We are partnering with Cosmopawlitan Pet Boutique + Spa to find a unique dog with character to be featured in their press materials and online presence. 

There will be a Judge’s Choice and a Public Vote Winner, as well as a runner-up prize. The two top winners will receive a full groom by Cosmopawlitan Pet Boutique + Spa and a photography session with Marcia Leeder Photography at the spa in downtown Toronto.

The contest is exclusive to dogs, Ontario residents and Facebook users.

Submissions: Friday March 1, 2013 – Thursday. March 7, 2013
Voting: Friday March 8, 2013 – Sunday March 17, 2013
Winner Announced: Monday March 18, 2013

Pet Valu Queen Street East (at Coxwell)…we’ve been there before, is throwing a Customer Appreciation Day event and you’re all invited.

so come on down and receive a complimentary sitting for your pet. here are the deets:

the complimentary sitting allows you a 5×7 print (which will be ready for pick-up back at the store within two weeks after the session).

you will have an option to upgrade to a larger print on the day with a donation to P.A.W.S. Rescue . cash only please.

speaking of rescues, this event is the perfect opportunity to bring your foster and adoptable dogs to. we’ll get a great photo of them and we will help you promote them online.

since this event is holiday-themed, we will have a festive background colour and props available for the shoot (ie. Santa hat, jingle collar, festive toys). i want to make it clear that i won’t be adding any unnecessary stress to your pet’s experience. if they aren’t happy sitting wearing a Santa hat, i will not force it upon them. if you have something from home that your pet is already comfortable with, please bring it with you. treats will always be on hand too!

there will be raffles for prizes and snack and beverages. it’s going to be a fun day. i hope to see you and dogs there!

as soon as i start to stir i hear the thumps of a happy tail against the covers. as soon as i open my eyes, the first thing i see is the inside of Little Dude’s mouth as he yawns (the first of many). there’s nothing quite like the waft of stinky dog breath to wake you up. his SUPER YAWN makes me laugh out loud every single morning. it’s impossible for me to wake up in a bad mood…impossible.

then we snuggle for a few minutes…and then Archie starts playing with my feet.

Archie moves his way up to my face and settles in for some snuggles.

he begins to paw my face, “get up…i want food!”

i adore these two little rockstars in the making. they have the hair, the shades, the attitude and the tattoos (temporary for now). it’s only a matter of time. consider yourself warned mom and dad.
