Slab Serif fonts are all the rage with the kids these days. So I wanted to create a clean and simple theme that was hip and trendy. I based this theme on the Beautiful Blue Mango theme. A great theme that pays strict attention attention to typography and vertical rhythm. This theme pack includes all the layered PSD files used in creating this theme. These PSD files can be opened in photoshop in case you need to make modifications and customize the Chunky-T theme to your liking. Something new, that I am trying out with this theme, are custom font faces. If your familiar with the new trend in website design of using a special @font-face service like Kernest.com to provide websites with free or cost effective alternatives to using awesome professionally designed fonts on your site without having to make them a graphic. Because this them uses the Chunk font you will need to register for free with Kernest.com and get your own free domain specific css snippet. It's fast and easy so don't sweat it. If you get stuck and need some help, I am always here to help you out.

If your a hands on sort of person and don't mind rolling up your sleeves and tweaking your css code, you will be happy to learn that this theme also makes use of the BlueTrip CSS framework, allowing for easy modifications and maintenance of the css code.

If you downloaded the two most recent themes, Summer Sunset, or Autumn Harvest before today, You may want to redownload and update your theme. I found an embarasing oversight in the theme template where posts that had excerpts did not display the full post once clicking through to the post.cfm page. Post.cfm was the only page effected.

This theme is the light companion version to Technicolor Dark. Features a light background and dark text for more readability. This theme has already been pod-enabled, and includes additional support files like Photoshop actions for the recreation of the technicolor logo in your font or logo graphic. It also includes layer styles that were used in the creation of the theme. Now, all Premium version include additional support files including the original Photoshop document used to create the theme. Free Stargazer Theme

Anyone following trends in web blogs will know that the celestial images are all the rage. So I felt Mango needed to keep up with the Jones' and have one of it's own. This theme called Stargazer did the trick nicely. I also added a few additional theme options so you can change out your blog to the nebula of your choice.

I retooled the codecoloring css and had it overwrite the default coloring so that text can be read on the dark background. The red and blue text was way to geocities for me.

UPDATED! Stargazer theme now pod enabled!
