It is just so sad that when she passed away, I was not able to go home to say goodbye, but I was there a few months before she passed away.

Tita Jean, I know you are one of our guardian angels now, please keep on watching over us and give teme, lola belen and lola nene hugs and kisses for us. May all of you rest in peace!

Gloomy Day

noreply@blogger.com (Maria) — Fri, 30 Oct 2015 15:32:00 +0000

It has been gloomy and raining the whole morning, I love weather like this but only when I have no plans to do. Since, my mother is coming to visit us, there are so many things that I want to do. My husband and I were planning on running some errands and buying some groceries but I guess we will need to put a hold on that since the weather is not so good and we do not want our baby to get sick.

Weather like this makes me so lazy, I just want to stay in bed to sleep or just watch tv. On other note, I cannot wait for my mom to be here already, we are gonna surprise my eldest son and I cannot wait to see his reactions when he see his Loley Nori.

Be safe you all, stay dry and warm! :-)

Since, I am not sleepy yet and I am trying to get sleepy, I am watching one of my favorite shows on Netflix which is the Orange Is The New Black. It has been so long since I watched but I guess I am down to two episodes before I finish watching them all. I am kind of sad because I only have two more episodes left to watch, I guess that's the reason why I stopped watching the show because I know I would have to wait again for I do not know how long for the next season.

On another note, I have decided to watch it because I just cannot resist watching it no more!

Have you cast your vote today?I regret to say that I did not. I became a United Citizen last year and I know it is one of my responsibilities as a US Citizen to vote. There are so many things that I have to learn about US Politics, I just do not want to vote just to vote, I want to make sure that when I cast my vote, it is for the right reason.

On another note, Congratulations to whoever wins this election and I hope and Pray that all of you will do your duty right, as people chose you to be our leaders and you chose to serve our country.

2014 World Series Champion

noreply@blogger.com (Maria) — Fri, 31 Oct 2014 04:41:00 +0000

I became a fan of baseball when my son started playing it. I admit, I didn't really know a lot of baseball but I have been learning since my son started playing.

Anyway, I know it might be too late but I have to share about 2014 World Series Champion, the San Francisco Giants. It's their 3rd title in 5 season.

Congratulations to The Giants!

Redskins vs. Cowboys

noreply@blogger.com (Maria) — Tue, 28 Oct 2014 04:19:00 +0000

Tonight's game between Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys was really intense. Both teams showed and gave their best for tonight's game. Tony Romo got injured during the 3rd quarter but came back around 4th quarter.

Redskins vs. Cowboys ended up having an OT, Redskins scored 3 points which made them the winner for tonight's game. My husband blamed it on Tony Romo, he said Tony Romo couldn't play well under pressure.

Anyway, the Dallas Cowboys has been doing really great, too bad they lost tonight's game to the underdog team, the Washington Redskins.

Bass Bridge Replacement

noreply@blogger.com (Maria) — Wed, 19 Mar 2014 05:14:00 +0000

My husband and I are really so proud of our little boy. Besides school and sports, he also want to engage in music activities. My husband and I are planning on enrolling him into music school in the Summer. When my husband and I told our son what we have in mind, he did not hesitate saying yes! I am so glad to know that he really likes music, he said he couldn't wait on how to learn to play some music instruments.

On another note, I am glad that I do not have to worry about fixing or replacing any of his music instruments in the future because I know where exactly to get it just like the bass bridge replacement.

Temple's 8th St. Patrick's Fun Run/Walk Marathon

noreply@blogger.com (Maria) — Wed, 19 Mar 2014 05:08:00 +0000

My husband and I were really so proud of our son when he decided to join Temple's 8th St. Patrick's Fun Run/Walk Marathon last Saturday in Temple, Texas. It was his first time to do a 5k marathon and we are really so excited and happy for him. I would admit that I was really nervous because he has never did it before and it is his first time to do something on his own. I was really hesitant when my husband told me that our boy wanted to join the marathon and he was excited about it, how could I say no?

Anyway, my love finished his first 5k run/walk marathon in less than 40 minutes, I am not a runner so I do not know if that was fast enough or not, nevertheless, my husband and I are really so proud of him. A lot of people were telling us that he did really great, especially for a first timer and he's only 8 years old! :-)

On another note, my little love cannot wait for his next marathon and so my husband and I!
