Photographing my best friend’s beautiful daughter at the Jefferson Memorial for her senior session was such a full-circle moment. I remember first meeting her in the hospital the day after she was born! She’s creative, hilarious, genuinely kind, and one incredibly talented lacrosse player, but more than that, she’s the kind of person who lights up every room she walks into.

We had the most beautiful evening for this stunning senior’s portraits at the Manassas battlefield. She was looking for a field in a natural setting during golden hour, and I know we found the perfect location. I’ve known this senior she was just four year old, and I have taken many portraits of her and her sweet family throughout the years. My Senior! | Tuscany, Italy Senior Portraits

It’s hard to believe my sweet Giselle is a senior! I’m in denial about it, actually, but I’m so thankful we carved time out of our vacation to take her senior portraits in Tuscany. I almost didn’t bring my “real” camera on our summer trip, but when I arrived at our gorgeous home rental in San Gimignano, Italy I realized how crushed I would have been to not have it with me. Although I’m sure this won’t be the last session I do with her this year, I’m thrilled we could capture Giselle’s love of travel in her first round of portraits. I’m going to miss my beautiful girl so much next year, but I’m so excited for her to spread her wings. I just hope she’s prepared for me to visit her often, wherever she lands in the fall! 🙂
