Emma Willis, Director of Artistry at Blushington Makeup & Beauty Lounge in West Hollywood, dishes how to get Kate Beckinsale’s Golden Globes look!

Kate Beckinsale had that gorgeous bronze glow to her that made her eyes pop! Re-create this look at home with these few simple steps:

Apply a light veil of radiance or illuminating foundation to the face and make sure to blend well…..apply it to the T Zone area and blend out!! Next, cover any little blemishes and dark circles under the eyes with a little concealer.

Warm the cheeks and forehead with bronzer – be careful to choose a warm tone of bronzer, as some can be too orange!

Next, take a golden, bronze shadow and work into the eyelids and then bring underneath the lower lash line -blend and buff well to leave soft edges.

*You can enhance the eye a little more by adding a darker shade of bronze into the socket of the eye! Fully line inside the lower water line of the eye and the secret to making the eye really “pop” is to line the UPPER inner water line as well…..really works!!!

With these expert tips from Emma, just add mascara and a little clear, shimmery gloss and you’ll be one step closer to looking like the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale.

My favorite sunblock comes from Neutrogena. I love their products with “Helioplex” technology which guards your skin against both UVA and UVB Rays. Did you know that UVB Rays can penetrate your car’s windshield? Not only does this product protect you from getting a nasty sunburn, it can help safe guard your skin against harmful Cancer causing rays. Call me crazy but I’m in love with their Age Shield Face 110 SPF. Yep, 110 SPF. My face is as pale as a porcelain doll, but it’s sun-spot and sunburn-free!

DON’T Itch Mosquito Bites

It’s inevitable to get bit every now and again, even with bug spray.  Number one rule, don’t itch!

DO Treat Bites

Treat bites by cooling the skin with an ice pack. If the pain or itching persists, try a topical soothing ointment like Burt’s Bees Bug Bite Relief

Have fun in the sun, but be safe!

I have to admit the first time I saw these egg-shaped sponges, I thought these would never work for my technique in applying makeup. To my surprise, upon actually putting a Beauty Blender to use, I now cannot live without and, these cute little pink eggs, have found a permanent home in my ZÜCA.
