Tim Skold Rejoins Marilyn Manson

Marilyn Manson announced on his Instagram page today (February 17, 2026) the return of Tim Skold to the band following last months departure of Tyler Bates. He did this with two photos of him and Skold together, captioning one with the anticipated announcement: "We are the things of shapes to come. MM + TS." According to the dictionary, "If you say that something is the shape of things to come, you mean that it is the start of a new trend or development, and in the future things will be like this." Tim Skold likewise posted the photo on his Instagram page, after wiping out everything else, including those who he follows, choosing to follow only Marilyn Manson. This indicates that he is all in on his return to the band.

Skold was a pivotal member of the band from 2002 to 2008, serving as producer, bassist, and guitarist. He was the primary collaborator on the albums The Golden Age of Grotesque and Eat Me, Drink Me.

Tim Skold has been one of Marilyn Manson's most vocal and consistent supporters, both personally and professionally. Their friendship was publicly reaffirmed following the 2021 abuse allegations against Manson. He also collaborated with Manson during the Donda sessions for Kanye West in 2021 and 2022. Most recently, on January 4, 2026, Skold attended Manson's birthday party in Los Angeles, appearing in photos with Manson and their respective partners.

While Skold does not appear on Manson’s 2024 album One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1, fans have speculated since the departure of Tyler Bates last month that he was a likely successor. It will be exciting to see him rejoin the band in live performances and contribute to this new era of Marilyn Manson.

Marilyn Manson in the Epstein Files? The Real Story

On January 30, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) released a massive, and likely final, batch of files related to the investigations into Jeffrey Epstein, totaling over 3 million pages, 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images.

This release was mandated by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump in November 2025, requiring the DOJ to produce its files related to the late sex offender and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Together with the Epstein files, which strictly are files obtained from Jeffrey Epstein himself, and in which Marilyn Manson is never mentioned as having any sort of association with Epstein, the DOJ included a number of separate documents that consist of "anonymous tips." It is a document in one of these anonymous tips that the name Marilyn Manson can be found, in document EFTA00154698.

In the context of document EFTA00154698, an "anonymous tip" refers to information submitted by a member of the public through the FBI’s tip line rather than being derived from a formal Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation or official witness interview.

The designation of this document as an anonymous tip has several implications:

Unverified Allegations: Tips are considered unsubstantiated until investigators can corroborate them. Many tips in the Epstein release have been noted by the DOJ to be "fake or falsely submitted," or based on hearsay and secondhand information.

Investigative Leads: Tips are used as "intel reports" to put potential suspects or activities on law enforcement's radar. If the information is deemed credible, it can lead to further action, such as search warrants or interviews, though a tip alone is rarely sufficient for legal charges.

Transparency vs. Reliability: Because the Epstein Files Transparency Act mandated the release of all responsive materials, the DOJ included thousands of tip line entries that they had not necessarily vetted or proved to be true.

Context for Manson: In the specific case of the document mentioning Marilyn Manson, the tip reportedly involves a claim of a woman who says Marilyn Manson was invited to her house when she was a child by her father where he may or may not have done something to her, but does not necessarily accuse him of direct criminal activity with Epstein.

Critics have argued that including these unverified tips in the public dump can mislead the public or damage reputations by mixing credible evidence with random, unproven submissions from the public.

What Does Document EFTA00154698 Say?

On January 15, 2025, an attorney, presumably the prosecutor in the Ghislaine Maxwell case, received an anonymous email with the following in the subject line: "Epstien, Marshall mathers, and Marilyn manson". It is from a female who said she worked at West's Mogadore Country Club (closed since 2012) near Akron, Ohio from 2002 to 2004 as a cleaner and cook, and she was under 18 at the time.

Her first claim, and the reason it is associated with Epstein, is that Epstein and Maxwell came to the bar of the country club she worked at, and says he had a bed moved into the banquet space.

Another claim is that Marshall Mathers (Eminem) came into the bar with another man, and the man with her boss and the owner of the country club at the time, Eric West, had the tipper drugged, shaved her pubic hair, raped, and some black guy threatened her life with a knife to her throat while she was naked.

Regarding Marilyn Manson, she claims many possible memories with him, but one that she says she remembers clearly took place at her aunt's house, which Manson visited at least twice, once when she was 10 or 11 and another time at 13. The first time, she says, her dad allowed Manson to trace her breasts over her white t-shirt. The second time Manson came with a bunch of men and said something that upset her father who allegedly had to escort his daughter outside the house and told her she would never see "Brian," what they called Manson, again.

She also claims Diddy came to her trailer park home near Akron in 2010 or 2011 while she was pregnant and 300lbs (she says she was always obese and unattractive) and was outside videotaping her. She describes her unattractive appearance because it seemed to baffle her that Diddy was stalking her.

Though she is not specific, she says she wears eyeglasses "that are often taken from me," but seems to have no idea who takes them from her.

She says that she tried to talk to her dad before he died in 2020 about these things, but he refused to say anything.

A mention is also made of her ex-boyfriend who would have his drug dealer rape her.

What Conclusions Can We Draw From This Document?

First of all, I tend towards believing what the anonymous woman in the email says is not a lie. However, she sounds like she is going through a real struggle with her memories, and she often admits this in her email. For example:

1. When talking about the bed in the banquet hall related to Epstein, she says: "My memories of seeing it there are hazy like I was drugged or under hypnosis."

2. After describing her Eminem story, she says: "Most of my memories feel unreal. I'm hoping by telling someone I can find a sense of realness and healing. They've started playing over and over in my head."

3. In regards to Manson, she says: "All of the memories I have of Marilyn manson feel like a dream or hypnosis except the ones at my aunts house... After that my memories all feel like I was either drugged around him or under some kind of hypnosis."

4. Regarding her Diddy memories, she says: "I also have memories of being around P-diddy. But I can't place how or why he would have been in my home... I remember someone who I think is diddy. Taking a video with a phone."

5. And in her concluding remarks, she says: "My memories are still becoming increasingly over whelming. They keep me awake at night."

With so many memory issues and claims of hypnosis and drugging by famous people the media associates with abusive behavior, in a remote Ohio location where these famous people are never reported to be in, all focused on a teenage unattractive obese girl, it becomes very clear that there is in fact no basis to the reality of these claims, and anyone who entertains that there is any credibility to her claims is either very dishonest, naive, or disingenuous.

There are many questions the anonymous tipper leaves unanswered. For example, how was she a cook in an Ohio country club when she was under 18? How did she know of Epstein and Maxwell in the early 2000's and recognize them when she was under 18? What did she do after she was violently raped and threatened at the country club she worked in? How did her family know Manson so well that he would often visit her house at a time when he was a rising international rock star living in Los Angeles and was not known for spending any time in Ohio after he moved from there in 1989?

The most important question I would like answered is how long has she had these foggy memories? They sound like they were in the process of forming very recently from when she wrote her email in 2025, prompting her to write about the affliction they were causing her and even increasing. Though she does mention talking about something in 2020, but what exactly this was is unclear.

It should be noted also that from 2002 to 2004, Eminem never played a show near Akron, just one in Cleveland. Marilyn Manson performed once at the Akron Rhoades Arena as part of his 1995 tour, which would place the tipper under the age she reports, and on later tours played Columbus and Cleveland, which are over an hour away from Akron. Epstein ran a property in Columbus, which is some distance from Akron, but this was among his many properties around the world; he is not associated with anything near Akron. Though Diddy did tour in 2011, he had no stops in Ohio. If any of them were involved in any sort of abuse towards the anonymous tipper, they would have had to travel some distance to do so. And as of 2025, Ohio has 148 country clubs, which is roughly about the same in 2002, so why they would all choose that specific country club and the Akron area is a complete mystery.

My conclusion to this anonymous tip is what should be very clear and obvious to everyone who reads it: the tipper, if not outright lying, has severe mental health issues, and is in need of therapy to deal with her affliction. Nothing of what she says makes any rational sense. To support her testimony is to help discredit the testimony of real survivors.

It's very clear these memories developed based on what she was hearing and reading in the news about these famous people, and in her fragile mental state developed her own memories of these people doing things to her what they have become known in the media for in recent years.

Marilyn Manson Accusers Further Discrediting Themselves By Endorsing This Testimony

False accusers are the quickest to believe lies like the above because they are inclined towards perpetuating their own alleged victimhood through slander and bearing false witness, which is why they are such bad false accusers and liars and easily discredited. This is why it's no surprise that former Manson accusers will easily buy into the conspiracy theories and witch hunts being peddled by the release of the Epstein files, which weakens the position of focusing on the real and true issues of the cases and incidents involved. Leave it to people like Dan Cleary, Louise Keay Bell and Bianca Allaine Kyne to be quick to endorse without question the anonymous email tip above released with the Epstein files, being among the least credible of all the Manson accusers. This should have been an easy opportunity for them to gain a small fraction of credibility by at least showing some skepticism and respect for facts, but even when given a golden opportunity, they failed in the most pathetic way.

Evan Rachel Wood Unsurprisingly Takes Things To Another Level

Evan Rachel Wood has long been known for fully embracing conspiracy theories and participating in witch hunts, while trying to give the appearance of being a moderate guru who takes middle ground positions. But like the three accusers mentioned above, she has long been a very naive radical who is quick to accuse and see her own victimhood in convenient places. Anyone following Evan on Instagram, even in recent days, knows how paranoid she can get about things (you get the feeling that she thinks everyone and everything is out to get her), and with the release of the Epstein files it has given her an opportunity to promote her twisted victimhood narrative by making the following posts, which includes calling out Marilyn Manson for being in the Epstein files.

The A.I. posts about Manson she quotes from comes from a website called SHOCKYA, which describes itself as "reporting since 2010 on systemic corruption inside the entertainment business." But the article is clearly written with the intention of presenting false allegations as facts. Here is one very clear example from the same article about Johnny Depp that everyone should know is completely false:

"In 2018, Johnny Depp starred in the movie about the murders of Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G., called ‘City of Lies,’ in which he worked closely with the Notorious B.I.G. estate, which was then still controlled by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his companies. Soon after, Johnny Depp was also working on a cover album of the Notorious B.I.G. album ‘Ready to Die,’ led by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, with Marilyn Manson, Jay-Z, and several others joining. The album was killed in 2021 when a cease and decist letter was sent to one of the producers, just as the project started to fall apart due to infighting."

It is from this same article that Evan gets her information from. So let's focus on what it says about Marilyn Manson and the Epstein files:

"Strangely, some of Manson’s files have been scrubbed from the DOJ website. Luckily, internet sleuths were able to save the files before they disappeared. In one of the files, Manson is mentioned in a report by an Assistant US Attorney, along with Marshall Mathers AKA Eminem, and Diddy."

First of all, we made it clear that technically Manson is not mentioned in the Epstein files, but that a very recent anonymous tip was included with the files simply because it mentions the name Epstein and it was sent to a prosecutor for Maxwell. And we fully covered how absolutely absurd it is to give any credibility to this anonymous tip.

Secondly, it talks about other Manson files being scrubbed from the DOJ website, but "internet sleuths" saved the file before it disappeared. This is an exaggerated claim, even false. There is no Manson file. The DOJ took down a file of photos that belonged to Epstein which showed underage girls naked or in sexual positions. The file contained 100 photos, mostly pornography, censored, some of which showed what perhaps could be underage girls, though it is censored enough to not really know, except perhaps in one or two cases. Photo 90 of the 100 was a photo of Marilyn Manson and Rose McGowan at the VMA's where Rose wore her revealing dress, and it was clearly with this stash of pornography because of the revealing outfit Rose was wearing and not because of Manson. The file (EFTA01645970) was saved in the Wayback Machine and can be seen here, but the photo in question is below if you don't want to scroll through a bunch of porn. The so-called "internet sleuths" was the linked Reddit post which shows the photo of Manson and McGowan.

What this article is doing is purposefully making Manson look like he was more a part of these Epstein files than he actually was. In fact, it is more accurate to say Manson is not in the Epstein files at all, unless you count the photo of him standing next to Rose, the latter being clearly the focus in this instance.

But you know who is actually mentioned in the Epstein files? Yes, Evan Rachel Wood is named in several places in the Epstein files. If you look up her name, you will see two emails where Epstein is invited to two movie premiers, films which Evan was in, and she is named. Epstein did attend one of the premiers, which means she may have met Epstein. Does this mean Evan is guilty of anything nefarious? Of course not. It only means she is in the Epstein files and Manson is not, and neither of them had anything to do with Epstein, so stop looking for a witch hunt or anything nefarious that does not exist in reality.

Concluding Remarks

Right before Evan posted about Manson being in the Epstein files, she made the following statement to twist the narrative in her favor:

This is the type of evidence that Evan Rachel Wood brings to the table. She believes her distorted conspiracies and fantasies are "mountains of evidence," enough to destroy lives just because they are named along with Epstein, ignoring the fact that she is as much named in the files as others or even more than those she wants arrested. Just because you say you have "mountains of evidence" doesn't mean its true until you present it all, and she has never presented her mountains of evidence, even though she has had many opportunities, including numerous interviews and a few documentaries. Such manipulation is common with Evan, making baseless claims to turn the narrative in her favor. And the "burden of proof" is indeed high, because the stakes are high. She posts about women being burned alive as witches in the 17th century because there was a low burden of proof against them, but what if the burden of proof was so high that it was commensurate with them losing their lives? I think she would agree this would have given them an opportunity to receive greater justice. Instead with her statement she is basically arguing in favor of the witch hunt mentality which requires one to believe in a low burden of proof, as the MeToo movement does and the accusations against Marilyn Manson are. It is always better, if need be, to let someone guilty go free due to lack of evidence than for an innocent man to be convicted and destroyed because the burden of proof against slanders and lies was too low.

On February 5th 2026, Dodge released a new commercial on their YouTube channel for their Next-Gen Dodge Charger Scat Pack, the "World's Fastest AWD Muscle Car," choosing as a soundtrack for their Misfit campaign Marilyn Manson's cover of the Phil Collins song "In The Air Tonight."

Previously the Manson's cover song “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” was used in a 2006 Fiat Grande Punto commercial.

February 5th 2026 Marks Fives Years of Sobriety for Marilyn Manson

On February 5th 2026 marks five successful years of sobriety for Marilyn Manson. He celebrated this truly praiseworthy achievement by posting about it on his social media pages.

The first post is the photo at the top of this post, taken by his wife Lindsay Warner, which Manson captioned with "Front Toward Your Enemy." This caption reminds us of the song "Front Toward Enemy" released by Manson in September 2024 as a B-Side from the "Raise the Red Flag" Maxi-CD Single, which some speculate will be on his next album. I wrote an analysis of this song and was provided with the official lyrics back in September 2024, where I associated the song with Manson's recent struggles, including the fight for his sobriety.

The second post came from Lindsay, who reposted the same photo Manson posted in her Instastories, where she wrote: "Immeasurably proud of the man you are, and the life you’ve chosen to live.”

The third and final post about this from Manson is what he had posted last year on this date, namely his sobriety tracker. What we learn from this is that Manson has been sober exactly 5 years, 8 hours, 47 minutes, and 33 seconds at the time the screenshot was taken, with 1,826 total days of continuous sobriety.

Manson first publicly spoke about reaching almost four years of sobriety during his 56th birthday celebration in January 2025. This recent post marks the official completion of his fifth year.

He has credited his friends, family, and his wife, Lindsay Warner, for their support during his recovery journey, which coincided with a period of legal challenges and a subsequent career comeback.

Evan Rachel Wood Releases First Solo EP as Lenore Pink

Almost five years to the day when Evan Rachel Wood came out on Instagram and named Marilyn Manson as her abuser, she released her first solo EP under the pseudonym Lenore Pink. The EP, released today (2/4/26) on Spotify and Apple and can be heard also on her YouTube channel, consists of three songs, which she says she has worked on for a number of years and is finally now releasing during this time in her career when she decided to take a break from acting.

With the release of this EP she also did an interview on the American Songwriter channel, where she mostly talks about her current life and breaks down how the new EP came together. In this interview, Evan continues her streak of never referring to her 12 year old as a son, but awkwardly struggles to call him "kid", "they", "them", "people", "person". Jaime Bell however has no problem calling Jack his son.

As for the name Lenore Pink, Evan said in an interview back in August that she’s been using it privately for years. “I really deliberated over what I was gonna do, and I’ve had a pseudonym since high school that I’ve always made music under,” she said. “And I thought, ‘Don’t overthink it, just use the name you picked 20 years ago.’ So that’s what I’m doing.”

Evan talks about introducing the world to Lenore Pink, in the interview with American Songwriter, which she claims is a name she came up with for herself in high school. What she fails to mention is that Marilyn Manson fans who followed their relationship on MySpace recall the name Lenore Pink as her profile name from around the time she became engaged to Manson in December 2009. Whether this is the real origin of the name, it is unclear, but since Evan is known for reframing narratives to better suit herself at the moment, it wouldn't be surprising that the real origins of the name came from the time she was in a relationship with Manson.

One thing Evan has not been asked is how the name Lenore Pink came about. Knowing Evan's obsession with the novel and movie Lolita in high school, which she carried over into her relationship with Manson, it wouldn't be far fetched to think that there is some relationship of the name with her whole Lolita persona that she cultivated before and with Manson. My thinking is that it is a mixture of her interest in both Edgar Allan Poe, who uses the literary character of Lenore in his works, and Lolita which has many references to Edgar Allan Poe, primarily because he married his first cousin, Virginia Eliza Clemm, when he was 27 and she was 13. Poe's literary Lenore is said to be inspired by Virginia, who died at the age of 24. And as for the color Pink which she uses as a surname, one reference can be how Lolita is described as wearing a pink dress in the novel. Thus the name Lenore Pink conjures an image of darkness and light mixed together.

What is even more interesting is how far Evan has gone to show how she is still obsessed with Lolita, which is odd seeing that she plays a Lolita character in a Marilyn Manson video which she now claims she was raped in. The way she more clearly shows this is in the name of the trademark she released her new EP under, which is called "One Sock Records." According to the trademark information, "LENORE PINK is a trademark owned by One Sock Records LLC, a South Pasadena based entity located in CA. The trademark was filed on 19 May 2025 with serial number (#99192589)." The significance of the "one sock" comes from an interview she did in 2009, where she talks about her obsession with Lolita as a teenager, to the point where she would walk around with one sock just like Lolita does in the novel.

From this information we can clearly see that Evan is hiding something, but hiding it in plain sight. She is clearly still obsessed with Marilyn Manson, and anyone that follows her closely knows this. The name Lenore Pink is publicly linked to her relationship with Manson, her Lolita obsession is publicly linked with Marilyn Manson. The name Lenore Pink was even written on the wall of Marilyn Manson's apartment when they were engaged.

That's all I really have to say about the new EP and her new project under the pseudonym Lenore Pink. It is not only about her releasing her music. It is about her continued obsessions with Lolita and Marilyn Manson.

Ashley Walters Case Against Marilyn Manson Revived Under New California Law, Previous Dismissal Reversed

As has been previously reported in the ongoing saga of the Ashley Walters case against Marilyn Manson, on December 16th 2025, a summary judgment was granted to Marilyn Manson which brought the case to an end through a dismissal.

Immediately after the summary judgment, Ashley Walters promised to appeal the ruling, so on January 7th 2026 she filed a Motion for Reconsideration, where she invoked the new California law known as AB 250 which went into effect after the dismissal on January 1st 2026, which gives a two-year revival window for otherwise time-barred claims of sexual assault.

On January 26th 2026, Judge Steve Cochran reversed his previous ruling to dismiss the case and granted a revival of the case to Ashley Walters based on the new law. "I do think the statute revives the claim. You’re [heading toward trial] all over again,” said the Judge according to Rolling Stone.

From the date of this ruling in favor of Walters, she now has 15 days to file an amended complaint. During these 15 days, the plaintiff may: 1) Correct deficiencies noted in the earlier dismissal, 2) Update legal claims in light of the statute that “revives the claim,” 3) Clarify facts, add allegations, or adjust causes of action as permitted by law.

According to Rolling Stone, Judge Cochran said he would allow Manson to file a new summary judgment motion to challenge the viability of Walters’ claims under AB 250. Walters’ lawyers had asked him to treat the issue as settled and move directly to trial, but the judge said the case would essentially reset to the phase just after discovery, before the summary judgment was granted in December 2025.

Walter's attorney Bina Ahmad told Deadline after the hearing:

"We are thrilled for Ms. Walters. She has never given up fighting for justice. [We] look forward to continuing the fight for Ms. Walters until Mr. Warner finally answers for his abuse. She has had to overcome a lot of obstacles, as so many survivors are forced to do. Mr. Warner has tried time and again to avoid accountability for his abuse against Ms. Walters. But now, thanks to AB 250, abusers like Mr. Warner can no longer hide behind the statute of limitations.”

Walters’ attorney Kate McFarlane issued the following statement to Billboard:

“Mr. Warner has tried time and again to avoid accountability for his abuse against Ms. Walters. But now, time is no longer an obstacle Ms. Walters will be forced to overcome. AB 250 has created a path forward for her and so many women like her to finally hold their abusers accountable. We look forward to continuing to fiercely advocate for Ms. Walters until Mr. Warner finally answers for his abuse.”

Manson's attorney's had previously argued that Walters missed her chance to invoke AB 250 prior to the dismissal before the new law went into effect, despite it having passed into law two months prior.

In a statement only partially published by the media but fully gathered by Marilyn Manson Uncanceled from partial statements in Rolling Stone, Deadline and Billboard, Manson's attorney Howard King said:

"Ashley Walters has been given the right to pursue a narrow claim of sexual assault under the newly enacted law, a claim that will not survive the next motion for summary judgment. While Ms. Walters made several now-irrelevant claims about so-called workplace harassment, she has no pending claims for sexual assault as defined in the penal code, as would be required under the new law, nor is she permitted under the ruling to add new claims. The undeniable fact is that Mr. Warner never committed any sexual assault which undoubtedly is the reason the District Attorney declined Ms. Walter’s request that Mr. Warner be criminally charged. Going forward, we will seek dismissal of the amended complaint on the grounds the allegations do not fall within the scope of the new statute.”

Rolling Stone showed this full statement to Walters' attorney Kate McFarlane, who reacted as follows:

"That’s an insane argument. It’s a desperate attempt by the defense to avoid accountability. The law is very clearly in our favor.”

Judge Cochran has set a Case Management Conference for March 27th, with a trial to follow unless there is a settlement.

Manson’s lawyer says, according to Deadline, he doubts it will get anywhere near that far.

Rose McGowan Confirms Her Friendship With Marilyn Manson and Support

On January 6th 2026, an over two hour long interview with Rose McGowan was published on the We Need To Talk show on YouTube. Among the many things she spoke about in her interview was her relationship with Marilyn Manson, though only briefly. And in a clip posted on the Instagram page for We Need To Talk, where a clip of her talking about Manson is shown, Rose decided to answer a few questions in the comments section, as you can see below:

Rose therefore confirmed that she and Marilyn Manson are still friends. And when the allegations against him were made public in February 2021 and she gave a statement supporting his accusers, she was "confused" and "getting heat to comment and condemn." She said what she said at that time because she was going through a lot at the time and didn't want to deal with "another crisis," therefore she gave into pressure. She goes on to say how she and Manson later "reconnected," and asked to read the court files in order to come to a better understanding of the allegations and the factors at work against Manson, namely the conspiracy to target and destroy him. Though she didn't want to address this further in a comment section of a video, she also confirmed that Manson apologized to her for denying in an interview many years ago that Rose had told him about her assault by Harvey Weinstein, which hurt her very much. She also confirmed his "sobriety is good." Then she says to those reading that she does not hate him even of others do, that time has healed her of the hurt she felt by his denial, and that they "exchange kind and supportive messages."

Rose McGowan has spoken previously, in 2022, how she was pressured to write and say what she did in 2021 in support of the accusers (Dita Von Teese confirmed this as her own experience in 2022 as well), and she has always spoken very positively about her relationship with Manson, not to mention that in the summer of 2024 it was noticed she refollowed Manson on Instagram and was seen having dinner with him in a restaurant in Los Angeles. However, this is the first time she has specifically addressed the allegations and expressed her support for Manson. It is evident she has a lot more to say, and hopefully one day she will say it.

Ashley Walters Seeks To Revive Her Previously Dismissed Case Against Marilyn Manson

Last we heard with the Ashley Walters case against Marilyn Manson was that on December 16th 2025 a Motion for Summary Judgment was made on behalf of Manson, which led to Judge Steve Cochran dismissing the case in Manson's favor due to the fact that he saw no path for Walters winning her case and thus put it under the statute of limitations. According to her lawyers, we were told that Walters would seek an appeal for a third time.

Despite the dismissal of the case, the case took a turn when Assembly Bill 250 went into effect on January 1, 2026. Assembly Bill 250, also known as the Justice for Survivors of Sexual Assault Act, was signed into law by Governor Newsom in October 2025. It extends statutes of limitations and increases accountability for covering up sexual assault.

Below are the Key Provisions of this new law:

Two-Year Revival Window: Survivors who were 18 or older at the time of their assault can file civil lawsuits between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2027, even if their claims expired decades ago.

Liability for Private Entities: The law allows survivors to sue both the individual perpetrator and private institutions (such as private employers, churches, hospitals, and businesses) that enabled, concealed, or failed to prevent the abuse.

Revival of Related Claims: Beyond the assault itself, survivors can revive related claims tied to the incident, including wrongful termination and sexual harassment.

"Cover-Up" Accountability: The bill specifically targets institutions that engaged in a "cover-up," defined as a concerted effort to hide evidence or silence survivors using methods like nondisclosure agreements.

The law has one important limitation that should be kept in mind:

Settled Cases: The law does not revive claims that were already litigated to a final judgment or resolved through a written settlement agreement before January 1, 2026.

Use of AB 250 for Revival (January 2026)

Following the dismissal, Walters filed a motion on January 8, 2026, citing the newly effective AB 250 as grounds to reopen her case.

The Argument: Walters’ legal team contends that because a final judgment had not yet been formally entered by January 1, 2026, her case was technically "pending" and thus qualifies for the law's two-year revival window for otherwise time-barred claims.

Targeting Individual Perpetrators: Unlike previous lookback laws (like AB 2777), AB 250 allows survivors to sue individual perpetrators without the need to prove an institutional "cover-up". This is critical for Walters, as her primary target is Manson himself.

Current Legal Status

Plaintiff Stance: Ashley Walters believes that because the judgment for dismissal has not been finalized, she should be able to qualify to have her case revived under the new law AB 250. She argues that if this new law was around when the judgment to dismiss was given, it would not have been granted. This is because the new law doesn't take into account the statute of limitations which caused her dismissal, and the definition of "cover up" takes into account nondisclosure or confidentiality agreements. She continues to argue that she suffered from repressed memories due to Manson's abuse, and that he threatened her and traumatized her and used an NDA to keep her silent. And because her attempt at an appeal would be argued on the basis of the new law, she is now asking the court to reopen the case with a Motion for Reconsideration, so as not to expend additional unnecessary resources.

Defense Stance: Marilyn Manson believes the arguments of the plaintiff to reopen the case based on the new law are "meritless," arguing that the new statute is "inapplicable" to a case that has already been dismissed twice by the court. He says it is "transparently designed to evade statutory deadlines and the consequences" of the court ordered Motion for Summary Judgment. This judgment for dismissal was granted nearly a month ago, and "California Code of Civil Procedure section 1008(a) strictly requires that a motion for reconsideration be filed within ten (10) days after entry of the order." She also never brought up the new law before the judgment to have the case dismissed took place, even though the new bill was signed into law by the governor two months prior to the dismissal. Plaintiff is thus creating an emergency through delay, which is designed to put the defendant at a disadvantage.

Hearing Granted: Judge Cochran has granted a request to set a hearing specifically on whether AB 250 applies to this case. This will take place on January 26th 2026.

If the judge accepts the AB 250 argument, Walters' case — which has been dismissed and revived multiple times since 2021 — would proceed to trial. If rejected, Walters' lawyers have indicated they will appeal the decision once more.

Plaintiff Attorney Statement to Rolling Stone: “This law did not become effective until January 1, 2026 and could not have been raised prior to its effective date. This is a ridiculous argument, and just another tactic by Mr. Warner to skirt accountability. Ms. Walters has waited far too long to hold her abuser accountable, and outdated statute of limitations arguments will no longer protect him. We are grateful that the judge granted our request today to set a hearing on this issue. We are optimistic that her case will go forward and she will get the justice she rightfully deserves.”

Defense Attorney Statement to Rolling Stone: “Ashley Walters’ meritless claim has now been dismissed twice. We are confident that her motion to reconsider the most recent dismissal based on a new and inapplicable statute will fail. The allegations of [Warner] trying to kiss her and trying to force her hands down his pants, which we absolutely deny, would not rise to the level of type of sexual assault that is covered by AB 250. If this returns, there will be another summary judgment motion. And we believe we will be successful in dismissing her complaint for a third time."

Marilyn Manson Celebrates His 57th Birthday

January 5th 2025 marks Marilyn Manson's 57th birthday and the anniversary of his five years of sobriety. To celebrate, as he does every year, he and his wife Lindsay hosted a birthday party where he was surrounded by friends and loved ones.

Among the attendees who joined him to celebrate were Billy Corgan, Courtney Love, John 5, Danny Elfman, Vincent Gallo, Billy Morrison, Tim Skold, Greg Puciato, Charles Fleischer, Paul Wiley, Manson‘s ex-wife Dita Von Teese, death pop duo VOWWS, and many more.

In his birthday speech before blowing out 57 candles on his birthday cake, which was topped by an illustration of Gustave Doré for John Milton's Paradise Lost titled "The Fall of Lucifer," Manson said the following:

"Thanks everybody for coming. I love you guys. It's been a great year. 2026 is gonna be even better. I've got another album coming out, another world tour that's gonna be extra special, and five years continuous sobriety."

Tyler Bates Has Announced His Departure From Marilyn Manson

Tyler Bates, who has co-written and produced four albums for Marilyn Manson and toured with him on and off since 2015, announced his departure from the band today, January 5th 2025, in a post on Instagram.

In 2015 and 2018 he made similar announcements, and joined Marilyn Manson once again to help revive his career after a number of setbacks by working with him on the album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 (2024) and the upcoming One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 (2026), as well as touring with the band for 100 shows all around the world in 2024 and 2025. He wrote:

In the comments section, fellow bandmates Gil Sharone and Reba Meyers wished Tyler well and affirmed they were both staying with the band.

No announcement has yet been made about a possible replacement.

In summary, the highlights of 2025 for Marilyn Manson were the LADA dropping the charges against him after a four year criminal investigation, his highly successful headlining tour along with the completion of 101 total shows touring with his current lineup since 2024, the release of his new cover of Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight", the release of the wildly popular hit "God is a Weapon" with Falling in Reverse as a song and video, his appearance at Ozzy Osbourne's farewell concert and subsequent funeral, his historic concert in front of 205,000 people in San Luis Potosi, his return to his hometown with his wife Lindsay in Ohio, and the dismissal of his former assistant Ashley Walters' case against him.

Of course, no year would be complete without a good Marilyn Manson controversy, and there were plenty of those in 2025 as well. Among the controversies were Manson's collaboration with the highly controversial Ronnie Radke, the failed attempt to have his concerts canceled in Mexico, Switzerland and Great Britain, the success of protestors having his concert in Brighton in the U.K. canceled, the fake news story of him getting a negative reaction from the crowd at Ozzy's farewell concert, Chloë Sevigny removing her photo with Manson on Instagram following backlash, the backlash received by Norman Reedus just for mentioning he went to see a Manson show in Madrid, and Seth Green talking about Manson punching Andy Dick many years ago on Bill Maher's podcast.

Unfortunately due to my busy schedule, especially in the month leading to my week long vacation in Spain in early October and ever since, I have not covered those stories, and there were quite a few. My goal is to rectify this and post about some of the news stories I missed, especially since October 2025, in the coming week or two. I also have much to post about other things I wanted to get to. This is my immediate goal for 2026.

As for Marilyn Manson, there is much to look forward to in the coming year. For example, as I will post more about another time, Manson has already announced that his next album, chapter 2 of the previous 2024 album, will be released soon. New tour dates for 2026 have also begun to be scheduled. As for lawsuits, currently there is only one active case, which should be resolved in one way or another in 2026. I see nothing but Manson continuing his career upward projection that began in 2024 with his so-called comeback, and which continued in 2025. I look forward with great anticipation to see what 2026 has in store for him.

A Deep Dive Into the Second Court Dismissal of the Case of Ashley Walters Against Her Former Employer Marilyn Manson

On December 16th 2025, it was announced that the case of Ashley Walters (ex-assistant) brought against her former employer Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner) through her second amended complaint on March 11th 2022, has been dismissed without prejudice. This is because on September 19th 2025, Marilyn Manson and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. filed a Motion for Summary Judgment, and this Motion was granted on December 16th. Hence the jury trial which was scheduled for the 26th of January will no longer take place.

According to court documents, the Motion for Summary Judgment was granted for three reasons:

1. “There is no triable issue of material fact.”

The court is saying:

Even if we look at the evidence most favorably to the plaintiff, there is nothing a jury needs to decide because the key facts are either undisputed or legally irrelevant.

Meaning: The dispute is purely legal, not factual — and the law favors the defendants.

2. “Plaintiff’s claims are time barred.”

The court is saying:

The lawsuit was filed too late. Every type of claim has a statute of limitations, a legal deadline by which a lawsuit must be brought.

Meaning: Even if the plaintiff’s allegations were true, the law no longer allows them to be litigated because too much time has passed.

3. “The Court finds Plaintiff’s equitable estoppel is without merit.”

This is an important legal point.

Equitable estoppel is a doctrine that can pause or extend the statute of limitations if:

- The defendant misled the plaintiff, or

- The defendant’s conduct prevented the plaintiff from filing the lawsuit on time.

The court is saying:

The plaintiff argued that the deadline should be excused or extended — but that argument fails.

Meaning: The judge found no valid evidence that the defendants did anything that legally prevented the plaintiff from filing earlier.

"Motion for Summary Judgment" is a party's request for a court to rule in their favor on all or part of a case before trial, arguing there are no genuine disputes over key facts (material facts) and that the law clearly favors them, making a trial unnecessary.

"Dismissed without prejudice" means a court case is stopped, but the party who filed it can refile the same claim later, as the dismissal isn't a final decision on the case's merits, often allowing plaintiffs to fix issues like missing evidence or filing errors before trying again within the statute of limitations. It's a temporary pause, unlike a dismissal with prejudice, which permanently bars refiling.

WHAT ROLLING STONE SAYS ABOUT THE DECEMBER 16TH HEARING

A reporter from Rolling Stone, a publication which has taken a clear stance against Marilyn Manson and in favor of his accusers (with a hit-piece "investigation" and a hit-piece documentary), was at the hearing on December 16th, and this is what they reported:

According to Rolling Stone, Los Angeles County Judge Steve Cochran said at the December 16th hearing: “We have a situation where the complaint was not filed until about 10 years after the operative events. I’m not able to find that the delayed-discovery rule is applicable. I don’t have the authority to rule that the delayed discovery doctrine would apply under the circumstances that exist in this case.”

Kate McFarlane, a lawyer for Walters, told Rolling Stone after the hearing that they would explore an appeal. “We’re disappointed. We think this is the wrong decision. The delayed-discovery rule is specifically to address situations where victims of sexual abuse deserve the ability to seek justice when their abuser has used tactics to prevent them from coming forward. This is something we see time and time again, and it seems the law hasn’t caught up to the science and what’s right for victims. But I don’t believe this is the end of the road.”

Manson's lawyer, Howard King, said after winning the motion: “It’s gratifying, after all these years, that a judge can just look at the facts and see that once again, Brian Warner was wrongfully
accused. It’s nice for him to get some justice, though it was at great personal cost. Now he can move on.”

According to Rolling Stone, during the hearing, McFarlane argued that Walters deserved revival of her claims because she allegedly was manipulated by Warner in a way that mirrored child sexual abuse. She urged the court to look at cases where children suffered from repressed memories before seeking justice as adults.

“We have a young woman who was in her twenties, and her employer was in his forties. There’s an innate power dynamic,” she argued. “He’s a very well-known, high-powered celebrity with a lot of pull in the industry, a lot of clout. This was a young woman barely into her adult years being manipulated by someone with a lot of power.”

It seems like the spin Rolling Stone is trying to show is that the case ended merely because of the statute of limitations, which is an oversimplification and not true based on the previously mentioned information.

BRIEF HISTORY OF ASHLEY WALTERS VERSUS MARILYN MANSON

Ashley Walters filed the lawsuit against her former employer Marilyn Manson, to whom she was a personal assistant in 2010-2011, in May 2021, detailing claims of (1) sexual discrimination, (2) sexual harassment, (3) sexual assault, (4) violation of the Bane Act, (5) sexual battery, (6) intentional infliction of emotional distress, (7) battery, and (8) assault. A year later, on May 2022, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge dismissed Walters' suit without prejudice citing the grounds of the statute of limitations.

After the first dismissal, Walters filed an amended suit against Manson in 2022 citing repressed memories of sexual abuse and battery and added that later threats of violence wrought a sense of fear within her to come forward sooner. In 2023, a tribunal with California's Second Appellate District granted Walters an appeal that sent the case back to the judge for trial. The decision noted, "Walters' allegations of delayed discovery were sufficient to withstand demurrer and we reverse."

It should be noted that the appeal was granted to Walters on the condition that she could prove the validity of her repressed memories being recovered in 2020, which would be a monumental feat, since no one has ever been able to do that before, at least not in a California court.

WHAT LED TO THE COURT HEARING ON DECEMBER 16TH?

After Marilyn Manson filed a Motion for Summary Judgment on September 19th 2025, it was determined that a hearing for this matter would take place on December 16th.

Plaintiff Ashley Walters sought to delay this Motion on November 20th, citing that she needed time "to proffer expert testimony, take additional depositions and complete discovery." She noted that the deadline to complete discovery was not until December 26, 2025, and that the hearing for the Motion should be when this deadline is over. She also noted that it would cause "irreparable harm" to her if her opposition was denied.

Defendant Marilyn Manson replied that from the time he filed on September 19th until she sought to delay the hearing on November 20th, two months had passed and she did not have even one deposition done, there was no meaningful discovery done, and she made no effort whatsoever to obtain the “essential facts” she now claims to lack. Therefore, the reason this information was missing was because she had not sought it. According to California law, in order for her request to be fulfilled, she has to be in the process of making a diligent effort to obtain the information she needed, but because there was no diligent effort made on her part whatsoever, her request to delay should be denied. It should also be noted that in April 2025, the court granted Walters a six-month trial continuance which would allow her to seek all the depositions and discovery she needs, and at that time the court ruled that that no further continuances would be granted. As the defendant writes: "Despite this clear directive and the ample time provided, plaintiff has conducted no discovery since the continuance was granted. Instead, she has waited until the eve of her opposition deadline to file this last-minute ex parte request."

According to the defendant, "On March 14, 2025, plaintiff completed the deposition of Mr. Warner. Since Mr. Warner’s deposition, plaintiff has not noticed any depositions or subpoenaed any witnesses for deposition." On the other hand, the defendant had a number of depositions done, and even had a mental examination of the plaintiff by the defendants’ expert witness, Julie M. Brovko, Ph.D. The mental examination was completed on May 29, 2025 (we have not been given the results of this mental examination).

Seeing that Ashley Walters was unable to give a valid reason for the delay, the court denied her Ex Parte Application on November 21st. This means that the hearing for the Motion for Summary Judgment would take place on December 16th.

THE DECLARATION OF ASHLEY WALTERS FOR THE DECEMBER 16TH HEARING

Ashley Walters filed her declaration for the Motion for Summary Judgment hearing on November 25th. Below is a summary:

Ashley Walters met Brian Warner in 2010 and worked for him until 2011, during which she experienced a pattern of sexual, physical, and psychological abuse.

She explains that Walters began therapy to process and cope with trauma, including working through suppressed memories related to alleged abuse by Brian Warner during Walters’s employment with him in 2010–2011.

DECLARATION OF KATE MCFARLANE

In this declaration, Kate McFarlane, the attorney for the plaintiff, submits excerpts from the depositions of Ashley Walters (taken March 12, 2025), her friend Alexandra Alvarez Denisoff (taken September 30, 2025), and her friend Esme Bianco (taken September 4, 2025).

The Deposition of Ashley Walters

The original videotaped deposition is 253 pages in volume one. Below is information from excerpts of the deposition.

When asked if her memories were still fragmented as a result of the trauma she believes she underwent, she replied: "Some, yes." She also indicated that she had still not fully recovered her memories.

She says she gets therapy from Mallory Herp, who is not a psychologist but a social worker, once a week. She helps her recover her memories by talking through them.

Walters claims that in an email she told her friend and roommate at the time, Sasha (Alexandra Alvarez Denisoff), that Manson was throwing things and chasing her with a hatchet.

[Having read the email in question, dated May 4th 2011, Walters never tells Sasha or even suggests to her that Manson was chasing her with a hatchet, but that Manson "threw an axe in the wall." Further on in the deposition, when questioned if she ever told Manson's manager Tony C. about the incident, she replied she didn't know if she told him because she has absolutely no recollection of the incident, and no one she knows has substantiated her claim. If she has no recollection of the incident, that means the only way she knows about the incident is from the email she cited, but the email never substantiates her claim that Manson threw things at her, including a hatchet or an axe. Then when asked if Manson threw anything at her, she says that she doesn't recall him throwing anything at her, but that he just threw thing in general. The only thing she claims she remembers is that Manson threw food at her.]

Walters recounts her sexual assault from either 2004 or 2005 when she was 20 years old by a co-worker from out of town who she was showing around and brought back to her apartment. Later she will say that she had told Manson of this incident.

Walters then recounts what she calls her sexual battery by Manson, the first time they met. They were alone in his apartment, he took some photos of her in her bra and pants in his bedroom, and when they were done he threw her down onto the bed and put one of her hands down his pants in order to have her feel his sexual arousal and what described as his "pre-cum", while he was nibbling on her ear and trying to kiss her neck. She claims this incident is sexual battery because she did not consent to have her hand put down his pants. She then immediately rolled off the bed and made light of the situation. When asked if she told him to stop or said "no" to him, she said she did not say anything, but it was enough that he did not ask for permission first before putting her hand there to make it non-consensual. She then says that she had to stay the night because she parked in the wrong parking lot and her car was locked in.

[It should be noted that this incident is listed in her complaint as one which she remembered as a recovered memory, but in her deposition she seems to deny this. It is unclear from this excerpt if there is a contradiction. What is clear is that if this story is true as she recalls it, then Manson could have misjudged the situation, and upon seeing her uncomfortable, he immediately withdrew and never did anything like that again. Moreover, in the deposition she says that at the time she was okay with what happened and did not consider anything wrong with it; in fact she considered it normal though was uncomfortable with it.]

At one point in the deposition she says she had sex with bandmember Jeordie White once, but the excerpt cuts off and it doesn't get into the details. Later on she says Jeordie groped her more than once, but never assaulted her.

A month after what she calls the sexual battery incident, she posed nude to have her pictures taken by Manson. She did not consider Manson a threat to her, despite the incident she describes a month prior.

There is a text exchange with no date given between Walters and Esme Bianco where Bianco tells Walters that Manson indicated in a text to her that something happened between himself and Walters, to which Walters replied: "Whoa, that's craziness. The only time he ever tried to get fresh with me was the night we first met. But I didn't let anything happen, and you already knew about the pre-cum night anyway. I have never even kissed Manson."

Walters claims to have been sexually assaulted multiple times in 2010 and 2011 by other men. She says that she remembers some and repressed her memories of others. None of these were ever reported to the police or to Manson's manager Tony C., but she says she did tell Manson once or twice.

She claims actor Naveen Andrews was playing with himself under the covers when they were both doing a photoshoot in a bed. [Apparently this is a repressed memory which bandmember Fred Sablan reminded her about.] Another time when Naveen was very drunk he forcefully licked and kissed her outside a bathroom. Another time, after these incidents, she had voluntary sex with him three times, but she says she was fawning (what is described as "mercy sex"). Walters admits that she did not consider anything with Naveen Andrews to be sexual assault until after she started going to therapy in 2020.

She names actor Ian Somerholden as the actor who kept her in his lap and kissed her at the 2010 Spike TV Scream Awards.

An unnamed actor from the show "Lost" tried to have sex with her, but when she rejected him he was surprised.

She accuses director Eli Roth of groping her, inappropriately touching her and exposing himself to her.

Walters says that Japanese musician Yoshiki bit her nipple and offered to pay her more than Manson did to work for him.

She lists the following incidents which she did not have a memory of until they were recovered in therapy in 2020: 1) The bathroom incident with Naveen, 2) The unknown "Lost" actor who tried to have sex with her, 3) Some of the incidents with Eli Roth she was not comfortable with. She also says that she never considered any incident as a sexual assault until 2020.

She says the incident where she claims Manson whipped her with a riding crop was repressed in her memory and later recovered in 2020. It was done in front of other people and Manson was joking around. She also laughed about it at the time, though she was uncomfortable.

Though she repressed the memory, in 2020 she recovered a memory of Manson throwing a piece of sushi at her around July 2011.

Another memory she repressed but later recovered in 2020 was Manson throwing plates against the wall, and she joined in and broke one plate on the floor.

She repressed a memory of an incident where she was told by Manson to not let Jeordie White inside the apartment (no reason given for this except her stating it was the dynamic of their relationship), but he forced his way in (because he had a key) and she tried to stop him, and was unable to, so Manson started a tussle with Jeordie and in the process Manson threw Walters against the wall.

Walters recalls watching Manson's short film "Groupie", and at the time didn't know if it depicted something real or if it was an art piece. She remembers it caused her anxiety and it was disturbing. In the time she was employed by Manson, he showed it a couple of more times, though does not indicate the context.

In her complaint, Walters had mentioned that Manson offered her up to her industry friends. In this deposition she explains that she had no recollection of it, but it was something Evan Rachel Wood and Fred Sablan told her about in their Survivor's Meeting in September 2020. She says that Evan told her she overheard Manson offer her up to Eli Roth, while Fred Sablan told her that he overheard Manson offer her up to Naveen.

On Thanksgiving of 2010 she celebrated with Manson, Ashley Smithline, and two of Manson's friends. Manson was in a bad mood that day, she says, and she locked herself in his bedroom. In a fit of anger, he broke down the locked back door to his bedroom, but calmed down when he noticed she was on the phone with her mother. However, she had no memory of this incident, and only knew that it was a horrible Thanksgiving that year. The memory was recovered in 2020. [Though I only have excerpts of this deposition, I do wonder why Manson's lawyer didn't ask her if she ever noticed the broken door on a future date or as his assistant if she ever went through the process of getting someone to fix it. She never offers any substantiation to her claims.]

Interestingly, Walters claims that some of the incidents she repressed were repressed while she was still employed by Manson, but others she repressed after her employment came to an end. She claims the memories were repressed as a survival mechanism, even after the employment came to an end. She cites the fact that after her employment with Manson she began having panic attacks for the first time in her life. She had "countless" panic attacks after her employment under Manson, and she associated them with past trauma. [It should be noted that it is very common for young adults to develope panic attacks, especially if they snort cocaine like Walters did and do not get enough sleep. Too much caffeine could trigger a panic attack.]

She says Manson forced her to stay awake for about 48 hours straight on at least three different occasions. He would force her to do cocaine. Once he made her stand on a chair for twelve hours for artistic photos and encouraged her to continue by forcing her to partake of cocaine.

She accuses Manson of forcing her and Chloe Black to dance and sing karaoke when he and Chloe got into a fight.

The incident where she says Manson told her to go the roof of his apartment and cut the telephone wires because he thought neighbors were tapping his phone was a recovered memory from 2020.

Later in the deposition, Walters interestingly clarifies that Manson didn't actually chase her around with a hatchet. She says: "I think it was just brandished and waving around. I'm not saying I was, like, running down and screaming in the hall while he chased me down. I think that was Esme that had that. But there was just wielding around." This clarification came after recalling a separate incident when Esme told her one day Manson chased her with a hatchet and she had a panic attack. [This makes you wonder if her recovered memory was in fact something Esme told her about herself, which she mixed in with her own incident described in her email to Sasha.]

At one point she contradicts Esme Bianco's claim about being spanked at her birthday party. Bianco viewed the birthday spanking as an act of abuse, while Walters considered it as being done in fun and was done in front of a group. [I have seen the video of the birthday spanking, and it was clearly done in fun and in front of a group.]

She recalls an incident of a time when Manson became impatient with her so he charged at her, but Fred Sablan pushed her out of the way. This incident was repressed and apparently was told to her by Fred.

She is questioned why after being fired she tried to get her job back a week later, even though she claims it was such a bad experience. And even when she did return, a few months later she did not quit, but was again fired by Manson. We are never told why Manson fired her the second time, but the first time was after she secretly took Manson's vehicle for a drive with Esme Bianco while they were drunk, and not only did she total the car in an accident but she received a DUI for it.]

The Deposition of Alexandra Alvarez Denisoff

The original videotaped deposition is 119 pages. Below is information from excerpts of the deposition.

Alexandra, whom Walters calls Sasha, was Walters' roommate during the time of her employment with Manson.

She says she went to Manson's apartment around 18 times.

She recalls being told about Manson throwing things and having Walters do cocaine, and expressed her concern cause it was not a normal work environment, but she says Walters' reaction was "detached," as if it was normal. She never told Walters to quit her job or to report any incident.

She never saw Manson being violent.

She says she was never told about the incident on Thanksgiving in 2010 until 2020 when Walters recovered the memory.

She sort of confirms the story of Manson meeting Walters the first time. Walters told her about it the next day. However, she recalled the incident as Manson kissing her and putting his hand down her underwear, which Walters never mentions. Alexandra also says that she recalls Walters telling her about another time Manson tried to have sex with her, but Walters had denied any other incident during her deposition.

She also recalls Walters telling her in 2011 how Manson told Yoshiki in Japan that they should switch personal assistants to have sex with them.

She also recalls Walters telling her about Esme getting chased with a hatchet.

The Deposition of Esme Bianco

The original videotaped deposition is 140 pages. Below is information from excerpts of the deposition.

Only a few pages from this deposition have been released, and doesn't provide really any new information, except that Esme downplays any involvement of Ashley Walters in the Phoenix Act.

One significant issue is brought up relating to Esme Bianco herself. Manson's lawyer asks Esme the following: "Does this exchange between you and Brian reflect you wanting to get out of London because your husband had physically assaulted you?" Her reply is "No, Brian had asked me to go to L.A. to live with him." [We are not given the exchange referred to, but from text messages I have read between Esme and Manson, it does sound like she described being in an abusive marriage, which it appears began when her husband found out about her secret relationship with Manson, and when she left London to be with Manson in Los Angeles, she was not even divorced yet. Her divorce from her husband didn't take place until the summer of 2011, when her relationship with Manson ended.]

CONCLUSION

As stated earlier, this case was dismissed not simply because of a statute of limitations, but because Manson was granted a Motion for Summary Judgment. Legally, Walters had no case against Manson that had a shot of her winning in a trial before a jury. As we see in her deposition, Walters clearly had emotional responses to incidents described in 2010 and 2011, and admitted that she recalled some things and repressed others, and that most of what she repressed was repressed after her employment to Manson came to an end. Some memories had to be fed to her by others, and even when she was told about them she still could not recollect them. At the December 16th hearing her lawyer basically explained that such memory fragmentation is common in young children who suffered sexual abuse, and that because of the power dynamic between Manson and Walters, with him being a powerful celebrity nearly twice her age, it was as if she was a child being abused by an adult and we are told that this is how this case needs to be looked at. Because the court rejected these explanations to keep the trial going legally, Walters' lawyers accuse the court and the law of not being aligned with the science. This is despite the fact that the whole concept of repressed and recovered memories is scientifically controversial and heavily disputed, and critics would argue that there is no scientific evidence to back up such claims.

Walters had an uphill battle with this case. If she had won it, it would have been groundbreaking, because she would have taken something almost impossible to prove and gave it precedent in a court of law. As the case was unraveling however, especially after her deposition, it was determined that Walters had a very weak case to work with, to the point where much of it can be disputed as being in the realm of reality. A settlement wasn't even offered to her. Manson clearly knew there was nothing to this case, so he filed to have it dismissed, and the court granted him his request. If she could have proven the validity of her recovered memories after 2020, or even made an effort to prove them and showed the court she was in the process of gathering her evidence, the statute of limitations would likely have not have been a factor in this case.

If there is an appeal to this dismissal, then Walters needs to come up with a better way to show any validity to her recovered memories.

Evan Rachel Wood and Jaime Bell Have New Custody Arrangement

Last we heard of the custody arrangement between Evan Rachel Wood and Jaime Bell was in May 2023. Then it was reported that according to court documents, Evan Rachel Wood lost primary custody of her son Jack to her ex-husband Jaime Bell, who wanted "the Court to know that Evan's recent behavior with Jack is truly alarming." Among the "truly alarming" things cited by Jaime was that she was "feeding" their son false information about Marilyn Manson, which caused him to have crippling anxiety and fear. Evan, who lived in Tennessee at the time and still does, had been allegedly keeping the boy away from Los Angeles, where Jaime lived, because, she claimed (based on a forged FBI letter written by Evan and Illma Gore), she was a key witness in an investigation into abuse by Manson, who she believed was a threat to her and her son. She had also claimed that in 2014 Manson threatened her that he would "fuck" her infant son. Manson has denied all these claims as fabrications. Evan tried to switch the narrative in May 2023 by saying she voluntarily gave up custody for her son's protection, but this would make no sense since Jack's primary place of residence would be in the same city, Los Angeles, she was supposedly trying to keep him away from while she was supposedly safe in another state. Furthermore, Evan's narrative doesn't make sense because it was decided at the time that Jaime Bell had primary custody of their son and Evan Rachel Wood would have custody one weekend a month and on certain holidays, which would thus allow Jack to be put in danger by being with her during those times. If he was truly in danger, Jack should never have been allowed to be with Evan.

Now, according to an exclusive report by US Weekly published October 17th 2025, Evan and Jaime have worked out a new "unique custody deal." It appears that this unique new arrangement was drawn up privately between Evan and Jaime, and the court docs for it were filed by Evan on September 9th. It specifically covers the 2025/2026 school year of their now 13 year old son. According to Evan, Jaime made the decision to change the custody deal after he decided to move from Los Angeles to New York. Per the new arrangement, Evan and Jaime will have joint custody of their son, and will alternate months; Jack will spend a month in Tennessee, followed by a month in New York. Jaime is now also allowed to see Jack in Tennessee if he chooses. They also worked out who gets Jack on holidays and summer vacation, and agreed to split the cost of Jack’s traveling back and forth. Each parent can decide who will travel with their son on the flights. And they will get to decide what activities their son does when he is with them, per the filing. In addition, they are allowed two calls with Jack per week when he is with the other parent. There will be no child support from either parent, as we read in the deal: “The parties acknowledge and agree that at this time they are entering into this [judgment], each party has sufficient assets and income to support Jack according to his reasonable needs while Jack is in” their custody.

What we can conclude from this information is that Evan was lying in May 2023 when she tried to spin the narrative of her losing primary custody for her alarming behavior. At that time she played the victim and made it look like she was sacrificing her right to primary custody for the safety of her son. But if this was true, why has she all of a sudden changed her mind and why hasn't she appealed to the court to resume her primary custody that she supposedly voluntarily sacrificed for the safety of her son? And why did she need Jaime's permission to make the new arrangement if he didn't in fact win the previous custody case in 2023 rather than her just basically handing over custody, like she tried to make it sound? Is her son, according to Evan, still in danger from Marilyn Manson or not? Have things changed now that Manson has dropped his lawsuit against Evan and the LADA investigation produced no criminal charges against him? Does she believe Manson was only a threat against her and her son for a specific time period? None of this makes sense if her 2023 narrative were true. But we know it wasn't true and we know her supposed fears of Marilyn Manson were an excuse to cover up her lies and forgery and to get what she wanted by playing the victim.

As for the custody itself, it honestly sounds like a horrible arrangement for Jack, though it seems it is only a one year arrangement for now. The poor kid has to not only alternate parents each month, but he has to alternate between New York and Tennessee every month. We have no information on his schooling, but I assume he will have to be home schooled in some way. To me it all wreaks of Evan's selfishness, but if both parents agreed to it, then so be it. And though we don't know for sure what Evan is up to as far as her career, Jaime Bell and Kate Mara are very popular actors who work a lot. Jaime just signed on to film "The Uprising", and Kate had three of her movies released in 2025, two of which she filmed in New York and one in Ireland. According to Kate, when filming she had her two kids with her while Jaime was back in Los Angeles with Jack. The assumption from this is that it appears Kate has more future work in her native New York, which is why she and Jaime decided to move there instead of being separated for long periods. But while everyone else will from now on be more settled and together, it is Jack who will have no real stability.

Seth Green Recounts the Time Marilyn Manson Punched Andy Dick in the Throat

During a September 29, 2025 interview on Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, actor Seth Green recounted witnessing Marilyn Manson punch comedian Andy Dick in the throat during a night out in New York City around 2003.

The Encounter

Around the time they were filming the movie Party Monster, Green, along with Macaulay Culkin and Marilyn Manson, were on their way to a club when they encountered Andy Dick.

The Provocation

When Dick joined the group, he tried to get the attention of both Culkin and Manson. He first interacted with Culkin, who pushed him away.

The Punch

Dick then turned his attention to Manson. At that point, Manson allegedly made "meaningful eye contact" with Green before striking Dick in the throat, causing Dick to fall back into the coach clutching his throat.

Manson's Reaction

According to Green, Manson was known for being "quick to punch people" if they got too close, and he wasn't particularly surprised by the outburst, though found it humorous.

Is Seth Green's Story Reliable?

If the story is true, I think it's a pretty funny story. I can see why Andy Dick would be so annoying to Macaulay Culkin that he would push him away and then Marilyn Manson would punch him in the throat. Many would say that Andy Dick deserves a lot worse. Andy Dick has a very long list of public misconduct incidents where he has provoked people, been very inappropriate and gotten into physical altercations, and his erratic behavior and drug problems have been the source of many problems for him. However, the way Seth Green recounts this story makes me believe that he is not a reliable witness to the incident he describes. Here are a few reasons why:

1. Green says the incident took place in New York in 2003 around the time they were filming Party Monster, but filming for Party Monster is reported as taking place around April 2002. The premier at Sundance was in January 2003. The New York premier of the film was on September 3, 2003, but there is no evidence Manson was in attendance, which would make sense since he was touring around this time.

2. Based on the above information, we can say Seth Green made a mistake in recounting which year this incident took place, and that it probably happened in 2002. However, he then says that the three of them encountered Andy Dick outside the club, and Andy Dick was mourning over the fact that Rick James had just died. But Rick James died on August 6th 2004. Why would Seth Green, Macaulay Culkin and Marilyn Manson be in New York together almost a year after the release of Party Monster? It should be noted also that on January 13, 2002 Marilyn Manson and Andy Dick filmed an episode of Dinner For Five together, and in the beginning when a guest doesn't appear Andy suggests they call Rick James to appear with them on the show.

3. Seth Green tells Bill Maher the story while he is smoking marijuana, trying to recount an incident at a bar where he was probably drunk and high as well. Any story that takes place in a bar where the person recounting the story was probably at least drinking is unreliable in itself, and Green does say he was drinking tequila. And we should also mention the fact that in this Bill Maher interview Seth Green talks throughout with what sounds like a Christpher Walken accent, which I don't recall hearing from him before, and is quite odd.

4. Green says that Manson sat next to Macaulay Culkin on the couch opposite him, but Andy Dick squeezed himself in between the two while Manson made "meaningful eye contact" with Green. I'm not sure what "meaningful eye contact" means, but at this point he gets into details like saying he was drinking tequila, he pulled his hat down over his eyes, and just concentrated on the music while dancing in his seat. Then he says he saw the incident of Andy being pushed and punched, but he had no idea why it happened. Basically, the whole description of events makes it sound like Seth was there as an observer only, and was not part of the group. If he was part of the group, you would figure he would have found out at some point that night why Manson punched him in the throat and what Andy did to provoke him, but apparently he just observed the incident and never brought it up until over 20 years later on a podcast.

5. It is also odd that Green doesn't describe whether Manson punched Andy out of anger, frustration, by mistake or maybe it was just horseplay. He leaves the listener to fill in the blank, and this is probably because he really didn't know. Moreover, we are not told anything about the aftermath. When Andy recovered from the supposed punch, what did he do or say? Was Andy angry or did he laugh? Green only says that Andy was a provocative guy who said inflammatory shit, so we are supposed to assume that's why Manson punched him, but he also says he doesn't know what provoked the punch except that he saw Andy get really close to Manson's ear and said something.

6. When Maher presses Green a bit to try to find out the reason why Manson punched Andy, Green's only response was to say that Manson is known for punching people that get too close to him. You would figure he would give another example to prove his accusation is true, but he doesn't. We are just supposed to take his word for it. However, no one has ever accused Manson of punching them because they got close to him, as far as I recall. In fact, there are no stories as far as I know of Manson ever getting into a physical altercation with someone. Even in the very few reports where people tried to get into physical altercations with him, he is still never reported as trying to punch back. Therefore, we can conclude this accusation is without any foundation.

7. Lastly, Andy Dick has never told this story, nor has Manson, and neither have confirmed nor denied Seth Green's story publicly. Despite this lack of confirmation where we can get a more accurate narration of the incident, in a recent video where Andy Dick was interviewed in a year ago in October 2024, he talks about when he first met Manson, and the first thing he says about Manson was "he's a great guy." So whether or not this supposed story is true, and I highly doubt it is, at least the way Seth Green recounts it, Andy Dick has no ill will against Manson.

I must say, Seth's story sort of reminds me of the episode on Enterouge when his character provokes a fight in a bar and he gets punched, while Rob Zombie is playing in the background, which can be seen here.

But if you really want to see what Marilyn Manson and Andy Dick were like together, watch Andy's interview with Conan O'Brien from April 25, 2001, where he talks about first meeting Manson (here); then watch the infamous episode of Dinner For Five filmed in January 2002 (here, 10th and 11th video). In the latter, Andy Dick even recalls the time Manson showed him his notorious film Groupie.

And Andy Dick even used a painting Manson made of him as the cover for his 2002 album Andy Dick and the Bitches of the Century.

With that being said, it is once again very odd that the last two media stories about Manson are connected with people who appeared with him in the movie Party Monster, the last story being Chloë Sevigny's apology for being recently photographed with Manson.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review published an interview with Pittsburgh native Reba Meyers on September 17th 2025, ahead of Marilyn Manson's show in The Steel City on September 20th.

In this interview Reba dives deeper than ever before about what its like being not only the newest but also the youngest current member of Marilyn Manson.

She even talks about the Manson controversies that have been the focus of people's attention for the past five years, but instead of focusing on the controversies, she says the actual story is much more interesting and deserves to be more noticed:

"The actual story of what’s happening is more interesting than the controversy by far. We have a lot more to teach people about with that. It’s like the real story is not even being noticed by most people, which is sad."

For Reba, the actual story is a story of redemption:

"But for me it’s about redemption, and I’ve seen that with the crowd, and the more important part to me is how people are receiving it, and I can see that it’s empowering people to be better, which that’s incredible. It’s rare."

Marilyn Manson Returns To His Hometown in Canton, Ohio

After a series of amazing festival shows in the month of August that brought Marilyn Manson to places like Mexico, Turkey and Kazakhstan, with enthusiastic and record-breaking crowds, the band finally resumed their One Assassination Under God Tour at the sold-out House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday September 16, 2025. This Fall North American tour will continue until October 5th in Sacramento, California.

The significance of Marilyn Manson kicking off this leg of the tour in Cleveland, Ohio is that this marks a return of Marilyn Manson to his native area, having been born and raised in nearby Canton, Ohio. Manson hasn’t performed in Cleveland since a 2018 show at Blossom Music Center during his “Twins of Evil: The Second Coming” co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie. Notable also is that Cleveland is the birthplace of Rock and Roll.

The difference between 2018 and 2025 is that now Marilyn Manson is married and decided on September 15th, ahead of his September 16th concert, to show his bride Lindsay the places where he grew up in Canton. She even captured in photographs a few significant moments which Manson shared in his Instastories. The first photo was taken of Manson standing in front of his childhood home, while the second shows him sitting on the steps of Heritage Christian School, which he attended from first to tenth grade.

The next day Marilyn Manson performed to a sold-out show in Cleveland's House of Blues, where the following hits made it on the setlist:

Open Letter Calls for Cancelation of Marilyn Manson Concert in Bern

Below I translated two articles from German publications where they talk about an open letter recently written and that has been published calling for the cancelation of Marilyn Manson's November 22nd concert in Bern, Switzerland. The Open Letter is also translated after the two articles. They currently have a petition out as well that began on September 10th calling for public support, where they currently have 470 signatures (see here).

Open Letter Calls for Cancellation of Marilyn Manson Concert in Bern

The scandal-ridden rocker is scheduled to perform at the Bern Festhalle at the end of November. Left-wing parties and women's organizations want to prevent the concert.

Rocker Marilyn Manson's planned performance on November 22nd in Bern is facing opposition: The Young Socialists (Juso), Social Democratic Party (SP), Greens, and the women's organizations Frieda and Brava have issued an open letter calling on the organizer to cancel the concert. Also signing the letter are rapper Greis, cabaret artist Renato Kaiser, sexual violence expert Agota Lavoyer, and influencer Morena Diaz.

US artist Marilyn Manson has been accused of sexual abuse, rape, and domestic violence. The victims also accuse him of psychological and emotional abuse. Manson denies all allegations. However, after four years of investigation, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office dropped the ongoing proceedings against Manson, stating that the crimes had expired or the evidence was insufficient.

The statute of limitations does not make crimes unnoticed, states the Bernese Leftists in its open letter, and: "The fact that the statements of numerous women in court are being considered 'lack of evidence' is indicative of the anti-feminist backlash."

Criticism of the organizer, Bernexpo, and the city

The letter is addressed to the concert organizer Good News Productions AG, but also to Bernexpo, where the concert is scheduled to take place. "Bernexpo stands for diversity, openness, and respect," said its CEO Tom Winter to "Blick". However, he also emphasized that Bernexpo is only the "host," not the organizer. Good News Productions did not comment on the open letter.

The open letter was initiated by Judith Schenk and Sofia Fisch, members of the SP/Juso faction in the city parliament. In a motion, they also called on the city council to speak out against the concert. The city is a minority shareholder in the exhibition center where Manson is scheduled to perform.

The city of Bern spends a lot of money every year on prevention and protection against sexual violence, Schenk told "Blick". Therefore, it must also resist providing a platform for perpetrators. "It's important that the city reacts in a timely manner: Rammstein's performance two years ago could perhaps have been prevented with earlier protests," Schenk told "Blick".

In 2023, the German band Rammstein gave two concerts at Wankdorf. Even then, resistance was forming because singer Till Lindemann was accused of abuse of power and sexual assault against female fans.

Manson concert in Brighton already canceled

Marilyn Manson is on tour throughout Europe throughout October and November. A concert in Brighton, which was scheduled to take place in October, has already been canceled due to protests. In Bournemouth, a politician is also calling for the cancellation of a planned Manson concert. "What English cities can do, Bern can do too," the open letter concludes.

The big party is set to take place in Bern at the end of November: If everything goes as planned, shock rocker Marilyn Manson (56) will rock the Festhalle on the Bernexpo grounds. However, the scandal-ridden US musician is already shaking up the city of Bern long before his performance, at least politically.

In an open letter, left-wing parties, women's organizations, and Swiss artists are vehemently demanding that the concert be stopped. The initiators are also putting pressure on the Bern city parliament. "No violent criminals on Bern's stages," they demand.

Artists vs. US Musicians

Manson is considered one of the most controversial US artists: In addition to misogynistic lyrics, depictions of violence, and other provocative actions, numerous women have accused him of sexual abuse and domestic violence in the past. One of the victims was only 16 years old at the time of the alleged crime.

Manson should therefore not perform in Bern under any circumstances, as the petition demands. Among the co-signatories are several prominent names: In addition to the Social Democratic Party (SP), the Juso (Young Socialists), the Young Greens, and the women's rights organization Frieda, the Eastern Swiss cabaret artist Renato Kaiser (39), the victim support counselor Agota Lavoyer (44), and the Bernese rapper Greis (47), among others, have signed their names.

"I'm concerned with making a statement," Kaiser told "Blick". Victims of sexual violence must be believed. "Such incidents cannot simply be forgotten or swept under the rug." The satirist hopes that the city and the organizer will take more responsibility from now on when it comes to deciding who is given a platform. "Rape culture exists, is a danger to society, and combating it also concerns, and especially, men."

City government should oppose performance

The letter was drafted by Judith Schenk (44) and Sofia Fisch (29), both members of the SP/Juso parliamentary group in the Bern city parliament. They also addressed a motion to the city government, which is a minority shareholder in the exhibition center where Manson is scheduled to perform.

"It's important that the city reacts in a timely manner: Rammstein's performance two years ago could perhaps have been prevented with earlier protests," Schenk told "Blick". Bern spends a lot of money every year on prevention and protection against all kinds of violence. "Speaking out clearly against the concert would even be free. It's important to consistently oppose providing a platform for perpetrators."

The criticism is directed primarily at the organizer, Good News Productions, rather than at the Bernexpo management. "The control mechanisms at Bernexpo seem to have malfunctioned," says Schenk. However, Good News must be considered a failure. "I don't assume they didn't know who they were dealing with."

What the organizers say

"Bernexpo stands for diversity, openness, and respect," said its CEO Tom Winter regarding Marilyn Manson's controversial appearance. "Our venue should be a place where everyone feels welcome – discriminatory content has no place here." At the same time, Winter wants to emphasize that they are not the organizer, but the host.

However, even if the program planning is the responsibility of external organizers, the exhibition hall assumes responsibility for the environment "with clear safeguards, an ethics check for bookings, and targeted awareness measures on site." This is intended to ensure that the venue is perceived "as an open, respectful, and responsible" event location. The Zurich-based organizer Good News Productions, which is bringing Marilyn Manson to Bern, declined to comment yesterday when asked by "Blick".

Manson has already been brought to justice in England.

The shock rocker himself denied all the allegations. He was also not convicted: American authorities closed their four-year investigation at the beginning of the year due to the statute of limitations and because the allegations could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office expressed regret at the time that no charges had been filed. However, the women's courage had at least raised greater awareness of the challenges faced by survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, they said after the investigation was closed.

"I can hardly bear the injustice," said SP City Councilor Schenk about the case. "Because all the women are once again not believed, the court considers the evidence to be too flimsy. It's always the same mechanisms."

While Manson remains an invited guest in Bern, action has been taken elsewhere: In October, the musician was scheduled to perform in the English coastal town of Brighton. After considerable political and public pressure, the concert was removed from the tour schedule.

OPEN LETTER

We demand that BERNEXPO, or rather the organizer Good News Productions AG, cancel Manson's concert on November 22, 2025, and ensure that future booking processes ensure that no violent offenders can sneak onto Bern's stages. Because violence is not a private matter, and everyone's safety is a central component of the quality of life in our city.

Furthermore, we expect the City of Bern to take political action to ensure that Manson and other offenders are not given a platform.

Reason

A concert featuring Marilyn Manson is planned for November 22, 2025 – just three days before the "16 Days Against Violence 2025" campaign begins[1] – in the Festhalle at BERNEXPO in Bern.

Manson is an internationally renowned musician who has repeatedly disseminated violent and misogynistic content in the past. At least three ex-partners[2], his former personal assistant[3], and other women have made serious allegations against Manson. They allege sexual and psychological abuse, including of a minor[4]. Coercion, assault, and human trafficking[5].

Manson was acquitted – due to the statute of limitations and "lack of evidence." The statute of limitations does not undo crimes; and the fact that the testimony of numerous women is still considered "lack of evidence" in court even in 2025 – that women are neither believed nor taken seriously – is indicative of our zeitgeist: the anti-feminist backlash is manifesting itself in full force in the form of violence and hatred against women. Misogyny is now being openly expressed again, and in Switzerland, in particular, it is culminating in an unbearably high number of femicides[6]: every 10 days, a woman is killed in Switzerland because she is a woman.

The cultural and activism scene in the Swiss capital stands for a radical zero-tolerance approach to any kind of violence. As one of the hotspots of feminism in Switzerland, Bern's responsibility is even greater to believe victims and deny perpetrators a platform. Activism, words, and campaigns alone are not enough: violent behavior and actions must be followed by appropriate consequences.

We demand that BERNEXPO and the organizer, Good News Productions AG, cancel the concert and ensure that their future booking processes ensure that no violent perpetrators can sneak onto Bern's stages. Because violence is not a private matter, and everyone's safety is a central component of the quality of life in our city.

Furthermore, we expect the City of Bern to take political action to ensure that Manson and other perpetrators are denied a platform.

In Brighton, England, a Manson concert was already canceled, citing the reason given: "The city council [in Brighton] has a responsibility to act when there is a threat of discrimination, harassment, or victimization." In Bournemouth, there are also calls for the performance to be canceled.[7]

What English cities can do, Bern can do too. Shame must finally change sides, and we must reject violence and shame from the stage.

Chloë Sevigny Buckles Under Pressure and Removes Photo With Marilyn Manson

Marilyn Manson attended Netflix's 2025 Emmy's Toast on Friday night September 12, 2025. The only online evidence of his presence there were two photos posted by actress Chloë Sevigny in her InstaStories, where Manson has his arm over her shoulder posing for the photo and she is being playful with him, and next to them are her husband Siniša Mačković with Swedish filmmaker and musician Jonas Åkerlund. Despite being photographed with other people that night, Chloë decided to only post those two photos with Manson. In less than 12 hours after posting those photos, they were removed from her InstaStories. What happened?

If you go to Chloë's Instagram page under her September 6th post (the last she posted), you will see that she got a bunch of backlash for posting those stories with Manson. The two photos also circulated by haters on other social media platforms and Reddit, calling her out for being photographed with "rapist" and "abuser" Manson. One can only imagine the private messages she got. There was no doubt that the photos were likely removed due to this backlash ahead of Sunday's Emmy Awards for which she received her first nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, thanks to her performance in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

This PR nightmare was confirmed when a reply to one of these comments by Chloë herself was published. Her comment, however, was a shameful apology, and she blamed it all on being intoxicated. She wrote:

It's one thing to be simply photographed with Manson, but to be nearly licking his face in the photo and then post only the photos with him in her stories instead of other photos of herself from the event is a whole other matter. Clearly she was trying to avoid a celebrity scandal with a silly excuse in the form of an apology in order to distance herself as much as possible from her Party Monster co-star Marilyn Manson. It may be true she didn't realize the backlash she would get, but downplaying everything else, where she can't even admit that they were at the same party but just happened to meet in a hotel lobby, then blaming everything on being drunk, just comes off as dishonest.

Now that the Emmy's are over, she should apologize for her pathetic apology.

Tyler Bates Gives a Revelatory Interview at Rocklahoma 2025

Before playing the main stage at Rocklahoma 2025, on August 29th, Marilyn Manson guitarist Tyler Bates sat down for a revelatory interview with Starcade Media.

In the interview Tyler first of all reveals that Chapter 2 of the One Assassination Under God series of albums will be out soon, though a date is not given. He said: "We've had a great response to One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, and we look forward to sharing Chapter 2 with people before you know it."

He also shared how personal and cinematic the process is like when he and Manson create songs together: "The way he and I write together is, I mean, it's a very personal environment. It's just the two of us, and the songs are created on the spot together. And so there's a lot of, let's see, put it this way. As a film composer, I've become deft at helping empower stories with music, and help people tell the story in the way that they wish to tell it. And for whatever reason, because Manson has such a cinematic aspect to just his art, the way he looks at life, as a person overall, we really connect. And when we're creating music together, it doesn't really require much dialogue. We just kind of, you know, read each other and just kind of get into it and do it.

Explaining what makes these albums different from the albums of the past, he said: "These songs are really weighted with a lot of personal thoughts and emotions, more than, say, some of the older material that was, let's say, based on the persona and the perspectives that he was interested in sharing or reflecting to people."

Tyler also hinted that concerts in the near future should expect rare and never before played live songs: "But with every tour that we do, every leg, we are going to be introducing different songs. And I can assure you that through the rest of the year, there will be songs that have either never been performed before or very, very rarely in our set."

Eminem Drops Previously Unreleased Track With a Marilyn Manson Reference

When Eminem released his 2002 album The Eminem Show, I noticed during "The Kiss (Skit)" there is background music where you can hear the name Marilyn Manson be used in a never released song of his. Yesterday, August 26th 2025, that song was finally released after 23 years.

The song is called “Everybody’s Looking At Me” and it can found on the Stans soundtrack.

It was produced by Dr. Dre, with the first verse of the track from a 2002 Funkmaster Flex freestyle with Eminem later expanding it into a full song.

The lyrics leading up to and mentioning Manson are as follows:

Aaron Lewis Talks About His "Penpal" Friendship With Marilyn Manson

Towards the end of the August 22, 2025 episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, guest and Stained frontman Aaron Lewis talked about his "penpal" friendship with Marilyn Manson, when asked by Tucker who the truly good people in the music industry are.

"I have a lot of acquaintances in the industry. Like there’s people that I have huge love and respect for. Like me and you text all the time, me and Marilyn Manson text all the time. He'd actually surprise you... Brian is one of the most intelligent, profound conversations I have ever had with somebody. I use the word evil lightly, but he's like an evil genius. He is fully aware of every single button he is purposely pushing... Like it's all been calculated... He knows exactly what he's doing. He knows exactly what buttons he's pushing and he's pushing them on purpose. He's amazing... He's like my modern-day pen pal. We never actually talk on the phone. We just text."

Tucker Carlson also mentioned interviewing Manson years ago:

"I interviewed him in the 90s, Brian, and I thought he was smart. In maybe 1999 at the Chateau Marmont in LA."

Amid controversy since Marilyn Manson announced he would be performing a free concert in San Luis Potosi, Mexico at the National Fair (FENAPO), the day finally came for him to perform on Sunday, August 10th.

A staggering 205,000 people gathered to enjoy the performance, the largest amount of people in the history of FENAPO, which is known as the most traditional fair in Mexico. This includes the total of 400,000 people throughout the fair, many of which were unable to enter the venue. It is reported also that hundreds of buses and dozens of tourist vans came from all over Mexico that day to be at the fair. And Governor Cardona reported on August 21st: "With Marilyn Manson, we had the airport packed, all the flights from the United States—Houston, San Antonio, Dallas—all the flights full of people who came from the United States to see the artist, got to know San Luis Potosí, and fell in love with San Luis Potosí.”

As previously reported, on June 15th the Archbishop of San Luis Potosi put in a request to Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona to cancel Marilyn Manson from performing at FENAPO, since according to him it is supposed to be a family and cultural event, and he spoke of the religious and social concerns associated with having someone like Manson at such an esteemed National Fair.

The Governor was quick to reply, stating that San Luis Potosi must open itself up beyond cultural music tastes to all forms of musical genres, and respect a plurality of thinking as is fitting for a secular state, therefore the show with Marilyn Manson would go on as scheduled.

As the concert was approaching, a petition created by the National Union of Parents gathered 6,100 signatures to have the Marilyn Manson show canceled, but a petition in response to this gathered 9,878 supporters to allow the Manson concert to go on.

Before Manson took the stage, he was welcomed by Governor Cardona and given a gift for what he called a "historic" event for San Luis Potosi.

Governor Cardona told Billboard Español that he booked Manson as a “defense of freedom of expression,” and with the intent of helping the central Mexican state overcome the “cultural lag” that has kept the state out of major concerts for decades — largely due to, in his opinion, “conservative mindsets” that have demonized hard rock for years.

“There will always be opposing voices, and Marilyn Manson has faced them not just in Mexico but in other parts of the world too. But if he’s already performed in Rome, the cradle of Catholicism, why couldn’t he perform in San Luis Potosi?” the governor told Billboard ahead of the concert. “This isn’t about religion; it’s about cultural justice, about creating unity, and we must do it through music.”

Manson's performance, which had been widely talked about in the Mexican media due to the controversy, was met with great enthusiasm in anticipation of the event, with hundreds waiting in line for hours before being allowed in the venue.

Earlier that day, a large skinned cow’s head was placed in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Luis Potosí. It is unknown if it was placed there as a response to the protests of Catholics who demanded the cancelation of the concert, of if the protestors themselves placed it there to demonize Manson fans. Police had surrounded the cathedral and it is assumed an investigation took place, but no reports as of yet have uncovered any answers.

“I think we need to be a bit more plural today; it’s not all about regional Mexican music,” says the 44-year-old Cardona, who is known for his charismatic personality. “Last year, we held talks with Metallica’s and Scorpions’ management teams. It was hard to finalize because of their tours, but we managed to start a dialogue with Marilyn Manson’s management and made it happen.”

During the concert, the crowd was euphoric and Manson with his band were visibly very pleased, and repeatedly said the name of the state and a few phrases in English that many tried to understand. “San Luis Potosi, thank you!” he said. “It’s great to be here.” He also said: "This here is the best crowd I've ever played to." The setlist consisted of 14 of Manson's hits.

In a social media post, Governor Cardona posted "the FNP Forum is at its peak for the Marilyn Manson concert, in a vibrant atmosphere and with a lot of metal spirit. Because life is not described, it is lived!" The governor attended the concert with his wife and two young daughters, who all seemed to be really enjoying the show. This was done as a statement by the governor to the protestors that the concert is safe and enjoyable for all ages and families. He also posted several videos and photos of Manson's performance. After the show Manson and the governor followed each other on Instagram.

Tyler Bates wrote on Instagram: "Definitely the most incredible crowd of my lifetime. It's an honor every time to take the stage with @marilynmanson and my awesome bandmates, @gilsharone, @piggydofficial, @reebm."

According to the Mexico Daily Post: "This landmark concert not only reaffirmed Marilyn Manson’s enduring appeal but also showcased San Luis Potosí’s capacity to host world-class events on a massive scale."

Marilyn Manson Attends Ozzy Osbourne Funeral

On July 31st, Marilyn Manson and his wife Lindsay Warner were among 110 invited guests of Ozzy Osbourne's nearest and dearest to attend his private funeral at his 250-acre estate near Gerrards Cross.

Guests were sent a simple black invitation with a picture of a cross that read: “In loving memory of Ozzy Osbourne.” They were transported from The Crowne Plaza and The Bull in Gerrards Cross to the house at 2pm, with the service starting at 3pm.

Pictures of Ozzy were dotted throughout the house and a photograph of him was given to everyone who attended to take home with them. A huge floral tribute was seen at the mansion that spelled out “Ozzy fucking Osbourne.” Fans left tributes at the gate of the estate.

The ceremony comes just one day after Osbourne’s family and friends came together in Birmingham, England, for a funeral procession.

At the private funeral on Thursday, a slew of famous musicians paid tribute to the heavy metal icon, including Osbourne’s Black Sabbath bandmates Terence “Geezer” Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward. Among other guests were Zakk Wylde, James Hetfield, Yungblud, Sir Elton John, Corey Taylor and Rob Zombie.

According to reports, Ozzy “wanted his final place of rest to be at home, and he is buried at a beautiful point on the lake.”

Hours after the funeral, Marilyn Manson offered his tribute to Ozzy on social media, which is his third tribute since Ozzy's final show just weeks ago as well as upon news of his death on July 22nd. He wrote:

"Today we laid to rest a beloved friend. I am eternally grateful that you let me into your life Ozzy. Your inspiration and love will always be with me. Thank you Sharon and family for a reverent, beautiful ceremony. Your legacy lives on."

Media reports of Marilyn Manson's presence were for the most part fine and respectful, but some reports decided to focus on the fake controversy a few weeks ago where some British media falsely reported that there was a "huge backlash" against Manson's video tribute to Ozzy which aired at the farewell concert. In fact, as was reported here, the so-called "huge backlash" was about a handful of accounts on X, formerly known as Twitter, who in fact had no engagement. Some also reported there was also booing and people turning their backs on Manson when his video came on in the venue, but this turned out to be a complete fabrication by news outlets.

Later that Friday, July 31st, Marilyn Manson, a native of Ohio, announced that his September 16th show in Cleveland had sold out almost immediately after tickets went on sale that day.

On August 2nd Manson and Lindsay posted on Instagram a video of Manson on what appears to be an English countryside picking and smelling a flower.

Despite Pressure to Cancel Marilyn Manson's Nottingham Show, Venue Confirms it is "Going Ahead as Scheduled"

After Marilyn Manson's October 26th show in Brighton was canceled due to a few annoying male feminist moralizers who pressured Green Party members of the City Council, which owned the venue there, the only other real possible chance of another Manson show being canceled in England during his originally six scheduled tour dates was in Nottingham. This is because the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena is also owned by the City Council, though in Nottingham the Council is mainly dominated by the slightly less liberal Labour Party, if that makes any difference. The other four venues of the original six do not have this setup, so there is much less of a chance those will be canceled. Naturally, therefore, the male feminist fascist losers of Male Allies Challenging Sexism who want to control the purity standards of pristine England have focused their sites on Nottingham and pressuring the Council members to cancel the gig there.

The concert at Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham is scheduled for November 2nd, and following pressure two city councillors had called for it to be cancelled.

Councillor Georgia Power said she would be raising the concerns directly with the council and calling on arena bosses to cancel the event. “I share the group’s concerns about the message platforming Manson sends to women in Nottingham,” she said. “Ultimately I believe this is a decision for Motorpoint Arena, so will also be contacting them urging them to cancel the show.”

Similarly, Councillor Matt Shannon, who represents the Castle ward where the arena is based, added: “I’m very much against the decision by Motorpoint to hold this event.”

Alex Norris, Labour MP for Nottingham North and Kimberley, has also written to the arena asking for the booking to be looked at again, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

At the same time, the Nottingham City Council said: “Motorpoint Arena is a separate entity to the council and is solely responsible for decisions around event programming.” This is a privilege Brighton did not have, as the arena there was told to cancel Manson outright on the basis that Manson is a danger to 14 year old girls who may attend the concert. Meanwhile in Brighton, a few days later on July 5th, the city forced 14 year old girls to watch dozens of adult males ride their bicycles on the public streets completely nude, which they hail as a perfectly acceptable annual tradition since 2006.

A few days ago it was also reported that the leader of the Nottingham City Council, Councillor Neghat Khan, wrote to Home Secretary Yvette Cooper over concerns about Manson's show in Nottingham. The purpose of this was to seek legal advice on the matter. This is because in June 2022 the City Council "unlawfully" canceled a talk by activist Julie Bindel at one of its libraries. Bindel, a feminist campaigner and author, had her talk at Aspley Library canceled by the council due to her views on transgender rights. After taking legal action and engaging in three months of pre-action correspondence, the parties reached agreement on mutually acceptable terms. The council apologized to Bindel and admitted it had acted “unlawfully” in canceling her talk, and a Freedom of Information request submitted by the Local Democracy Reporting Service at the time revealed the council spent £10,680 on legal fees and provided a £569.99 “settlement”.

According to Councillor Neghat Khan: “The problem is when we had the Julie Bindel situation at the library, we had to do a public apology. It got loads of complaints at the time. We’ve had our fingers burnt. We are not getting in that situation again. We have asked for legal advice internally. At the moment, the stance is that I’ve put the statement out to say it is not really our decision. We are not in a position where we want to pay compensation. It is reputationally bad for us. I get other local authorities have done it. We are seeking further legal advice – but I will be writing to the Home Secretary.”

According to all media reports at this time, "a spokesperson for Motorpoint Arena declined to comment." However, a number of people who have written the arena by email and called them on the telephone have received the same reassuring message, that "the show is going ahead as scheduled." In the email this message is signed by "The Hospitality Team" of Motorpoint Arena.

From this we can conclude that Marilyn Manson will indeed be playing in Nottingham. Of course minds can change, but the chances of that happening at this point are extremely low.
