This is our first year as members of a local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) group. We have luxuriated in our unbelievably inexpensive weekly haul of fresh vegetables straight from the farm to our table. Our new friends at Cosmic Apple Gardens welcomed the membership for a fun outing at the farm to celebrate local food sourcing and learn more about how they make it happen. Thanks Jed, Dale and crew!

To say the trout in the National Elk Reserve are wary would be a major understatement. You cannot simply saunter up to Flat Creek and cavalierly toss a fly in. You have to silently stalk these guys from behind the grass, preferably on your knees and out of sight. You may get one shot to lay the fly in the perfect spot and it has to be exactly the right size, color and pattern. Degree of difficulty: Extreme
