Its a 2 hour build up a whole host of genres, starting with downtempo & dub beats building up to a couple of tracks of Orbital live & then a selection of minimixes. The minimixes feature brand new techno &  rolling progressive tracks, new breakbeat & old school breaks, brand new dubstep, and then some new uplifting liquid drum &  bass. There’s about 6 mini-mixes and the shows put together as a whole with jingles from Ash.

We’ve also got content from 4 brum based artists, 1st is our 1st audio doc thing courtesy of Dj smokedog, with his brief history of electronic music from 85-93 which gives an insight into his love of Old Skool, & then we’ve also got 2 mixes, from Brum based promoters, one is a liquid mix from Night Times & Breakthru head honcho Ric aka Dj Reaction (who’ll you can catch this Sat 13th march at our free party @hare&hounds), then a track from night times best local dj Aries, & then we’ve got a reggae mix from the mighty Jam Jah who rocked our last live & free event.

Another 2 eclectic mixes with narrative and very little talking this week on our 21st Mr Elephant Radio show hosted by Marc Reck on Rhubarb Radio.

This week’s show is 40 tracks with a theme loosely based on Journeys. The first hour is coming from “Mr Elephant’s Journey Round the World” (with each track from a different country), and the last mix “Journey to the edge of somewhere” is coming from the set performed at our 2nd Project X Presents event of the same name (which was also all based on Joseph Cambell’s The Heroes Journey).
