A Quick Personal Note

I usually don’t post personal stuff here at MN but a couple people have emailed noticing that I’m not as quick on the draw the the current Roberty news as usual so I thought I’d explain that in one big swoop instead of a bunch of mails!

Over the last few months I’ve had some health issues which ultimately ended in a 10 day hospital stay. Continuing outpatient visits has been coupled with a directive to severely limit my time sitting at the computer.

Since my time online is limited now, I have to pick and choose what the most important things are. So I first try to concentrate on news items for the NewsWire and keeping the tour dates current. Thanks to a couple of dedicated news gatherers, pressbook items are being logged, but getting those and members’ area items posted take a little longer. But rest assured it’ll all get there eventually.

Rest assured, ManicNirvana.com is still dedicated to having all the Robert news we can find. Thanks to everyone who expressed concern and who has supported the website all these years. Hopefully the steady stream of Robert news will be back as it was before too long.

A generous donation this afternoon has allowed us to meet and even exceed our set goal for the 2010 fundraiser. You are still welcome to donate and show your support this month and at any time throughout the year as our goal is usually the bare minimum needed to keep ahead for another year.

The annual fundraiser is still underway and generous donors have put us only $40 away from our goal for this year! Way to go! Donors will be touted until the next fundraiser on the Donors List. If you wish to remain anonymous with your donation, indicate that in the comments section and it will be listed as “Friend of ManicNirvana.com”.

Our goal this year is again $150.00.

Raid the HiBob’s Robert Plant Collection: Round 2

The first round of Raid the Collection went very well! Thanks to all the bidders and watchers. While it’s a little sad to see my stuff going away, it was kind of exciting seeing the bidding going on.

I have a second round of items listed now. Be sure and check the auctions throughout March as I’ll be adding things now and then.
