Now is there anyone who didn’t think the Brett Favre commercial was the best one? BESIDES the Megan Fox ad!! As you all know, I’m not a huge Favre fan. I mean, I like the guy and all. Great football player. But this whole, in the name of The Clash, Should I stay or Should I Go, has got to stop.

Until…the Super Bowl commercial. Yeah, it got me alright. Ok, give the guy another year..ha! Or 10 if he could really do it! I can love a man who can poke fun at himself. Go ahead Deanna. Give him the OK. The thumbs up. The pat on the butt. Whatever it is you do.

I see they’ve toned down the godaddy commercials. They’ve also tricked most of you into watching the rest of the “risque” ad on their site. Nice way to lure people to their site and get tons of hits, but honestly…they weren’t up to par. The acting is horrid and the massage therapist’s attempt to “dance”  for Ms. Patrick is even more painful to watch.

This brings us to the end of the football season. Go Saints. So happy for the team and the city. They deserve it. This does not mean the end of MaMaLike. No way! I’ll be heading to Vegas again in March because I know Vegas is missing me. Baseball will be coming around again. Baseball draft anyone? Then, it’s just 7 months until football season starts up again. Ugh! Well, unless Goodell definitely decides on making the regular season longer. I’m for it.

In the meantime, check out the progress of the new Los Angeles Stadium they are building for us football deprived folks out here on the Westside. It’s about time, right? You better believe I’m going to get season tickets. Yes, even if its going to be the LA Jaguars or LA Bills…yikes!

Ridiculous, I tell ya.

I’m not a huge fan of Miami. It’s a cool place and all, but I prefer Hawaii. I can’t stand how my Jack and Coke’s are $14 a pop in Miami and only $10 a pop in Hawaii. I hate change. Change. Pfft, it almost always sucks at first.

Just like my day job…its changing like a mutha and I hate it. Eventually, the outcome will be great…or so they say…and I pray.

Oh let’s not forget how the Pro Bowl is so inconveniently played before the BIG GAME now! It’s almost sacrilegious…

Que, no?

Ok, maybe it was super lame because not only did the NFC lose…I had to watch them lose on the ding-dong TV at home. Super boring.

So, I’ve never been to a Super Bowl. (Totally open for any invites, tho…thank you very much…) But I really don’t want to spend 2 weeks in Miami with the madness surrounding me for both Pro Bowl and Super Bowl events.

I’m good. I’ll pass.

Onto the Super Bowl and the Saints and Colts. It’s no surprise that I want the Saints to win. That is, if you’ve been following my blog. I may have been, oh so, completely wrong earlier this season about wanting my #1 pick to be Matt Forte in my fantasy leagues, (although, I never did draft him #1 in any draft except for a mock draft…doesn’t count so those that “mocked” me can shove it!) but I did draft good ol’ Drew Brees #1 in my fantasy league that I traveled  1595 miles for (St. Louis). QB’s are big in this league. Yes, I am a fan now.

The countdown starts. 5 days until victory. The Saints have got me on this one. Who’s with me? I know I got the Who Dat Nation…what about you?

Playoffs-Shmayoffs.

I’m guessing that every team I believe is going to win this season in the playoffs…won’t. What is this schtuff about Palmer finally getting his chance and blowing it, again? OK, maybe he didn’t blow it all himself, but

for crying out loud! Give the man a chance!

Jets couldn’t even let them win one for Henry? C’mon. The humanity. At least, the Jets were kind enough to not blow out Palmer’s knee after the first play. Gee, thanks Jets D. Thanks.

Then, what’s this garbage about Dallas beating Philly? I tell ya, I’m a Cowboy fan every other year. Yeah, the year Romo made that supreme botched snap, I was a Cowboy fan. This playoff year, I am not a Dallas fan. Eagles had an amazing year in my eyes. I mean, who didn’t make a name for themselves this season? Maclin, McCoy, Celek…how ’bout that incredible TD pass from Vick to Maclin…like whoa!

What does Moss have to do to win a SuperBowl? What do I have to do to see my boy get a ring or see him happy? Baltimore is a beast this season, but I am over Ray Lewis and his deadly hits and, moreover, his poisonous, brain washing chants.

I’m taking Indy and New Orleans to go to the Superbowl. They’re the only teams I like…to be honest with you. I don’t think the Jets can take it that far and I’m not big on San Diego. Although, the emails I’ve been getting from people are to see San Diego to take it ALL the way. Nuts, I tell ya.

I’m big on Drew Brees this year. And I’m not a bandwagoner. Really. Say what you want. I mean, I had him this year in my  favorite fantasy team and he has proven to me to be some amazing QB. I love that. Arizona doesn’t have to go to the Superbowl again, do they? I already said that I’m done with Dallas this season, although, I am thrilled Romo dropped Jessica this year. Best thing he did for the team and football. Thank you. This may make me sound like a butt-head, but I really do like Minnesota, but Favre is done. I’d love to see what he’s going to do if he doesn’t make it to the SuperBowl. Ugh, on second thought, I’m over that drama.

So Colts and Saints it is! What’s your take? Well, like I said earlier…I’m sure the teams I’m guessing will win…probably won’t.

Is it me? Not sure why it annoys me. Is Ted Phillips right? Or is he sooo wrong?

OK…OK…let me start by saying we haven’t had any playoffs for 3 straight years…OK…blah, blah, blah…no playoffs for 3 straight years…OK…did I say we haven’t been in the playoffs for 3 straight years? OK?

OK, PHILLIPS! WE GET IT! WE ALL KNOW IT! WE WATCHED EVERY SEASON! O-K!?

Craps, football, slots…you name it. You should remember this from my last blog post about Vegas during Halloween weekend.

But I’ve also been a big loser at my Sunday night poker games too. But last Sunday, I rocked. So that has to mean one thing in Vegas tonight, right?

I’m going to do my usual sucker parlay bets. But Mama loves ‘em. 3-3-and 8 team parlays.

Who else is gonna be in Vegas this weekend? I’ll be looking for my World Poker Tour table, then switching it up to Craps, then maybe a little party, party time. Ya wanna join? Hit me up.

Can we give it up for Pittsburgh? I’m feeling for them lately. I hate to remind you Steelers Fans of the latest losses, but let’s get it together and win one. It’s been a rough few weeks. Ben and his concussions, Ward and his big mouth, and Holmes and his usual unproductive weeks. Excuse me, I know he made an impact last week with Dixon in, but that’s just Santonio, right?

Santonio performs 1 out of 4 games. And I probably coulda predicted that ahead of time. Holmes was Dixon’s go-to guy. I get it, they connected. But OT’s result is what matters in the end.
