Just in time for Spring 2018, L’oreal Paris released this Lumi collection of highlighters. I am absolutely every product in this range and in this post, I am bringing the swatches of all products.
These L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Glow Collection of highlighters are so dreamy! I really love it when a drug store brand releases the products that are of same quality as that of the high-end ones. L’oreal True Match Lumi Collection is no exception. From liquid to loose powder, cream and powder highlighters. These products are all meant for multi-purpose. Every skintone can find their match. Powder Highlighter palettes are pretty too.

To use as highlighter: apply a lighter shade then your skintone above cheekbone, forehead, cupids bow and chin.
To use as contour: apply a darker shade than your skintone to contours of cheeks.
Shades & Formula – Available in 4 shades to suit every skintone- Light Glow, Fair Glow, Natural Glow, Deep Glow. The texture is very light weight. Easy to blend and apply. Shades 901 and 902 have a shimmery-frost finish. Shades 903 and 904 have a luminous finish and they apply more easily.
Longevity – I like the shade ‘Fair Glow’ ; It really illuminates the face and prepare your face for the foundation application. I felt it’s similar to the MAC strobe cream. I like to apply it after my primer application and then apply foundation on top of it. For a illuminated effect – I love the shade ‘Natural Glow’ and shade ‘deep glow’ for a radiant bronzey look.
You can also use the shade ‘Deep Glow’ on your legs and hands for a sunkissed glow. Perfect glow enhancer. With its radiant luminous texture, it delivers a beautiful sheen to the face and body. Don’t expect this to substitute your daily moisturizer. It’s not making that claim anyways. So, use it after moisturiser

Shades, Formula – LUMI Glow Nude highlighter palettes are a collection of 4 highlighting powders in one makeup palette. The texture is not as soft as I thought. Some shades are quite powdery.
Pigmentation – I am not a fan of the formula. It’s not as pigmented as I thought it is. The shades are of medium pigmentation.
Longevity – The shades when blended looks beautiful and give a really nice sheen. Stays upto 5 hours

Shade, Formula – These highlighting glow drops have a slightly thick formula, blends easily to a thin non-greasy texture that blends seamlessly into skin. It doesn’t leave your skin oily. That’s something I like about this formula.
Pigmentation – Pigmentation is fabulous. Love that it doesn’t disturb my foundation. Shade ‘ Golden Hour’ is my favorite. It’s a very intense shade and blends beautifully for a beautiful sheen on the face.

Packaging – I found it difficult to use the loose powder highlighter because of this packaging. it’s very messy and the tub has to be always on straight position. Else, it’s really messy making it super hard to take the color on the brush. definitely not travel friendly. To avoid the mess and product wastage. I found a solution, I took out a little bit of the product in a empty loose powder jar and use it. Just dip the brush, tap off the excess and apply.
Shade – This versatile highlighting illuminator powder, available in 2 universal shades, can be worn by all skin tones. Use the ‘Moonlight’ shade for a cool prismatic glow. Use the ‘Sunlight‘ shade for a warm prismatic glow.
Formula – The loose powder highlighter is super finely milled and they apply beautifully on the skin. Shade ‘Moonlight’ is more of a unicorn iridescent with purple undertones. Shade ‘Sunlight’ has warm golden undertones. perfect for everyday look. Shades are buildable for a highlighter glow and for a bare touch. You can just pop little bit of color on the high points of your face. Use a tapered blush for a precise finish.

Enhance your glow using the L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi highlighter collection. Each True Match Lumi foundation and illuminator offers shades that can flatter any skin tone and undertone, for glowing coverage and instant luminosity. They are awesome and great value for money. Except for the Highlighter palette, I loved every other products so much. Highlighter Palettes have medium pigmentation and you only get a subtle glow wit it. You may need to layer it multiple strokes to get a intense glow. Glow enhancers are my favorites. I use them almost everyday and it has totally replaced all my other strobing creams.

Highlighter is not a normal part of my routine, so I never want to invest in an expensive one in case I don’t end up liking it. Maybe these would be a good entry point!
