These are a little different than the kind of women's footwear that I usually write about. Speaking of the lovely Jessica Simpson, I almost forgot...well I did forget actually, Jessica had a birthday on July 10th, she's turned 30 !! Jessica celebrated her big 3-0 with the new love in her life, former pro football player Eric Johnson. Jessica and Eric spent her birthday on the Italian island of Capri.....sounds sexy doesn't it? And I guess it was as rumor has it that Jessica and Eric were pretty open in their public displays of affection. Apparently some tongues are wagging because Eric is still married, well at least technically. He filed for divorce from his wife in January 2010, but things haven't been finalized yet. Personally I am happy to see Jessica happy. Some of us still remember how her old beau Tony Romo dumped her last year the night before her birthday which was pretty sad, so it's great that a year later she is back in the saddle so to speak and having a nice time.

The only problem is that Eric Johnson may be out of work....he was a football player until his release from the New Orleans Saints in 2008 but now Eric Johnson is not playing football....that gives him more free time to spend with Jessica....I don't know much about football but apparently Eric Johnson is a "tight-end" which I think is a good thing....he played for Yale University then was drafted to the San Francisco 49ER's in 2001.

I dunno about you but it sounds to me like Eric Johnson may have just scored a touchdown !!!

I write quite a bit about Jessica Simpson and her shoes, Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton because of their name attached to some very sexy women's shoes. Wowee! Sounds like our girl Jessica Simpson is coming kinda clean on the whole John Mayer Playboy magazine interview about Jessica and his relationship and her...well....her desires ! In an interview on David Letterman recently, Jessica said she was still friends with Mayer, although he let out some secrets which she would have preferred him not to release. As she put it, she stays pretty much "a good girl" and now the world could have a very different view of her.

Don't let it get you down Jessica, it actually does even more for your image in a sense, nothing like a "good girl" who can be a little bit of a "bad girl" when the time is right ! And as for John Mayer, he apparently likes to kiss and tell.....good luck with him finding a new girlfriend.....in the meantime, we all know that Jessica is probably like any other good girl, she can be a sexy bad girl in the right place and the right time with the right person!

Elizabeth Hurley recently drew lots of attention to something called the Love Ball in London, a charitable event that is part of the Naked Heart Foundation. and organization that builds playgrounds for children in Russia and the United Kingdom. Elizabeth kind of put the program on the media map so to speak by showing up in a long sari type dress that was sheer on top....yup....and no bra.....yup.....she covered up with a program after the see thru aspect of the dress was pointed out to her, but....well....can't help thinking it was an on purpose mistake which certainly helped to draw attention to the charity.
