Seattle duo Peter Christianson and Carlos Mendoza, a.k.a. LawnChair Generals have been shaping the future of House music out of their self-made studios since 2001. Based on the brief amount of time the duo has spent manning the controls, the success they have attained is staggering. As goes the old adage, it is quality, not quantity that breeds such success. Along with their talent, both behind the decks and in the studio, and a little luck thrown in for good measure, LCG have simultaneously blazed their way into the crates, mix compilations, and ranks of the world's top DJs.

Soon after the initial jaunt into the studio, their first sonic experiments were picked up by Viva Recordings and pressed into 'The Great Escape.' Their debut EP, called a "hot house hit" by Terry Farley in Muzik magazine (issue 77 Oct. 2001), was released to widespread praise by the likes of Mark Farina, DJ Heather, DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, Doc Martin, Rob Mello, Yousef, and many more.

Then came the infectious 'U Dirty' EP on Westbound Records, containing the underground hit 'One Thing.' This claimed there was more where 'The Great Escape' came from and that LCG were more than a passing fluke.

'The Truth' on Dizzy's Lowdown Recordings is the label's most successful release to date and is firmly planted in the crates of all of the top House jocks. Tracks from this EP have been licensed for Derrick Carter and Mark Farina's, "Live at Om" CD as well as for DJ Heather's DJ Magazine front cover CD.

Shortly thereafter, LCG's next single 'Tell You Something' hit the street running on July 15, 2004. This second release on Westbound out-did the first, having peaked so much interest when it spiked several sets at The 2004 Winter Music Conference. 'Tell You Something - Else', LCG's remix of their own title track, was chosen by JT Donaldson and Lance DeSardi for their installment of Om's "San Francisco Sessions" mixed compilation series.

LCG kicked off a promising 2005 with their hugely anticipated 5th release, "You Got To / Stop Frontin'" on the Belgian imprint Aroma, licensed to DJ Sneaks upcoming OM Records Mix CD before its release.

The talent of this duo is undeniable, both as producers, remixers and DJs. They have been making dancefloor gold of other artists' work for almost as long as they have been creating their own. After dropping torrential re-workings of tracks like DJ Hal's 'Don't Give It Up' and Swirl People and DJ Heather's 'We Used To Party', LCG remixes are now on back-order.

From as close to home as Flammable @ Rebar in Seattle to as far away as the clubs of Australia and Europe, LCGs' rambunctious two-jock DJ sets have become a required experience for House-heads around the world. The LCG blend is a unique fusion of West coast and classic Chicago-style House with touches of electro, soul, and freestyle-era pop flavor. Their performances further cement the strong impression left by the music they create. And wherever the production path may take LCG, they're likely to embrace respect without forgetting their DJ roots. As Carlos puts it, "Peter and I are DJs first. We make music we want to play."

Shenoda - Mines Of Minolta EP

Shenoda continues to go from strength to strength creating his own sound and establishing himself as prominent DJ and producer within the new wave of British underground talents. Not one to conform to current trends his trademark style of deep, dubby basslines set within an infectious and solid groove have established him as an artist existing very much within his own right.

Shenoda’s close affiliation with the Hypercolour crew saw him release his Shot’s EP. in mid 2011. This EP. which demonstrated his unique sound throughout was supported by the likes of Martyn, Konrad Black, Mosca, Deetron and was hammered in Ibiza throughout the summer season. With a string of previous releases on Hypercolour, Connaissour and 1Trax Shenoda continues to calve a very bright future as a one to watch. With a fastly filling gig schedule of performances at various clubs across Europe this have taken Shenoda to in 2011 make his Fabric Room 1 debut.

With forthcoming releases and remixes on Hypercolour, Fear of Flying, 1Trax, and Save You and with further collaborations with Hypercolour’s Alex Jones in the pipeline, Shenoda continues to be an artist to keep a close eye on.

La Fleur - Petals On Fire EP

La Fleur is not easily put in a box. She‘s the dancer turned DJ, the pharmacist turned remixer, the music-lover turned music-maker. With a commitment to the craft and a keen selector's ear, the Swedish DJ has risen through the ranks of the Stockholm scene and run her own club nights. By 2007 La Fleur was ranked at number 6 in Sweden's Top 100 DJ’s list; the following year she was nominated as "Best DJ” at the Scandinavian Music Convention and began hosting the electronic dance music show 'P3 Dans', on Swedish National Radio.

La Fleur took her first forays into the studio in 2008, with her remix of David Ekenbäck’s "Nairu" on Trunkfunk Records, and in early 2010 she didn’t disappoint when tipped as an artist to watch in. Her solo debut, Flowehead EP, for her own label Power Plant Records, rocketed into charts and playlists worldwide.

In early 2011 came Flowerhead Revisited, the remix project hand-picked to launch the inhouse imprint of DJ tastemakers Whatpeopleplay. With support from the likes of Mixmag and Pete Tong, La Fleur is set to continue adding to her already long list of accomplishments, via her uniquely infectious and organic sound.

With further landmark releases on Defected Records sublabel Lo:Rise, and her new EP Eavesdropper, for her own Power Plant imprint, La Fleur is undeniably the breakthrough artist to watch in 2012.

Piotr Bejnar - Cracow Fight

Producer, DJ and live performer. Since he was a 16 yr old youngster his interests crossed the not so usal field of the mathematical arrangement of phrases and bars in musical compositions.

As a live performer he experiments with various novice live performance techniques, presenting a generous spectrum of sounds. Piotr doesn't allow the current trends, likes and dislikes to influence him, but is rather drawn to specific 'sonic gems' from various styles of electronic music. His varied musical taste has led him to take part in many cultural events, not necessarily dance related.

Piotr Bejnar's performances are unlike the live acts associated with performing from a laptop… in fact they're very different. It is a live improvisation to which Bejnar invites the audience, which quite literally generates the sounds together with him.

The story goes back to a gig where Bejnar had no space to place his MIDI controller and had to play with it in his hands. Since that night his friends and fans bestowed him with the title of the "Modern Talking" DJ and the "Unstoppable Korg Rider". The idea has evolved, Piotr has minimised his setup and begun to perform live holding his sampler while dancing with the crowds on the dance floor.

Born musically studying piano at the conservatory in Naples. An eclectic pianist, open to any musical genre. Gradually approaches to the world of electronic music and the console in 2003, playing small party in Naples for many small clubs around the city.

The big opportunity came in 2008 when shares the console with Kenny Carpenter and Julie Marghilano. He performs on the console with a pure sound with strong influences Deep Tech House.

It sounds using only vinyl records, showing great technique and a strong sensitivity to the dancefloor, which led him to obtain many approvals and console space in their city. It is to share the console with the likes (.........). U! Can Fly dj resident and frequent guest at parties Angels Of Love, in 2009 began working as a producer Globox in the studios of The Known duo Tony Matt and Sasha Carassi.

In late 2009 he began to publish his work on labels like Zirben, Structure, Globox. Looking forward to future productions with Soulman Music of Marcelo Castelli and Audio Esperanto of Francesco Farfa. In 2011 started the label Four Fingers Hand who hit Beatport House Chart with Acid Groove.

Patrick Zigon - The Alpha State Remixes (Chapter Two)

Patrick Zigon is hailing from Germany’s beautiful and inspiring city Konstanz at the Lake of Constance, which probably is one of the reasons why he drops such jaunty and fresh beats.

Being active in the electronic music scene since 1996, Patrick since then eminently contributes to the establishment and development of electronic music in South Germany as a DJ, producer and promoter.

First own releases promptly showed up in the hard-to-get-in English House scene and in the boxes of international big names. Though Patrick never liked to be pigeonholed, which he perfectly underlines with his productions for labels such as Cocoon, Puzzle Traxx, Sounderground, Tanzbar, Turbo, Great Stuff, Trapez, Traum, Treibstoff, Kling Klong and Session Deluxe. Especially his remixes for artists such as Guy Gerber, Gregor Tresher, Chris Fortier, Gui Boratto, Martin Eyerer, Extrawelt etc. show his status in the current electronic music-scene.

2005 he created himself his own little Traumraum (the german word for Dreamroom), which is not only the name of his production studio, but also the name of his event series @ venues such as his long-term Stuttgart based resident club Climax Institutes.

His current releases and remixes perfectly mirror, for what Patricks name stands nowadays – hypnotic Tech House with good portion of soul.

Axel Bartsch - Prophetic Dreams

It’s a long road that leads from the purchase of your first single in mid-70s to establishing yourself as a respected solo artist with gigs all over the world today.

There were, of course, the first tentative steps, spinning funk and dance classics at house parties in the 80s. These led to Axel promoting raves in the early 90s with old friend and partner-in-crime Asem Shama, with whom he then built a studio, set up their first label and collaborated on the Vanguard project. Next came the fifty or so releases on respected and innovative labels like Bush, Planet of Drums, Frisbee Tracks and Spiel-Zeug, not to mention the innumerable live P.A.s and DJ sets…

After completing his studies in 2004, Axel was finally free to focus all his efforts on music, especially his increasingly sophisticated solo works. The fresh application of time and energy landed him one side of the now classic Speicher 26, released on Kompakt’s prestigious Extra offshoot.‘Galaxy’, was a growling, bass-driven bomb and deservedly became an international smash, setting dancefloors alight.

“I’d not had previous contact with the Kompakt guys,” Axel says, “But after all I’d read and heard, I got the feeling we had a lot in common, and that they’d like what I was doing…” And like it they did, commissioning another mighty Speicher production (‘Was Bleibt Ist Die Musik’) and acting as distributor for the newly minted Sportclub label, which Axel founded together with Franco Zeiger in late 2005. Sportclub has provided Axel with another platform from which to release his own heady brand of modernist techno - releases like ‘Breakout’, ‘Thunk’ and the ‘Hola Guapa’ EP have ensured a steep rise in his popularity, and put his name on the lips of DJs, labels and tastemakers across the globe.

Any doubt that Axel Bartsch had truly arrived was dispelled with the release of his ‘Light in the Dark’ maxi for Kompakt’s main imprint and the solo Speicher 41. “I produced ‘Light in the Dark’ with Kompakt in mind…” Axel tells us, “I guess it was meant to be, kind of eerie…”

After a few Remixes he returns to his good old partners at “Spiel-Zeug Schallplatten” to deliver two awesome peaktime tunes on the “Radio Controlled E.P.” in 2007 followed by “Easy” on their “Hi Freaks” imprint.

He had done three albums in cooperation with Asem and now it..s time for his first solo album “Kiss” which hits the scene on Cologne based “Karmarouge Records” in June 2008 and takes him another step ahead celebrated by almost all upfront DJs in the techno circus.

2008 is the year when he really enjoys Berlin and spends more time to see what the city's got to offer then in the studio, but he still delivers remixes for Gui Boratto and Sian beside two Sportclub releases and a track for Berlins hot shot “Upon You Records”.

So the road’s been long, sure, but Axel remains tireless – his fascination with music and clubbing keeps him happy and, luckily for us, productive.

Wherever he is right now, whether tweaking away in the studio, gazing out the window of an airplane or maybe sweating his bollocks off after a 6-hour set at the Panorama Bar, you can rest assured: he’s doing it for music’s sake, and giving all he’s got to enchant and enthrall us with the sounds of the 21st century. Get behind him.

Jairo Catelo - Jairo Catelo Presents The Warehouse EP

Over the past months, Jairo Catelo has rapidly built a fine reputation for his elegant and organic productions. Hailing from Gijon in the Asturias region of Spain, Jairo began his musical journey in 1997.

Over the years he has played for clubs and events including La Real, Tik, Rocamar, Loft.co, Loop and Phonotica and held residencies at Berlin, Metro and Baby's. Early 2009 saw his 'Dragged Souls EP' on My Cup of Tea gain critical acclaim and support from artists including Danny Tenaglia, 2000 and One and Loco Dice.

His thoughtful blend of soulful, percussive sounds, with a deep, dubby edge soon won him more fans and he was invited to release EP's on Plastic City and Darkroom Dubs, the label of SIlicone Soul. He has also just remixed the latest single from the Scottish duo 'Hurt People, Hurt People', which is due for release in Feb '2010 on Soma records.

This summer saw Jairo's remix of Nima Gorji's 'Obbatala', the first release of Climatic Sound label, win him yet more support, and helped the release go on to feature in many DJ's charts and playlists. this year will be fruitful in collaborations and publications (Darkroom dubs, Kiara, Soma Rec, Waldliebe Rec, Extended play), which says a lot of his work.

Charlie Banks - Saying What

Bournemouth based DJ/Producer Charlie Banks, recently turned 18, an emerging new talent on the dance music scene.

Charlie started off as a bedroom DJ at the age of just 15, where he found a passion for Dance Music. After hours of practice Charlie began picking up local sets at nights on the South Coast, also running his own night Hit The Deck which became a huge success.

Now concentrating solely on Djing and Production, Charlie found a love for House music and with a lot of exciting things in the pipeline. With his debut EP forthcoming on Berlin based Label Dirt Crew recordings dropping at the beginning of 2012. Piemont - Swung Up

Students of sound design and mastering, Frederic Möring-Sack and Christian Jonquieres, have been releasing music under a number of guises on their own labels, Suchtreflex and Plumbum since 2007. Their work as Phunklarique, Dejonka and now Piemont, has won them a huge fanbase, headed by many of the DJ world's leading lights.

With a musical background that has encompassed Hip-Hop and song composition, via Skate-Punk and Metal. It is quite a surprise to experience the deep and often dulcet tones of Piemont's modern productions.

Their beat ridden tracks do include a certain kind of magic in terms of abstract funkiness and soul which has been growing on people ever after they have listened to their tracks for the first time.

Many of their tracks have developed into evergreens, being played out for months and months. Now Piemont is no more a upcoming force in the scene but an established member of the top league of German producers with an international profile.

"Carbonat" and "Black Smoker" have been major hits but also "Plumbum" has evolved on a premium track. With their acclaimed debut album on MBF, "Strange World Beyond", Piemont have for the first time explored also deeper moments in their music.

Joy Kitikonti - Desire EP

Musician, dj and producer: Joy Kitikonti is a polyhedric artist with several discographic successes, important partnerships and awards in his background. All these experiences made him the mature artist of today.

We can say he’s “Natural born artist”. His innate talent, his creativity and strong will made him especially known for his mood and for his inspiration. But Joy is always the reserved and quiet person he was before and he doesn’t like talking too much about himself or boasting about his success, because he gives in charge to the music the power to tell his story.

The dj is a chef, that can mix sounds, riffs, cool bass effects, drums, percussions … at the desks he “cooks” and everytime he produces a different and original set: you can give the same records to another dj and the result will always be different.

“When the dj plays his music, he feels like a writer: and when he plays he always shows something about his soul, his mind and his heart. Joy has already released many tracks on epic BXR Label (MediaRecords), signed with his real name or with different pseudonymes (Jakyro, Joman), he produced for Eukahouse, Hooj Choons, Neuton, Scandioum, Grasp, Gouta Music, Orion Muzik, Inside Orion, Mtm (Metempsicosi), Bluefin as remixer, Mazoomlab, Diva Records, Nervous, Mindshake, Moovment, Analytictrail, Krone, Antibe Music, Natura Viva, Presslab, Neurotraxx, Acid 80, Natural Rhythm, IPocket, Start Records, FootLoversMusic, Push Push, Aenaria, Night Light, and more. But Joy Kitikonti’roots are in the Underground Clubs scene, where he’s really loved for his creative fantasy and his original sound, but especially for his unbelievable technical ability at the mixer.

He’s a member of Metempsicosi (www.metempsicosi.com), the free association among six artists who share ideas, sound and successes, not the typical djs or events agency, that only thinks about the djs booking date and promotion, but a project itself.

His own life is a mix: a combination of sounds, moods, styles, places, images. The “contamination” is the key to re-invent and to live your life with your personal style, to escape the banality and the danger of something already seen and already heard. His “hand” is always perceivable in his productions.

His underground vocation comes from those boundary territories, where music means fun, not just money, where friendship among the artists goes further than the interests of the music industry, where you can find in your hands some white labels, dreamt by the records shops, and where new ideas and moods are generated by the artists’ exchange and partnerships. Joy belongs to that world where, if we can use the espression… vanguards often born.

Zoe Xenia - Take A Chance

Zoë Xenia, hailing from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, began her music career from a young age as a singer / songwriter with various alternative/rock bands. That is, until she first heard House music. Bitten by the House bug, and longing to be more than a singer in a band, she began to produce music and develop her own electronic style - a hybrid of rolling bass and funked-up beats.

Using her voice not only as a vocal, but also as an instrument itself, keeping her firmly on the avant-garde tip. "I like to improvise and try things with my voice, it's an instrument I carry everywhere; like recording myself having the hiccups, and making some fine rhythms with it." She made it to the Diesel-U-Music Benelux finals in 2003, was a selected finalist at Grote Prijs van Nederland in 2004 and now performs as a vocalist/mc, dj and electronic live-act on parties and festivals throughout Europe and the rest of the world.

Her first EP was released on ArtMiniMal in Spring 2007, followed by a release on Organised Music and an invitation to play at WMC Miami. Her track Cherish on Connaisseur recordings became house tune of the month in the November 2007 issue of Mix Mag, got an excellent review in De:Bug and was played by artists like Tiefschwarz, Mike Monday, Miss Jools, 3 Channels and Fabrice Lig.

Her "Uncovered EP" solo debut on Connaisseur was marked as one of the five Connaisseur essentials in Resident Advisor and her track Forever picked out as one of the highlights of the Grand Cru 2008 compilation in Mixmag's June 2008 issue.

She released her solo EP 'Let The Music Play' on French label BassCulture in December 2009 with remixes from both Damian Schwartz and Anonym. and she appeared on Connaisseur's Grand Cru 2010 Compilation. She's just released "Avoid the void" on fresh found Dutch label Comport as well as her latest EP on Bassculture "In your Soul" which received some great feedbacks...

Uner - Uner EP

UNER is one of the most important names of the new generation of Spanish electronic music producers. His musical training allowed him to develop at a very early age a different dance music concept, based on the pleasure for harmony and the search for a unique, personal sound.

This has lead him to edit for labels like Diynamic (where he's an active member and has edited his most celebrated works to date, "Raw Sweat" and "Bassboot"), 2020 Vision, Get Physical, Defected or CR2 to mention a few. UNER has earned the respect of the music industry with talent and work: names like Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox or Luciano play his music on a regular basis; clubs like Berlin's Watergate or Space ibiza book him oftenly and his number of fans increases by the day; all of this because of what he does best, his music.

Apart from traveling around the world as a Dj, in 2011 UNER presented his live gigs, an audiovisual concept in which he uses state-of-the-art software and hardware (from iPads to mini midi keyboards) to explore his most solid, personal side.

The artistic expansion of the Catalonian producer will go on during the following months with the creation of several artist albums where he'll express his way of understanding electronic music from a musical point of view and from the center of the dancefloor. UNER's bound to reach higher tops with the only limit of his music... so there's still loads to see, listen and dance.

Deymare - 1990 EP

Deymare lives in Finland, he's been into house/techno music since 1991 when he bought his first techno record and started to attend parties aswell as djing, nowadays his focus is on the music production.

His music productions carrier started in the tracker scene around 1994 then after some years he stopped producing because other things in life took up all his time.

A couple of years ago he felt the inspiration and had the time to start makin music again, since then he have had material out on labels like Morris audio citysport, Boe recordings, Quintessentials & more.

His productions are mainly deephouse tracks, often with some jazzy flavours.

Alex Arnout is a slow burning star with over 20 years experience behind him. Having started his DJ career in Spain, and in the humble surroundings of many a local bar, the nineties were spent learning the basic skills so often lacking in today’s break-through ‘DJs’.

Eventually catching the ear of someone that mattered, Arnout began playing more familiar outposts like DC: 10 and Pin Up in Ibiza, Dance Valley in Amsterdam and Circo Loco in London, for whom he has been resident for the last few years. On top of that, his finely sequenced journeys through all things house have also won him a residency at London’s definitive Sunday session, Fuse, as well as gigs at the most revered of them all... fabric.

A pure passion for 4/4 (which has been burning ever since first hearing House Sounds of Chicago albums in the mid eighties) naturally lead Alex to begin experimenting with his beloved sound in the studio.

Over the course of the last decade, the fruits of said labours have been bountiful: there have been releases alongside Daz I Kue from Bugs in the Attic; with an old school friend by the name of Leiam Sullivan as Ceramix (with whom he remixed Peace Division and Low End Specialists and earned a No.1 on Pete Tong’s Essential Buzz chart with 'Can You Dance?')

Aiming simply to “make great music”, there have also been collabs with Jamie Jones and Clive Henry for the hotter-than-hot Hot Waves crew, whilst EPs for Composite and Vitalik and another collaborative effort with Clive - this time as Black to The Future - have also been confirmed and can be added to the myriad Arnout reworks included on the recent Rebel Rave compilation on Crosstown Rebels.

All those accomplishments are commendable on their own, but one of the most important roles Arnout plays in the contemporary electronic scene is as label boss and A&R man for his own decidedly individually label, Dogmatik. Having inadvertently launched the career of Maya Jane Coles by releasing her first four releases, Dogmatik can also count the likes of Glimpse, Peace Division, Afrilounge, Tom Demac, Ed Davenport, Stojche and Claire Ripley amongst its friends given the releases and remixes they have contributed to the label’s catalogue since its inception in 2006. “My ethos is to find fresh talent and push them into the scene, always backed by quality remixers” says Alex of the label he runs; the label which has held memorable parties both at Sonar and in Ibiza during recent years.

More and more often stepping out of the shadows of engineering, collaborating or running a label, then, the accomplished Arnout is making himself evermore an impossible talent to ignore.

For the first time Petr Serkin took a great interest in electronic music in 1996. In 1997 he began to produce trance music under Weird Walker nickname.

Since 2000 to 2004 played at many clubs and events in Moscow as Weird Walker and released some tracks on trance labels.

In 2004 his musical style turned to techno music and started to play as DJ Combinator.

He engaged in two musical projects - Bip Soup (techno, minimal), which has received support from many dj's and producers all over the world, and a new - Combinator (deep house, detroit house).

Kaum is a duet from Vicenza that is featured by Elia Donadello and Michele Guazzo.

Over the last 10 years the name “Kriece” has become synonymous with dance music in Australia. Kriece initially made his name as a dj, supporting names such as Sasha, Digweed, Cattaneo & Zabiela on Australian tours such as Ministry of Sound, Renaissance & Cream.

It has only been in the last 5 years that Kriece has gained worldwide recognition for his production work. After a solid debut on EQ Grey Records, Kriece came to the attention of many with his remix of Aphex Twin’s “Windowlicker” which was licensed to Renaissance for James Zabiela’s “Utilities” Mix CD.

In 2005, he teamed up with James Zabiela & Jeff Bennett to record “We Make Contact” as The Flying Doctors. This track was given an Oliver Lieb Remix & became the debut release on Kriece’s label “Kindred Sounds” – becoming a fixture in sets of djs such as Sasha.

2006 became Kriece’s breakthrough year, being signed to an artist deal with the world’s most renowned house label “20:20 Vision” and being called in for remix duties for James Zabiela’s “Weird Science” on Renaissance.

These releases were further cemented by remixes on Infusion’s “Music for Vinyl” label & Nic Fanciulli’s “Saved Records” and a new collaboration with Jeff Bennett and new EP’s on labels such as EQ Grey.

In October & November 2006, Kriece again hit the road with an extensive tour of South America, including a massive gig at the legendary “Creamfields” festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, alongside acts such as Underworld & Sasha.

Deep Future is the production and performance of electronic music. All tracks are written and recorder by one west of Ireland artist, Brian Durkin. Brian started his love of music at an early age by experimenting with synths and house music production in the early 90s and then going on to train as a professional sound engineer. Since then he has combined his love of synths with multiple DAWs giving him that professional edge he always desired.

This combination offers a unique clear Melodic feel giving him a distinct signature on all his tracks and remixes. Brian has received support from tops acts like John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Andy Mac, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Satoshi Tomie. In 2010 he was signed up with 5 Labels with a massive 20 Tracks signed. If people think of Switzerland, they think of green meadows, clear water, snow-covered mountain tops and fresh air. In the world of electronic music they think of soulful house music and a history of great parties and clubs. It is in both these environments that Marco Biagini aka KELLERKIND grows up in.

In the small and rural town of Solothurn KELLERKIND discoveres Chicago house music in the local clubs and becomes fully infected with the virus of house music. 15 years later, KELLERKIND has become an irreplaceable figure in the Swiss electronic music scene. When it started, it was fun. Now it is passion.

After many nights spent on the dancefloor at Solothurn’s then only good club “Nachtschicht”, KELLERKIND starts to DJ, first in the bedroom and soon in the clubs in and around his home town. The warm and soulful music of Chicago and deep house remain his biggest influences when he starts to blend together his favourite tracks on the turntables.

Very quickly he starts to play out in all of Switzerland’s big clubs. His clever arrangements of tracks, but even more so his constantly pulsating and grooving sets become a trademark that can still be heard in his DJ sets today. “It’s all about the groove”, he claims for himself.

By 2007 Marco has already played the biggest and most important clubs in Switzerland from Zurich’s Hive, Rohstofflager, Rote Fabrik, Zukunft to Berns Formbar. However, his career really kicks off with his first release “Bergluft” in 2008.

Since 2001 KELLERKIND has been producing music. His name, which translates as “the child from the basement”, can be taken quite literally, as he spends hours and hours creating his warm house sounds and arranging tracks in his basement studio in Solothurn.

In 2007 KELLERKIND meets the guys behind Swiss house imprint Sirion Recordings and in 2008 he releases “Bergluft”, a track that gets worldwide feedback. It is played by many famous DJs, charts at number 5 of Beatport’s minimal charts and is played by John Digweed on his radio show on UK’s Kiss100.

After this debut release things happen quickly: Florian Meindl releases his first EP “Keller EP” on his label Flash Recordings, of which the tracks “Natural Juice” and “TomTom” chart very high in various different techno charts. Later the tracks are re-released on vinyl as the “Don’t Go Home” EP, which charts highly with record retailers such as decks.de.

In 2009 KELLERKIND first starts to work with Oliver Koletzki producing a remix for his track “Since you are gone”, which receives great feedback within the scene. Since then he has already released his own EP on Stil vor Talent together with Niko Schwind, a homage to house music with a modern approach to dance music. And there is more to come.

Since his first release KELLERKIND DJ career has taken a sharp turn: he has played Berlin’s famous Watergate, frequently plays at Hive Club in Zurich and many other international dance venues. While taking the energy from the club on to his records, KELLERKIND enjoys the contrast from the weekend during the week: he produces his tracks in a small wooden hut somewhere tucked away deeply in the Swiss countryside.

It is here that his warm and soulful tracks are produced, it is here that he replenishes his batteries from long weekends spent between Zurich and Berlin. “Most of my influences still come from weekends spent in clubs”, he states and one can hear that in both his DJ sets and his productions. There is always this pulsating groove, this unstoppable energy that makes KELLERKIND music so unique, and so danceable.

Dimitris Karipidishas been a music fan since 12 years old. At the age of 15 he started listening electronic dance music.As the years passing he start djing and producing music in his free time.

Hailing from Paris via London via Istanbul, don’t call our multi-instrumentalist French. Born and raised in Istanbul, studied in London, and relocated to Paris in 2005, Tolga Fidan considers himself Turkish above all else.

At just 14, Tolga was playing bass and guitar in post rock bands. Always drawn to experimental music, he was taken with the sounds of Sonic Youth, Autechre, Pansonic, and Austrian experimentalists Fennesz. From this past, Tolga’s musical interest organically morphed into deep techno, signed exclusively with Vakant, and became the label’s youngest-ever artist.

Since breaking into the electronic dance music consciousness with his first ever release "Now I’m Weak EP" on Vakant (VA009) in 2006, he has earned the esteem of fans and techno heavyweights the world over in record time. Perhaps even more freaky, his lush and beautifully produced debut EP was created from the most modest bedroom studio means and mixed on headphones costing less than a round of late night drunken kebabs. Almost instantly this EP got the attention of people like Sven Vath. From there, in 2007 Tolga released "Venice / Tanbulistan EP" (VA014) to critical appeal. Unprecedentedly a track from both his first 2 EPs was licensed to Cocoon for their seventh and eighth season Ibiza mix compilations.

Continuing his exclusive roll on Vakant, Tolga most recently let loose his third installment "All Pleasure Is Relief EP" (VA018), a moving, evolving, and sprawling electronic soundscape. This last work perhaps best illustrates the breadth of Tolga scope incorporating a multi ethnic feel, showcasing his musicality, and redrawing techno boundaries.

Together with Vakant, Tolga Fidan’s bottomless sound, constantly morphing arrangement, and eclectic sound design that somehow points towards the orient have taken him so far in so little time.

I was born in Istanbul, 1983, but raised in Athens from Italian mother and a Hellenic rooted father! Weird blend huh? Unfortunately I had not an important influence in music by my house. But in House is where i got into!

I started experimenting in mixing tapes at the first mini Hi-Fi my pop brought me. Various music genres and styles passed from me in order for me to end up somewhere. But the truth is that the music journey never ends! I was always trying to be in association with the upcoming trends but something happened in me when I heard Dr. Dre’s “Nothin’ but a G thang” (The Chronic – 1992), back in 1996. That’s was it! Hip-Hop and R’n’B became my shelter!

By that time you could find me almost in every event, festival, concert, party or whatever that had to do with my favorite sounds and culture. Though I was always trying to impart my love and taste in music to the world, in 2001 i stand behind the decks of a local bar and I state myself as a Hip-Hop and R’n’B Dj!

From 2001 to 2006 I was hosted at Venues around Athens and Radio Stations such as Planet FM and Atlantis FM but also in big events such as “The Athens Tunning Show” (2006) and “Step In The Arena – Mc Battle Show” (2007) dropping a blend of Underground Hip-Hop, Fat Beats, Oldschool / Newschool R’N’B and today im acknowledged as one of the first Dj's in Athens, who spinned Hip Hop and R'n'B in Clubs!

My name was also affiliated with the first official party organizing team (MAD G.Q.) that put Hip Hop and R'n'B Music in Athens’s Clubs… WORD! In 2006 also I co-created my own team (The Benjamins) and started throwing my own events in some of the best Clubs in Athens. As my pursuit in music grew deeper, my need for creation and creativity increased.

Therefore I established a band called “Silent Forces” and and our only job that came to light was a mixtape with straight Underground Hip-Hop sound that found immediately followers in the Hip-Hop community!

After one more brief stint in Hip-Hop and R’n’B i realized that the music i was so into it had changed a lot and it didn’t inspired me that much anymore! So I did a radical change and I focused deeply and exclusively to the roots of these sounds, such as Soul, NeoSoul, Funk, Rare Grooves and Underground Disco of the late 70’s and early 80’s!

As one thing came to another it was a natural thing for me to get involved with House as well… As i realized the effect House had on me and on people i assured that i have found my second shelter! Whether was Soulful, DiscoHouse, Jackin, Afro or whatever its was all beautiful to me… it was HOUSE! As i gained friction with House, I got a preference in DEEP, DEEP TECH and Nu-Disco and that i keep till now!

As a clubber myself and really faithful in the clubbing philosophy (happy feeling and dance) i try to provide that music I would like to listen and dance to! I know its selfish but its really effective if you consider the recognition and the respect that i gained from people around the world for my taste and my feeling in what I do!

How I did it?

Pure love and… Aw! Through my “MAKE YOURSELF LIKE… HOUSE” Radio shows that are hosted in numerous radios in Hellas and around the globe. (But mostly endless love for music). That’s why i sticked and joined DeepSoul Kollektiv. A collective of producers / djs and people whom aim is to make people go out, dance & have fun! ...to have a valid and widely supported reason strap their dancing shoes on and go get partied up from Athens to Germany, from Czech Republic to England, from Ukraine to Croatia and Slovakia where DeepSoul Kollektiv are participating in events and more! A team that brings artists together, collaborates with the local and national community and is also open to any suggestions and support by it’s fans!

After all… dj’s and artists are nothing without the support and music is nothing without passion !!!
