Roma to Start in Kollywood with a Negative role.

In the movie ‘Vanjikottai Valiban’ , P Vasu’s son Shakthi plays the lead in this film, and is being paired with popular Malayalam actress Roma. Sadhaga Paravaigal Ramesh, who is known for his live performances in light music concerts, will be launched as a music director. Bollywood cinematographer Gopi cranks the camera in the film.

Krithika and Bhagavath Singh under the banner Gandharva Celluloid Creators producing the movie and SK Jeeva, who has earlier directed Karthik’s ‘Lovely’ and Parthipan’s ‘Pudhumaipithan’, returns after a long time with this film.

Mammoty's latest flick "Pattanathil Bhootham" is again postponded to next week. As per latest reports the movie is shifted from July 2 to july 9th. The movie is postponded due to the delay in the final works of the movie. The new malayalam movie "Pattanathil Bhootham" features superstar mammooty in double role and Kavya madhavan as the heroine.

Pattanathil bhootham is basically for the family and the childrens. The movie, a conceptual brainchild of super star Mammootty, will feature him in double roles in the scripts of Sibi K Thomas -Udhay Krissna duo. For the past so many films there is not much story specified on it. Then it had came. The one with a good story and it was Subramaniapuram. Another colossal piece of show from Subramaniapuram team. Best on best takes; ‘Nadodigal’ is a decorous flick of the season. Believe us! The audiences are brimmed with applause and whistle from the beginning till end of this show. The film’s script is so simple and the ingredients added by Samuthirakani top notches. Samuthirakani doesn’t go for adding any heroism, unwanted commercial elements. Of course, the film has laughter, emotions, sentiments, tragedies, action-packed thrillers.
The film is about Karuna (Sasi Kumar) and his friends Chandran (Vijay Vasanth), Pandian (Bharani) who leads a happy life. They’ve their own encounters of jovial life and everything turns topsy-turvy once Karuna’s friend Saravanan seeks for his aid in joining hands with his ladylove. With Saravanan’s mother being an Ex-MP and girl’s dad a bigwig in Namakkal, oppositions are harder. However, Karuna and his friends set the things right by getting the marriage done for lovers. But things aren’t going to be worst as they unexpected.
Watch the rest on screens that will get you enthralled all over the show.
Samuthirakani does a brilliant work on screenplay with first half completely brimmed with laughter and jolliness while latter part on different scenarios. However, soon as the latter half commences, there’s a sudden drift in pace. No issues! You’ve got to watch it on grounds of reality. Sasi Kumar spells the best on his show on emoting to every situation. Although, Vijay Vasanth has a limited space to showcase, he excels. Bharani steals the show with his humorous and yet emotional piece of acting. Abhinaya and Anaya have good presence on the screen.
Musical score by Sundar C Babu is average. Nevertheless, both the versions of ‘Sambo Siva Sambo’ are fantastic and cinematography is prodigiously done. Dialogues are catchy and you’ll witness the feedbacks for it more in penultimate sequences.
On the whole, ‘Nadodigal’ is a must watch film that has good theme on backdrops and yet entertainingly presented.

Mohanlal - Blessy teams latest movie Bhramaram reached about 80 theatres on last day. The movie is the fifth venture from Blessy and he again proves his ability to tell a story in a natural way. The movie features Mohanlal, Bhumika, Suresh Menon and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy in main casts. The movie contains a simple story, but has a lots of emotions, fabulous frames and some haunting moments. But the main thing is Mohanlal- our lalettan's mindblowing performance in the film.

The story starts when Sivankutty (Mohanlal) reaches the apartment of his schoolmate, Unni (Suresh Menon). Though Unni fails to remember him clearly, the stranger, who introduces himself as Jose, becomes friendly with his kid. The mood takes some abrupt turns from then on as his real identity is revealed.Unni, now a successful share broker, and his close pal Alex, a doctor, studied in school with Jose (well, we're not playing spoilsports and revealing more), who is now a jeep driver. To their horror, Unni and Alex soon realise that Jose is not his real name. They were all part of a tragic incident and now ‘Jose’ has come there with an agenda.

The film has its moments for sure, but things could definitely have been more effective with a taut script. Though Mohanlal puts in his heart and soul to get into the shoes of his character, the supporting cast lets him down big time. What makes the film click is its stunning climax. Bhoomika, as Mohanlal's wife, and the child actor who play their child fail to make any impact. Some of the characters played by Bollywood comedian Suresh Menon, Bhoomika and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy could have been more effective with better dubbing. Muralikrishnan, who plays Alex, has nice features to suit his role and he does a nice job as well.

All the other castd did extremely supported Mohanlal and did justice to the characters. Other good things about the movie are good direction, camera work is excellent, hearty songs, gud picturisations and mohan sitaras excellent music. Bhramaram is a must watch movie else you will miss the strong performance of the complete actor Mohanlal. Once again he proved he is the best in malayalam through this character.

Verdict : GOOD

Beautiful actress Sridevi Vijaykumar (daughter of veteran actor Vijaykumar), who recently drew everybody's attention with her celestial beauty at the marriage reception of Prabhu’s daughter Aishwarya, has decided to enter wedlock, joining the list of actors who are getting married this year.
Sridevi’s parents Manjula and Vijaya Kumar have arranged her wedding with Rahul, a software businessman from Hyderabad. The engagement ceremony was conducted on March 18 and the wedding on June 18. Many actresses had been a part of the wedding. The leading actresses Trisha, sneha, meena etc. also took part in this function.

Sridevi started her career as a child artist and made her debut as heroine with director Kathir’s Kadhal Virus in 2002. She later shifted to Telugu and made it big there. She was critically acclaimed for her performance in AVM's Priyamana Thozhi with Madhavan.
Her other noted films are Eshwar, Devathayai Kanden, Thithikuthey, Manjeera and Devathai Kanden. Despite being beautiful and talented, Sridevi could not rise to become a top line heroine. Sridevi has two sisters Preetha and Vanitha, and one brother Arun Kumar.

Deepika Padukone's item dance in telugu film

Another actress from Hindi is doing an item dance in south. Now its the time for the ever shining Deepika has got the chance to do an item dance in south. Deepika Padukone is not only in Love Aaj Kal but also in ‘Love 4 Ever’. The gorgeous female will shoot an item song for this film.
But hold your horses! This is not a Bollywood film, but a Telugu movie and Deepika has reportedly agreed to do a song in it. She will shoot for the item song from 24 June onwards. Though Deepika started her acting career in south, this is her first film in Telugu. She debuted with a Kannada film ‘Aishwarya’.
It’s believed that the movie’s director, Jayant C Paranji, shares a good relation with Deepika and that’s why the actress decided to show her dancing skills in this movie. Jayant has directed the likes of Bolly beauties Aishwarya Rai , Bipasha Basu and Preity Zinta in the past. He is back after a lull with this movie.
‘Love 4 Ever’ has new faces Ranadeep and Mridula. The movie has another Bollywood link and that’s music director Ram Sampat ‘Love 4 Ever’ is produced by Laughing Waters Entertainment.
Earlier too, many actresses from Bollywood like Mallika Sherawat have done item songs for south films and they charged a hefty amount. May be Deepika is also fetching a grand sum for this item song. Till now, Deepika has done only one item song, that too in a Shahrukh Khan film.
