MY THOUGHTS:

My boys are huge Chuck & Friends fans and this DVD is perfect for them. With 10 episodes there is a lot of Chuck and Friends to enjoy. I love that now only are the trucks fun and colorful they are also wholesome. The episodes teach such great lessons such as working together, helping out friends in need, making decisions and accepting responsibility. My boys love that there is a good variety of trucks, which is especially important since one of my boys is a construction truck lover and the other is a monster truck fan! This DVD is perfect for any child and there isn’t a show like Chuck & Friends! My 5 year old actually just got a Chuck & Friends stunt playset for his birthday and he thinks its hilarious to play with it and watch this DVD! You don’t have to be a Chuck fan though to enjoy Chuck!

I have never been one to buy small packages of baby items if I don’t have to.  Baby items especially you go through so fast and usually in bulk that to me it only makes sense to buy them in bulk.

With health care costs rising for both those with and without insurance it can be a tough choice on what to pay for and how.  Walgreens has taken the initiative to help others out by offering a special discount on their annual membership for its Prescription Savings Club.  For just $35 a year, everyone in an immediate family (including spouse, dependents 22 and younger and pets) can be covered.  An individual can purchase a membership for just $20.

MY THOUGHTS:

My boys love Dora and this is actually the first Dora DVD we have.  The DVD features one Easter themed episode and two others.  We have literally watched this DVD on repeat for two days when we got it, they love it that much!  The Easter episode is more vibrant and newer looking compared to regular Dora but my boys didn’t even notice the difference in animation.  It also features a bunny who sings though his hip-hop journey.  I liked that this episode helped my boys remember that the Easter bunny will be coming here soon.  Their favorite episodes though were the other two with featured the Grumpy Old Troll getting married and Troll Land.

Overall this is a DVD we will be watching year-round.  As much as I am not a Dora fan I do think she is great for preschoolers as my boys are always repeating after here and trying to say her Spanish words.  I actually encourage them watching Dora!  This DVD would also make a great Easter present!

So my New Year’s Resolution is to loose weight, mainly because after having my third child (and probably final child) I really need to get back into shape.  I basically haven’t worked on loosing weight since my first child five years ago and have been gaining weight ever since.

Thanks to Progresso soup, I can maintain my weight management and enjoy the foods I love.  There are 40 delicious soups to choose from, all with 100 calories or less per serving.  Since eating right is one of the ways to maintain weight management, I love that I don’t have to sacrifice taste or eating the same old foods over and over.  Progresso soups are packed with hearty ingredients like pasta, beans, rice, meat and vegetables, which is not something I would think of in a diet food!

I plan on slowly substituting a can of Progresso soup for lunch for a 100-calorie meal.  I had no clue there were 40 different kinds!  I have probably eating 10 different Progresso soup varieties so I look forward to working my way through more of them.  I remember I started buying Progresso soup because it is part of the Box Tops for Education program and it was such a hearty lunch for me when I used to work.  I have never been disappointed by the flavor of a soup and they usually are enough for me.  At only 100 calories I can enjoy a whole can of hearty soup or I could eat a few chips or probably half a hot dog, a soup sounds a lot better!
