Due to unforeseen problems with Stampin' Up!'s supplier for Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Watercolor Pencils, they have decided to discontinue these two products. Watercolor Pencils (#101879) and Watercolor Wonder Crayons Brights Collection (#119804), which have been on the Backorder Report for about a week, will no longer be available, effective immediately. If your order has not been shipped due to its status in backorder, they will not be able to fill it. Stampin' Up! will soon begin processing refunds for these items. Keep in mind that it may take a few days to see the reimbursement in your account.

Now for the good news! We still have the remaining collections of the Watercolor Wonder Crayons available to order. The Subtles (#119802), Neutrals (#119805), and Regals (#119803) Collections are only available while supplies last. Get 'em before they're gone! You don't want to miss out on these! TECHNIQUE THURSDAY; Chalkboard Valentine...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Love is in the air today! I would like to wish my family, friends and customers all around the country a magical day filled with love. Know that you are loved and appreciated by me each and every day!

Since it is Thursday, I thought I would share a chalkboard card from my Technique Thursday class. I kept it very simple and focused on the technique. It is more of a "love" card since there is no mention of V-Day. That way it can be used for many occasions for someone you love–just add a sentiment appropriate for the occasion to the inside! A free mini tutorial for the chalkboard technique follows the supply list. Enjoy!

CHALKBOARD TECHNIQUE DIRECTIONS:

Stamp images with VersaMark ink on to black card stock and heat emboss with white embossing powder.
Add “chalk dust” by using a sponge or soft cloth to pick up a little white craft ink from the pad and gently rub the card stock where you might naturally see eraser marks.
Use a white colored pencil to add hand-drawn details like a border, lines, shadowing and fun doodles to the chalkboard.
Optional: To add a realistic touch, stamp all of the sentiments again with white craft ink—shifting the design slightly to create a "shadow" effect. Allow to dry.

IT'S AMORE VALENTINE HEART LOLLIPOPS...

Tonight was my monthly Bunco game night. I like to give little treats to the ladies on the holiday months or when it's my turn to host. Unfortunately I forgot that it was Valentine's month until less than an hour before the game. Yikes!

So, it was More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper to the rescue! It includes these adorable scalloped laser cut hearts in both Primrose Petals and Real Red. All I had to add was a scalloped heart cut with one of the Hearts A Flutter Framelits. Then tie ribbon onto the heart shaped lollipop and attach it to the hearts. Not exactly up to my usual level of craftiness, but very quick & easy!

I only had a moment to throw the pops into the basket and snap a quick photo, so please forgive the lack of proper arrangement and picture taking!

HEART A FLUTTER VALENTINE CARD...

In the new Spring Catalog, there is a stamp set called Hearts A Flutter. For some reason, I was imaging butterflies and hearts, but there were no butterflies in the set. Don't get me wrong–it's an adorable set. But, the image of fluttering butterflies and hearts stuck in my mind. So, I decided I needed to do a heart filled with fluttering butterflies–all in shades of pink. Hope you like it!

No worries, though, you'll have everything you need to complete the project: paper, stamps, ink, accessories, and more! (You will need adhesive.)

Q: Will the items in each Paper Pumpkin be available for sale individually?
A: Part of the fun of having a Paper Pumpkin membership is receiving exclusive products to play with! Most of the items in your Paper Pumpkin are exclusive, never-before seen products (can you say yippee?) You will, however, see a few tried-and-true products in your Paper Pumpkin that you can buy individually in the catalog.

Q: Is my subscription on auto renew?
A: Yes, your subscription is on auto renew. However, you can skip a month or cancel at any time. Simply log on to your account on www.mypaperpumpkin.com and click skip a month before the 10th of the month in order to skip the Paper Pumpkin for that month. If you click skip a month on the 11th of the month, you will receive that month's Paper Pumpkin and not receive the following month's Paper Pumpkin.

Q: When do I need to sign up in order to get my Paper Pumpkin for a specific month?
