Running Total/ Cumulative Sum in Excel

Hey Guys! You should have noticed that I'm writing on MS Excel for last few days! To be honest I'm trying to learn some simple and useful tricks of Excel. And I'm also trying to share my knowledge with you. In this post I've come with such a little trick which maybe very useful if you face such situation. Let's begin . . .

Running Total/ Cumulative Sum

It means the summation of numbers in a list and it will be updated each time when a number is added or changes. Look at the image below -

Look at the image. There are two columns with numbers. The first one is simply the number list. But the 2nd one is the summation of the list. Each time a new number is added to the first column the second one shows the summation.

How to do this?

It's not a magic. Very simple sum formula is used to perform this task. But there is a little trick. You just need to lock the first cell and then every time it will update the running total list.

Here is my list. Simply type some numbers in your Excel. In my list there are 10 numbers ranging from F7 to F16. And I've used column G for running total calculation. In G7 I've used this formula -

=SUM($F$7:F7)

Or this will work too =SUM(F$7:F7)

Why $ sign? Yes that's the magic. In Excel $ sign is used to lock a cell. In G7 this formula will add F7 with F7 itself. But in G8 this formula will add F7 with F8. In G9 this formula will add F7, F8 and F9.

Know why? Cause you've locked first F7 cell by putting dollar sign. But the second F7 is not fixed. When you drag the formula the first F7 cell will remain in its position and the second F7 cell will be converted to F8, F9, F10 . . . .

How do you put $ sign?

You can lock the cell manually by simply typing dollar sign. But there is a comfortable keyboard shortcut you can use. This is F4. Put your cursor in the formula. Place it before the cell number which you wanna lock. Now press F4 button to automatically put the dollar sign. Do this like -

=SUM(IF7:F7)

Look at the red sign in the above formula. Suppose it's your cursor. Take your cursor at this position and press F4. And it will lock your first F7 cell like below -

=SUM($F$7:F7)

If you type manually then you don't need to put $ before F. You can just put $ before 7. This will do the same task.

Joining Texts from Multiple Cells in Excel

Programs like MS Excel is full of functions. There are many useful functions that we don't use or we don't know about. One of them is CONCATENATE. It means joining or linking. With this function you can join texts from multiple cells. Let's see how . . .

Suppose you're working in an Excel Worksheet where you need to combine texts from different cells. I'm gonna show you an example. Let's consider the image below -

What do you see? I've imputed First Name and Last Name. In Full Name column I've used the formula i.e. CONCATENATE. And in the last column I've added Mr. with the full name.

So how do you use this formula? Here it is -

=CONCATENATE(A2," ",B2)

Observe it carefully. You can add more than 02 cells with this functions. Here I've just used 02 cells. You may think what is this " " for? You may notice that there is a space between the two i.e. " & ".

If you don't use " " then your full name will be like AbdurRahim. But two words should be separate. And for this weed need to put space. But in computer you should know space is a kind of character. That's why we need to put space between this quotation " " mark.

Now you have the full name in column C. If you wanna put Mr. before the full name then you can do it this way -

=CONCATENATE("Mr. ",C2)

Since we have the full name in Column C we can simply put "Mr. ",C2 within the bracket. You should notice that there is a space after Mr. so that we get the name as Mr. Abdur Rahim.

There is a problem!

You should have noticed that we've used two different columns for joining the names with Mr. But you can also do this in a single column. If you use the formula as below then you can do this task at once -

=CONCATENATE("Mr. ",A2," ",B2)

If you put the formula like this then you don't need the first two formula. Cause this one will join your names with Mr. without needing any additional column like the 2nd formula.

Facebook থেকে ভিডিও ডাউনলোড করার সহজ উপায়

আপনারা অনেকেই হয়তো বিষয়টি জেনে থাকবেন। কিন্তু যারা এখনো জানেন না তাদের জন্য আজকের এই লেখা। হ্যা। আজকে আপনারা দেখবেন কিভাবে সহজেই ফেসবুক থেকে আপনি আপনার পছন্দের কোন ভিডিও ডাউনলোড করে নিতে পারেন।

সত্যি বলতে কি তেমন কোন বিশেষ জ্ঞান আপনার দরকার নেই এটা করার জন্য। Google Play তে অসংখ্য Apps রয়েছে যারা মাধ্যমে আপনি Facebook থেকে ভিডিও নামাতে পারবেন। আপনি চাইলে আপনার পছন্দ মত যে কোন App বেছে নিতে পারেন। তবে আমার কাছে FastVid অ্যাপটি ভাল লেগেছে। আর সেজন্যেই আপনাদের সাথে শেয়ার করা . . .

তো চলুন কথা না বাড়িয়ে কাজে নেমে পড়ি। প্রথমেই Google Play তে গিয়ে FastVid লিখে সার্চ করুন। তাহলেই আপনার সামনে সেটা চলে আসবে। অথবা সরাসরি নিচের ছবিটিতে ক্লিক করুন।

এরপর এটা ডাউনলোড করে নিন। নিজে থেকেই ইন্সটল হয়ে যাবার কথা। এবারে App টি চালু করুন। নিচের মত একটা স্ক্রীন আসবে।

প্রথম অপশনটিতে আপনাকে ফেসবুকে সাইন ইন করতে বলবে। সেখানে আপনি আপনার ID ও Password দিয়ে সাইন ইন করবেন। তারপর আপনি সেখান থেকে নিজের মন ভিডিও নামিয়ে নিতে পারবেন। কিন্তু আপনি যদি নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে অ্যাপটিতে নিজের ফেসবুক দিয়ে সাইন ইন করতে না চান সেক্ষেত্রে আপনাকে পরের অপশনটিতে যেতে হবে।

ফেসবুক একাউন্ট দিয়ে সাইন ইন না করতে চাইলে আপনি URL অপশনটিতে চলে যাবেন। সেখানে গেলে এই পেজটি আসবে -

লক্ষ্য করে দেখুন এখানে একটি বক্স আছে। যেটাতে আপনি ভিডিও লিংক কপি করে বসাতে পারবেন। এক্ষেত্রে আপনাকে প্রথমেই ফেসবুক থেকে আপনার পছন্দের ভিডিও লিংকটি কপি করে আনতে হবে। এরপর এখানে পেস্ট করে দিবেন। ডাউনলোড বাটন প্রেস করার পর এই স্ক্রীন টি আসবে -

এখানে তিনটি অপশন দেখা যাচ্ছে। আপনি যদি High Quality Video নামাতে চান তাহলে HD অপশনটি চেপে দিন। আর যদি মোটামুটি মানের হলেই কাজ চলে তাহলে SD বেছে নিন। এতে করে আপনার Mobile Data সাশ্রয় হবে। আর চাইলে ভিডিও টি ডাউনলোড না করে শুধু দেখতেও পারবেন। সেজন্য আছে Watch অপশন। যদিও এটার দরকার নেই। কারণ দেখতে হলে আপনি ফেসবুকেই দেখতে পারেন। এখানে আসার দরকার নেই।

MS Excel Functinos (LEFT, MID, RIGHT, LEN, MID+LEN)

Hello guys! In this post I'm gonna write about some basic functions of Excel i.e. left, right, mid, len & mid+len. Normally they look really simple. But they can be of great use if you know how to combine them with other functions . . .

In this tutorial I'm not gonna discuss about complex use of these functions. I will simply show you the basic use of them. Hopefully next time you will see the advanced use of these functions.

Let's start with the image above. There are mainly 04 formulas i.e. Left, Mid, Right & Len. And the next 02 are combinations of Mid and Len functions.

I've tried to explain every formula in this image. I guess nothing is ambiguous with these 04 functions.

You might be confused with the combinations. In the 1st combination the 02 functions are simply merged.

But in the 2nd combination you should notice that len function is not used. Instead we've used the len column i.e. G2. That is the difference. 1st combination requires to merge len function with mid. It doesn't require any other column. But 2nd combination is using a different len column instead of merging len function with the mid.

Rounding Numbers in MS Excel

If you work with fraction numbers in Excel then you might be familiar with this problem. While summing up fraction figures in Excel the result may vary from manual calculation. This happens because Excel counts every digits after the decimal point even if they don't appear on the screen!

To fix this problem you can round the fraction numbers as per your requirements. Today I will talk about some simple ways to round the numbers. Hope this will solve your problem and save time as well . . .

Rounding the Numbers

First you should know that Excel has 03 formulas to round the numbers -

Round
Rounddown
Roundup

Depending on your necessity you can choose any of them. Let's begin . . .

Now I'm begging your attention to the above image. I've tried to show all the formulas in a single worksheet.

Look at the original numbers and their summation. And then look at the values of rounded numbers and their summations. There are some differences. Now it's your duty to decide which type of rounding you will follow.

For accurate calculation I will suggest you to use normal rounding formula. But depending on your work, you can also choose between roundup and rounddown.

You should remember that this is just a basic tip for rounding numbers. There are many more advanced tasks to do in Excel.

For example if you wanna round up before the decimal point then you can use a negative sign i.e. =Round(A2,-1) or =Round(A2,-2). But in that case your value should be 03 digits or more.

How to Change IP Address on Windows 10 (Easy Way)

In fact this is not a very difficult task. But in case of emergency you may not find the right option and this happened in my office few days ago! I solved the problem myself and decided to write a note for you at my site . . .

Changing IP Address on Windows 10

Simply move your mouse pointer at the bottom right corner and make a click on network icon > choose Open Network and Internet settings. Follow the image below -

After clicking on this option you will get the following dialogue box. Here you should notice Ethernet properties. Click on it.

Now you will get another screen as below. Here you will get several options. But our concern is IP settings and Properties. If wanna view your IP details then look at the Properties. If you need to change it then hit on the Edit button.

After clicking on the Edit button you will have two options i.e. Automatic (DHCP) & Manual.

In order the change the IP you should choose the Manual option. Then you have to turn on IPv4 to get the required options.

Now you can input the values as your requirements. If you want the details of your IP Configuration then you can do it from Command Prompt. Simply do the following operation -

Press Start + R > Type cmd > Press Enter > Type ipconfig > Press Enter.

After typing ipconfig on your Command Prompt you will get the information as shown in this image. And this will help you to change the ip address. You just need to change IPv4 address. Or it may depend on your network and organization.

আপনার Android Phone এ যোগ করে নিন নামাজের সময়সূচী

Google Search ব্যবহার করে আমরা আমাদের দৈনন্দিন বিভিন্ন কাজ অনেক সহজে ও কম সময়ে করতে পারি। যেমন Alarm সেট করা, আবহাওয়া সম্পর্কে ধারণা নেওয়া সহ আরো বহু জরুরী কাজে গুগল আমাদের সাহায্য করে থাকে। আজকে আপনাদের সাথে গুগল সার্চের একটি অতি জরুরী সুবিধা নিয়ে আলাপ করব। এর মাধ্যমে আপনারা খুব সহজেই নামাজের সঠিক সময়সূচী সম্পর্কে তাৎক্ষণিক ধারণা নিতে পারবেন। আর সেই সাথে এটা আপনার Location অনুযায়ী সব সময় আপনাকে সঠিক সময়সূচী দিবে। আমি আশা করব এটা অবশ্যই মুসলিম ভাই বোনদের বেশ কাজে দিবে। তো আর কথা না বাড়িয়ে দেখি কিভাবে এটা আপনার Android Phone এর Home Screen এ সেট করবেন।

প্রথমেই আপনার Phone থেকে Google Chrome চালু করে গুগল সার্চ করুন Prayer Time কথাটি লিখে। অথবা লিখতে পারেন Islamic Prayer Time. যেটাই লিখেন না কেন ফলাফল নিচের স্ক্রীনের মত হবে -

এখানে পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামাজের সময়সূচী দেওয়া আছে। সেই সাথে সূর্যোদয় এর সময়ও দেওয়া আছে। এবং এই সময়সূচী আপনার মোবাইলের লোকেশন অনুযায়ী দেখানো হবে। আপনার এলাকায় যে সময় যেই নামাজের ওয়াক্ত এখানে সেই সময়টাই দেখানো হবে।

ঠিক এর নিচেই দেখবেন Change নামে একটা অপশন আছে। সেখান থেকে আপনি নামাজের সময়সূচীর বিভিন্ন Standard পছন্দ করে নিতে পারবেন।

লক্ষ্য করে দেখুন এখানে বেশ কিছু Calculation Standards আছে। আপনি চাইলে পরিবর্তন করে নিতে পারেন। সেই সাথে আছর নামাজের সময়ের জন্য আলাদা একটা অপশন আছে। সেখান থেকে আপনি Standard অথবা Hanafi নির্বাচন করে নিতে পারেন।

এভাবে প্রতি বার যে কোন সময় আপনি গুগলে গিয়ে সার্চ করে নামাজের সঠিক সময় বের করে নিতে পারেন। কিন্তু আমি আপনাদের এই কাজটিকে আরেকটু সহজ করে দেবার জন্য আজকে লিখতে বসেছি।

নামাজের সময়সূচী Screen এ Shortcut করে নেবার পদ্ধতি -

উপরের ছবিটি লক্ষ্য করুন। আপনি Google Chrome এ সার্চ এ থাকা অবস্থাতেই Browser একেবারে উপর ডান দিকে সেটিংস (⋮) বাটনে যান। সেখান থেকে এই অপশনগুলো পাবেন। এবার দেখুন লাল রং এর বক্স করা অপশনটি। এটাতে ক্লিক করুন। তারপর দেখবেন সার্চ অপশনটি আপনার Home Screen এ সেভ হয়ে গেছে।

পরবর্তীতে আপনার যখনই নামাজের সময়সূচী দেখার প্রয়োজন হবে আপনি শুধু এটাতে একবার ট্যাপ করবেন। ১ থেকে ২ সেকেন্ডের মধ্যেই আপনার সামনে ফলাফল চলে আসবে। আপনি চাইলে অন্য কিছুও এভাবে সেভ করে রাখতে পারেন যেটা আপনার বার বার দরকার হয়।

Paragraph Marks Can't be Removed? Solve it Now!

Hello guys! Today I'm gonna talk about a stupid creation of Microsoft Office i.e. Paragraph Marks ¶. In my whole life I've never found a single person who is benefited by this option. But there are millions of users who are still suffering by this ridiculous feature. Today I've gonna show you how to solve this problem . . .

Show/ Hide Paragraph Marks ¶ | (Shift+Ctrl+*)

Very simple. When you're working on MS Word you will find this symbol (¶) in your toolbar.

First click will show the marks wherever you've pressed the Enter button. And the second click will hide all of these marks. You should know that this mark will not be appeared on printed document. It will just identify the places where you've pressed the Enter button to create a new paragraph.

Well that's quite fine so far. But what will you do when you can't remove these marks even by deselecting that Paragraph Mark?! Or you may think is it possible? Yes it's very possible. If this option is enabled from your MS Word settings then you can't turn it off by clicking paragraph marks!

What to do when paragraph marks button ¶ doesn't work?

Few days ago when I was working with MS Word I've noticed these marks in my document. I simply tried to remove them by turning off the marked option. But it was really shocking! Paragraph mark button didn't work! I've never experienced this sort of problem. I thought something is wrong with my setup and I need to reinstall it. Later I found the solution from Internet. And I'm gonna share it with you now . . .

This option is same for Office 2007, 2010, 2013 and above. 2007 users will go to the Word button located at the top left corner and choose Word Options. And for next versions the users will go to the file options as my image below -

After choosing the File > Options you will get the Word Options window. Then go to the Display Tab and find the formatting marks option. If the Paragraph marks options is selected then simply unmark the option. That's it.

From now you can show/hide paragraph marks by clicking Paragraph Marks button from your toolbar. The keyboard shortcut for this option is Shift+Ctrl+*.

What I'm trying to say so far is -

Open MS Word > Go to Word Options > Choose Display Tab > Always show these formatting marks on the screen > Paragraph Marks > Uncheck the box (if checked).

Adding Multiple Countif Functions in Excel

Back to my site after a long time with a simple excel trick. It's about countif functions of Excel which can count the cells depending on given criteria. Suppose you're analyzing the results of your students or anything else. You need to count the cells which are equal to or greater than or smaller than a specific value. Using countif function you can do so. And today I'm gonna show you how to add multiple countif function . . .

Countif Function

Suppose you're counting the cells which are more than 400. Your range is A3 to A12. Then your formula will be -

=COUNTIF(B3:B12,">400")

Similarly you can change the formula depending on your requirement. If you wanna find out the cells which are equal to 400 then -

=COUNTIF(B3:B12,"=400")

For below 400, you have to type -

=COUNTIF(B3:B12,"<400")

Adding the Multiple Countif Functions -

Hopefully you're done with countif function. Now I will show you how to add multiple countif functions in a single cell. Consider the above image again. Focus on the columns with numerical values i.e. B, D & F. We will count the cells of this column which are greater than 400. This is also a very easy task. What you have to do is simply adding the formula for different columns. Here is your formula -

=COUNTIF(B3:B12,">400")+COUNTIF(D3:D12,">400")+COUNTIF(F3:F12,">400")

In this way you can get your result in a single cell using a single formula. If you are using the same table then the result will be 21.

SMS এর মাধ্যমে যাচাই করে নিন আপনার ফোনের IMEI নম্বর

আজকের এই লেখাটাও শুধুমাত্র বাংলাদেশীদের জন্য। আপনারা অনেকেই হয়তো শুনেছেন BTRC - র ডেটাবেজে দেশের সকল মোবাইল ফোনের IMEI নম্বর সংরক্ষণ করা প্রসঙ্গে। ধারণা করা হচ্ছে একটা সময় পর নতুন কেনা মোবাইলগুলোর IMEI যদি BTRC'র ডেটাবেজে না পাওয়া যায় তাহলে সেগুলো আর মোবাইল নেটওয়ার্কের সাথে যুক্ত থাকতে পারবে না। কাজেই এ বিষয়গুলো সম্পর্কে Marks PC Solution এর পাঠকদের অবগত করার জন্যই আজকের এই পোস্ট।

স্বাভাবিক ভাবেই এদেশের যারা মোবাইল ফোন ডিলার রয়েছেন তারা নির্দিষ্ট পরিমাণ ট্যাক্স দিয়ে মোবাইল আমদানি করে থাকেন। কিন্তু এরাই আবার বেশি লাভের আশায় কর ফাকি দিয়ে বিপুল পরিমাণ মোবাইল সেট আমদানি করেন। এর ফলে ক্রেতারা হয়তো খুব সামান্যই ছাড় পায় ফোনের দামের দিক দিয়ে। কিন্তু কর ফাকি দিয়ে আমদানি করা এরকম অসংখ্য অবৈধ মোবাইল ফোন থেকে সরকারের প্রাপ্য হাজার হাজার কোটি টাকার রাজস্ব অনাদায়ী থেকে যায়।

আর এভাবে অবৈধ ফোন ক্রয় বিক্রয় হয় বলে আমাদের দেশে বিক্রিত ফোনের সঠিক পরিমাণও মোবাইল ফোন কোম্পানীগুলোর জানা থাকে না। আর এর ফলে তারা বাংলাদেশের মার্কেটের গুরুত্বও সেভাবে বুঝে উঠতে পারে না।

উদাহরণ স্বরুপ স্যামসাং এর কথাই ধরুন। তারা হয়তো অফিসিয়ালি আমাদের দেশে বছরে 20 লক্ষ সেট বিক্রি করে। তাদের কাছে এর বেশি রেকর্ড নেই। আর আরো 20 লক্ষ সেট ডিলার রা অবৈধভাবে আমদানি করে বিক্রি করে। এখন স্যামসাং যদি বাংলাদেশের মার্কেট গবেষণা করে পরবর্তী সময়ে নতুন নতুন সেট বাজারে ছাড়ে তখন তারা কিন্তু সেই 20 লক্ষ সেটের চাহিদা বিবেচনা করেই ফোনের দাম নির্ধারণ করবে। এবং আমাদের দেশের জন্য কোন ধরণের বৈশিষ্ট্য সম্বলিত সেট বাজারে আনবে সেটাও তারা ঠিক করবে চাহিদার অনুপাতেই।

কাজেই আপনার মার্কেট যেখানে ছোট সেখানে কিন্তু আপনি খুব বেশি চিন্তা ভাবনা করবেন না। Samsung এর মতই অন্যান্য কোম্পানী যারা আছে যেমন - Oppo, Vivo, Xiamo এদের বেলাতেও কিন্তু ব্যাপারটা একই রকম। ডিলার রা হয়তো India থেকে সেট আমদানি করবে কর ফাকি দিয়ে। আর সেগুলো Bangladesh এর বাজারে বিক্রি করবে বেশি লাভের আশায়। তাতে একদিকে যেমন আমাদের সরকারী রাজস্ব কমে যাবে অন্যদিকে ক্রেতারাও খুব বেশি লাভ করতে পারবে না। বরং ভবিষ্যতে ফোনের দাম, বৈশিষ্ট্য ইত্যাদিতে আমরা পিছিয়ে থাকবো। কারণ ফোন কোম্পানীগুলো আমাদের দেশের ফোনের বাজারটি পুরোপুরি দেখতে পাবে না।

অনেক কথা হল এবার মূল আলোচনায় আসতে চাই। যেভাবে আপনি আপনার ফোনের বৈধতা যাচাই করতে পারেন সে বিষয়ে আসি। খুব সহজেই আপনি এই কাজটি করতে পারেন একটি মেসেজ পাঠিয়ে। এবং এর জন্য আপনাকে কোন চার্জ দিতে হবে না। সম্পূর্ণ বিনামূল্যে আপনি এই সেবাটি পাবেন। আর আপনার যদি দুটো সিম হয় সেক্ষেত্রে IMEI নম্বর ও হবে দুটি। আর সেক্ষেত্রে আপনাকে দুই বার মেসেজ পাঠাতে হবে আলাদা ভাবে।

SMS পাঠানোর পূর্বে আপনার ফোনের IMEI টি বের করে নিন *#06# চেপে। অথবা আপনি এটি পেতে পারেন ফোনের প্যাকেটে সংযুক্ত কোন স্টিকারে। অথবা ফোনের ব্যাক কাভার খুলে ব্যাটারির নীচ থেকে। যেসব সেটের ব্যাক কাভার রিমুভেবল না সেসব সেটের ব্যাক কাভারের উপরে বিক্রেতা IMEI স্টিকারটি লাগিয়ে দেয় অনেক সময়।

SMS এর মাধ্যমে ফোনের বৈধতা যাচাই -

প্রথমেই আপনার ফোনের মেসেজ অপশনে যাবেন।
এরপর টাইপ করবেন KYD <Space> 15 Digit IMEI নম্বর
এরপর সেন্ড করবেন 16002 এই নম্বরে

BTRC'র ডেটাবেজে IMEI না পাওয়া গেলে?

আপনার মোবাইলটি যদি 2018 সালের আগে কেনা হয়ে থাকে তাহলে সেটা ডেটাবেইজে না পাওয়াটা স্বাভাবিক। কারণ আমাদের সরকার তখনো এ ধরণের কোন উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করেনি। সেক্ষেত্রে আপনার কিছু করার প্রয়োজন নেই।
আপনার মোবাইলটি যদি ইদানীং কেনা হয়ে থাকে এবং যদি দেখেন সেটা ডেটাবেইজে নেই তাহলে সাথে সাথে যেখান থেকে কিনেছেন সেখানে অভিযোগ করবেন। আর যারা নতুন সেট কিনবেন তারা কেনার সাথে সাথেই এই কাজটি করে নিশ্চিত থাকতে পারেন।

প্রিয় পাঠক! Marks PC Solution এর আজকের পোস্টে আপনাকে স্বাগতম। প্রথমেই জানিয়ে রাখছি যে এই লেখাটি শুধুমাত্র বাংলাদেশী নাগরিকদের জন্য। আপনারা অনেকেই হয়তো ব্যাপারটা জানেন। কিন্তু যারা এখনো জানেন না তাদের জন্য আজকের এই টিপস্ টি শেয়ার করতে চাই।

আপনাদের সবারই নিশ্চয়ই জন্ম সনদ রয়েছে যেটা সাধারণত ইউনিয়ন পরিষদ থেকে ইস্যু করা হয়। যদিও জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রকেই (বর্তমানে স্মার্ট কার্ড) আমরা সব যায়গায় প্রাধান্য দিয়ে থাকি। কিন্তু কিছু কিছু যায়গায় এখনো জন্ম সনদের ব্যবহার হয়ে থাকে।

জন্ম সনদ কে অবজ্ঞা করার একটা মূল কারণ হল বিভিন্ন ইউনিয়ন অফিসে এটা একটা সাধারণ কাগজে প্রিন্ট করে তাতে সিল আর স্বাক্ষর করে আমাদের হাতে দেয়া হয়। আর যার ফলে খুব সহজেই এ ধরণের জন্ম সনদ জাল হবার সম্ভাবনা থাকে। MS Word সম্পর্কে একটু ভাল ধারণা যার আছে সে খুব সহজেই এ ধরণের একটা জন্ম সনদ তৈরী করে নিতে পারে।

কিন্তু জন্ম সনদের একটা ইতিবাচক দিক হল আপনি খুব সহজেই অনলাইন থেকে (হোক সেটা মোবাইল বা কম্পিউটার) সেটা যাচাই করে নিতে পারবেন। আপনার নিজের জন্ম সনদের ব্যাপারে হয়তো আপনি নিশ্চিত। কিন্তু আপনি যদি কোন অফিসিয়াল কাজের জন্য অন্য কোন ব্যক্তির জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ পরীক্ষা করতে চান তাহলে খুব সহজেই আপনি সেটা করে নিতে পারবেন নিচের সাইট টি থেকে -

এই সাইটে যাবার পর আপনি যে জন্ম সনদটি পরীক্ষা করতে চান তার নিবন্ধন নম্বর এবং জন্ম তারিখ দিয়ে Verify বাটনে প্রেস করবেন। যদি জন্ম সনদটি সঠিক হয় তাহলে কয়েক সেকেন্ডের মধ্যে ঐ জন্ম সনদটির তথ্য আপনি দেখতে পারবেন।

কিন্তু সমস্যা হল এই সাইটটি প্রায় সময়ই কাজ করে না। আমি যে ধরণের সমস্যাগুলো পেয়েছি সেগুলো হল -

অনেক সময়ই সাইটটি লোড হতে চায় না
কিংবা লোড হতে অতিরিক্ত সময় নেয়
মাঝে মধ্যে তথ্য সার্চ করার পর ফলাফল দেখাতে অতিরিক্ত সময় নেয়
আবার অনেক সময় জন্ম সনদের তথ্য সার্চ করলে আসে না

তবে সর্বদাই যে এ ধরণের সমস্যায় আপনি পরবেন ব্যাপারটা এমন না। মাঝে মধ্যে এ ধরণের সমস্যাগুলো দেখা যায়। হয়তো সার্ভারের কোন ত্রুটি কিংবা রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের জন্যই এমনটা হয়ে থাকে।

Changing Digit Grouping (Comma Style) in MS Excel - Million to Lakh

Well this is a very common problem for our sub-continent i.e. Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Maldives, Sri Lanka. Cause our digit grouping system doesn't match with the international system. To be more specific - they use million, billion etc. But we use - lakh (also lac), crore etc.

Users of the mentioned regions often face problem with the comma separator position in MS Excel. Cause the default system is international. It doesn't suit our digit grouping system.

International System - Separates every three digits

Subcontinental System - Separates every two digits after the 1st three digits

If you're familiar with the Indian Subcontinent system and if you're bound to use this system then it will be a big trouble if you don't know the solution. Well nothing to worry about as you are going through this article. Cause from the very next moment you're getting out of this trouble . . .

You know what's the most funny thing of this topic?? This problem might be related with MS Excel. But Excel itself is not responsible for this problem at all. Believe me! It's your Windows settings buddy. It's a very simple task. Just change the digit grouping system of Region from Control Panel.

Changing the Digit Grouping from Control Panel

Press Start+R > Type Control > Hit Enter
Go to Region > Additional Settings

From Numbers tab choose Digit grouping as shown below i.e. 12,34,56,789

Again from Currency tab choose the same Digit grouping.

Leave the dialogue boxes by pressing Apply > OK

That's it and you're all set! Don't forget the change the Digit grouping both from Numbers and Currency tab.

From now on your Excel will display comma separators as bellow -

In short you can explain an SSD (Solid State Drive) as modern HDD (Hard Disk Drive). What's the difference then? Maybe the functions are almost same but there are some big differences between the two. Go through the post to clear the concept . . .

What's an SSD

A solid state drive or SSD is a storage device that uses non volatile flash memory along with necessary controller and chipset to store the data. It's somewhat like RAM, but unlike RAM it can store data for a long period of time.

An SSD drive is considered to be more durable and stable in that sense - There is no moving parts i.e. platters, spindle, R/W head etc. which are available in traditional HDD.

Advantages of SSD over HDD

If your budget is not limited then you can buy a 1 TB SSD replacing your old HDD. Certainly this will improve your system's overall performance. Or you can use more than one SSD if you need even more storage.

There are thousands of third party applications on Google Play for device maintenance. These apps are normally named as Clean Master, Virus Cleaner, Super Cleaner, Speed Booster, Ram Cleaner, Battery Saver, Speed Charger, Junk Cleaner, CClenaer, Smart Cleaner, 360 Security, Speed Cleaner, CPU Cooler, Phone Cooler, All Cleaner etc. Ordinary users think these apps are useful. But believe it or not - They are all junk!

About these Apps

These apps do nothing. Nothing means they don't do anything good to your phone. Rather sometimes these might be harmful to use! They may promise to -

Clean your phone
Remove viruses
Save battery
Cool down CPU
Minimize the charging time
Boost performance etc.

But these are just fake description about those apps.

Why these Apps are Made for?

Very simple. Just to earn money. Maybe you're installing them for free. But after installing any of these applications you may notice too many unnecessary ads on your device. They normally earn from ads. Even some apps offer in-app purchases for better performance. But it's just their technique to grab money from you!

Some app may try to really work. For example it may try to close the background app. But you may need to use that app frequently and its nature is to operate in background. কথা বললেই রেকর্ড করবে Smart Recorder!

আজকে আপনাদের পরিচয় করিয়ে দিব একটি মজার App এর সাথে। এটি একটি সাধারণ Voice Recorder। কিন্তু এর বিশেষত্ব হল এটি সাউন্ড রেকর্ড করার সময় নীরব অংশটুকু বাদ দিতে পারে! অর্থাৎ কোন রকম শব্দ/ কথা/ আওয়াজ না হলে সে ঐ নীরব অংশটুকু রেকর্ড করবে না। তাই এটার নাম দেয়া হয়েছে - Smart Recorder.

এই অপশনটির নাম হল - Skip Silence. Skip Silence এর মধ্যেই আপনি মোট তিনটি অপশন পাবেন -

প্রথমটি হল Off - যদি আপনি এটা Off করে রাখেন তাহলে পুরো সময়টুকুই রেকর্ড হবে।

দ্বিতীয়টি হল Automatic - যদি আপনি এটাকে এই মোডে রাখেনা তাহলে সে নিজের মত করে নীরব অংশটুকু বাদ দিয়ে রেকর্ড করে যাবে।

তৃতীয়টি হল Manual - এর মানে হল আপনি নিজে একটা শব্দের মাত্রা ঠিক করে দিবেন। স্লাইডার পাবেন নিচেই। ওখান থেকে আপনার মন মত শব্দের মাত্রা পছন্দ করে দিলে সেই অনুযায়ী রেকর্ড হবে।

এছাড়া এই এপটির সেটিংস থেকে আপনারা আরো কিছু বিষয় নিজের মন মত করে সাজিয়ে নিতে পারবেন। যেমন - Sound Quality, Storage Location ইত্যাদি।

App টি আপনারা Google Play থেকে নামিয়ে নিতে পারবেন। উপরে লিংক দেয়া আছে। এর আকৃতিও খুব একটা বেশি না। তাই যেকোন Android Mobile এ এটা চলবে বলে আশা করি। App টি চালিয়ে কেমন লাগলো মন্তব্য করতে ভুলবেন না।

If you're a regular visitor of this site then you might have noticed that Marks PC Solution got a completely fresh look. I've made the changes spending 03 days and now I think it's table. Though I was thinking to change the theme for several years but couldn't manage it for time. But finally I've made it.

About New Theme

I've used blogger's Notable theme to redesign Marks PC. Several modifications have been made to give it a different look. Some changes to the layouts, widths, fonts and background have made it exceptional I think.

A great feature of this theme is that it's responsive. Unlike old themes of blogger, the new themes are responsive to the screen size. That means it adjust the page size according to the size of the device screen. And definitely it will perform well than non responsive theme.

If you're a blogger and still using the old theme then my suggestion is - upgrade your theme with one of the new template. And I hope will be a good choice for you. Though it involves some time and labor.

Current Scenario of Marks PC

It's been more than 02 years since I've lost my visitors. Publishing new posts was also stopped for some difficulties. Consequently my visitor catching posts have also been washed out by Google from search results. And AdSense Revenue has fallen dramatically. It would better to say I've no income from Ads. They are just shown for nothing.

You know this site got down earlier several times. But none of them were like this time. But Marks PC is my life. At any cost I will try to regain the pride of this site. I've already decided that I will try to new posts as much as I can. Thought it will be tough for me to continue writing along with my job.

Smart recorder can record the sounds just like thousands of other voice recorders. But the difference is that it's capable of omitting the silent parts of the time. That means if you keep your recorder on for the whole night then it will just record the noisy parts.

Hello guys! Today I've come with the GTA V Cheat codes for PC. However when you're playing with cheats, your game progress will not be counted. But without cheats it's tough to enjoy the game.

Suppose you're getting chased by cops. And there is no time to down the wanted level by entering wanted level cheat. But if your super jump cheat is already enabled then you can easily escape the death.

Though GTA V doesn't support so many cheat codes but still the following cheats will help you out. One thing which I miss so much is Tank Cheat. Like GTA Vice City or San Andres there is no Tank Cheat I guess. So it will tough for you to destroy the city easily! Ha ha ha!

Hey guys! I'm back to you with the latest version of IDM i.e. 6.33 build 2 with a perfectly working patch. And you know Marks PC never shares any fake tool. Before sharing with you I personally test and verify every tool so that users can use it without hassle.

Before you go -

Please upgrade your browsers to the latest version to avoid any possible compatibility issues with this version of IDM.

What's New in this Version -

Almost nothing except compatibility. And I think it's a great job by IDM authority. This version of IDM is fully compatible with Windows 10. And it works perfectly with the latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and even on Microsoft Edge!

After installing this latest version of IDM you may require to restart your browsers if they were running before installation. And from settings you just need to enable the IDM extension. And then you will be able to easily download the videos from web . . .

Download the IDM 6.33 Build 2

Download the IDM from the above link and follow the instruction below -

Remove previous version of IDM with all of its component (if any).
Unzip the folder and run idman633build2.exe
Complete the installation normally.
Then go to the patches folder and run either 32 bit or 64 version as per your Windows.

What about Security Warnings??

Don't worry about the warnings shown by your Antivirus program. Simply ignore them.

You may need to disable your Antivirus while downloading & installing the IDM. Or you can simply allow this file in your antivirus so that it doesn't delete the file

8.00 GB (4.89 GB Usable) Solved!

Well this is a very common issue for the Windows users. Often you may experience this sort of problems. On your computer properties you may notice only 4.89 GB of RAM usable out of 8.00 GB. Or 3.41 GB usable out of 4.00 GB.

If the difference is not very significant then I suggest you not to take any action. Suppose if 7.86 GB is usable out of 8.00 GB then it's pretty okay. No action needs to be taken at this situation. Cause those portion of RAM might be used by the system hardware.

But when the difference between installed RAM and usable RAM is too much then you must find out the reason and take necessary action to resolve the issue. Otherwise you can't get the optimum performance.

Tips: You can check your system properties by simply pressing Start + Pause. Or right click on My Computer/ Computer Icon and choose Properties.

Probable Reasons

You're using 32 bit version of Windows.

The Mainboard/ Motherboard can't handle the amount of installed RAM.

Your system is very old and BIOS version is also old.

The unusable portion of RAM is reserved by hardware.

Note: Windows XP and Windows 7 Starter Edition can't use more than 2 GB RAM. So if you're using 4 GB or 8 GB there, then it's nothing but waste. Also remember that the later editions of Windows (32 bit) can use maximum 4 GB of RAM. Windows 7 Pro & Above (64 bit) versions can handle up to 192 GB of RAM if supported by your Motherboard.

What to Try

Check System Configuration: If you have a new computer with updated version of 64 bit Windows then this is the main reason of less usable memory. Press Start > Type msconfig > Hit Enter > System Configuration window will appear on the screen. Then go to Boot > Advanced Options > Unmark Maximum memory if it's checked. Now restart your PC and hopefully the problem is fixed!

If the above method doesn't work, then you should check the capacity of your motherboard. You can get this information from manufacturer's website. If your motherboard has a limited capacity of using RAM i.e. (2 GB or 4GB) then your system needs to be updated.

Or you can try updating your BIOS version. But don't try to do this if you're a normal user.
