Aqilis 1st Birthday Party

Finally is the day we have been waiting for....!! Aqilis is 1 and we plan his 1st ever birthday party at McDonald's SS15 Subang Jaya. Aqilis seems had a good time with all his cousins and friends and we feel so glad that the party was a successful and thanks to those for coming. More party's pics on my Facebook!!

This is my 100th blog post so I end this year with Christmas eve dinner at the Chili's Mid Valley Megamall. Chili's has been our favourite place of all time as they always come out with new menu everytime we drop by. Kids under 12 years old can get a free meal with every adult main course.

This Texas style western food was definitely of a 5 star quality with splendid flavours and nice presentation. Chill and cool place to dine and relax with family and friends. Chili’s is still “Like No Place Else®”

It was our second trip to Bagan Lalang and Sepang Goldcoast. More family members were joining us this time so I booked 30 seats at HM Sri Bagan Seafood Restaurant, a floating restaurant just 100 meters from our previous visit to Bagan Lalang (Seaview Seafood).

The choices of the seafood almost the same.... except here you can enjoy a nice view of Malacca Straits and Sepang Goldcoast escpeacially during the sunset. Plus the deco is also quite nice and seafood price a bit reasonable too.. (Just RM904.50 for 30 pax!!) For map pls view my prev post here...

It was another family day this year at Paya Indah Wetlands near Dengkil and Putrajaya. Paya Indah is a man-made wetlands area created in 1998 on land which had been heavily degraded by tin mining and sand dredging activities converted into beautiful lakes rich with wildlife, flora and fauna.

For those who live in KL busy city or Selangor can escape their short weekend for recreational activity here such as bird watching, cycling, jungle trekking, kayaking, fishing even crocodile and hippo feeding. Good and clean facilities also available like 29 chalets (RM120 per night), public toilet and lots of parking space. Suitable for families and company gathering.

Laguna Redang Island Resort

Nothing could describe the pleasure of diving, swimming, snorkeling, dining and sleeping at this tropical island of Terengganu, Malaysia - Redang Island.

Our stay in Laguna Redang Island Resort so special because we be able to enjoy the whole long beach because other resorts were close due to monsoon season. Lucky the weather were on our side until the last day of our stay.

While in Redang Island, I made 4 dives with Laguna Dive Centre. Even a bit strong currents on my first day, the next day was very calm and good for my underwater shots. I'm be able to spot some nudibranch , turtles, puffer fish, moray eel and tiger shrimps.

This was also my first time using the Omega Flipfins from USA and I'm very satisfied with the performance. 5 star rating for my Mares Dragon BCD and Mares Abyss Regulator that be able for me to stay more comfort and longer underwater.

Finally I received my Omega Aquatics Amphibian® Flipfins by USPS Express Mail International today after travel 9399 miles across United States-New York and Pacific Ocean. Ordered online from LeisurePro website using my Credit Card (USD124.95) shipping to US local address via UPS and then to me here in Malaysia (USPS). Here was the route it took for the past 1 and half week.

If you looking for a fresh seafood around town this is place for you. Although we have been to Sekinchan town before but never have a chance to taste its 'Ikan Bakar'. But now they bring the 'Ikan Bakar' to you.

There are a lots of Sekinchan Ikan Bakar franchise all over KL and Selangor. Once you get there just go to the counter, choose some local fish, crabs, squids or prawns and they will 'bakar' or burn them with 3 types of their signiture sauce or 'sambal'.

Don't expect to have ala-carte here. All you can order to eat with the 'ikan bakar' is only white rice or 'nasi lemak'.

How to get to Bagan Lalang/ Sepang Goldcoast (40min from KLIA toll exit):

1) Head to LCCT from Sepang/KLIA Plus Tol Exit.

2) Before reaching LCCT, turn left to Sepang F1 Circuit / Bandar Enstek.

3) Go on straight all the way until traffic light, there will be a sign to turn right to Sepang Gold Coast.

4) Go straight until u reach T junction to Port Dickson and Sepang Goldcoast/Bagan Lalang turn right here.

5) After turning right, you will pass by Sepang town and following by Sg Palek. Just follow the signs to Bagan Lalang or Sepang Goldcoast that will be on your left after few miles from Sepang town. The roads become smaller as you will entering a malay village and quite a distance before you reach the beach. Enjoy your trip ya!!

Seafood by the Lake?? Try this one.. Restoran Tasik Indah, Shah Alam. Just beside Alam Sentral. We have been to this restaurant quite a few times and the food never disappointed.

Restoran Tasik Indah is the place where you can get the seafood to be grilled, baked, steamed or fried in Chinese, Malay or Thai style. Yeah.. That's right! Lots of menu. Nice deco, great atmosphere by the lake and delicious, fresh seafood. You also can book online or call for reservations.

So what we have that night?? Big family (mine and brother,sister in law and nieces also) .... So big menu..... Spicy Tom Yam... Shark's Fin? (Say NO!! to shark's fin soup! ) but below menu all OK!! I love the lobster....
