert to original position. Do it five times. Then repeat it five times while moving your head to left and to right.

2. Press your forehead (near the hairline) with your fingers and rub it with backward motion. Lines on the forehead, if any, will disappear by smooth rubbing.

3. Open your mouth wide and slide back your head. Now, open and close your mouth while moving your jaw as if munching. This action of opening and closing your mouth gives a good exercise to your mouth and jaw. Do it ten times.

4. Sit in front of your mirror. Twist your lips inward. Puff your mouth with air inside it. Now, let there be a laugh on one half of your face once, and on the other half next. Do it ten times in all. It will smooth your cheeks.

5. Keep your face straight in front of a mirror. Press your teeth and spread your lips. Count ten and revert to normal pose. Do it ten times.

6. Twist lips, puff up cheeks with air in them, keep three fingers on each side and press slowly, without letting the air blow out. Remain in this pose for ten minutes. This is an effective exercise for cheeks and mouth.

Makeup Tips for Dark Skin

Makeup not only looks good on fair skin, but also looks great on dark skin. The key is to know what particular makeup to use. Here's some of the makeup tips for dark skin.

1. Foundation
The best foundation for dark skin is water-based as dark skin has a tendency to look oily, and using cream foundation will only worsen the effect.

2. Loose Powder
Follow up the foundation with a dust of loose powder. Be careful not to over dust, especially around the eye area.

3. Eyeshadow
Shades of brown and bronze are very flattering on dark skin and also dark metallic colors. White or very light colors will look great on fair skin, but they will not have the same effect on dark skin. Purple and blue hues may also look great on dark skin.

4. Eyeliner
Outline the eyes with dark eye lining pencil. Eyeliners in black or chocolate brown is preferred.

4. Mascara
Thicken your eyelash with at least two coats of dark mascara to draw attention to the eyes.

5. Highlight
Use a highlighter on the bridge of your nose, around your eye or above the cheek bones and upper lip.

6. Lipstick
When choosing the right shade of lipstick, go for more intense colors, like dark reds or corals. Lipsticks in burgundy will also look pleasing on dark skin.

7. Blush
For blush, warm colors in rose or deep orange are highly recommended for dark skin. If you are going to a night of fun and entertainment with friends, you may add a bit of drama to your cheeks by dusting your cheeks with a hint of gold color.

I always love the smokey eye look. It's very popular among young women as well as older women because the look is versatile and sexy. This look is also appropriate for any occasions. The key to the perfect smokey eye is proper blending.

Let's start with the following simple steps:

1. Prep the lid (I use MAC Painterly Paint Pot)

2. Apply black pencil eyeliner (I use MAC smolder eye kohl)

3. Smudge it!

4. Highlight brow bone (I use MAC Phloof Eyeshadow)

5. Add dark brown colour on the outer corner (I use Coastal Scent eyeshadow)

6. Blend it!

7. Apply eyeliner to the bottom lid (I use MAC smolder eye kohl)

8. Smudge it! And, that's the finished look!!

Homemade Acne Treatments

I found an interesting article about homemade acne treatments right from your own kitchen. Homemade remedies (for acne) are considered much better than drugs, less risky, no side effects and cheaper. For those who have acne problems, I think this article might be useful. Check it out!

1. Cleanse-Tone-Moisturize
The very basic step starts by ensuring that your skin is free of all impurities. Dirt is a home to acne and pimples. Usually open pores invite dirt and dirt converts to black heads. Black heads when inflame result in acne completing the whole breakout cycle. Thoroughly cleansed skin will prevent breakouts, toning will close opened pores and moisturizing will leave your skin fresh and healthy.

2. Use sugar as a scrub
After washing face with a mild face, wash rub wet face with sugar grains. This will act as a scrub as the grains will exfoliate and dislodge impurities from the pores. Wash off face again with cold water. Continue for two weeks to get good results.

3. Paste of turmeric powder, neem leaves and sandalwood powder
Grind neem leaves and mix with 1tsp sandalwood powder and ½ tsp turmeric powder. Add milk or rose water to smooth the consistency. Make a thick paste and apply on the acne. Let it dry on the affected areas and then rinse off. Turmeric powder has magical antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties whereas neem leaves will act as good astringent. Sandal wood will moisturize the skin making this mask work wonders for your skin.

4. Apply grated potato
Grate potato and apply on the whole face. Potato used as a poultice is a good absorbent and will remove dirt and oils from your skin. Side by side it will also free you from problems such as dark circles, puffy eyes, wrinkles, blemishes and acne marks.

5. Cinnamon Powder and honey
Make a paste of cinnamon powder and honey mixed in the ratio of 1 is to 3 respectively. Apply on the face overnight and wash with lukewarm water next morning. Cinnamon's antimicrobial properties will help fight pimples whereas honey will add glow to the skin.

6. Cucumber Juice with Rose Water or Lemon Juice
Apply cucumber juice mixed with rose water with the help of a cotton ball on the face, if you have normal or combinational skin. If your skin is oily add ½ tsp lemon juice as well. Cucumber juice is a very god astringent and apart from cleansing your skin it will also tighten the pores while retaining the moisture content.

7. Orange Peel
Rub a fresh orange peel on the affected areas. You can also grind it, mix with a few drops of water and then apply on the face. Keep it on for 20 to 30 minutes and then wash off. Citric acid and vitamin C in the orange will refresh your skin and gradually relieve you of acne.

8. Paste of Oatmeal and Rose water
Make a paste of oatmeal with rose water and scrub your face with it. It will absorb all the extra oils and clean the skin of all impurities. Replace rosewater with lemon juice if your skin is too oily and fresh milk if you have a dry skin.

9. Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree oil is an antiseptic and fungicide. Mix one teaspoon of Tea Tree Oil with a quarter glass of water. Dab a cotton pad and apply on your face. Let it dry and don’t rinse off. If you find it strong you can increase the amount of water. Moisturize your skin afterwards.

10. Exercise regularly and Drink a lot of Water
All the external applicants will be completely ineffective if you skip this. Regular exercise will increase healthy blood flow and release toxins from your body that create acne. Regular hydration through at least 8-10 glasses of water will do the same. However, make sure that you regularly cleanse your skin after sweating to avoid clogging of pores again.

Clogs are back for spring/summer 2010!! Now you can start wearing them again!! Chanel did them. So did Louis Vuitton. I personally will never wear them because they just look so bottom heavy and just not right to me. But, I used to wear and love clogs back in primary school, and owned a few pairs actually. But, if you are at all fashionable in any sense, then go for it! I don't think they are wearable in everyday stuff, but if you wear them right they can look cute (I guess)!! I still think that they are better for the runway... What do you think?
